My daughter and i went to Dave and Buster's in LR, AR today and I didn't know what the original prices for the games were, so I automatically assumed that we were only paying half price. so we played and had a great time, only to discover that we were playing full price. And that they were only doing half price games 10am-12pm during summer. We didn't get to take advantage of the offer. There was not proper signage to show the summer hours. Very disappointed. I just discovered that while logging into my db account and seeing the ad. I was excited and was even more happy seeing my daughter Beam as she played all of the games. Finding this out is really discouraging. I don't work, so I was using Wednesday as our opportunity to play and get more play for the little bit that we had. Just want to let you guys know that proper signs need to be in place so they are seen better. Thanks for hearing me out. Have a great day!

We traveled 40 minutes to go to the Orland Park is location. First off terrible hostess(young African American girl) ... poor demeanor, poor customer service. Got the impression as if we were bothering her by checking in. Second off got seated Waited for 25 minutes weren't even acknowledged. Went up to the hostess again no apology What so ever no smile no customer service . Waited again for a manager ( Caucasian red head )t hey had to call the manager twice waited for her for another 15 minutes for her to come out . Only person to acknowledge us was a tall African male waitress (terry) whom ended up being our waiter.come to find out the hostess seated us in a section with no waiter... no apology from hostess of course not with her attitude.manager offered half of our check and seemed like she didn't care and was in a rush and glad to be done having to deal with us...won't be back

We walked up to be seated and all 6 or more unkempt hosts were talking hugging and holding on each other as if they we in a high school lobby. It took awhile before any of them noticed us and we had to say something first. I used to be a waitress so I understand standing bored sucks but come on be professional this is a job! Then we were given a menu that was completely stuck together and couldn't open to read the first page. I was very happy with the food however the waitress brought our app out with our food and forgot our drink order. All together it seems like a [censored] show thrown together pretending to be a corporate restaurant. So disappointed. Probably won't come back unless forced... management step it up you can see it everywhere on the floor!

So my son had a party here before 2 years ago and everything was great, I had over 25 kids and private room. He loved it so much decided to try it again this year which was 4/25/19. Horrible, the host didn't know who I was I had to go introduce myself to him as the parent because he kept going to one of the other parents for everything as if she was the one paying for my son party. The food was horrible meaning burgers was hard and cold, the chicken bites were hard and cold only thing the ate was the pizza bites. I told the manger about it and only thing should could say about it was hmmm well this is our good cook. Really! That's all she said I walked away. I get it this party compared to last time was cheaper but that shouldn't have nothing to do with anything. I should've had a great party as I did when I spent close to 1000 bucks. There is more but I'm just getting more angry. I really wanted to reach out to corporate because I dont want this to happen to anyone else. I will say the kids did enjoy playing the games but was aware that unlimited was not unlimited. Thanks for hearing me out.

Wanted to celebrate with my family and friends over the weekend. The service was extremely difficult to order food, use the restroom or to sit at a table to eat. Manager and team members should develope better communication skills. Bad experience, worst customer service! My family didnt want to stay because of the lack of customer service, and the foul smell that was in the atmosphere.

I called cierra meredith to plan an 80th bd event in st louis for my dad. Our vision was a bar environment watching cardinals baseball game. During initial inquiry I asked about a room to accommodate ~50 people and food options. All email communications — - cierra responded w the tailgate buffet. I stated perfect. She stated the following: the tailgate includes a build-your-own nacho station! With chicken bites. Pizza bites, and bar burgers!
Along with unlimited soda, coffee, and tea for all your guests! With $15 power cards for each guest!
I requested a budget of $1500. Cierra was able to lower the room rental by $100. Later, cierra referred me to lori stahl. Lori contacted me by email to further assist. We discussed extended the room an hour because baseball games are so unpredictable. There was no discussion ever from cierra or lori about 2 packages - one with power cards (the only one proved to me) and one without (not mentioned). Now we are finalizing the contract lori misstated the option of food selections, option for food and beverage to offset cost, and now the power cards! I've spent 3 weeks trying to plan a great 80th bd party for my dad and it's turning sour quick! Please assist! Thanks

