dtv converter scam
A few weeks ago CVS had a one day sale on a tv converter box. The price was $40 dollars, so with the DTV Coupon it would be free. My mother in law, her sister and mother all went to different CVS's and none of them had the boxes in stock or would give out rain checks. My mother in law returned to the CVS a few days later, and the boxes were in stock and at...

I purchased Excedrin and presented coupon printed from http://www.excedrin.com/offers. shtml directly, the cashier asked if it was copied. I said no that it was printed from internet. He called a manager Javed Khan, whom came and said that the coupon was copied since was not in color. I told him coupon prints from website does not have to be colored, depends on printer. Then he told me that I used copied $3 off CVS brand coupon (expired 1/17/2009) a month ago. I asked him if he has any receipt or proof that it was me and not someone else. He said that he was there when I used it. I told him that today is the first time I meet him. Also, if he was there then why did he allow the cashier take the "copied" coupon? The $3 off CVS brand coupons were in The Beacon newspapers which were free in front of CVS, why would I bother making copies. Not sure how many complaints against a manager before CVS fires him because this not the first time.

my job
I went on maternity leave to have my baby girl in August. About 6 weeks later, I called in to see when I was to return to work, and I was told that I had been taken out of the system. I was sent no notification of any kind and left without my health benefits. I need to speak to someone about this and get this matter settled. Thank you.

Pepsi was advertised 5 / 8 packs for $10.00 I bought 10 / 8 packs & 1 gallon of milk Total would have been $23.39 The cashier refused to take my extra care/coupon of $4.oo good towards a $20.00 or more purchase. She said because the Pepsi was a sales item she must ring it on 2 seperate slips, therefore my ExtraCare/Coupon would not qualify for the $4.00 discount

Monday, 11/20/08 I picked up my refill for Zolpidem Tartrate, 10 MG Tabtev (Generic brand for Ambien). When I checked the container later in the evening I found, not the small white pill I usually get but a larger purple pill with MZ2 stamped on it. The pill I usually get is a round shaped white tablet imprinted with 93 on the front and 74 on the back. The...

I have had multiple problems with this store and have complained to the regional manager before in regard to misfilled prescriptions, missing prescriptions. On November 18, 2008 the store labeled the bottle as containing 60 tablets - which is what the prescription called for. The bottle contained only 30. Plus, at the time of pickup, I had someone else pick...

id like to make a report against cvs pharmacy 15 colonial place mt vernon ny 10553. i had a perscription and called in a refill when i picked up my meds i was given something different than what my original perscription looked like also there was a sticker with another patients name under the sticker with my name without realizing the rx numbers didnt match i called cvs to inquire. they told me to call my dr if this medication doesnt work and have her find me a new medication. they also told me albutural had been discontinued! which is far from true i dont know what to do from here im highly upset and this medication does not help the way my origional medicine did . this is supposed to be a rescue inhalier. my rx number was 633336 the rx they gave me was 637552. LETS NOT FORGET TO MENTION THEY BROKE CONFIDENTIALITY BECAUSE I NOW KNOW THE PREVIOUS PATIENTS NAME AND ADDRESS AS WELL AS HIS PHONE NUMBER DOCTORS NAME AND DIAGNOSIS! THIS IS UNREAL! MY SCRIPT WAS FROM ARMSTRONG PHARMACUTICALS I CHECKED THE WEBSITE THEIR PRODUCT WAS NEVER DISCONTINUED! THE PRODUCT THEY GAVE ME IS PROVENTIL HFA. EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE BOTH SUPPOSEDLY FORMS OF ALBUTERAL ONE IS STRONGER THAN THE OTHER. THIS MEDICATION CAUSES DIZZINESS MY MEDICATION HAD NO SIDE EFFECTS THAT CAUSED ANY TRUE PROBLEMS! I HAVE TO LITERALLY TAKE 6 PUFFS WHEN IM ONLY SUPPOSED TO TAKE TWO AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK! when i complained to the store they told me simply go see my doc and have her perscribe something else! why? she gave me 6 refills! they screwed up and refuse to admit it

Albuterol Inhaler has not been available for a few years now, it only comes as proventil hfa, proair, ventolin hfa
I am sorry to say that CVS was with-in their rights. Federal law prohibited the continuing of the origional armstrong albuterol format & was required to change over to HFA inhalors. I worked in the pharmacy and talked with many people about the switch. They were wrong on 2 accounts, the prior lable shouod have been removed (however state law prevents any drug from leaving the pharmacy area (meaning under direct supervision of a phamracist) and being returned, the label was most likely someone had already gotten their med and had called in another refill. the 2nd mistake was not talking with you & explaining the changes that were going on NATIONALLY. While you may have been or are able to find some stores that still stock the armstrong alboterol, you will not find it for long, it was not discontinued, just forced off the shelf.

