medication
Went to cvs advance nc store to get medication. Went to the drive through and the lady at the window her name is teresa. She talked to me like I was dirt, she said in a loud mean voice don't you have insurance, you know how much this medicine cost 389.00. I sat their and bit my tongue so I would go to her level. She was very sarcastic and being a smart #. Well I have had enough. I went to another drug store and it's not a chain store. The gerenic meds I was getting from your store was so much cheaper and I was treated like I was important and they were friendly. This store is family owned and are not price gauging on their generic medication. Your store is way too high on your generic drugs. You don't have to worry about me going into any of your stores again. And its none of your workers business whither I have insurance and they will not give me the prices of the medication again because I will not go their.
entyvio
We are a physician's office who use Entyvio for our patients. We are required to use CVS Specialty pharmacy to obtain medication. An order was placed and confirmed on 8/30/16 for delivery on 9/1/16 and CVS was told patient scheduled in our office on 9/1/16. Medication was not delivered on 9/1/16. We received a call from CVS on 9/2/16 medication had not shipped yet and we could expect by Wednesday 9/7/16. At this point, the patient had already taken time off work, his ordered medication for treatment will be almost a week late. Our office called back on 9/2/16 at approximately 11:00 am and spoke with Justin, a supervisor who said he was going to try to get Entyvio to us by courier today so patient could still be treated. He said he would let us know. Called CVS back at 4:30 as no courier, no medication and no call- waiting for over 15 minutes to speak to anyone, we decided our only option to express our disappointment on CVS's lack of customer service or care for patient treatment was to file this complaint. The service on this order was awful, the customer service was worse. If we didn't HAVE to use CVS, we wouldn't.
customer service
My complaint is about disrespect, i have been a customer with cvs for about 5 years, in martin tn. I left cvs and went to Van's pharmacy in martin tn. I left because every time I had medicine filled it would take no less than an hour to fill my prescription. Cvs bought the van's pharmacy, there are a couple of older ladies that work there, they have been nothing but kind and respectful. There are a lot of new faces in the new cvs store in martin tn., the girls are so rude, the young girls are so hateful to the older workers, I was embrassed for a lady today.her name is Regina there was a young girl on the computer beside ms.regina, the girl didn't have a name tag on., Regina had to cancel the Medicare on the prescription and run it as cash.ms.Regina asked the girl for help, the young girl said "push 11 you know how" ms. Regina couldn'the get the refund to print.she asked the young girl for help, she would not help ms.Regina any futher.I got the impression that the young girls are trying to get rid of the older women that work there. They need some training in respecting the customer and their co workers. The only drug store in our town are 2 cvs 's and wal mart.it'so not like we have a lot of pharmacits to choose from. It'seems sad to think that the young girls don't want the older women there, when they need to work too.
rude employee
I have use this cvs for more than 2 years. I have no problem with any of the employee's but one. I use the pharmacy on a regular basics and one employee in particular is very rude her name is tondelaya. I notice this day one but i said maybe she is having a bad day. I notice she is rude all the time. This lady never greet customer's.Right away ask for your information. I have spoke to her and she act as if the customer is bothering her. I don't want her fired but maybe she could have a training in greeting customers. I don't know if she really know how important it is to treat the customers with respect, you might want to mention it to her. I think if she do not change her behavior i will shop some other pharmacy. My bother in law is dr. Adgerson dds and his patients use your pharmacy as well. I will have to tell him how i'm treated at this pharmacy and ask him to remove his patients from your store as well. The store #1335 employee tondelaya i would like to thank you in advance looking forward to a solution regarding this issue.
I agree. It is CVS Pharmacy, not CVS Psychiatric Ward.
Honestly, CVS is a busy pharmacy. Just give her your information so she can wait on you and the other hundred of patients that need her attention.
What is it with people who think a store employee should be their friend?
ambien generic
I gave pharmacy clerk my prescription for 30, 10 mg tablets and my discount card. She said in a loud voice, " It is against the law to discount this medication" and I said I had received a discount for my previous order for the same medication. She said" I will not give you a discount because I will not break the law"Realizing our interaction was making a...

I went in to pick up my prescription that was sent to the CVS at 1361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island NY. I was told at the pick up location to go to the drop off and ask about my prescription because it wasn't coming up.
The lady by the name of Courtney Farmer at the drop off counter was having a conversation with a white gentleman. I stood behind him on the line for 2 minutes because I thought she was filling up his prescription. I realized from their conversation, they were chatting about personal things, so I walked up closer to the the register so that she would see a customer waiting. She looked at me and continued to have her conversation with the gentleman. I tried to be really calm because I didn't want to let that stereotyping of black people being dramatic to be true. She ignored me again, I then said to her, can you please check my prescription and after that you two could continue your conversation that has nothing to do with the job. She still ignored me, when the other customers that were white began to shake their heads and say "this is unbelievable ", that's when she asked the guy if he had any prescription to drop off, she filled it in, and still kept talking to him. I have never ever felt disrespected and looked down upon at that location until I met Courtney Farmer today. No one should be ignored because they are black.
