my son's medication
My 9 year old son's prescription was dropped off on 12/23/2016. After numerous calls I've been hung up on, lied to and continually been ignored regarding the issue. My son is bipolar and has been off his meds due to an error CVS made as was told by the woman supervisor. I was given 2 loaners since then of 2 days worth each. So my son is all out of wack and we are now at mental health crisis center due to CVS! I'm definitely suing and my lawyer will be in contact with your office soon. Stick to selling high price items but stop being a pharmacy... the service is absolutely awful!
horrible treatment by loss prevention manager
I'm sorry my friends but I need to vent about something that happened on Monday. Anyone who knows my sister Pam knows what a sweetheart she is and how honest she is. She has worked at CVS in Concord for the last six years and she was suspended on Monday because of a gift card which had a total of three dollars on it that a customer gave to her. Had she known that this was against policy she never would have used it. She used it when she purchased something from the store at the beginning of December. She was called into the office Monday morning and made to feel like a criminal by a woman who must just do that for the company while her boss stood by and said nothing. She was asked to sign papers when she was so upset and crying and told she would be called in a couple of days to let her know if she had a job. Well that call never came. That is what she deserved? I think they wanted to get rid of her because she wasn't making minimum wage and she was a full time employee. Now that the Holidays are over they didn't need her anymore. I will not do business with CVS ever again. All my Moms prescriptions will be taken out of there. If this is the way they treat there employees they should be ashamed of themselves. I am going to write a letter to there corporate headquarters and get her some compensation somehow. She deserves it! This came off my facebook page and CVS has already loss some business that adds up to far more than three dollars.
A business as large as CVS is will not notice any lost business unless the amount equals to a whole store closing. I have to agree with Wine Is good about employees accepting gifts from customers. I've worked for several large chain stores and everyone of them have the same policy, doesn't matter how small it is
pharmacist
I went to pick up my prescription the girl said I had to paid I said why this is medical she said I had my limit for this month 6prescription I said this was my first for this month I wanted to talk to the person in charge so the pharmacist said the same thing so I was asking Aaron what was going on and he said he would see. But the pharmacist said no don't worry about it real real rude I said don't worry about it and Aaron said he would take care of it he got my med. I think that pharmist was really rude to me. You all really need to talk with her. She is Elvie Wu Thank you Belinda Summers
cvs pharmacy racist dm
My husband who was a store manage in DC, worked for 19 years at CVS, almost 20. He was a dedicated employee who worked more than 14 hours practically every day, and on more than 100 occasions stayed working overnight at the store to get things organized and work done that needed to be done at the store. When an employee or supervisor would call out, he was the first to show up if a replacement could not be found and often did this even if it meant working open to close. He worked almost every holiday so employees could be with their families. He received several bonuses, and last year or the year before an award for being a dedicated employee. He has also been in the top 5 stores in the distract in the past. A few months ago, a new District manager was hired. But once she started she began writing him up for minor things and today terminated him. Out of the almost 20 years he worked there he had never been written up. My husband is a legal Hispanic and this district manager has terminated mainly Hispanics since working for CVS (which has been less than a year). You best believe there will be a law suit for discrimination, because my husband has worked his butt off and dedicated literally half his life (he is 41) almost 20 years to CVS only to be targeted and terminated by a new district manager for being Hispanic. I am appalled by CVS Pharmacy work ethics and their treatment of employees, especially those who have dedicated and loyal to the company for so many years, like my husband.
I am surprised CVS did not investigate or review this termination with my husband having such a positive record as an employee at CVS.
cvs advanced glucose meter
On 12/8/2016 purchased the cvs advance glucose meter and I was get very high readings. The last 4 days I have checked the reading from this machine at the same time with the reading from another meter freestyle
Precision neo and the readings on cvs advance meter are approximately 40-45 points above the precision neo. I took the advance meter back to
Cvs and they could not explain why there was such a difference. They called the customer service number [protected] and there answer was that there could be a 20% difference between what the reading should be and what the meter was showing as the reading for a particular test. This response is not acceptable. I have had type 2 diabetes for over 15 yrs. And have had several meters over that period of time and I have never had a meter that gave me readings so high as this meter.. They did not even offer
To give me a new machine to see if there was a problem with the one I purchased. The box the meter and testing strips was package in stated this item required no coding and was proven clinical accurate.