On October 23rd, I was in CVS for a prescription to be filled. I also bought other items along with prescription. Well, I received a call from CVS this past weekend, November 1st. For many years I have been using the CVS brand dental adhesive. For several months now I have been unable to buy it. Three of your stores near me have been continuously out of stock. When I complained about this to one store manager she said that the store was new and that they hadn't figured out what sold and what didn't. Obviously you can't sell a product if you don't put it out on the shelves.
I wonder what is going on here because I observed the same no stock condition in one of your stores in Manhattan also. There is always plenty of Fixodent.
Walmart sells their house brand and I have stocked up for several months so I don't have a problem but maybe your company does.
overcharge
My debit card was charged twice for a photo service. The first time the employee said it did not go throught, and I was charge for $ 32.97 because I request a cash back of $5.00. The second time I was charge for $27.97 .
I spoke to the store manager and she asked me to call the phone number on the back of my CVS card to solve the problem because she can not do anything about it. I called the number 1-800-shop CVS and the recording message did not give me any options to speak with a customer service representative.
Now I ended paying almost $60.00 for a service that really was $28.00 what is completely unfair and expensive.
There is a way for any member of management to solve this. They have that option in the office computer. as well as your bank statement, which you can get over the phone. Don't ever let an employee tell you there's nothing they can do about it, unless they've checked their computers. A member of management will have to do it, but it's called "electronic journal". it records every transaction from every register and every cashier from then to a week prior. Otherwise, you could go to your bank and get a print out of the transactions, and bring it back in, and they could take it from there.

Dear Sirs
I have been going to Eckerd drugs, now CVS pharmacy for 30 years. I am 49 years old and normally deal with Paul Ruffner who I have known at least 30 years. I am on medicaid and in a major lawsuit with my health. I have never had a problem with Paul Ruffner. This Nancy lady I have had a problem with.
She got in an argument with a Walgreens pharmacist over me when I wanted one of my prescriptions transferred because it was easier for me to get at the time and closer to home. the Walgreens pharmacist told me she was unprofessional and didn't do her job right. Since that time Nancy has made life miserable for me. She put in the computer that no one but Paul could fill my prescriptions.
Most recently when I went to fill a prescription at the Cleveland pharmacy, Jeff said that the Prozac for august couldn't be filled because it was already run. Not true. Byron had loaned me 9 and I had the prescription which called for 90. I called Conroe and Chris (the pharmacist on duty) denied anything had been run for August saying the last Prozac was filled in June. Sorry CVS is lying as I had just got my August prescription and was told by Jeff the pharmacist in Cleveland Texas that it had been run in Conroe which Chris denies.
Nancy told my Dr I doctor shopped and sent them a printout of my med's without my permission. They (my doctors) know it is a lie that I am a silicon breast implant patient and also broke my arm and tore my shoulder, not to mention having a torn meniscus in my left knee as well as having a neurosurgeon which I need surgery on. In the course of my illness I have had various illnesses including pleurisy among other things this Nancy knows nothing about, but Paul Ruffner does. I trust him but was told he was on vacation.
I was going to a pain clinic on 1960 but this Nancy told a girl to tell me my doctor at the time was under investigation when he was not and would not fill my medication because it came from Houston, so I just found a doctor who not only is local and can handle my pain but will be doing 3 of my surgeries. I was told that CVS pharmacy will no longer fill my prescriptions, this per Nancy and apparently Jeff.
Don't worry I will be contacting the FDA as well as the Attorney General. I will no longer use your pharmacy, but I am suing you for ignoring the Hippocratic oath among other things as well as some of your staff talking to family members I did not give permission for, and for flat out fraud as Jeff in CVS in Cleveland said the Conroe store ran my august Prozac and Chris says the last Prozac run for me was in June. My sister picked up 9 loaners from Byron and I have the bottle, so not only are you people unprofessional and you ignore the Hippocratic oath, but you lie as well.
Walgreens will be testifying to Nancy's unprofessional behavior which has ended in a nightmare for me when I go to pick up medication and she puts in computer only Paul can fill. and to add insult to injury, without my permission she talks to my sister Lisa about me and says I am a liar. I believe this is taped. so much for the Hippocratic oath huh? I can assure you as I am in a lawsuit with my health, this will be brought to the attention of my Attorneys, and already has been. Also how many other people have been done this way throughout the United States in various CVS stores? I will be looking on the Internet to see if there are similar stories to mine, and I bet there are, You have not heard the last of this.
Regarding my pain medication, this will be addressed as well. Also in the past when this Nancy has filled some Xanax for me, quantity 60, 10 were missing. Paul Ruffner took care of that. He deserves a raise. I will see CVS in court over this and her antics not to mention violating my Hippocratic Oath. I will also be searching online for others who have had this same experience as I have had with your company.