Oh wait, you are the black person in this story. I had to read your complaint again. I still hold to my opinion. You were rude.
No, you interupted someone already in a conversation with a customer because you decided that you, being a white person, was more important. It is standard courtesy to talk and interact with customers, especially in a pharmacy. Your actions were very rude, and you are lucky all you got was ignored.
terrible condition of stores

Cvs pharmacy 42nd st & 3rd ave nyc
Both coupon machines with signs "out of order"
All cashiers: cash only
No personal available at check out machines to assist customer (Me) with coupons.
I left this store and went to
Cvs pharmacy 3rd ave & 47th st
Had 20% off coupon for household goods but
No household goods available on shelves (Sales personnel said he was the only clerk on duty and items that were in the back would not be put on shelves until maybe tomorrow
I was able to buy items because they were not on shelves
Cvs used to be my preferred store but service has deteriorated a great deal in the past few months.
service
August 18, 2016. My family have been loyal customers of CVS storeid=6374 since the store opened. I understand that often they get back logged with prescriptions and people waiting for the pharmacy and that is not my complaint. However today at 5:45 pm I went into the store to buy a gallon of milk. I waited several minutes for someone to check me out and no one came, I called out and the woman standing on my side of the counter with another woman and a cell phone at the photo section finally said in a very sarcastic tone, "I'm helping someone you have to wait." I don't mind waiting for a reasonable time but this was ridiculous. I then went to the pharmacy and asked if there was anyone else in the store that could check me out at the front. The pharmacy tech looked at me like I was stupid and said that the only other person was a young man in the pharmacy who already had a line of people waiting for him. Surely a store of that size with the amount of business they do should have another clerk that can wait on customers while the only clerk is tied up in the photo department. My husband and I both have a number of prescriptions we refill every month at CVS. The local CVS we use is convenient and while Pam Cheek was the manager I never had a problem with the way I was treated by the employees. If they can't afford to take care of their patrons, I won't be able to continue shopping there.
Bless their heart...
This was in Orange Texas. In Orange Texas everybody is special. It's a "Suthirn" thing.
The fact that you are not smart enough to figure out that if there was another checker there they would be on the register is frightening. You have to wait your turn. You are no more special than anyone else. Geesh.
online account
On Tuesday, August 16, 2017, at approximately 6:15 PM, I found I'd been locked out of my online CVS account. The password I'd been using for months was now suddenly invalid. I used the recovery link and was provided with my security question. I provided the correct answer, which was summarily rejected.
I find it a convenient coincidence that I recently made complaints about CVS on three of their Facebook Pages. The previous posts have been removed from https://www.facebook.com/cvs.pharmacy.complaints/. Original complaints were removed from https://www.facebook.com/CVS-445976435485634/ and https://www.facebook.com/CVS/; second complaint on both pages not removed as it was posted as a comment to the Tuesday, August 9, 2016 post at 9:30 AM on both pages for waterproof mascara. My complaints and their responses, etc., were copied and pasted to my own Facebook page for the enlightenment of my more than 2, 400 Facebook friends.
PRIOR:
"In checking my online account to find out when to pick up my prescriptions, I see some misleading info:
"[1] Ready for Pick Up | PICK UP | September 14
[2] Scheduled for Refill | on 08/11/2016 | PICK UP | September 14
[3] Available for Renewal | on 08/11/2016 | View all prescriptions | for this medication | PICK UP | September 14
"#1 makes it appear that my prescription is ready for pick up, but that I can't do it until 09/14. #2 makes it appear that it will be filled tomorrow, but that I can't pick it up until 09/14. #3 makes it appear that it will be available to be renewed tomorrow, but I can't pick it up until 09/14.
"According to a pharmacy tech at CVS #6719, the date in September is the date these prescriptions are due to be refilled. Wouldn't it be best to clarify that so that the customers aren't being misled into believing what we see in black and white: PICK UP | September 14?"
CVS responded:
"Hi Steve! Thanks for sharing this feedback with us. Due to current privacy laws, CVS Pharmacy cannot discuss any kind of prescription transactions publicly. We would encourage you to speak to your local CVS pharmacist or you can also give our customer relations team a call at 1-800-SHOP-CVS for further assistance. Thank-you!"
I replied:
"No privacy laws have been touched. The issue is "PICK UP | [date]" being misleading into making it seem as if the date shown is the date scheduled for pick up, when it isn't. That's the issue here, not private information. Please focus on the real issue."
CVS replied:
"Okay, Steve, if you change your mind and would like to discuss HIPAA with our team members, please give us a call at (800) SHOP CVS. Good bye."
You can see how it can be frustrating with people who clearly are not paying attention to what's in black and white right in front of their very eyes.
Thank you for your patient attention,
Steven E. Morrell
How could they help you with a pick up issue without you providing your name, medication, and insurance information, which is a HIPPA violation in a public forum?
