Diamond parking scam
While being a parking lot security company, Diamond is not allowed to “Fine” anyone, including vehicles not using their facilities. They may however give notice and have a vehicle towed- only after contacting police. This is a scare tactic that some inevitably fall for and pay. If you have been fined by this company, you can take them to small claims court. A company or corporation may not execute “fines” on citizens. They are not law enforcement. I imagine there will be a class action suit coming soon. This is a blatant attempt to collect money illegally.
Tarnished the start of our family vacation
Within 5 minutes of arriving at our condo rental at The Lodge at Mountain Village, Park City, Utah, which cost us over $5,000 for four nights, enforcer/checker #16972 issued a citation without any grace period that would allow us to retrieve the parking pass from inside the rented condo four floors up.
Diamond parking services is inappropriate and out of line causing me to spend my first hour of vacation dealing with their nonsense both by speaking with their telepone service representative Sonny who could not immediately resolve my dispute then forcing me to generate an email.
I asked them to call me and apologize for the stain they placed on my well deserved vacation.
No surprise, they have not.
Very annoyed
They ticketed my mothers car...
They ticketed my mothers car, that I drove to my shop to work on. said ticket was given to me parked directly in front on my shop, in my lot.
They also lied about it saying that I just walked away @ 7:15am. I open the shop @ 7:00 am and I was parked and out of the car @ 6:47am.
Several of my employees and customers have been ticketed by these frauds.
Never Ever Park When You See Diamond Parking
Very unethical, money robbing parking company. City suppose to intervene this company's parking ticket issuing practice. They do not have a machine to pay. I pay at a machine for the parking lot and put the ticket at the dashboard, when I came back and see they issued a parking ticket of $80 which is way too much more than the City of Edmonton. This company suppose to put very clear sign which says it is private parking lot and only you can pay by the phone.
I called to discuss a parking ticket that was issued to my daughter who has a disability, which I thought was unfair
I called to discuss a parking ticket that was issued to my daughter who has a disability, which I thought was unfair. We did challenge the ticket earlier but they did not acknowledge it and just sent another rude letter and increased the ticket to $105. " As of this date of this letter, that payment has not been received. A late payment penalty and the costs we have incurred to enforce payment have now been added tot he Notice Amount" When I called the head office in Vancouver I spoke to the manager and asked if they could have some compassion and refund us the ticket amount as we paid under pressure. Instead of compassion I received verbal abuse from the manager and she said " If your daughter has a disability she should not be driving" I am a senior and was absolutely appalled to be talked to in this way by this ignorant woman, who not only disrespected me but disrespected my daughter too. Never in my life has anyone talked to me in this way and I feel very strongly that something should be done about this. I am following up with this and contacting upper management of the company.

Absolutely horrendous company. Horrible customer ***. On Dec ***, my fiance and I parked at a spot in downtown ***, we paid for the spot and went about our evening. Came back within our timeframe, and conveniently we had a ticket from Diamond Parking Services. We immediately appealed the decision by supplying them with screenshots from the park whiz showing that the spot was purchased, that the spot was active at the time issuance of their 'ticket' and we sent the email and after Christmas passed we finally got a response. Their response was as follows: "A redacted bank statement or a screenshot of the transaction showing that payment has posted; it must list processed not processing. If a payment is pending we cannot accept it and will ask that you send the an additional screenshot once the payment has posted. You can black out any other sensitive and vital account information, as long as what shows is Diamond Parking." they did not acknowledge the screenshots of the park whiz app, but it doesn't constitute a void since park whiz did not list the license plate". So they pretty much said "Screenshot your bank statement and show us with some redactions." On Dec 29th, my fiance called Diamond and spoke with person with the company who acknowledged the receipt of the screenshots, but as the park whiz is a system they use they cannot accept it as proof. Yes you read that right, the proof that shows the active nature of the spot you rented is NOT PROOF, after a couple minutes of trying to get through to him, he said along the lines of "if you don't show financial statement, I cannot void this ticket and hung up on him. I agree with everyone else, ComplaintsBoard.com needs to investigate this company for shading business dealings and I caution everyone where you see "Diamond Parking Services" run don't walk away from their service. Currently in their appeal stages at the moment, and will update you.
They're frauds. They somehow got my name& address, then sent me a threatening letter demanding that I pay an overdue parking ticket of 126.50.They didn't have my licence plate number, but made up a phony number which I noticed. I don't even live in the same city that the alleged infraction took place. When parking tickets are given out, they id the owner and address by vehicle plate number. Since they didn't have mine.It proves that, my vehicle was not involved and that they get your info a different way. Their licence should be revoked and this criminality should be checked
I parked in one of their lots yesterday evening. I used the parkwhiz sign on their lot and paid almost for parking until 6am. I returned to my car a few hours later and found they'd given me a ticket.i have an email receipt that shows I paid. this is *notthe first time this has occurred to me in the past few months. If it's happening to me, it's happening to others. they own the lots near my work and are often the only choice I have to park. I'm the main caregiver to an elderly parent and don't have time to invest in fighting the tickets.they have a history of doing this in the past and are back at it. I hope that someone opens a class action suit to end these practices, which amount to theft, for good.
They give you tickets even if you paid parking and send them proof. I will never park on their lot again, even though they are all over the city...
Ticketed prior to my time expiring
Ticketed prior to my time expiring. Sent appeal email as requested with copies of my receipt AND the ticket to demonstrate I was ticketed wrongfully. I was advised on April 23rd that within 2-3 business days Id have a response. The response was received on May 10th indicating my request was denied for failure to provide a bank statement. Why in the world does this company think theyre entitled to receive such personal information from me?! Further, what does a bank statement prove that the RECEIPT already confirms? Date? Check! Time? Check! Total amount charged? Check! Matching license plate? CHECK! I am beyond frustrated and annoyed and will be involving attorneys if not resolved in 3 business days or if they continue to harass me further for payment when NO PAYMENT IS DUE BECAUSE I PAID UPFONT FOR USE OF THE PARKING SPACE! Get it together Diamond Parking, you are a disgrace to the business world based on the complaints listed before mine this is a broken model that needs to be addressed or this company needs to be sued in a class action lawsuit for wrongfully charging unsuspecting patrons.

