Debonairs Pizza poor service

OMW... This is now really one of the most pathetic results I have seen in years. The message came trough that they will contact me. But yet nobody has phone to apologise to me on what happened. Really. Come on man. How should I go back to a Debonairs store to make use of them again without proper service. This is not just annoying, but it shows the public how customer service looks like. So pathetic. I will get the word out on how they treat their customers. I have lodged a complaint with head office, no response. I have come to hallo peter, got a response but nobody sorted out my problem. They did not even bother to phone me. I have lodged a complaint on Facebook. Asked me for my number. But yet no response. Come on man. How do you work. Do you take as long as possible to sort out your customers. This is rather pathetic if you ask me. I will get the word out. I am tired of the ### service that I get.

Debonairs Pizza homophobia

I would like to inform consumers of a situation that my partner (Jacques Engelbrecht) and I encountered at the Sea Point branch on Saturday December 8, 2012.

We are deeply disappointed about the blatant homophobia we experienced on this day.

My partner ordered two triple decker pizzas and while we waited we noticed that certain members of the staff were staring at my partner and I. He asked them why they were staring and they continued to shamelessly do so without a verbal response and the entire staff on duty (including those in the kitchen whom had by now appeared to stop preparing food to watch the situation unfold) started laughing and talking amongst themselves.

We began to feel exceedingly uncomfortable and progressively agitated.

My partner again asked why they continued to stare and it was at this point that who we assume to be the manager, handed us our meal without a word or even so much as an apologetic gesture.

This kind of service is unacceptable and we have spread the word via various social media platforms and contacted Debonairs via their website.

Debonairs Pizza manager accused me of theft & threatened me

Saturday the 20th of February I ordered two Pizzas and PAID for them. Monday the 22nd of February Mr Lategan(manager) called me and said I need to come into the branch and pay for the extra 2 pizza's I took. I told him I only ordered and received 2 pizzas and they were paid for. He then said he has video footage of me taking the pizzas and I didn't pay for it and if I do not come and pay for it he will call the police. I wrote to Debonairs on the 23rd of February and after 12 days still did not receive a response to my complaint. I called numerous times to follow up on the complaint and I was just told that they were looking into it. The manager who called me and accused me was so rude and I was totally disappointed that I didn't get any feedback on my complaint especially after calling to follow up and still not getting a response. I get pathetic and horrific service from a manager and then nobody gets back to apologise. The call centre agent mentioned that their system said the manager made a human error. If rudeness and falsely accusing is a human error then I guess all crime can be classified as a human error!

Debonairs Pizza I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and food I received in debonairs pizza

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and food I received on Friday night (30 October 2009) at Van Riebeeck Park Debonairs!

I had to wait for an order which they made incorrectly 2 times, third time lucky I guess! Debonairs took almost an HOUR while I had to sit at the store and wait for the pizzas that could not be done properly the first time, and. By the time all the pizzas came and I finally got home, the rest of the pizzas were cold!

I dealt with one lady, leaving one lady at the teller and no one to answer the telephone, The telephone rang constantly and the queue was out the door (in the pouring rain). If this is the service you give customers and expect your customers to wait for, I will not be returning, nor bragging about.

Debonairs Pizza I will never use this branch and tell my friend of the bad service received fro your branch

I called to order a pizza, I order a standard and pay for a standard and they delivered a the real deal size which is smaller. I call the branch to complain about the Pizza size. The Manager promise that he would person to collect and deliver the correct size in no long than 30 minutes and am told not to eat the one that was delivered. I wait for 45minutes and nothing arrives. I called the branch back and the manager tells me that the size is correct without looking at it. Then tells me that he was too busy with other things. Well he now thinks that he should send some to collect. Now I must wait another hour before I can get my lunch. I don't think that this is proffessional and it is very rude to me as a customer it is now 14h30 and I am still waiting for my lunch. I will never use this branch and tell my friend of the bad service received fro your branch.

322394 - complain, all I received from the branch manager was a call saying that it will not happen again.
this is not on... I will ensure that I tell my friends and family to never order from deboniares again.

I want to file a complaint about Debonairs Pizza Rangeview Krugersdorp.

Firstly they took forever with the delivery, so my order was cold and my pizza squashed.

Not only that i didn't even recieve my full order, which i paid in full with a R50 tip for the driver.

Now i'n not at all happy with this and demand it to be corrected.

Either you refund me my money or give me the repeted order again plus the 4 missing pop itz at no charge.

I'm not leaving this.

Yesterday I bought a debonairs pizza triple decker something meaty hope ill enjoy it but only to find out it was as crispy as rusks it was burned I called to put my complain unfortunately they just apologised and said they forgot to put the extra cheese and then when it was ready they pore cheese and re baked the pizza I ended up buying another pizza because I wasn't up for cooking only to get angrier they told me it was free and this morning I got a call saying y didn't I give the delivery guy the money as if I refused to pay I went there and the manager named Xolani was so rode he even said its like I'm one of the brainless people I'm not happy I'm going to sue debonairs if they do not respon to this

Last night, I ordered pizza online, from Debonairs. I ordered a chicken tripple deccer, that upon arrival we noticed there were practically no chicken pieces on it. Each slice had 1 or 2 which is appalling as we ordered. CHICKEN. I am beyond angry and disgusted.