Your conspiracy theory is stupid. And why complain to CVS about mascara? Do you think they manufacturer mascara? Contact the brand about it.
pharmacy services
Cvs pharmacy is the worst... Akron ohio on canton road...
I will never step foot into a cvs again! The pharmacy was so rude and nasty... And threatening to call police and on top banned us from their store in front of our 8 year old grandchild... All over the refill of my husbands controlled substance... The pharmacist should loss her licence and her intake clerk should be fired! Miss information and bad service and slanderous comments put into our file... Corporate office on top protects these people... They will soon find out that people will not stand for this treatment and complaints will pile in... Loss of business on their end... I will tell everyone of my experience at this store and how they turn a blind eye to peoples complaints... I am not the only one who has complained and nothing has been done... I guess this is the kind of treatment that you receive after years of spending money at their store... Shame on your practices cvs...
You are both losers...you can't comprehend what you read...And for the record I really don't care where you work or how much you make...so go creep on someone else's complaint...Your probably both unhappy with your lives that's why you spend your time on this board..acting like you know something when you can't even read
I think you both are self righteous fools...I don't give a flying Friday what either of your opinions are...Clearly you both have to call names and attack character...Your parents did a good job raising you both
You are the one with issues... You asked what happened i told you... This is suppose to be a complaint board... Not attack people and insult them... Both of you don't know us... As i don't know you... But in this post that i am posting i have no regard for your comments and as far as i am concerned you both are low life... Big deal you make a little over minimum wage... Good for you... Piss off both of you...
No you are the Hater...Keep on keeping on...Your good at it...Lol...wtf and lmao..You are a prize CVS employee...Got anything else because like I said...you got to have the last word...attack...attack...immature...
BLAH BLAH BLAH...Certified Tech...
OH AND BY THE WAY It Was not me who got kicked out of the store...It was my Husband and Grandson...You don't read very well..maybe that is why you are just a Certified and registered Tech and a Pharmacist wanna be...As I stated before have a nice day...
Obviously you can not read...They filled it early ...You make me laugh...I don't have time for this with you...Go scold someone else with your ego...Again Rudeness...and Power Trips is what this is about...OBVIOUSLY if I was out of turn they would not have filled it the first time...Go away you bother me...Wine is Good...Lmao
First I am not your Honey...And I am educated...You make tops 12.00 an hour...They did fill the prescription on the vacation over ride...it was when we went back they had the second issue because we complained about them...Your a very sensitive person...you are the type of person that can dish out but has a hard time taking it...I find you amusing...let's see what you come up with next...Probably some more insults that just reflect your own being...Have a nice day...creeper
Looks like you are the one with attitude...You need to read up on vacation overrides...Miss Certified Pharmacy Tech...I am glad not to grace CVS with my presence...Their loss...You seem to have a problem with difference of opinion...You would fit right in CVS Pharmacy...You should go apply...I have remained civil to you on this board...go creep somewhere else with your big title which doesn't pay that much...You don't impress me...
Looks like you are on a power trip...You don't know what you are talking about...You don't comprehend...Please go away and comment on someone else's issue...I wondered how long it would take you to insult me...Once again have a nice day...oh you need to read up on vacation overrides also miss professional know it all...
Good for you my neighbor is also...looks like you need to have the last word...You are still missing the point...Nasty..Rude..power trips...that is the employees at CVS Pharmacy...Have a nice day...
We did not get the prescription filled at someone's expense...It was due to get filled...It was only 2 days early...You are acting as though this is illegal...Once again if CVS did not want to fill this they could have politely said no and not treat us like Thugs...You are missing the point...everything was legit...they were completely unprofessional...Look at this complaint board...I am not the only one upset with their Pharmacy service...I am done discussing this issue with you...find someone else's complaint to pass your judgement on
You are missing the point...We were legit for the fill...we are complaining about the treatment ...We went to Walgreens and handed the prescription to the Pharmacist there and no problem...No 5th degree just handed the insurance card gave information and that was it...So I guess those people weren't on a power trip...And their intake clerk was Friendly...End of Story...CVS needs to check on their employees who represent them...They lost my family's business and some of our friends that experienced the same treatment...These people are clearly not happy with their selves and take their aggressive behavior out on the Public...
Oh and by the way the DEA has nothing to say about somebodies condition and what they take if it is legit...The Doctor is the one that has to answer to the DEA... I see that this Pharmacy is MESSED UP... that is why we will not be going back to them period...AND there are several people that I have talked to since then and they have told me of their experiences with CVS on just regular medicine on how they either screwed up the presciption and gave them the 5th degree on why they went other places to have a prescription filled and it wasn't even a controlled substance...You go there...and I am entitled to air my opinion and what has happened to us...We were embarrassed and made out like we were hostile people...Look at the number of complaints on this board in different places...what does that tell you...everyone is lying? Plus to add they put in the file insulting comments about us...VERY UPSETTING...Why would CVS corporate take those comments out of the file? I would certainly hope they did...