I parked in the empty Rite Aid lot (E790 ***, ***) on Oct. 27th, went across the street to the bike shop - gone for 10 minutes. When I came back there was a ticket on my windshield. There are signs on one row that say permit parking, but not in the area I was parked. Obviously, there was a person just sitting there watching me and my car - which is very creepy. Courtesy would have been to tell me I couldn't park there, instead of stalking me. There is no parking in downtown Salem. I was not taking up customer ***. And I was gone for less than 10 minutes. However, the stalking park is what really bothers me. Trust me, I will never park there, or use your services, when you employ a creep people who stalk women!
Attendants follow you, practice a form of entrapment. Lot near ***. Not listed on
Parked and paid using the park whiz code in their lot. Got a receipt emailed to me showing I paid for 2 hours, came back to my car an hour later and found a $100 plus ticket on my window. These lots are a bs scam now I have to take the time to argue and fight this BS. Will never use a diamond lot again.
On August 9, 2022 I parked at a lot in *** owned by Diamond parking (big mistake)
On August 9, 2022 I parked at a lot in *** owned by Diamond parking (big mistake). There was a sign indicating several options to prepay for parking, among them a *** code. I chose to use the *** code (second big mistake), put in my license plate and state (which was optional, according to the form), clicked the credit card button to pay and got a screen with a check *** (I have a screen shot) indicating that it was paid and I was on my way. About an hour and a half later, I went back to my car and saw that there was a ticket on it from Diamond parking. Apparently the state field was faulty and after approving the payment, it rejected it. When I called to complain about the ticket, Diamond parking reduced the fine by half which is still 3 times the original parking fee. While that amount of money isnt huge, their practice of penalizing a customer for their faulty payment system seems egregious and aggressive. I also made a call and sent an email to the payment system (Parkwhiz) to let them know that their system is faulty. Since they never received payment, they said there was nothing they could do.

I sent an email to *** at the Anchorage Parking Service about a $46.50 parking ticket we received. We were not familiar with their parking system and didn't know how to do it correctly, since we are from out of state. He immediatley sent an email back, lowering the ticket to $10.00. That was pretty good service, even thought their rating is very low.
DO NOT PAY ONE OF THEIR FRAUDULENT TICKETS!***My girlfriend was cited one of these official-looking tickets and was stressing out because of how expensive it was and we are just college students we aren't made of money! I was absolutely infuriated so I called the number on the back of the ticket and asked if these scammer aholes actually have any legal authority to take anyone to collections and the [censored] on the phone was extremely disrespectful. "family-owned" my a*** After a screaming match with the extremely unprofessional rep on the phone I finally got him to admit ***THEY CAN NOT LEGALLY TAKE YOU TO COLLECTIONS*** SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY AND MONEY THEY ARE JUST SCAMMERS USING OFFICIAL LOOKING TICKETS TO GET HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS OUT OF LAW ABIDING CITIZENS THIS IS A JOKE I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS REAL. Especially in a college town like ***, it's disgusting how many kids they're probably taking advantage of. DISGUSTING THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN HOW IS THE ACTUAL POLICE NOT INVOLVED YET?
Diamond Parking has a practice of citing cars who have PAID for parking at their lots. Their employees do this regularly. I was sitting in my car, on the *** and the employee went and took a picture of my license plate and started the process of writing me a ticket. He was very surprised when I opened my door and asked him what he was doing. This is not the first time. I have received two other tickets in downtown *** to which I had already paid for four hours of parking. When I called Diamond I was told to dispute the ticket online. However again today I received yet another ticket in *** after paying to park. They obviously don't even check to see if people have already paid. Get your act together Diamond parking or get out of the parking business and stop harassing legitimate shoppers. I will be asking the city to remove your license.
Last night I parked at the old *** on *** in ***, now run by Diamond Parking. 1) As one can see from the photo, I paid $27.09 for a parking ticket at the kiosk at 6:55 pm October 1st and my parking was valid until 6:55 am October 2nd. I received a parking ticket at 6:54 pm (one minute earlier). During the time it took for me to walk from my vehicle to the ticket kiosk, I received a ticket (are the patrollers waiting in the wings for customers to leave their vehicle so they can issue a ticket? This is unethical). 2) As well, as one can see the license plate number punched in by the patroller is incorrect; my plate begins with CB0 and the ticket says CB8. 3) As other reviewers state, this parkade is unkempt, smells like urine and feels unsafe as there are down-and-out folks hanging out in the parkade. I will avoid Diamond Parking in the future.
This company is a scammer!
This company is a scammer! You leave your car for 5 - 10 minutes and you get instantly ticketed for no valid reason. The officers just want to make their quota for the day to scam you out of money to pay their own salaries. My friend and I were parking at one of their lots and walked off for 5 - 10 minutes before going to the designated embellishment of the parking lot, when we returned we were ticketed and no sign of the officer. After reading the reviews, this has happened to multiple people within the time span of leaving their cars for 5-10 minutes and sometimes less. This is ridiculous and their is no dispute department to argue. They only accept written disputes where their discussion box is less than 250 words. This is preposterous and ridiculous to think you can fit all your explanation within that tiny box. Multiple disputes of the same kind of situations as mine and denied immediately! This company is setup for scamming and there is no solution or anyone to talk to, their customer service line is a joke and will not take the time to listen of complaints or anything. They don't deserve any stars for service, they are a scamming company.