I went to Dave N Busters on March 16, 2019 with my 6 year old daughter and three of her friends. We put over 100 on the Dave N Busters card and shortly after a few games became very hungry as I am 7 months pregnant. We tried to get seating but there was a long wait and I was feeling sick so we left to go to the mall part to find food. When we returned to entrance there were 2 men standing outside the restaurant collecting money. I was confused as I didn't know there would be a cover charge to get back in. I explained I knew nothing of the charge and he rudely told me that I couldn't get a refund and that it's 10 to get back in per sign on door. Then a African American lady walks up and says since when is it 10 to get in. The manager smugly tells her "unless your blind, its 10 to get in after 8, and turns her away. I could not believe that he would use a disability to describe his point. I then told him how unprofessional he was and how offensive it would be if there were blind people around and that it's not nice to say. There was another white couple that walked up that he was very polite to. He then tells me that he didn't care and that he was the manger and that I have to pay. I told him I will not pay to ever come back to this place as he has no respect for customers or empathy for people who may have disabilities.
This establishment has no respect for the public and management there needs to be fired as they don't know how to be professional and empathetic towards the public.

On March 3, 2019 I was a AAU event that was held at Dave and Busters (St. Matthews Mall). We ordered food while having a drink in one of the social areas... while the players played games, etc. We had ordered several meals at approximately 2:30. We waited for an entire 1 hour and still the food hadn't came out from the kitchen. Finally we reached a conclusion that it was never going to come out, so all parties cancelled their orders. To wait that long is entirely irresponsible on the managers behalf to make sure customers are not waiting as long as they are to receive food. I talked to the managers there only for them to describe their working environment as chaotic and that they didn't have enough staff to make sure the orders got out at appropriate times. This place was absolutely disorganized and it was clear that all workers were frustrated with the job. We actually had a waitress cry while talking to us due to her feeling bad that we hadn't received our food. She apologized over and over again... its sad because it also affected her tips, etc.
The manager in which I spoke with by the name of Monica Tress (Operations Manager) did not give us a reason why the food wasn't going to come out. She only offered us a $10 game playing card.. lol. What she didn't care about is that we were hungry and ordered food because we wanted to eat. The customer service here is disgusting and should have never opened with this kind of customer experience. Customers were excited about this restaurant/game experience coming to Louisville but now not so many are liking it. I heard complaints coming from all angles about the kitchen. I will further my complaints with BBB... so others will not have to experience the issues our group had. Please discuss what good hospitality means to your Operations Managers... give them the appropriate training tools for appropriate customer service.

We waited over 50 minutes for our meals, in the mean time our server never even checked to see if we needed a drink refill. My sons meal came out incorrect so he had to wait an additional 15 minutes for his meal. Ask for Mgr and he made faces and repeated what I said then, example: an hour to get refills, with pursed lips and raised eyebrows then said he wasn't calling me a liar. I never said he was calling me a liar and asked him to check our ticket time. He took off one meal and gave game cards, I had already purchased game cards with my meal. Left with absolutely no apology. When I asked what took so long was told he didn't have time to research it. Our server was nice, Mgr George was rude. Service overall was terrible.

On Sunday Feb 10th at 11pm. I was waiting for 10 mins at the bar there was a young man and a ladie with a black hair thing on. Not one of them said can I help you when I ask the ladie can I have a diet coke she made me wait 3 mins more and when you she gave me the drink and it happened to be flat. I told her I did not want that and she didnt offer another one or apologies. I come here for a good time not for the food workers to be rude when your thirsty.

I normally am not one to take time out of my day to complain. But I could not let this go. My retail store decided to go to Dave and busters for a Christmas party. We never were greeted. We walked to the back and asked three different bar tenders if someone was going to come and take our order for dinner. NOT ONE PERSON FOR 45 minutes. We deceived to play and spend money as we were starving! Came back and asked the bartender again nicely if someone can please come take care of us because we've been waiting for so long. She gave me the worst attitude and walked away. We left. We had to leave and eat somewhere else. No one cared. Not one person. It was sad because we had kids with us and we couldn't even enjoy ourselves. We spent over $200 in games. We could of spent more money on food and drinks. I will never ever allow any of my friends and family to come to this place. This one is located in Utica, Michigan on hall rd. It is a shame because this place can be a huge hit. But poor management and employees are burning it down. I will be composing to the better business bearu.