It was not up to the Pharmacist...Our Doctors office gave the ok for early refill and my insurance gave the ok for an early fill since we were going out of town...These people were rude and did not want to comply...If our Doctors office said it is OK then the Pharmacist has nothing to say about it period...Plus they did not like the fact that I called in on them and told about our experience...There is always a polite way to do business...these people are suppose to be professional...They clearly let the little power they have go to their heads...I hope they never get a condition were they need a prescription filled and go through the treatment they dished out...you are in titled to your opinion...but you weren't there and I am sure you would not tolerate this treatment...
It all started with the rude and nasty intake clerk...I requested a vacation override on the presciption to be filled 2 days early because we were going out of town. It is a valid presciption... I tried to give her the information that my insurance company had provided me with to give the pharmacy...This rude and nasty person would not listen...and kept saying that CVS policy is not to fill class 2 narcotics before their fill date...when in fact if the information that I provided her with was not enough she should have told me to have our Doctors office call the pharmacy to give the OK which she did not...Which in turn the Doctors office did call and when I went back to the store I was greeted by a angry Pharmacist saying that I had cussed out her employee which I did not...She was rude with me...and gave miss information saying that this presciption would not be filled...It was filled that day had to wait for it when we went back to pick it up and was charged incorrectly because they had wrong information in file...had to wait another 1/2 hour because was told it was a process to rebill. ...When we finally got the presciption the pharmacist told us that we would have to have it filled only at that store since it was a narcotic...My husband went back the next month to get the presciption filled and all hell broke loose...There were all kinds of notes in the file saying that we cussed at the employees and also that the Doctors office said to only fill at their store which our Doctor's office never said this... The pharmacist refused to fill the presciption and told my husband infront of our Grandchild who is 8 years old to leave the store or she would have the police come and escort him out...We have been valued customers at CVS for years and gave them our business...We are not THUGS trying to get high...And we are not the only ones that have been treated in this manner at this store...There are several other people that have been treated the same way and have not complained about it...I am not going to go in to every detail of the incident but I can tell you that The Presciption is a valid presciption and my husband needs this to get through the day...You say the Pharmacist is the law in the pharmacy well I disagree with you...If you have a presciption that is valid and to be filled she should fill it...She works for CVS not the other way around...ALSO I don't like being made out like a nasty customer when in fact it looks like the people in their pharmacy don't like their Job and don't want to be there... They are there to give the customers prompt and accurate service and correct information not to turn them away and ban them from the store...
Michelle, go back and read what you wrote. There is no misunderstanding it. And talking about how someone must be unhapy you are the one posting this stupid stuff, and if you don't care what I make why did you bring it up?
CS, I think this one thinks we are the same person.
Michelle, I make $17.49, a bit more than your "$12 tops". I think CS is right. You have serious issues.
I understand vacation overrides. I also understand the reason pharamcists say no. As for what I make, I make a good paycheck thank you. I do not live to impress you honey. I would love to see you go to school, get educated, and go to work in a pharmacy.
Sounds like that is also CVS' customers as well. You get the attitude you give. And from your entire post I can see what attitude you gave. I am sure they will all be glad to never deal with you again.
If you google any company there will be complaints so that part of your comment is irrelvant. Having complaints does not make a business bad or wrong. It means most of the time their customers have expectations that they themselves coulc never deliver.
As for passing judgment, I am a certified, licenced and registered pharmacy tech. I am telling you outright you are wrong. No judgment, just plain fact.
You are the one missing the point. Just because you found a pharmacist willing to do the early fill does not make the one who wouldn't wrong. It only means that the one who filled it took the risk. If it came back on him, you would be home free, but he would not. You fail to see past your own wants. The law is not new. It had been all over the news for months before it ever changed. Heck, there were literlaly hundreds of thousands who could not even get hydrocodone, or even Tylenol, due to the changes. The laws change, and thus pharmacies must comply. The fact that you would not blink or care in the least if the law decided your doctor was wrong in approving the early fill and held your pharmacist liable disgusts me. Because I know you would not care.
I am glad you got your medication. But I am furious that you got it at the expense of a board certified, doctor of pharmacy, who knows more about the drugs you take than the doctor who prescribes them. Why don't ou ask your doctor sometime how much of a kickback he gets for the drugs he recommends. You might be surprised at the response.
Michelle, your doctor does not control the pharmacy, and your doctor is not the one who will get the fine and the handcuffs. Your pharmacist will. It sure is up to the pharmacist. What part of the law, and pharmacist legal resposibility are you missing? You are welcome to call the state board of pharmacy and ask them if the pharmacist has the right to refuse an early fill on a narcotic. They will tell you emphatically yes, that a pharmacist has the legal right, and responsibility to refuse any script for any reason. With narcotics, the DEA and the federal government decide when you can fill a script. And it is exactly, to the date, with very few exceptions, the date of the last fill.