This company is nothing but fraud. I parked at *** farmers market and then scanned the *** code to pay. But their application/website returned me a "sorry we are having technical difficulties. Please try later"...so I tried 3 more times for next 15 - 20 mins and every time I got the error. To cover my base, I took screenshot of the error and I still have the screenshot. Then I called the 800 number listed for customer *** and guess what no one picked up. 30 minutes later I came back and see a $50 plus parking ticket on my dash. WTH ! This seem intentional so they can make money on these tickets. I am filing a complaint with HI state department of commerce https://cca.***.gov/consumer-complaints/ . This is nothing but day light robbery. If they still refuse to cancel my ticket I will be filing a police report for harrassment.
Parking meter was out of order but Diamond Parking issued ticket for $126.50. We had a video to prove that the machine was not working and yet the company refused to waive the charges. Company representatives answering calls are so rude and unapproachable.
These people are *** They give official looking tickets with no legal authority, and threaten to send you to collections if you dont pay. Thus, knowing its easier to pay a bogus $50 ticket then risk credit damage, is their scam. They have a special place in h*** for people like this.
We used Diamond Parking in downtown Kona, HI
We used Diamond Parking in downtown Kona, HI. After paying $12.50/hour ($24/2 hours plus $3 for a third hour), I kept the receipt with me as this was the instructions printed on the receipt. When we returned to our vehicle two hours later, there was a notice and blue envelope instructing us that we did not pay for parking and we now owed $56.50 if paid within 15-days or $91.50 if paid after 15-days. We immediately called the number on the paper. We were told to send a picture of their notice, our receipt AND the entry from our bank or credit card statement proving that we paid (because some unscrupulous people create fake receipts). All of the information they needed to check on their end was on the receipt and the "ticket" they gave us had a picture of the car and license plate. Fortunately, we bank online and resolved this that day. They took almost a week to confirm. In their response they told me, "Next time live your receipt on your dashboard." How insulting. These people need to correct the instructions on their receipts; check their electronic kiosks to verify payment before issuing violations; and take responsibility for payment verification.

My wife and I went to *** exhibition on 10/15 with some out of town relatives at 10am
My wife and I went to *** exhibition on 10/15 with some out of town relatives at 10am. When we arrived, there was a parking attendant who told us which spot to park and then informed us that it is free. We wanted to pay but he reiterated that it was free for the event. We were a bit uncomfortable as there was a Mariner's game and every other lot was charging special event price. When we came out of the exhibit around noon, we were horrified to see tickets issued to our cars. We confronted the lady issuing tickets (most of the cars were issued tickets as everyone received the same guidance from the attendant) and she said there is now an event parking. We noticed that a new event parking sign was placed at the entrance to the lot, which wasn't there before. The previous parking attendant tried to explain to the lady but she would not listen to our explanation and asked us to dispute our tickets. This is really outrageous and an outright daylight robbery. My wife contacted Diamond Service through their online site and they responded that this decision is final. I am not surprised by the reviews I'm seeing on this site - ComplaintsBoard.com should look into their business practice and launch an investigation into all of these complaints.

