Diamond Parking Services I went to park at a parking lot which I parked before

I went to park at a parking lot which I parked before. I did not see a sign anywhere that a parking spot is reserved 24/7 until I went back and found a guy taking pictures of my car and giving an $80+ ticket! The sign was on the floor painted which was that legible! For one, I did go and checked the "reserve for day care" daycare itself to check if they're open since I wanted to see the day care itself but since it was closed already-their hours are only from 9am to 1pm! I was there at 3:45! I know because, again, I wanted to see how the day care was and wanted to talk to them personally, but since they were closed, I went and looked around other stores around it instead, since why not know the place around it more and I was already parked. When I went back and asked the guy whats going one he rudely responded and shouted, "I AM GIVING YOU A TICKET FOR PARKING AT A RESERVED ONLY PARKING!", I wanted to give a reason but he walked away, on top of that, the ticket says, "I walked off!" I then called and tried to explain my situation, the *** then didn't really bother hearing me out and told me, "whatever...". I went to try to dispute the ticket from their website and it got denied almost right away. I called them again, and it's the same CSR who answered and told me that they have sent me an e-mail which I have checked but never received anything! I asked to have me transferred to a manager and she refused and refused to do anything. The parking never said, "reserved for day care 24/7". Why waste a spot on a busy area for a business that is closed at the time and then act as if they don't care about anything! I am not the only one who is having this issue. I have done research and this company have placed tickets on cars that are NOT on their lot even! They have been tagged as scammers! Which I am now slowly believing in.

We received a parking notice at 7:37 PM on April 22. We paid previously at 6:51 PM on April 22. After looking back at our confirmation email it seems my husband input my license plate incorrectly by one number. I emailed the email on the back of the receipt, but would like to be as productive as possible to avoid a late fee. Please consider our mistake. Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response. Have a great day!

I received a parking ticket in ***, *** on Friday, 4/21/23 from Diamond Parking Service. The time of notice was 4:01 pm, and my paid receipt, which was emailed to me upon payment, showed that I was paid through 4:30. I immediately called the number on the ticket, which was a sales pitch for low-cost insurance (I kid you not) with a quick "grab a pencil to write down the new phone number" message at the end. My husband called the number, which is also listed on the Diamond website. There was no answer. He left a message asking for a return call, which never happened. I called the other *** number listed on the website 4/24/23 - left a detailed message and asked for a call back to resolve the bogus ticket. Again, no response.I have filed a dispute with Diamond. This feels like a money grab on their part. Very disappointed in their lack of professionalism and ethics.

I parked in one of the parking lots and left my car for 3 minutes trying to make a quick purchase in a store. There was no other parking in the area at that time, so I had to park there for a couple of minutes. When I got back after 3 minutes, there was already a parking ticket on my windshield. Clearly, someone was watching me and gave me a ticket as soon as I left my car. This is very inhumane. I tried to explain to the manager that I was in a hurry and didn't know how to use the phone payment method. They kept saying no. So a 3 minutes park equals 65 dollars.

Diamond Parking Services Reference: Ticketed shortly after parking without prior payment

I received a parking ticket at 6:20 pm on 1/30/2023, only 10 minutes after parking, for not making an advance payment. The ticket cost is $66.50, increasing to $103.00 after 15 days. I parked at a lot managed by Diamond Parking, which offers a 2-hour free parking period. Despite multiple attempts to register my car for free parking via the Diamond app, which confirmed no payment was needed, it insisted on credit card details. There's no alternative method to sign in for free parking. In over four years as a customer, my parking duration never exceeded 90 minutes. Diamond Parking has a history of security breaches and unauthorized credit card charges. I avoid their lots due to these concerns. The app could be programmed to allow free parking registration without personal details. The current practice seems designed to collect fees unfairly. I consider this a violation of consumer rights and have disputed the ticket with Diamond Parking Services.

Diamond Parking Services On November 14, 2022, I parked in parking lot U009 at an undisclosed location

On November 14, 2022, I parked in parking lot U009 at an undisclosed location. There was a sign with a code to scan, so I scanned it with my phone and tried to follow the instructions. I somehow ended up with the option to request that my personal information not be sold. I went ahead and filled that out, thinking it was an optional part of the process. A message said I would get an email. I then started over and entered my information again, but it timed out while I was getting my credit card out. After the third try, I was able to enter my credit card information. I received a message that it was confirmed and that I would receive a receipt by email. It didn't come immediately, but I trusted that it would. My friend watched and said she had done the same thing, including having it time out. After I got home, I found an envelope on my windshield with a notice claiming that I had not paid in advance and saying I owed $51.50 if I paid within 15 days or $96.50 after that. I checked my bank account and the charge hadn't gone through. I checked for the promised email, but it hadn't come. There was a confirmation email for my privacy request, marked 1:07 am. I thought I had paid in good faith. I called Diamond Parking and explained what had happened. I was told that they would reduce the amount to $16.50, but they wouldn't reduce it to the original amount of $15.70. I sent a check for the original amount but it was returned, saying I now owe $21.50. I find this practice dishonest. It seems like they intentionally make it difficult to pay so they can bully people out of more money. I have a witness who saw me going through the same process she went through. I have an email showing that I requested that my personal information not be sold. If I didn't intend to pay, I wouldn't have given them my personal information.