You can air your opinion all you want. And I can refute it with facts. And your pharmacist can continue protecting himself.
"kept saying that CVS policy is not to fill class 2 narcotics before their fill date"
That is all that needed to be said. As I stated, the pharmacist is permitted, by law, to refuse any narcotic for any reason. Filling early would apply. It does not matter how long you have been a customer. The DEA, the federal government, and the FDA have cracked down on pharmacies in relation to filling narcotics. The restrictions have become extreme, and you will find that every pharmacy will now treat narcotics more carefully than they did before. It sucks, but that is how it is. My husband takes a narcotic for pain and we have the same issue, and I work in a pharmacy. There is nothing you can do about it, other than complain to the DEA about it. Which will get you nowhere.
So tell the rest of the story. Every pharmacist, by law, has the right, and obligation, to refuse to fill any script for a controlled substance that they fill is either false, incorrect, or not valid. The pharmacist is the law in the pharmacy, and neither their store manager, nor their home office, has any control over that area of the store. The state and federal law does.

I have had no problems with this store until the last 3 months. I don't know what you are doing with your help but I think you choice of help in the last three months has gone to poop. a few month ago I went to pick up rx's waited 45 minutes in the drive through to get my rx and still was waiting I went in and still had to wait, today 7/28/2016 I went at 11:30 dropped off a rx to be filled and then was told if I come back at 3pm or after it would be ready, I came back at 4:30 still wasn't ready. I asked the man that waited on me if I came back at 5:3o would it be ready he said yes. I came back at 6:15 it still wasn't ready... so yes I am so angry right now, they were supposed to get all my rx's lined up so I am not going there every week 2-3 times a week you would think after 3-4 months it would be done, wrong! I think my time is a valuable as yours and I would like for these folks to get there act together. thank you.
Imagine this scenario: You are in line waiting for your script to be filled, and an hour later they are not filling yours but the ones who call in or order online. Would you be happy about them ignoring the person in front of them, or would you be demanding they fill yours since you are there? That is exactly what happens in a busy pharmacy. And CVS is a busy pharmacy. ALL busy pharmacies have great intentions. But the customer in front of them takes precedence over one on the phone. What you should be doing is asking to be put on a phone notice. That way you are never at the mercy of all those people who come before you.
prescription
It took 4 visits to fill a blood pressure med. then on another visit I waited in store being the only one in line while the pharmacists were gabbing and the clerk waited on 4 cars in the drive thru.
When they finally got to me they said they didn't have the Meds and I was advised to call all the stores in the area looking for it. I never had a problem with pharmacy R. My company mandates I use CVS. A far inferior store. What ever happened to if you like your pharmacy you can keep your pharmacy.
One, common medications run out faster. Two, just because you were the only one in line does not mean all those ahead of you, in the drive thru and phoned in scripts don't come first.
online orders
I placed an order online in June 2016. They never shipped all items that online said were available. Then shipped the wrong product. Took an hour on the phone the first time to get them to send a call tag for the wrong item. Then I had to haggle on the phone two weeks later through three different chain of commands to get my credit for that wrong item sent! Their online order process is the most unprofessional experience I've ever dealt with! I will never place an online order with them again! Unbelievable! Not worth the time... 2 hrs of on hold to fix the mistakes they made!
prescriptions
June 30th 2016 Tucson AZ.
CVS Pharmacy (7901 East Golf Links Road, Tucson, AZ 85730)
I Was Sentenced, a long time customer to 72 hours of stress, withdrawals and pain by CVS
not filling and refusing to fill prescription even with my Doctors approval that was called in for my prescription on June 30th 2016.
On 06/27/16. I call My Doctor they say never heard from pharmacy they in turn call pharmacy to OK prescription.