I parked in the Shoppers drugmart Parking lot at 1583 Marine Drive
I parked in the Shoppers drugmart Parking lot at 1583 Marine Drive. It is patrolled by Diamond parking. There are clear signs stating that its for Shoppers Customers only which I saw and abided to. I walked from my parking spot, which was the closest one to the entrance directly into the store and went only to that Shoppers drugmart store. I was inside for 12 minutes. Within that time I was ticketed and it stated that I had walked off the lot towards Bellvue Avenue which is South when I actually had walked East towards the entrance and was nowhere in that direction. It was a complete lie and there was no justification for the ticket. I didn't even walk to a nearby trash can to discard trash where the parking attendant would maybe be confused about where I was heading. I called as soon as I got back to my car and the lady I spoke with lacked concern, customer service and manners. Said they won't do anything about it and its my responsibility to have the Shoppers drugmart contact them to dispute my ticket. .. if the ticket wasn't completely unjustified I would understand why this would by my responsibly, however - it was. This company is dishonest, fraudulent and lacks major customer service. Completely untrustworthy and rude. Shame on them.
Buggy app caused me to get a parking ticket
Buggy app caused me to get a parking ticket. Customer *** didn't respond for a month. I used their website to pay for my $2 parking. I enter all of my information and am even shown a confirmation screen that says my payment is successful. When I get back to my car 30 minutes later, I notice that there's a parking ticket on my window. I go back to the mobile pay screen and immediately the site refreshes and says that it cannot finish the transaction. I would have never known that the payment didn't go through unless I checked my bank statement (which still could take time to show up) or check my email (at this point, I'm not even certain if I would have gotten an email from the website) in the 30 minutes that I was parked. First frustration is that I was told that the transaction was successful in the first place. Second frustration comes with trying to contact customer support to appeal the ticket. I explain the situation and provide all of the necessary information that was requested. I did not receive a response for 30 days. Keep in mind that the ticket has a 10-day late fee attached to it. I think this lack of response is highly unfair and unprofessional. I feel incredibly scummy about how this company operates and hope they improve their process somehow, but I don't have high hopes.
I am not writing this to dispute the ticket we received, but to state that this company does not conduct business in a fair or professional
I am not writing this to dispute the ticket we received, but to state that this company does not conduct business in a fair or professional manner. The truck we use for our business are large and very long. During COVID19 many businesses and restaurants are closed. We parked at one of the few open restaurants to grab something for lunch and then sat on the back of the truck since the inside was not open for seating. The parking lot was completely empty aside from us, and due to the length of our vehicle, to prevent blocking the area in which vehicles drive, we ended up blocking a few spots. There was no notice attached to our vehicle at this time. A month later we received a letter stating we had failed to pay our notice and had additional charged added to the ticket. I contacted Diamond and asked for evidence of the ticket being left on our vehicle. Of course, a photo of our truck was taken from inside the employees vehicle, and showed no ticket on our truck. Not only that it cut off the back of our truck where we where sitting. I advised the supervisor I would pay the ticket but requested the contact information of management as I would like to discuss the way business was conducted and received this for a reply. "I am the Supervisor. The decision in regards to your notice is final. " They also stated that the rules laid out are from the owners of the business and not them. I am sure the empty restaurant would not have had any issue with what we had done. I can't understand how people that are being paid to "enforce a rule", are not expected to continue to do the same in the own occupation. Very poor experience.
*** and unsympathetic towards those living with a *** during a pandemic
and unsympathetic towards those living with a *** during a pandemic. Staff are lacking both good business practice and people skills. I took an *** who uses a walker out for lunch and to visit the ***. When we pulled into the parking lot (which was the closest parking to the *** we noticed the blue disabled spot had been scrubbed out. We could not find another place near to the restaurant and the *** so we bought a $7 ticket for two hours. It was a particularly hot day and we tried to get back to the spot as fast as we could, he can't walk very fast due to his *** and needs to stop for a rest. The attendant was waiting at our car to give us a ticket at exactly 15 minutes past the time despite the fact that we were clearly showing a blue disabled parking pass! I appealed and two weeks later we recieved a very direct message that increased the amount from $80 to $120. They didn't address any of our concerns, claimed there was "no grace period," refused to acknowledge we had a disability and suggested I should have "used my phone and credit card!" I appealed a second time, they did at least say they had seen the blue badge and said they would reduce to $40 (as a courtesy.) I went to pay it and the amount was still showing $80! After contacting them a third time, it was eventually reduced to $40 but I am left feeling *** and this has taken up a huge amount of my time to advocate for someone who isn't able to for themselves. I never want to visit *** again when disabled people are treated in this way. I had previously taken my able bodied parents there 3 years ago and we recieved a ticket from the same company even thought we had bought a ticket and not gone over the time.
I received a notification in the mail for a car which in fact is not registered to me
I received a notification in the mail for a car which in fact is not registered to me. Even though the letter said it was. Its unclear to me why I was sent a collection department notice? I do not own, I am not registered, I have not driven, I have not bought or sold the vehicle listed with this license plate number. I believe was intended for my sister. While we had dinner, she received a citation. We called while and spoke with the representative, as she explained she paid by app. This notice shouldve been sent to the registered owner of this car. Which is not and never has been me. Theres absolutely no explanation as to why myself as a passenger was sent a collection notification. An how was my mailing information incorrectly obtained?I reached out to the department of licensing following this notice. There is no such vehicle that has ever been registered to me. I knew that. Which begs the question, where was the information for the notice obtained from that says I am the registered owner of this vehicle? As this is currently with collections, it could have a long-term a negative impact on ones credit. When it shouldnt even been sent to me in the first place. What is the standard process of verification to see who a car is registered to? How could something so impactful be missed? Shouldnt the vehicle plate be checked with the department of licensing to ensure the persons identity of the vehicle registered, prior to sending notice and to collections? This is extremely concerning to me! That being a passenger in somebodys car could end up with these type of incorrect ramifications. Due to what appears to be an oversight in process. Due process will prove that I am not the registered owner. An never shouldve been sent this erroneous collection notification. How do I get this corrected and sent letter showing of no wrongdoing?

