A Life-Changing Experience at Gold's Gym Quebec
I recently joined Gold's Gym Quebec and it has been a life-changing experience. The new strength equipment is top-notch, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is incredibly supportive. I love the variety of group classes offered, especially the bodybuilding workouts. The VIP lockers and massage therapy area are a nice touch for relaxation after a good workout. Highly recommend giving Gold's Gym Quebec a try!
Mixed Experiences at Gold's Gym
If you're considering Gold's Gym, be prepared for a mixed bag of experiences. While some customers praise the variety of classes and equipment, others have faced issues with cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. It seems like the quality of service can vary greatly depending on the location. Before committing, it might be wise to visit the specific gym you're interested in and see if it aligns with your expectations and standards.
Title: Warning: Terrible Experience with Gold's Gym Arcadia, CA
Warning: Terrible Experience with Gold's Gym Arcadia, CA
I recently had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Gold's Gym, specifically at the Arcadia, CA location. I feel compelled to share my story to warn others about the unprofessionalism and lack of integrity I encountered.
I initially signed up with a $1 initiation fee, expecting to take advantage of a promotional offer. However, I made it clear that I needed my account to be placed on freeze as I was traveling out of the country. Despite providing documentation of my travel plans, I discovered three months later that Gold's Gym had been charging my account every month, along with the initial fee, without my knowledge or consent.
When I finally realized what was happening and requested a refund, the process became a nightmare. I was met with constant excuses and delays whenever I tried to contact the management. Despite speaking to the General Manager and explaining my situation, I was met with indifference and ultimately denied a refund.
It's evident that Gold's Gym Arcadia cares more about squeezing money out of its customers than their fitness and wellness. The lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is appalling. It's even more disheartening to learn that the staff member who initially assisted me is no longer employed, allegedly due to similar complaints.
I urge anyone considering joining Gold's Gym in Arcadia, CA, to think twice. This establishment has shown a complete disregard for its customers' well-being and is only interested in profiting at their expense. I plan to share my experience on every social media platform to ensure that others are aware of what they might encounter.
In conclusion, my experience with Gold's Gym Arcadia, CA, was nothing short of a nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and find a gym that values its customers and their satisfaction.

No one is responding back to me!
I haven't contacted the Gold's gym at Crossroad multiple times and no response. I no longer live in San Antonio TX due to unforeseen life events, we had to move to Ohio.
I've been trying to cancel through email but no response, called the property, they told me I had to come in. I told them I live in Ohio now. I can't come in.
Then he provided me his boss's email. I have email her twice and no response. I also have given them the time to respond back to me due to the holidays but still nothing. This is ridicules. I have been in customer service for 10 years and I would never treat my guest/ customers this way.
I have screenshots of my emails and not one response back.
Desired outcome: waive cancellation fee.

Harassment
I was at the gym on bandera pointe with my boyfriend. GM Lauren Flores came up to us and started yelling at him that he cannot freelance. She was yelling so loud people were staring. I explained I’m his girlfriend I don’t pay him. She then said he brings other girls to the gym. In front of everyone. I was extremely embarrassed. There was numerous other couples working out. I’m wondering why we were attacked.

My credit card got hack not once but twice with 2 weeks. Gold's Gym reimburse me for the first late Fee of $20.00 but the 2nd time they would not. I ask the manager Darren at the Waxahachie Gold's Gym. On September 18th it was hack the 1st time and then hack again on October 16th. My billing date is the 26th. Amazing that the GM of the McAllen, Tx facility is okay with taking advantage of an 18 year old kid and take their hard earned money. On October 2 my son purchased a membership. Read full review of Gold's GymThey won't cancel my membership and want to continue charging me.
I have been unable to go to the gym for over 6 months, and decided to cancel my membership. They tell me I am required to give 30 days notice before they cancel the membership. However, today is 10/4/23 and my last bill was 9/25/23. They say that I have to pay again on 10/25/23 and my membership will end on 11/25/23. Their contract says they will terminate their services effective 30 days after I submit my request which is today 10/4/23. That means they are making me pay a full month more for service that is beyond the 30 days. They won't pro-rate it so that I only pay for 10/25-11/4. They were extremely rude to me via emails and refuse to cancel my membership or let it expire on 10/25 as it should. They have record of me not stepping foot into a Gold's gym in over 6 months and so they have more than enough free money from me. Additionally they raised the rates on me from $32.xx to $37.xx without my permission.
Desired outcome: I want my membership to end on October 25th and to not be billed again from them. Ever.

I paid a membership for my son in Maadi Branch and in 3 days I requested a refund. This happened as my son couldn't manage his time with his private lessons and gym. we decided to postpone the membership for few months.
I filled the refund request on 12 Sep 23 and nobody has called back. I kept following up with the gym staff and at the end after almost 3 weeks they told me you signed an old version of the refund request (which is not my fault at all and I should have been contacted to sign the new form, but nobody cares to call).
Yesterday 28 Sep, I went again and signed the new form, but staff told me the manager of the branch Mr Omar should call u before u get ur refund. and till now he hasn't cared to call and I haven't got my refund. I thought am dealing with Gold's Gym and that I will get the refund the soonest.
The worst experience ever.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and the refund as soon as possible. It's been around 3 weeks!!!

My name is Jason, and I have been a member of your gym for roughly 3 years. Always had issues with some of the staff and trainers even though I barely interacted with them. Read full review of Gold's GymRefused to process buyer's remorse few hours after the service is requested
I went to Gold's gym in Glendale CA. I thought I was only going to register because i've already enrolled thru my insurance.
I was enticed to get a personal trainer and was charged $1,128. After 3hours, I called and expressed my desire to cancel saying I want to think about it, I was told to wait on the line, call was transferred 2x so I decided to go to the area since I am still inside the mall. To my surprise the staff were just gathered around a table while my call was on hold, when I asked them they said they were talking about my request (I was informed over the phone earlier that they need to speak to the regional manager)
When I was at the store, they printed a copy that I signed stating, service can't be cancelled, I expressed frustration as this was not disclosed to me (I was too trusting to sign earlier as I thought it was just to confirm the enrolment)
The personnel told me they will request cancellation and I have to wait for 5-7 business days to know if they will approve the "request"
This is very misleading and can be considered as a fraud to hook you into something where "buyers remorse" seemed not honored/considered.
It is not fait to fall into a trap w/o proper disclosure, I please need help.
Incident happened today, October 11, 2023 before 3pm PST.
Desired outcome: money back, no service was rendered yet

Idaho Falls Gold’s Gym has the worst customer service. They conveniently put my phone number and email address in wrong and wondered why I didn’t respond to they say over 20 phone calls, and texts, and emails saying my credit card was unsuccessfully charged. But rather than suspend my account for not paying. They continued to bill me every month for 2 additional months past my 1 year mark and then send it to collections. When I went in to ask them about it, they called me a liar and told me I would be billed until I cancelled in writing. This company is a bunch of crooks and don’t care about anything but making money. Do yourself a favor and don’t sign up.
being lied to about stopping my membership, being charged for a closed gym
Ever since the pandemic gold's gym in york, pa has been closed. When I called and talked to customer service they took my info and told me I would need to pay one more month and than my membership would be terminated. This was not the case and I have been charged for a closed gym for a long time. This is absolutely unacceptable and money is being stolen from me by gold's gym with no way of cancelling and no help from them.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund for all the months the money has been taken from me.