On 06/30/2016 pharmacy calls me tells me they cannot fill my prescription until 07/03/2016 because I should have 2 more pills from my last prescription left ( last scrip was for 90 days and the dosage is very small). I tell her that I did not empty the bottle and count them when I got the script they must have shorted me two pills. I asked what am I suppose to do for the next 72 hours before I will have a pill to take on Sunday night at 9:30 the time that I take my one pill each night the pill makes my mind slow down and then I am able to sleep.( I am 65 years old, have never abused or used any kind of drugs. Her reply was you are missing 2 pills she cannot refill till Sunday July the 3rd its my Problem not hers. She made me feel like I took the two pills stood on the corner and sold them like a drug dealer, I believe they shorted me the 2 pills. On Thursday night I took my last pill By Friday night 9:30 pm it had been 24 hours since my last pill. With no pill to take I was on my way to many hours without sleep. By Saturday afternoon I was tired cant sleep and withdrawals were starting to happen my body hurt, my head everywhere hurt. Without sleep I could not eat like I do in my regular routine I tried but diarrhea started and I started to o really feel deprived and confused with where I was and what I was doing. By Saturday evening at 9:30 and looking at a long night ahead I found some over the counter sleeping pills and decided I had no choice but to try them along with a muscle relaxer(it did not work just made things worse). It is now Sunday Morning 07/03/2016 and I am still awake and am still 12 hours away from 9:30 pm when I can take my next pill and hopefully get to go to sleep, providing the Pharmacy has them ready. Monday is July the 4th our 45th wedding anniversary. I hope by then I am feeling better, we canceled our trip to Vegas and will be staying home. Today if I get my prescription filled I will ask them to open them and count each pill so I know I wont have to go through this again. eMy plans on Wednesday my Doctor will b back in her office and I will try and make an appointment with her to make sure I am OK with the stress which I am suppose to avoids at all cost I do not want to take the chance of a possible stoke happening again, Then I plan to contact an attorney and see if I have any grounds to make this big pharmacy that play God with peoples lives pay for the pain I have gone through in the last 72 hours. I will be giving a copy of this letter to the manager of the pharmacy today and will email a copy to the corporate office, Better Business Office, and posting this on social media.(Face book. Twitter. ect.) I strongly recommend to all my senior citizen friends to avoid using CVS. They only care about your money not their customers. Ok just got call from CVS 10:am Sunday morning saying my prescription can not be filled until July 31st. Went there pissed they filled the prescription. I had them count the pills. For 25 years I was an entertainer and well know personality I told the young lady I will be contacting the news stations, newspapers, ect so that this story would go out nationwide and local as much as I can make it happen. I set here dazed that this large company would treat a long time customer in this manner. Whoever it was that talked to me on Thursday should be released of her duty, your company is here to serve me and the public not to play God with my life or anyone else. I will never use CVS again and will never recommend them to anyone, I will make a point to alert everyone awful way you treat your customers. Kennith Tackett
Dear why, are you saying her doctor is a quack?
Complain all you want to whatever media avenue you choose. Narcotics are federally regulated. If you fill on a specific date, your next fill is exactly the same time the next fill. Blame yourself.
emergency room prescription refused
I had to go to the emergency room at West Kendall Baptist Emergency Department where I was taken by Miami-Dade County
EMT personnel with a badly locked knee. The attending physician prescribed Percocet 5mg/325mg every 6 hours, (10).
The prescription was written by Anay Castro, DEA # [protected].
The prescription was refused by the CVS pharmacist! When I asked why he stated something about there being a problem with the prescribing physician and said RUDELY that he could not provide any further information.
My husband complained to the store manager who said something about drug interactioins and it was for my protection BUT the assistant pharmacist told us candidly, until she was told to hush by the rude pharmacist who threw a prescription at her that too many drug abusers trying to buy drugs such as percocet at that particular store...So rather than call the hospital to verify the prescription we were profiled and refused the meds.
We bought the Ibuprofen also on the doctor's prescription and went across the street to Walgreen's Pharmacy where the prescription for Percocet was filled with no issues, no rudeness, and a smile.
I'll transfer my monthly prescriptions on Monday and make sure to inform family and friends why I will no longer be a CVS customer
If you have never filled prescriptions there AND/OR never filled a narcotic, no pharmacy will fill it. Take it to the hospital pharmacy and they will fill it.
If there is an issue with the attending's DEA # then he should not be writing narocos and no pharmacy, even the hospital, with fill it. Thanks to the DEA cracking down on pharmacy shoppers, drug pushers and takers, and criminal physicians and pharmacies, this is the result.
No pharmacist will risk his license and jail time. This situation has been on the news multiple times in the last several years, and 3 years ago many pharmacists with CVS and other pharmacies were arrested for just that.

This is the letter I had sent to the cooperation... Date of incident May 23, 2016...
Let me discuss my recent trip to CVS, needless to say, I am NOT a HAPPY customer! I wanted to do photos and receive them in seconds but a cashier told me it would take awhile due to a large order. No problem, thank you for the heads up. I ended up doing the one hour photos. So I finished my errands and went back before my doctors appointment (which I ended up being late for due to this problem) and handed the cashier my slip. This was the same cashier who told me earlier that they had a large order before me. The cashier told me she couldn't find my photos. She called the manager over because he had the order up on the screen earlier. Cashier looked through the large order of photos and couldn't find mine. They called over the other two cashiers working as well at this point. All are going through the large order and my photos are no where to be found! The manager reprints my photos and said I know they printed but don't know where they are. One cashier fesses up and said someone picked up a small order from today of 29 pictures. No one looked through the pictures. The manager stated that they must have the missing pictures. He called the customer and left a voicemail. Now what I am EXTREMELY concerned about is that every single photo was of my 2 month old daughter, that I don't even post pictures on social media, and now a complete STRANGER has pictures of my VERY young daughter! I'm also concerned about if this STRANGER notices they have these pictures, what will they do with them? Just throw them out, so another person can see them? My husband and I are debating if we want to sue, because this is very serious. We are talking about a 2 month old subjected to harm! This could have and should have been avoided. I am extremely livid about this situation!

central florida alert! threats from cvs rph.