This company is totally unethical like a robber
This company is totally unethical like a robber.Yesterday I went to *** to donate with full load on my car. First time to visit & found no drive-through service but saw a tiny receiving bay beside a narrow back alley. While didn't want to block back alley for other road users, I spot a parking lot (I admit it is pay parking) right beside for *** customers so stopped at closest available spot then quickly walk to SalvationArmy (around *** feets distance) to ask where should I park to upload.Within a minute when I headed back my vehicle intending to pull to proper donation spot, I already seen *** staff was putting ticket on my windshield in action which I tried to explain but he did not want to hear & just went back his car quickly to leave & said "too late" and ask me to "call them" (i.e. *** office) to explain.Tried to call *** hotline & then they said I needed to file formal dispute online instead while they won't entertain this thru phone call. In all these situation, I felt like they tried to put people in difficult/inconvenient situation so to get you with pressure to settle the payment asap or risk higher amount for late payment after 10 days, which either amount is ridiculous. So here rather than wasting time filing dispute, I'd like to share this experience so everyone will be very cautious when use *** lot, or better not to use to avoid their highly potential ethical issue.Honestly, if I were to pay in fair ground, I'd only settle for the couple minutes parking time my vehicle was on the spot (or the minimum unit that meter charges). I just couldn't believe in *** there is such an unethical situation from a big company & felt like I was already spyed when got into the parking lot & the *** staff tried his shortest moment to ticket people asap. Attitude of *** staff is like there's no way you can debate this which I believe this was his total intention and wanted to get more commission from fining more people.

Ticket received on jan 30 at sunridge parking lot
Lot code: G0173, reference#[protected]
Im the owner of the car, that day, my cousin she goes to fit4less sunridge location and she had to pick up her antibiotic tablets from shoppers prescribed from london square dental and then went to gym with her friend who takes bus. She told me she parked my car at front of hudson bay. She waited for her friend to come and then went to shoppers for medicines. She knows sunridge mall doors open around 9am. Instead of taking car to back side of sunridge parking lot she left the car parked there and went to gym through mall. When they came back from she found ticket saying customer parking only and walked off. She called at her gym asking if the gym comes under mall and she got the answer that gym does part of the mall. Gym member can parked anywhere of Sunridge parking location. I feel like I was ticked unfairly. I put the dispute on diamond parking website submitted proof on the same day, not reply yet! I have attached the screenshot as well.

Parking Ticket
This business should just close their parking area to outside customers. Their signs are not well written to inform unaware guests/customers about the penalty/fine that they will charge. There is even no offer for payment to park but just warning signs written on an A4 size wood board. We just park for a few minutes at the time the mall is about to open since there was no parking area at Sunridge Professional with the intention to visit the mall afterwards but the Diamond Parking Management wants to rip off unaware individuals with the honest intention to pay for parking!

Unfair parking ticket.
I was at Sunridge Mall in Calgary 2525 36 StreetNE T1Y 5T4 on November 21. I parked at approximately 10:35 AM I got out of my car and walked straight into The Bay. When I came out about 11:55 I had a parking ticket for $80.00 from Diamond Parking. On the ticket it says Customer Parking only Walked off. Ticket time is 11:49. I made a purchase at 11:41 AM at The Bay. When I called to dispute the ticket the man who answered the phone was very rude and told me I was seem leaving the parking lot. (this is not true as I did not go off the lot) I sent in and appeal and it was denied.
Desired outcome: Have the ticket cancelled

My husband and I parked in the retail park in Shawnessy (303 Shawbille Blvd SE) on 25th November 2023, to visit the local SoCal Bouldering Center. We had already tried the allocated customer parking at the bouldering center, which was all full. We therefore tried at this parking site on the opposite side of the road, still part of the same retail park...

On November 15, 2023, I parked on the 7th floor at around 10:10 am, but when trying to make the payment at the kiosk, it declined my credit card. Hence, I tried again, but it kept on declining my credit card. Therefore, I let some other people pay theirs first, and I also saw it declined theirs a couple of times, but then it went through, so I tried one more time and it worked. Unfortunately, now, when checking my credit card transactions, it turns out I am being charged for the times I attempted and it was declined. 6 Total attempts that account for 92.25, at 15.38 each.

Came downtown to drop my daughter off for a appointment on Sunday Aug 27 2023 at 13:12 There was no parking anywhere and this lot was empty. I took her inside and when i got back to my vehicle there was a ticket for 120.00 I could see if i was parked there for hours and it was busy but if the City of Calgary can offer free parking and your lot is empty you could be a little leniency. If i have to pay the ticket i will but will never support your business again
Desired outcome: ticket dropped

Unjust notice
I am writing to urgently appeal the unjust past-due notice (Ref: [protected]) I received, alleging a parking violation on July 19, 2023, for which I never received an initial ticket. Upon subsequent investigation, I discovered that the spot in question was designated as client-only, not a pay parking area. This revelation is crucial as it underscores the...