I tried to e-mail cvs customer service but trying to send them a message was a joke to say the least and I was never allowed to send it.
ecb
ecb are rewards for us spending money in your store, they should not expire. my local store normally takes them anyway so never had to worry about it. tried to use one a few days ago that was 2 days expired and this time they would not take it so have lost it. is there a process where you can reissue this buck. I can provide the card number or number under bar code, whatever is easier to find it. it is lined to the same email I am sending this from.
prescription refill
The number changed and no one knew and had to call another CVS to get correct number. My mother called to get medicine filled around 12noon and she was told that it would be ready by 7pm. When I arrived to get it still wasnt ready, I was told it would be expedited and ready within 20 mins, returmed 20 mins later still wasnt ready, also cashier at pharmacy was rude about it and said well there are 200 other prescriptions in cue, and it would be tomorrow before medicine would be ready. The prescription is for my mothers mood and she needs it asap.

Employee name Nekima
She refused to check me out. She came up to help check. I walked up with she said I can help someone here. I had one small battery. She said I was not next and I could go to the back of the store to check out. She also looked at the lady beside me ) another customer)and said "why does white people always think the are next" and laughed at me. SHE REFUSED TO CHECK ME OUT AND MADE WHAT I CONSIDER A RACIEST COMMENT.
CVS in California has been sued year after year on cheating both store and pharmacy staff on NOT paying overtime past the weekly hour shift and also any staff working graveyard shift. There have been more than 4-5 Class Action Lawsuit against CVS on behalf of the pharmacist and the pharmacy manager. I worked as pharmacist in all 60 CVS stores as a floater in Region 4 (San Diego) for more than 3 years between [protected]. During this period, pharmacist and pharmacy staff have been quitting on a monthly basis. There is total lack of respect by CVS middle level management on ALL staff. Employees (store and pharmacy)were placed in a "threatening" working environment at all times and store and pharmacy supervisors are constantly writing up employees on not following company's policy and procedure and once enough documentation (staff consultation)was accumulated on their "alleged" misconduct over months, employees were forced to admit all of the "alleged" wrongdoings listed on the employee consultation WITHOUT any justifications and transparency. With their massive cut in the weekly staff hours despite doubling pharmacy workload, they continued to blame ALL employees for their mistakes.
Between [protected], pharmacists and pharmacy managers have been quitting and they all become "floaters" and their hours are cut to less than the 30 hours as defined by CVS as full time. There is absolutely NO consistency in the store and pharmacy staff so they move them around in all 60 stores just to keep the stores open. At the same time, they threatened new, young pharmacy graduates to become "pharmacy manager" so that they could just keep the pharmacies open. How do you expect to run any business and provide the best services to customers when you don't even have a consistent and stable staff? In my time working for CVS, store, pharmacists, pharmacy manager, pharmacy supervisors disappeared (fired) without justifications. I feel sympathetic with the store and pharmacy staff as they are faced with a massive workload with limited budget just to complete their daily chores in a timely fashion. Pharmacist's professional reputation has been greatly downgraded by the retail pharmacy sector since the economic crisis in 2007. Pharmacists have always been voted as "the most trusted professional" in the health care industry in the last 20 years and it's very unfortunate that it was taken away by CVS and Walgreens. I am hoping that all corporations should treat people with "dignity" and "respect" which are much badly needed in our current climate.
The "hostile" working environment created by CVS and the extremely low morale from past and current employees reflect the CVS corporate image as a Fortune 500 company.

Most of the staff in the pharmacy is not friendly and rude. Not organized at all . I have so much trouble. I have my primary insurance and I have health well . It's from the cystic fibrosis foundation. They are supposed to cover what my insurance don't. I have told the staff and they say they don't keep no record of it. Some of the staff does it ok and some acts like it makes them mad when I tell them my other insurance covers the remaining. I am aware health well don't cover all my meds but I have a paper telling me what they cover and most of the staff don't want to look it up to see if it's covered. I hate to complain but it gets old getting the poor service. Thank you for your time.

This is the worst company ever to get infertility medicines. I've having getting my medications from CVS for over a year and I've had problems after problems. It's already stressful enough going through fertility treatment but dealing with CVS is terrible. They take days to find our and input my medicines, I've even run into situations where they have lost it. With Wal-green they call you immediately when they receive faxes from my doctor. I'm now running into a issues that CVS is now into a new system and they did not transfer my profile information over from the old system. I don't understand that bc you migrate over to a new system the company should bring everyone information over. They are telling me that I can't get my refills bc I am not in the new system and I have to wait many days until it done. This is the worst Pharmacy I've ever dealt with. I don't have days to wait for my infertility medicines. Plus when I try to talk to a supervisor, I've to wait on hold for ever and leave a message that they don't return.