Hello,
Due to some pretty much lifelong health problems i have dealt with many pharmacy's, from the small mom and pop places or like the medicine shoppe as well as all of the corporate or large "chain" drugstores. I have been blessed with good insurance and have always enjoyed the whole experience of getting to know the techs cashiers and all people who work in just about every store that I have used. I have never had a problem or incident at any store anywhere at anytime, Until 5/17/2016. I Timothy Nichol do state that the following occurred at CVS Store#3518 at approximately 6:00pm EST. I had been to my doctor that day and was prescribed some medication my insurance didn't cover my friend and hard working tech Cindy immediately called and informed me of the situation. Its was no problem as I simply went back to my Dr.s office and let them know so that a change could be made to something that was covered. No problem great service as i have always had in the 3 yrs dealing with this store. I normally wouldn't have bothered even traveling from home to the store until the next day as its a 15 mile trip, on this day however I was looking after a sick friend and had to travel to Palatka. I stopped at the store and saw a tech I know who calls me by name, she was working the drop off computer and we began to chat, I had nothing to drop off as my medicine had been faxed or called in at around 3 that afternoon. It was casual chat, as i looked around i noticed a fill in RPH working the drive thru, another RPH Ben the pharmacy manager actually out of his usual station working the baskets as I call them and making prescriptions. The chairs were full with 3 people waiting, there was one sweet girl working the check-out register and that was it. The drive thru was quite busy, with two lanes going and the fill in pharmacist was working extra hard. I asked the girl i was talking to what was going on, as normally there are the staff I mentioned plus two techs working the baskets and the pharmacy manager never leaves his station/telephone/safe/ect. She informed me that some employees were out and that what they had was the best they could do. Still I understand, no problem. I have seen 5 RPHs thru this store in my time there as well as observed the working conditions and how CVS treats its employees. Basically working them like slaves for close to nothing as far as wages go. The fill in RPH was ease dropping on mine and the techs conversation he thought assumed or whatever, that we were talking about him that was NOT the case, he came over close to where we were to get something out of a drawer and turned to me in a raised voice said "do you think this is funny" I responded with "no sir I do not think its funny, and I am not talking to you, Im speaking to my friend". The situation escalated from there as he continued his aggressive actions and words towards me in a raised tone that everyone in the store could hear. The pharmacy manager then stepped in and asked the fill in RPH to stop, I have never seen this man before he doesn't know me I dont know him. The next thing out of his mouth was"I get off at 9pm why dont you come back then" At that time i was so angry and embarrassed I told him that that would be fine, I also told him to bring his gun with him. I understand this is unacceptable behavior on my behalf as well. Your employee who is licensed by the state of Florida to dispense controlled substances loses it on me and explodes when the whole time the idea was a fantasy in his mind or paranoia call it what you wish. We dont operate like that here in central Florida. I was so upset i was up all night, at 9am I called and spoke with one of your best employees Cindy. I simply asked if she had heard what happened the answer was yes. I told her I loved her and thanked her for the many times she has sorted out complicated issues for me. I asked that my account be moved to winn-dixie it was. I will follow up with the state of Florida as well as my attorney and we will go from there. Thank-you for your time
Timothy Nichol
And I do love her she is a great friend and my former neighbor. She works her tail off for this outfit. She is a kind and caring person. Married as well, I can still love her as a great friend.
Key word "pretty sure" I never moved stil use the same store to this date. FYI that would be CVS..
Emotionally needy is right...he told the pharmacy tech he loved her...pretty sure she was happy to move him over to Winn Dixie
Not sure about the not sleeping over a raised voice comment, but I will take your word for it. BTW the pharmacy manger was Not out of line, he was spot on.
Thanx Bill...
The person making this complaint seems to be emotionally needy and over-reactive. Not sleeping all night over a raised voice? On the other hand, the RPH and the pharmacy manager were out of order but all the complainant needed to do was say, "Take it easy fellers." All in all, this is a rapidly swelling molehill.
I am scared to death.
Why don't you be a man and talk your message crap on this page? Scared?
I will keep that in mind.
Lol. Not employed by CVS. But please have me arrested.
automated refills called in a week ago, just filled after customers shows-up, to pick it up.
Here in This CVS pharmacy, I've filling my prescription for a few years. They were on time and friendly in their first year. But this past couple of years they become lousy and unbelievable. I personally experienced and observed people waiting in line for few minutes hoping that they can pick-up their called in prescription. But met with anger and frustration just to be told by the pharmacy staff, that their prescription is not ready but it will be in 10 to 15 minutes. WHAT A TACTIC AND ###. I don't know where this practice came from? FROM STORE OR CORPORATE MANAGEMENT. They want customers to wait around, so they have time to shop or browse around the store. I just experienced it today. Me and my wife drop by the drive thru window to pick-up the prescription of our daughter, and just to be told it's not ready but it will be in 10 or 15 minutes, maybe as the pharmacy staff word. We told him that it been called in a week ago. Staff gave us a very rude answer. "I'm just filling up today because there is a called-in, etc. etc.. Told him we will be just coming back. But as soon as we got home we received a call that the prescription is ready. WHAT A #*$#@## WASTE OF TIME, GAS AND EFFORT. Is this how you treat your LOYAL customers? #$%$# you all if it is. Right now I'm thinking of starting a campaign to boycott your pharmacy and store starting with my relatives and friends. YES I am mad and I'm going to do something about it. IF YOU DON'T CHANGE YOUR PRACTICE.