On 8/29/2023, I parked my vehicle in the parking lot located at SD015. Prior to leaving my vehicle, I utilized a parking Park Mobile app to pay for my parking duration. There were signage of Park Mobile visible when I parked but I did not see signage of Diamond Parking.
Upon my return, I discovered a ticket citation [ref# [protected]] from Diamond Parking on my windshield. There has been a mix-up, as I had indeed paid for the parking space during the time in question. I have attached the receipt from Park Mobile as proof of payment for your reference. It clearly shows the date, time, and duration of my parking session.
I request that you review this matter and I would like the citation ticket to be dismissed.

Parking at Crowfoot Square at Varsity Calgary
This complaint is regarding parking at the Crowfoot Square at 5403 Crowchild Trail NW Calgary managed by Diamond Parking. I had gone to make a purchase at the Filipinana Store on 8/25/2023 in the Crowfoot Square shopping mall in Varsity and when I came back I found a parking ticket for $80 on my vehicle. The Lot Code is G012 and my reference number is [protected]. This is totally unreasonable and unfair to me. I appealed online as mentioned in the parking ticket and provided them a copy of my bank statement to show the purchase which I made and they dismissed my appeal. I would strongly recommend against patronizing businesses in the Crowfoot Square Shopping mall in Varsity Calgary and recommend against parking in lots managed by Diamond Parking.
Desired outcome: Dismiss parking ticket

Lot Location: 4205 Gellatly Rd., West Kelowna, BC
Lot Code: K059
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
I am writing to advise you that I am a 78 year old woman and I registered my license plate number partially incorrect, in my haste to arrive for a reservation at the Landing Restaurant in West Kelowna to meet my friend who was taking me out for lunch.
I am handicapped and I am awaiting a hip replacement. My car had my handicapped decal on display. I suffer with constant extreme pain and suffer with mobility issues. With the high temperatures outside I was feeling very uncomfortable and subsequently, I transposed my license plate numbers while registering my car’s license plate numbers at the Landing Restaurant.
I am living on a very small pension and I can ill afford this $80.00 fine resulting from my innocent mistake in entering my license plate numbers partially incorrect on the registration machine at the reception desk of the Landing Restaurant.
I would ask you to kindly consider cancelling this parking ticket, because of my circumstances; my age, my handicap, the high outdoor temperatures and the innocent mistake in transposing my license plate numbers as being MW636X, when they are actually MW363X.
Would you kindly respond to this communication at your earliest convenience, as I will have to seek financial assistance from my son in order to pay for the attached ticket within the next ten days, in order to pay the lesser amount.
I do not want to appear in arrears and I cannot afford to pay the additional late fee, if indeed, you decide not to cancel this ticket.
I will look forward to receiving your reply at the earliest.
Thank you very much.

Parking ticket
On 6/21/23 I parked at a Diamond Parking lot (SD83) and scanned the sign to pay. At 3:31pm I got a "success" notification and took a screenshot of it. I also received a Parking Pass #[protected] receipt with a start time of 3:29 to 4:29.
I returned to my vehicle at approximately 4:00pm and found a ticket (#[protected]) written at 3:37 for no advance payment. I also have a picture taken at 4:02 of my vehicle and the sign I scanned, returning well within the allotted time frame. I called the number on the ticket [protected] and was on hold for 24 minutes without ever be answered by anyone. After I returned home, I wrote a dispute email to the address listed on the ticket on Monday, June 26. I have yet to be contacted regarding what I consider to be a erroneous ticket. I can only assume you are unreachable to wait out the 15 day time limit to pay the fine so that you can attempt to collect the higher amount after the 15 days.
I parked at parking lots all over Beverly hills, Hollywood, San Diego in the week I was in California and did not have one issue with parking payment other than this.
Desired outcome: Someone from this company to respond and for the ticket #[protected] to be voided as I have confirmation screenshots that I paid for parking.
I have resent my dispute to Diamond Parking Services and actually received an auto response that time but nothing the first time. I still have not been contacted by them. I have tried to call numerous times and have been on hold for up to 20+ minutes each call without ever being able to speak with a person. Absolutely no communication from them after multiple attempts to resolve this by me. I have documented all I have done to try to contact them and I will no longer make any more attempts.
Diamond parking
On 6/28/23 I was going to my nephews birthday party at Lasermaxx. I parked in the parking lot to the west of the building lot# B245. Upon pulling into the lot I noticed a homeless camp on the west side of the lot, once I got out of my truck I was approached by a homeless tweeker asking for money and wouldn't back up from me or my truck. After about a 5 min stand off he walked away and back to his pallet to sleep on in the diamond parking lot. I was so flustered I forgot to pay for my spot. Instead of patrolling for tickets they should be asking these people to leave to make the lot safer for their customers.