Today I was in the store, I printed out 42 photos. When it was my turn to check out and pay: the cashier cindy was horribly obnoxious, mean, rude and frightening, she basically yelled at me and exhibited bad behavior. During this, she refused to ring me up, accept my coupon or proceed in any otherwise accepted and routine manner of cashier-customer relations. She also, upon request of her name in order to file a complaint, mentioned her name was "barbara". This proceeded:
Register #07 with cashier#1444687 rang up my photos and I paid. I also purchased a time magazine. Transactions #8515 & #8616. I was informed that the first cashiers name who frightened me was actually cindy. Cindy continued to yell at me while I was paying for my purchase at reg #07. After I was done paying, receipt and purchases in my bag, I left the store.
This was not the first time in the last month that an employee at the cvs store #623 has otherwise insulted, frightened me and refused to wait on me so I may pay for my purchase in a reasonable and expected manner. The manager of the store witnessed and was available for the previous incident that occurred before today. She presented herself as the "manager" and refused to assist me with the incident nor assist me in filing a complaint. : what happened:
A cashier refused to type in and or accept a cvs money card for my cvs purchase. I was further told by the cashier (Name I forget) that if I want the money card balance for my purchase to basically ring it up on the register myself. I was quite horrified as I am a routine and ordinary customer of the cvs. I in no way felt comfortable typing in and entering the cvs money card number onto the key pad for the register to work or the transaction to go through. I eventually did pay for my purchase. My cvs money card was accepted by the "manager" along with the balance in other forms. With a receipt and purchase in a bag I left the store. Whether she is the manager or assistant manager, I would like to file a complaint. Her behavior to me during the incident was horrible and frightening as it lacked cvs typically expected professional customer service.
I would like the situation resolved: I am a westport, ct town resident for 42 years. To be able to shop as a customer as normal and per usual would be a start.
Sincerely,
Nicole aimee winder

generic norco ip110
I have filed a complaint with the FDA regarding the knock off pills you claim are the same as the norco yellow ones I normally get. I've told your very rude staff at store #5482 that it takes 2 of the white ones as opposed to 1 yellow. They give me a smart ### attitude complete with an eye roll telling me there is no difference. This is bull#### because I take them everyday for years now. I take my medication responseably and respect the dangers this medication can pose if abused. I'm allowed to take up to 6per day however, I rarely go over 4. Why I take them is really none of your business or the pharmacist either. This is between me and my doctor. Yet Everytime I come into store #5482 I expect to be treated like a criminal and a junkie. This is what I learned to expect from the staff. They assume without knowing and believe they are more rightous than I. I have called and complained about this before but given all the horrible reviews and continued negative attitudes i experience from the same staff, your company has received I am going to assume you don't care that much. Now there is one highlight the pharmacy staff at store #1676 are extremely friendly eager to help and don't judge me for taking pain medication. You should really have them teach the rest of your pharmacy staff at other locations how to truly be customer service representatives.
Now let me make this perfectly clear to you I live in Chicago I have several pharmacies within a 2 mile radius and all are competing for my business. Though I have caremark insurance I know that I don't have to use you. And if the medication cost a little bit more i don't care either. I demand respect from anyone I give my business to.
Like I said I have filed a complaint with the FDA and told them that you are supplying medication that doesn't live up to how you claim it does. Now I urge you to do a Google search on white norcos vs yellow norcos. I'm not the only one who noticed a difference. I also urge you to look into and address the many disturbing reviews your pharmacy has on line. I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who gets treated like ####. At the same time I'm also disturbed that with regards to your company that it does seem that your bank account means more to you than customer service. Very, very sad you should be ashamed.
email advertising
CVS has misleading emails. They say things like you needs to spend your HSA money before year end and then encourage you to go online and spend it. This is false. HSA money does not expire at year end.
They also have misleading promotional emails. One caught me where they promised free chocolate if you entered a certain coupon code and bought enough stuff. I entered the coupon code, reached the buying minimum but still did not receive the chocolate.
The aggravation in dealing with them to resolve issues is not worth the time it takes. These are not the only issues - I have many more.
It's just not worth buying stuff from them.
stolen property
On Thursday, December 1st at about 4:30pm PST, I went to your CVS in South Gate given that the CVS in Bell did not have the product I needed. I have been a loyal CVS customer and frequently go about three times per week. On this particular day, I went into the store in South Gate and when I got out, my tailgate had been stolen from the front of your store. What made me upset was that you have two security guards there, who did not want to give me their names and let me know that they did not see who had stolen it. I went back into the store to speak with the manager, however the manager was not present. I have called several times to the store to have the manager call me, however I have not received a call back. I do not understand how two security guards, who's primary job is the security of the customers and their belonging would not see anything. I have filed a claim with my insurance, however I have to pay the deductible of $500. I am looking for restitution from CVS and am looking for a positive outcome as I would not want to go to the media with this.