I ordered a pizza at 10:45 and was told that deliveries start at 11:00 waited patiently so but still at 12:00 my pizza has not arrived no one bothers to call. i call the branch the lady says to me they had a problem with their bike in minutes my order will be delivered still nothing 12:40 call the branch again and im told that the delivery guy came in late the question now becomes why no one bothered to call and tell me that the order is running late? then 13:20 i call the store again and now i spoke to the branch manager who was so helpful i must say o commend the Burgersfort Mall Branch manager keep it up dear, but i think you need to workshop your staff or start looking elsewere

Kaone I agree with you. Had the same issue at the same branch. Logged a complain with the hot line received a reference number and still waiting for feedback. The Manager at the Crossing branch has a ### attitude cos he's big headed and feels that he don't need any1's business cos he's loads of money!

Morning
I logged a complaint on the 26th of December regarding a 4 in 1 pizza and Steers chips we ordered. We were 2 couples at my home. The other couple also logged a complaint and received a voucher. Not even knowing the other couple received a voucher, a lady called Liezel phoned me this morning and asked me were we both complaintents in the same complaint and I said yes, then she was interigating me why we didn't use the voucher together, then I said to her that I didn't even know about his voucher. I feel we are 2 families not living together and in the first place was the first time that I complain about something. I did not ask for a voucher and she made me feel like I was only complaining to get something out of them! She could have just have the decincy to first explain that the other complaintent received something..we don't live together and I don't keep track on what the other complaintent do every second of the day! Bad bad attitude to just asume I know anything about the other complaintent! It was my right to complaint because the FooD was cold and not even niCe and if I receive a voucher to wich I'm entitled to I would not prefer it to be at this branch in any case! Engen Garage in Uitenhage! I'm so disgusted! She just babling about that she can't make out a double voucher, then I said I don't want your voucher or your food! i am so disappointed, i ordered at 16:30, at !17:45 i called to check if my order is coming they said yes but at 18:25 my order was still not coming it only came at 19:45.debonairs mahikeng the crossing mall sucks

Debonairs Pizza I must say, they are the worst by far

Yesterday (6102009), I went to Dabonairs (Sandton City) to buy a SUB and a drink which I was charged R 30.00. 20 minutes later I requested my food. No one at that restaurant could say why my order is delayed, I didn't receive any explanation nor an apology on why my order was not ready. People came in and out of the restaurant as though I was none existed to waiters. I am bitter, Irate and Livid to say the least as I made the order at 14:45 and left 15:20, with no SUB. I bought a drink at Dabonairs for R30.00. I demand my money back and you can keep your pathetic service. i will not spend a cent in that place ever. I have never received such below standard service at any other Dabonairs in the country. I must say, they are the worst by FAR.

Debonairs Pizza we will never go back to this franchise

While we were waiting for our food, we saw the chef using his bare hands to apply toppings onto the pizza. the two pizzas we ordered were not the right shape and not even cut the way it should be. when we got home and opened the boxes, we found that hardly any cheese is to be found on the pizzas and one really has to search to find the topings. the toppings were dry!

After this ordeal, we went back some two weeks later to find that none of the specials were available to us (same as the previous time we were there). We ordered the tripple dekker meaty pizza also to find that the 3 layers, specially the 3 bases that was used were not the same size, were dry, did not contain enough sauce or toppings and were overwhelmed with origanum. We ordered extra cheese on the pizzas but found that this extra was non existant.

We will never go back to this franchise! We are disgusted by the way the owner wants to save money and robbing us of the pleasure of quality food. We are very up to date with how food should be like and this franchise is a disgrace to Debonairs!

Debonairs Pizza completely disgusted by debonairs service

It is over two weeks now that I had made a complaint about the deteriorating quality of Debonairs pizza to the manager of the Rondebosch branch and made the same complaint through email to their customer centre. About a week ago, I made a complaint on Hellopeter.com and somebody from Debonairs replied to my complaint saying that somebody would get in touch with me. Somebody is still to get in touch with me regarding the whole issue. This behaviour from Debonairs clearly show that they do not care about customer complaints. I am now more and more convinced that I will never step into Debonairs again due to their bad service.