My girlfriend and I went to your location at the block of orange in Orange County California and a had a friend drop off gifts at the front desk to be held safely the worker at the front desk accepted the property and when it was time to retrieve it it was missing when we tried to figure out how to retrieve our property we were asked to leave the business and call the next day we had to call the police to get any kind of answers from management and even at that point in time was told that there's no camera footage of the front desk of the property and pause given a business card to contact corporate still absolutely no call backs responses from anybody within the Dave and busters company

January 20, 2019 at 4pm my family met to celebrate my sister's birthday in Marietta, Georgia Dave and Busters. We put in our name for a table for eight and proceeded to wait thirty minutes while the dining area had over twenty tables empty. After being seated at 4:33pm, we ordered drinks, water and soda, which we received 24 minutes later. Our table then proceeded to order adult beverages and an appetizer. The appetizer came out in a timely manner and the adult beverages followed. The server then left without asking if we were ready to order and was not seen for 20 minutes. We then found her and asked her to take our order which caused us to recieve attitude from the waitress like we were an inconvenience. She took our orders except for two people at our table who were never allowed the opportunity to give their orders. A manager was contacted to take the remaining orders. After grabbing the attention of our manager the waitress was gone for 45 minutes never refilling drinks or letting us know if our food was coming out any time soon. The manager took our appetizer plate and refilled our drinks. Our food came out, my fiancé's ribs were cold and I asked for a side salad with my meal and received fries. We called the manager over again and told him the issues. My fiancé's ribs were replaced with hot ones and my Caesar salad was brought to me. The table of eight was then divided four ways. My fiancé's and myself had a total of $41.30 and left a cash tip. I signed the receipt and saw that I was charged for my side salad as if it was my fault for the waitress not putting it in the first time. So, we had the manger over to our table three times throughout our meal and at no point was apologized to for all the issues. Monday, January 21, 2019 I find that my card was charged $147.62 for the meal that should of been $41.30. I have called Guest services and left messages with no return phone call to dispute the charge to my account. It is now Wednesday, January 23, 2019 and I am filing a dispute with my bank against this outrageous charge. This was one of the worst experience I have ever had in a business. I know what it is like to be a waitress, myself, but at no point were the waitress or manager apologetic.
unauthorized credit card use
December 31st I attended a birthday party at your establishment in baybrooke mall in league city, texas. After a fine time as usual I paid for my families portion of our time which included games and food. Splitting the check between my wife and I for approx 20 dollars each. Signing for these tickets and leaving earlier than rest of party. Come to find out when recently going through financial statement I saw a 241$ charged to my account. Immediately called and questioned this recently and was reimbursed by my bank with pending inquiry. After speaking with managers about the situation it was resolved that I will be reimbursed within a time frame.
My dispute with this is that I was told very little about why my card was ran for the total after I had already paid out? The rest of the party paid in cash after asking if they to had been dinged. The ripple down effects of this has been a pain in which I do not carry much money in this particular account and have since been charged overdraft fees multiple times due to this error. The manager stated that the server must have accidentally ran it all under my card but I find that impossible to believe since my wifes bank has no record of any charges on her end. Which leads me to believe having been in the business that her transaction was cancelled and my card ran for full amount with 200 cash floating in the wind. After all this I was still charged for my portion of dining in that evening.
To me this is poor customer care in multiple faction with me having no real answers to what happened or compensation for this 200 dollar mistake which again has now costed me even more for bank overdraft fees as well. And on top of whatever happened in the incident, hey you still pay for your food.
Resolution - make this right in a moral standpoint. Any compensation would be appreciated other than the amount being reissued minus my portion of the bill. As I have since wasted time hours and finances to get this resolved