I look forward to your response.

complaining about service
The pharmacy on bridge street in Margaretville, NY has a problem servicing African Americans. I waited at the pickup area for 5 minutes waiting for someone to come to the register. A woman came from behind me just as a pharmacy tech came to the register and gave a persons name to ask for their prescription. The pharmacy tech simply ignored the fact that I was first and even waiting for her to come to the counter. There is also a woman that works the cashier in the front of the store that may have told pharmacy to give me a hard time considering her son in law is one of the pharmacist and she knows the whole staff. Next pharmacy is an hour away. It does not pay to live in a prejudice community.
Not the pharmacist, but the pharmacy tech was the problem. And not all the people in this community are prejudice, some are quite the opposite. The "contact us" feature of this website to remove this complaint is not working properly.
customer service
One star! If I could give no star I would. This morning cvs customer service representative was so rude to me that I still can't get over and go on with my day. He was short, talked down to me and I felt scolded for not picking up my prescription last time they filled it in for me. He also without any kind of warning put me on hold and I was simply wondering what was going on.
5 minutes later I called again and asked for a manager and another lady on the phone gave me the same kind of arrogant attitude.
CVS employees don't care about our complaints because there must be no consequences for their rudeness. They clearly aren't worried about losing their jobs. So I doubt that complaining to a manager would help.
Also they ask you when it's good for you to pick it up, I say in 30 minutes and when I come they make me wait another 40 mins as it's still not ready. What a waste of my time!
I and my entire family are going to permanently fill my prescriptions at another pharmacy with a better customer service!
wrong prescription
I dropped off prescription for codeine 15 mg for my dog. The script clearly indicated canine. When I dropped off script I told them it was for my dog. They gave me acetaminophen-codeine #2. I thought this didn't look right and I took it to my vet. This was incorrect and contains Tylenol that is toxic to dog. My dog could have died. When my vet called CVS they were rude. They said they threw out the prescription. Why would they do that. I am talking with a lawyer about this.
It is recommended that you check the information on the prescription bottle prior to paying for it and definitely prior to giving it to a pet or person. Mistakes do happen. Since there was no actual damage done, a lawyer is a waste of everyone's time.
unethical and discriminatory behavior
I went into the pharmacy at 8:30PM on November 15th to pick up a prescription. There were no customers in the pharmacy. Two people were working. An African American Woman and a young African American man. Neither acknowledged that I was standing at the counter. I waited and watched - as they drank Dr. Pepper and had a personal conversation. Finally I asked the woman (the pharmacist on duty)if she could help me. She said she'd be with me in a moment and began to shuffle paper. At this point another customer (an older white gentleman) had come to the counter. Still - nothing from the two employees. Finally - the young man asked if he could help. I told him I was there to pick up a prescription - and was told I did not have one. I asked him to please look to try to determine the problem because I knew I had a prescription. He typed some things into one computer - went to another computer - talked to the pharmacist and then came back and told me that they did not have my medication in stock. He said it would be several days before they could get it. I asked him to please call the prescription in to the CVS farther down Hartley Bridge Road (near I75). The other man standing at the counter was obviously annoyed that they had not acknowledged him. I left. I went to CVS near I75 today on my lunch break and the prescription had not been called in. I called the original CVS to see what the problem was. The young man that answered the phone assured me he would call it in to the other CVS. I asked him for the pharmacist name - and he put me on hold. He came back to tell me that he could not give me her name. The two African American people working at the counter last night purposely ignored the two white people (myself and the older gentleman) and only begrudgingly waited on us. Their behavior was uncalled for and unethical. I have never been treated so rudely in any establishment.
Get over it.
customer service
I went to pick up a prescription on Nov. 13 2016 at 4:05 pm. From the CVS store 3144. I was waiting in line and stepped out of line twice due to forgetting something so I got to back of line. When I was next in line, a man I had seen before at counter went in front of me to get serviced. The pharmacist tech explained to Caucasian lady behind me that the man had to do something and that is why he was able to get up front. She did not notice me or acknowledge my presence. Next, a lady came from the back to front in front of me and the pharmacist tech without explaining anything to me serviced her . When I went up front, I asked where did that lady come from and the pharmacist tech said she had forgotten something. The question is that as a customer was I not due respect of an explanation of what was occurring. I don't know but I have a pretty good feeling the fact that I am African American made it seem as if I didn't count as much as the Caucasian woman standing behind me. However, the money I spent has just as much value as the money the Caucasian woman spent.
So, as an African American, it is ok for you to forget something, but not for any other color?