No. They want customers to wait their turn. When you walk into a pharmacy to fill your script, do you want to wait in line for 30 minutes to an hour while they fill 10 call ins before you, who is standing in front of them? Customers in the store take precedence over those on the phone.

After a rough day, thinking cvs would have a good deal on vodka and thinking I had found such deal my experience checking out was so horriffic I will never go back and will continue to tell anyone and everyone to keep my experience in mind if they are in any cvs store.
Paying close attention to the most dishonest "sale price" shelf advertising I brought my purchase to the counter. holding up the line which was suddenly much longer I handed the cashier a $20 bill, she remained waiting for me when I asked what the change amount was and she said.03 cents, I handed her the.03 and she asked for $10 more, and without thinking I handed her another $20 bill, she gave me two $5 bills. realizing immediately something was very wrong I asked what I had been charged she responded $28. thinking someone had not made changes to the computerized product information as the signage indicated she disputed my correctness, at which point I asked for a cancellation and refund immediately. she siad she had to call the manager, I said great and she asked me to step aside to wait for him. i'd brought up the shelf signs, which he also disputed, walked me over to the register she was at for her to refund my money when another young girl stepped in to start using this register, the original cashier had opened a new register and she told the new cashier to refund my money. this girl refunded me a total of $18.30 when I said, no, I gave the other girl two $20 bills and she had handed me only two $5 bills as change. then the manager was called again and agreed to count the drawer which I was fine with, certain it would be $10 over, which he proceeded to inform me that it was not. I showed him the receipt where it clearly showed cash taken in was $40 and even at $18.30 I was still owed my $10 to which he informed me I would have to return to speak to the gm for anything further to take place.
The entire experience was dumbfounding and wrought with questionable practices and was just the thing to leave such a horrible taste in my mouth the immediate feeling from me was to get away from this place and these people and find another place to make my purchase and listen to my story which would explain the disturbed look on my face and why I couldn't stop shaking my head and saying "I can't freaking believe what just happened!"
I have since had two people i've come across who have had equally nasty experiences at cvs and who choose not to shop there. I myself will go anywhere but there and only now feel up to the task of bringing up the incident to management. a reimbursement I feel is not likely. going through dishonest unprofessional employees further disputing the facts, when they could have taken my name and phone number and had someone in charge contact me for resolution. not refunding my $10 is an insult, they will loose much more in the end as I will make sure.
First thing, never, ever removed a shelf sign. That is not your proof of a wrong price. Once you remove the sigange, your proof vanishes with you.
manager service
I am writing to express my outrage and equal concern about the capacity of adequate decision making, leadership, and empathy on the part of an individual hired as a Manager at your CVS Hollywood Galaxy store- her name is Karine.
My colleagues and I who are from New York attended a wedding in Costa Mesa on Sunday, May 8th. Naturally, we used the remainder of the day to visit friends in Glendale and sightsee and patronage several business on and around the Hollywood strip. One of my colleagues is 8 months pregnant needed to use the restroom. We politely asked the Manager on duty, Karine, if she alone could use it. Not only did Karine refuse a very pregnant woman the restroom, she also gave an extremely rude and stark comment that shocked our group to the core. After being denied access to the restroom my other colleague asked, "will you really send a very pregnant woman across many streets to another restroom?" Karine answered, "it looks like she needs to walk!"
Not only does Karine not embody the CVS brand of service, she is an offensive representation for CVS, the entire Hollywood Galaxy branch and the team she leads. She is also a disgrace to women. She had no empathy or concern for another human being/customer. Never has my colleague been made to feel so ashamed for being a pregnant woman until visiting CVS.
I truly hope and expect that this message gets forwarded through the proper channels and gains the attention it deserves. I equally expect that Karine gets the maximum retribution as penalty for her repulsive behavior. How can she teach quality customer service and lead her staff in service application efficiently if she has no idea how to treat people herself?
After spending some time around the Hollywood area after dark, I understand that it is a challenging area, however, every customer should be treated with respect and courtesy as per the CVS brand. Even if there was a bathroom regulation in place, which we were not made aware of, policy should be exercised with good judgement, civility and case by case. At all times, vulnerable populations should be shown "extra care".
I can be reached at [protected]@me.com or [protected].
Thank you,
Tiffany Bailey
Loyal CVS customer
Every CVS has a public restroom (Men AND Women's) so there is no need to ask if you can use it. I find this hard to believe.