Myself and a friend went to visit at the Duluth ga location on 1/13/19 @ 7:33 PM. Upon arrival we decided to grab a bite to eat before heading to the game room so we sat in the bar area @ table 412. So we sat looked over the menu made our selection and waited for service. Not to mention there was a server sitting directly next to our table on the phone whom was not concerned about providing service until we approached the bar and asked for someone to take our order. The young lady named beauty at the bar said it was not her section but she will be over soon. Well this is when the young man at the table next to us decided to jump up and now provide us with poor service. He took the order and we order everything at once knowing we would not get much service after that. My friend had a Caribbean drink and I ordered a Tropical smoothie. We recieved our drinks and apps promptly. Not even halfway thru the app our food arrives. MY friend kale salad which clearly was not a kale salad tasted like fish. I ordered a philly with more vegetable than meat. She sent the salad back and ordered gold finger which came out cold. So at this point we are not happy so I ask to speak with the manager. The lady man of a manager came to our table without a smile and not so convincing apology. Offered to rebook gold fingers but at this point we ready to leave. She attempts to comp the check but cant find it. After she supposedly comp our food there was a entree left on the ticket so the manager had to be called to come back and correct her mistake so this time I had to let her know just how terrible the service was from BEGINING to End and she seemed to have no care at all as to my concerns as a paying patron at this establishment. Even though I was made aware by the bartender that this location will be soon closing by the end of Feburary is no excuse to the poor service recieved on said day. This was the worst experience I ever had while visiting one of your locations and not sure if I will return if this is the type of service you provide to your guest. The resolution to this issue would be a full refund. Thank you and God bless.

I recently had out of town guests. On their last night, my niece and nephew wanted to take my 15 year old daughter to Dave and Busters. They loaded their cards ahead of time. When they got there, they were told they would not be allowed in as she was 15 years old and they were 22 years old. Apparently, they would have to be 25 years old! Nowhere on your website is this mentioned (I finally found it complained about in the reviews!) It would certainly be helpful if you would add this to your website, before other people spend driving time, and have their money tied up on your card, only to be denied access. As this was two, what should be considered adults, and one 15 year old, not a toddler or young child, I believe your managers could have made an exception. I'm very disappointed with your facility and hope you add my recommendations to your website!

At the time i had an employment authorization card that was valid. I have used this same form of identification to fly on commercial airline with no issue. On 11/13/20218 I attended the Downtown Silver Spring location. The purpose of the visit was to try the new impossible burger. Upon arriving to the location, it took 20mins for someone to greet us. When the server came over I gave the server specific instructions on what I wanted to order. It took a 40mins for my food to come out, when the food arrived to the table all of the condiments I requested for my burger was not come out with the burger. It seemed as if the server really wasn't connected to our table/ his listening skill were off. I was super disappointed because; I was looking forwarded to having an awesome experience. But to be honest the service was terrible and there wasn't a since of urgency.
horrible and embarrassing experience
On Saturday, November 3, 2018, around 10pm my girlfriend and I went to the location out Hanover in Arundel Mills. First there was nobody at the Host stand and there were empty tables so we didn't know if it was self seat or not. So we waited for about 10 minutes before anybody showed up to seat us. Once we ordered it took about another 10 minutes for our drinks. I ordered the lettuce wrap with the chicken, avocado, tomatoes, and some sauce but I asked for no tomatoes because I can't eat them due to health issues, but my food came out with tomatoes anyways. My Girlfriend ordered a salad but we never got an utensils. So after waiting for another 10 minutes I called the manager over to inform him on the issue. He took my food to have it replaced but still never gave us any utensils. Meanwhile while I'm waiting for my food to come back out my girlfriend still can't eat her salad and its getting soggy from all the salad dressing. Once I receive my food we ask for the salad to be removed and for the check because we were ready to just go home. The Same manager that replaced my food came to the table and asked us what's the problem now like we were getting on his nerves or we were the problem. I told him about the salad and we just wanted the check. As soon as he walked away the server brings us a check with the salad removed and said here you go he just took it off. The check Came up to $31.55 so we paid exactly 1 ($20 bill), 2 ($5 bills) and 2 ($1 bills), which came up to $32 total. We did not tip because of the bad service and she barely checked on us but we did pay the whole bill. We sat the money and the check on the table and walked out and then the manager followed behind us yelling we didn't pay the check. I was so embarrassed and upset that he just followed us yelling we didn't pay the bill and I know I had just sat the money down. So I walked in behind in so we can both ask the servers and she admitted that we did pay we just didn't give it to her the busser have her the money. The Manager said I'm sorry and I told him how embarrassing that was to follow a black gay couple yelling in front of everybody that we did not pay and we did. Ask for something more than I'm sorry then more managers came to us and told us to get out actually walked behind us and one of them pushed me out the door. I did not like my experience at all and will go to the news station with this information. I have not ever been treated like this at and I will not let it happen now.