I will never buy a pizza from Debonairs again in Govan Mbeki Ave in Port Elizabeth. I told the lady that i want a fresh pizza and she told me i can only get the ones already finish in the oven. The pizza did not taste fresh at all. This was my second encounter. Why do they put the stuff in the oven it does not taste the same at all.Its sticky and have not crisp.
What is the red sticker there for -Just a lie

Debonairs Pizza I bought the new pizza tuck and it was dry as a card board

On the 19 September 2009, I purchased a large pizza something meaty pizza and the new tuck. The something meaty hardly had any meat it was very small and basically no cheese. I am regular customer at Debonairs all over SA and this way below their standard. Two years ago I had the same problems with Debonairs and decided not to buy it when that outlet again. I bought the new pizza tuck and it was dry as a card board.

Debonairs Pizza please don't buy at this store, it disgusting

I had such a bad experience with your pizzas! We bought pizzas at the Tokia store and grossly it had a few hair strands melted on it. We returned it and all they could say was do you want a refund? How can you sell this to us the consumers! I refuse to ever eat from your store or any other store for that matter!

Please don't buy at this store!It disgusting!

I call debonairs kwt stone towers at about 18:40 they promise to deliver it in 40 mins aftr a delay of 30 minuteson my suprise its not even well done they use creamy cheese instead of the cheese the use to my last double cram a laddy called nana told me I dnt know this pizza is new while it was my second time to order that kind of pizza DEBONAIRS KWT is hell latelty mayb thers new management ther mpofu [protected]

Debonairs Pizza food not up to standard

By phone I ordered a 4 seasons large and was told it would be ready in 8 minutes. I arived 10 minutes later paid for and received my order. When walking towards my car I noticed the box was not very warm and noticed about the red dot. which was black. I immediately returned to the branch and was told that the free pizza only applied to deliveries. I left but when I got home I found the pizza to be luke warm and very floppy.

I think my pizza was not made fresh from my order as it was ready to quickly and I assume I was given a cancelled or unfetched order as it was quit busy (friday evening 5.30pm.

Also Debonairs should take a complaint seriously instead of fobbing it off or say on the box that the free pizza only applies to deliveries.

Debonairs Pizza the order arrived ice cold and has left me with a sick feeling because of the way the situation was handled

On 26 August 2009 at 17:55 we placed a delivery order with Debonairs in Banbury Cross and was told that the order would take 30 -40 minutes to be delivered. At 18:30 MIldred from Debonairs phoned and told us that the cocktail cheese sausages were out of stack, yet we ordered it 35 minutes before and the order should have arrived. This is ridiculous first of all, how can they not advise us when placing the order that they were out of stock and ohone us wen it was supposed to be delivered. So we request that hey give us anotherside at the same price as we were quoted, Mildred refused and we requested to speak to the manager, to which Arthur took the phone, Arthur then promised to call us back which he did and gave us the new side for the same price. The order has only now arrived and it is ice cold and has left me with a sick feeling because of the way the situation was handled. This is not the first time we have had trouble with this Debonairs and feel that as a franchise some kind of conformity must be maintained.

Debonairs Pizza pathetic service, incorrect order, and bad attitude

I ordered supper from Debonair's a few days ago, and I was terribly disgusted by the level of service and lack of regard for any business ethics either. I ordered a pizza (amongst some other items) and specified (and paid for) extra cheese on the one.

After waiting a whopping 45 minutes for a simple order, my first annoyance was when I asked the attendant why it had taken so long, she simply looked at me blankly, shrugged, and then walked away offering me no respite whatsoever.

When I got home, I then found that there was ZERO evidence of any extra cheese on the one pizza. I called Debonairs and where I spoke to the manager Nozipho, who did not much offer much help either. I would have drive back to the store, she would have to decide whether or not there was indeed no extra cheese on the pizza, and then make me wait probably another full hour before I could finish my meal.

Upon telling her that part of the pizza was eaten (as we were exceptionally hungry after the long wait), she objected even further. Furthermore, I found her to be very rude, and the general atmosphere of the staff at the branch is one of unhelpfulness.

Wrong order - most horrible pizza ever!
Order no 158, debonairs kolonade! Johanna lebogo. I recently came out of hospital and asked my son to get me the cream base fill with sweet and sour chicken, if not the Debonairs new special with the sausages in - I was very specific as well as my son and both his friends. She got my order wrong - she gave me this double crust that tasted like dry old bread - u can literally pick the "so claimed pizza" off the dry base. I was so hungry due to no transport and this woman did the order wrong and she was very all knowing... I want my money back and will not ever support Debonairs again - I will also tell my friends how the service is at Kollonade. When my son went back they were closed ... I never complain but that was the worst, dryest pizza I ever got from any pizza place and someone has to say something to stop this as Debonairs is the most expensive take out pizza place! I want a refund and an excuse - no more! I will make sure my son takes this pizza back tomorrow morning once they are open! Martinette [protected]

I would like to know why the above chains seem to think that we live in a predominantly muslim country. I do not eat halaal meat. It is not slaughter humanely and it is blessed by someone of another religion. I live in the southern suburbs and I cant get fast food anywhere as all of the above and more are halaal even though the majority of clients are not...