I parked in a parking lot managed by Diamond Parking Service in ***
I parked in a parking lot managed by Diamond Parking Service in ***. I followed the payment instructions on the sign located directly in front of the space I parked in. I paid $15 to park overnight from 5:51pm on Thu Jan 12, 2023 to 10:10am on Fri Jan 13, 2023. I received a parking notice from Diamond Parking Service at 9:20pm on Thu Jan 12, 2023which was well within the timeframe I had paid for parking. I disputed the ticket by emailing *** at 1:25pm on Fri Jan 13, 2023. The customer *** staff alleged that the parking lot I had "paid for was the incorrect lot for the one that you parked on." They offered to reduce the parking fee as a "one time courtesy." I followed up on Jan 15, *** as proof that I had followed the payment instructions correctly. Diamond Parking Service staff did not reply until I followed up once again on Jan 18, 2023, at which point they still claimed that the parking notice was issued correctly, despite my clear evidence to the contrary. I have not heard from Diamond Parking Service staff despite two follow up emails filled with all of the evidence needed to dismiss the claim in its entirety. Diamond Parking Service staff have consistently refused to recognize their mistake and continue to demand payment of an incorrectly issued parking notice. This is not only unethical, but also shows a concerning lack of staff training throughout the organization.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
On 4/17/2023 I was trying to get donuts from ***. It was dark, pouring rain and the parking was impossible that night so I parked on the side of the road behind KeyBank. When I came back a few minutes after, I had a ticket from Diamond Parking services (reference# ***) stating I had not provided advance payment. There were a few signs near other establishments, however nowhere near where I parked. This is not only predatory but also unethical. How am I supposed to know where the area of parking starts or ends when there's no clear signage? To makes matters worse, the notice stated that I had to pay $65.50 if I paid within the first 15 days or bump it up to almost double to $102.00 if I was unable to make the payment within that timeframe. I tried calling and finding a solution to this with no success.
I received a parking violation notice # *** on 13 May 2023. I am the resident of this building since over an year and never saw any signage saying it is reserved or something. It happened two times already and when I disputed earlier, they reduced the charge to about 60% and then I paid. This time they denied it and asking me to pay in full. We checked the location over and over again, and we were confused because the area we parked did not have any marking or an indication there was to be a charge. There should be notices in each parking section, as well as numbered parking so that we could know we needed to avoid parking there in our area. Please consider better signage and numbered parking spaces to make it fair and ethical. I have attached receipts of earlier two incidences, our lease to confirm our address and few pictures of where I parked, and it is not marked or indicated that it belonged to only the customers of that business. Please dismiss this ticket as I cannot afford to pay it. Thank you
I was issued a parking ticket (Reference # ***) at a Diamond Parking Lot located at *** 10th, 2023. I fully paid for parking in advance and should not have been issued a parking ticket. I immediately notified Diamond Parking the evening of May 10th of the error, sent them the confirmation email that said I had paid, and requested a correction. 1. On May 10, I emailed *** which was the email address that sent the parking payment confirmation. 2. On May 10, I received a response that said I should instead email *** On May 10, I emailed *** requesting a correction.3. On May 13, I received a request from *** at *** telling me that they needed additional information (including information I had already provided) emailed to a different email: *** 4. On May 13, I emailed the additional information that was requested to the new email at *** I have not heard anything back since then.5. On May 15, 16, and 17 I emailed requesting confirmation that they had received all of the information they needed and asking for a timeline for expected resolution. I have not heard anything back from any of my emails since May 13.
Hi, An out-of-town relative of mine parked at *** lot closest to the *** at the Wharf (Steveston) while making a purchase there. However, he appeared to not pay the parking fee for less than 15 min as can be seen in the attached files. Unfortunately, since Im the registered owner of the vehicle, Im now faced with a ticket from your establishment. The ticket reference number is [protected].We are frequent customers of both the restaurant and your parking services. This unfortunate incident is certainly discouraging, and we hope for a reconsideration of the ticket.Ive attached both the receipt and ticket for your reference. Thank you
We received this parking ticket on 3/25 for Parking Owed despite paying our fare and extending our time as instructed
We received this parking ticket on 3/25 for Parking Owed despite paying our fare and extending our time as instructed. Please review the parking ticket and our time extension confirmation below. Ticket #*** I contacted the company and they stated that I was parked in the wrong lot after taking 12 days and a phone call after my appeal. They finally responded saying they reduced my fee but I was still in violation but didnt say the violation. I called again and was told I paid for the wrong lot. There is no way I paid for the wrong lot when I scanned the *** code on the sign above my car and typed in the information off that sign plus my license plate number. The *** was already ridiculously priced and then to get a ticket despite renewing my parking appropriately is unacceptable. Also my ticket and none of my emails stated that the reason was related to parking in the wrong lot. If you are going to ticket someone it needs to state the violation as well as the person parking shouldnt be punished for following the signs above the spot. Apparently the sign above the spot might be wrong. In addition, if you *** the address of the lot we paid for you will see that it doesnt match the lot we were ticketed for but we paid for the spot we were in not the Seacoast lot. Again that is on the company not myself.Seeing all the reviews and contacts to the company on this website say everything about this company. Too bad people dont look up reviews on parking lots or this lot would probably doing business more appropriately!