Please have cvs credit unauthorized charges and send letter to bank so they will remove negative credit entries. My son allowed meto use his debit card in an emergency situation. When the dr. placed new scripts CVS used the debit card vw/o my authorization.
Caremark sucks, they violate any sense of ethics and legally I'm sure they border on the negative but who is going to help you in a republican set up society. These idiots have carte blanche to do anything they want including violating your rights. Just quit using them and if everyone would get a clue that making complaints on a meaningless board like this is fruitless and just to quit using the idiots they would eventually feel the impact. Unfortunately the government would just bail them out so just chill, get a new pharmacy and take your pills from the "new nice pharmacy man or woman" and live your life with happiness. Dwelling is just going to get you more upset and they win. Fight back...your weapon? Don't give a [censor]. It's not worth your health and sanity. Flowers for everyone and go get a medical marijuana card...that really helps...(exhale) :)
Believe it or not, I have similar problem with CVS.
My husband told me that he ran out of medicine the last minute. It was late on Sunday; so I went to nearest RiteAid drug store to ask the pharmacist to transfer the prescription from CVS to RiteAid. Someone at CVS told the RiteAid pharmacist that the prescription has been transferred out already. I know CVS was lying because I am the one refill and pick the prescription for him. That is why his prescription was filed in CVS near my office. I did not want to drive all the way to CVS near my work since it was 25 miles away from home. It was late and my husband in need of the medicine.
I have to argue with CVS and question CVS pharmacy technician exactly when was the prescription tranderred out and where was transferred to.
CVS finally transferred the prescription to RideAid because they could not give the answer.
Hey Idiot, the hippocratic oath has nothing to do with privacy. I think what you are refering to is HIPAA. And as a matter of fact, by allowing you prescription to be filled, you are giving the pharmacy the right to contact your physician regarding your health issues. Now whether or not they discussed information with your sister is a whole other issue. I think if you were to take the right steps with the pharmacy, you could get this issue resolved. But of course like most americans you are looking for a quick buck with a law suit.

Read full review of CVS and 2 commentscharged double what I owed
I had my prescription for Restasis filled at a CVS, and when dropping off with the pharmacy staff I double checked with them (to make sure they knew) that 2 boxes is actually 1-30 day supply and it is only 1 co-pay. He confirmed with me, 1 co-pay for 2 boxes. I got home and realized they charged me charged me twice what I owed for the Restasis. My boxes had 2 stickers on it. The sticker covered up was for the quantity of 60 vials- which is one co-pay. They sticker placed on top was a quantity of 62. Because the quantity was "in the next tier up" past the 30 day prescription- it went to double the co-pay. In the past- I paid 1 co-pay for 2 boxes- no matter the quantity. I find it questionable that pharmacies were just investigated and paid billions for scamming the government out of money on medicaid, and now CVS is "accidentally" placing an incorrect quantity sticker on my prescriptions to double charge me! I called and had to drive back to get my refund. I told the pharmacist that it sounded very shady. Her and the cashier then got very quiet, gave me my refund and said nothing more. I find that even more shady! Luckily my co-pay is only $9, but from my understanding those who have to pay out of pocket- its almost $90 a box! That's robbery.

I work at a CVS. It sounds like you did nothing wrong, but you must realize how epidemic coupon fraud is...companies loose millions every year b/c people make copies of coupons and then expect to use them like an original.
Hello,
I am a shift supervisor for CVS and even though I do not work for store #1024 I do apologize. There is a section on CVS.com under contact us for complaints. I suggest that you use that to send in this complaint as it will be required for the store manager to take action. All complaints that are sent via the web site are sent to the corporate office, the district manager and the store manager with in 48 hours. As for the coupon, I can understand both sides. We do have a big problem with them being copied. However, if it is a CVS coupon the register will say it is not valid. You are 100% correct when you say that it does not have to be color, but color does help us. Now if you were trying to use 2 coupons for one item that would create a different problem as you are allowed only one coupon per item, but this isn't the case with you.