I parked in the lot in *** near where the boat tours go out, I think it was maybe $2 per hour. Our excursion left late, so we returned late to a ticket for $51.50. This amount is *** - and considering that we immediately left and another car parked and paid for the spot, why such *** price gouging? I could see charging a high amount if the car was there for the entire day - it was not. Now I go to pay it and because it's over 15 days out, it's up to $80? Thoroughly disgusting to charge such a high amount - and I am sure most victims of this are vacationing travelers. Actual parking violations cost less than this private company ticket - this is price gouging gone wild. Disgusted beyond belief that this practice is allowed.
The location was not clearly marked. We checked over and over again, and we were confused because the area we parked did not have any marking or an indication there was to be a charge. We were not parked there long at all and came out to this notice. We were not parked anywhere near where the payment is required. There should be notices in each parking section, as well as numbered parking so that we could know we needed to pay for our area. Please consider better signage and numbered parking spaces to make it fair and ethical. I have attached a picture of where I parked, and it is not marked or indicated that I had to pay. I have more pictures, but I cant attach them to this form. Please dismiss this ticket as I cannot afford to pay it. Thank you
I was using the parking application to pay for a spot. The application payment processing looked fine and the payment indicated that it was "Done". When I returned I found a ticket for 6X the initial parking price. When I checked the application again, the payment again looked fine on the application with no error state on the user interface or a message that it had failed. This is a predatory business practice that allows them to ticket customers that use their application.
I received a ticket (reference#***) from diamond despite having a monthly pass. I have been parking there all year and a lot of money is deducted from my paycheck each month to pay for parking. I emailed to dispute the notice where I included a photo of my ticket and monthly pass but have not received a response. I pay a lot of money to park in the lot and I feel that if you can provide proof that you are a paying parking patron and have been paying for parking from them every month since September 2022 then to pay a fine of $65.50 in addition to already paying for monthly parking is pure extortion.
I parked near the Dicks Drive-in on ***
I parked near the Dicks Drive-in on ***. When I drove home I realized I had a Parking Notice from Diamond on my windshield with a ~$60 fee for failure to pay in advance.First, this is an excessive rate that far exceeds parking fines issued by the city. Second, I believe I was parked in a free customer *** space. I legitimately dont know if the error is on my end or theres. When I contacted Diamond, they initially told me a receipt from *** would resolve the issue. Fair enough. But when I attempted to go back and get one the business was closed for what looked like a big maintenance/renovation project. I then received an email from Diamond saying they will only reduce my fine to $50, and made no mention of receipts. I messaged them back to see if they will give me a reasonable one time reduction to $0 as I am not convinced I should have been charged to begin with. Maybe there are paid and unpaid spots there, but it was night and I only noticed Dicks customers only signs. As far as I know, no error on my end was made. However, if I made an error, it was reasonable and not an attempt to steal parking. I also paid for food. I never got a reply and now I see they raised the fee on the portal to over $100. All I am asking is to waive this notice once in good faith. I always pay for parking when it is clear I am supposed to. And, $100 to park for a $3.50 burger joint just isnt right.Im seeking a resolution whereby they waive this notice and I promise to ensure in the future that I am following all signs posted on Diamond lots carefully.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
On April 30 2023, I parked my car at a parking lot near ***, and I paid the fee for 2 hour parking and just around 10 minutes late back to my car. I got a payment notice(reference# ***) from Diamond parking service that I need to pay $65.50 because of no advanced payment if paid within 15 days, $102.00 if paid after 15 days. I don't think this is a reasonable charge. I've send dispute to the email address they provided *** but didn't get response.
Diamond parking service *** issued me a ticket in error as I was parked on an adjacent parcel of land to one they have a contract to monitor. The picture they have on the ticket clearly shows me parked at *** and I sent them a photo from the front of the lot to clarify this to anyone unfamiliar with the area. I sent in a dispute claim and followed up by email but the company is still demanding a payment that is not due and refuses to discuss to work out this simple error by their employee stepping over the curbs which clearly seamark the property line behind *** last email to them was You have a contract to monitor *** which is adjacent to the lot where I was parked. The yellow curbs on the right of this photo show the edge of where you have a valid reason to ticket. My original dispute photo shows the address of the building I was parked at. No payment is due.
This happened in ***. The ticket issuer issued a ticket while I went at *** to grab something. He even put the wrong quadrant (NW instead of NE) on ticket. I sent in the receipt, of the product I bought from a *** (which had day time time still set to winter, unfortunately). I was told I was there was more than an hour in the reply email. I called to explain the situation, and told them to call the restaurant to confirm their clock is wrong, the guy started yelling. Kept repeating "you broke the law" I was like "excuse me?" He says "you are not excused, this conversation is over" and hung up. I wasn't rude to him at all. Luckily he was hiding behind the phone, or this is something made me quite upset. The company need better transparency and customer ***. I will be boycotting the shops that use these people, and wont stand behind their customer against their scam. Ticket:
May 5, 2023 Why does the payment website say $47.50 when the actual ticket says $46.50. The ticket says it includes the handling fee. #