Diamond Parking Services On Saturday, December 17th I parked in a designated lot at a specific location

On Saturday, December 17th I parked in a designated lot to use the sky train. I paid for parking, providing evidence of location, time, and amount. The meter I used was in front of my stall. Returning, I found an $86 ticket for non-payment. I disputed it with my receipt. Later, I was informed by email that my fine was reduced due to a payment error for a different lot. They threatened to revert the fine if not paid in 3 days. Calling customer service, I encountered rudeness and was told to ensure correct meter payment. Despite their email, the agent insisted on the full fine. Online, I found the fine was reduced to $56, which I paid. I request a refund as I did pay at the nearest meter, and the dispute process and service were unprofessional.

Diamond Parking Services I believe this business uses deliberately misleading paint in their parking lot and deliberately vague language on their parking tickets to

I believe this business uses deliberately misleading paint in their parking lot and deliberately vague language on their parking tickets to extract *** from people who believe they are legitimately parked. On 03/19/23, I parked at the western edge of a Diamond lot at ***. My friend secured payment until 6 am through an app on his phone. The app allowed an extension which he purchased for 6 am until 6:30 pm. The next afternoon, there was a ticket on my car. Under "Particulars" was "Improperly parked." Under *** on file" was a photo of my license plate. The fee of $65 (broken down as a base fee+handling) was due within 15 days, and $102 if paid after. I have several photos of my car clearly within faded but visible lines with a number 4 painted at the end of the spot. I followed the instructions to file an appeal by email on 03/22. This response included this instruction: "There is no ETA a resolution. You may call 10 days after submission to get an update. Late fees will be waived if your appeal is found in your favor. Please call *** if you want to follow up." The 10th day was on a Saturday, so I called on Monday, April 3, the first available business day. The employee looked up my case, agreed that it looked like I should not have been ticketed but explained that appeals went to the owner of the lot, that they were simply the managers. I received an email response on 4/04 stating that my appeal was denied to due lack of payment after 6 a.m., but they were reducing my amount owed and that I had 15 days from the original notice date to pay. I responded via email with an electronic image of the receipt for the 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. payment right away, demanding that the ticket be entirely cleared. Today (4/6), I called. The employee put me on hold. When he came back, he said he had sent an email confirming my ticket had been cleared.

Diamond Parking Services Hello,Diamond parking services is a private parking ticket issuing company

Hello,Diamond parking services is a private parking ticket issuing company. Today I parked in a lot of theirs (A369 - ***) that was marked for customers of dicks drive in with intention to purchase food, eat it and then leave.in the same lot is a pet store, which i stopped into before heading over to ***'s.Upon walking across the lot, I see that they have issued me a parking ticket, and I spoke to the person issuing it. She was in plain clothes sitting in her car. She told me that she or the security guard was watching me park and that the rule is that i cant step foot off of the property and so she waited until I did in order to issue me a ticket. This rule is not posted anywhere in the lot. The ticket itself does not show my car in the lot at all, it just has a picture of my license plate. I have a receipt from the ***'s drive in and submitted it to their company Their intention is to charge me $65, which will eventually be sent to collections. I looked online and there are a lot of people who report that this company has hidden rules and unmarked patrols to hand people invoices and threaten collections (damage to credit) to people. They have no physical proof that I was even there, but also no postage of the rules and no way to record or know my intention to use the lot properly. Both of the customer support people i spoke with said "yeah we know that this lot is particularly strict". The point being, I as a person who could be subject to that have no way of knowing that.I feel like i have no way to defend myself and my credit and that im being backed into a corner to pay for something that I thought I was obeying the rules for. This is unfair and I think if this is a common experience with this company they should be investigated and prosecuted for dishonest business practices. Even if I get this case cleared and their bill cancelled, I would still like to report this company.

Diamond Parking Services At about 1 pm on Dec 5, 2022, I parked in Diamond's lot G046.

At about 1 pm on Dec 5, 2022, I parked in Diamond's lot G046. The machines were slow and one was broken, causing a lineup to pay for parking. After the person ahead of me got his receipt, he noticed a Diamond attendant had given him a ticket. He complained, and the attendant agreed to cancel it. After paying $4.15 for two hours and getting my receipt, I saw the attendant checking my license plate. I approached my car and informed him I had just paid. He nonchalantly mentioned I was 'lucky' as he hadn't issued a ticket yet. My parking was valid until 3:05 pm, but I spent about 10 minutes at the machine and with the agent. Returning just after 3:05 pm, I found a ticket on my windshield, issued at 3:07 pm, with no attendant in sight. The $80 ticket implied a rate of $2,400 per hour for the supposed extra time. The appeals process on Diamond's website is not user-friendly for non-owners, so I emailed them with the details and evidence. The Diamond representative insisted appeals must go through the portal, so I bent the truth about ownership to file one. In my appeal, I proposed paying $4.15 for an additional two hours. Diamond's 'ruling' was to reduce the fine to $60 if paid within three days, or else it would double. This is unreasonable, and I urge Diamond to cancel the ticket.

Diamond Parking Services On November 28th, 2022 I parked in a Shoppers parking lot & went to go drop off my prescription to be filled & planned to pick it up later

On November 28th, 2022 I parked in a Shoppers parking lot & went to go drop off my prescription to be filled & planned to pick it up later. When I came back to my car I had received a parking ticket. I immediately called & asked how to appeal this claim as I had went to the business that owned the parking lot & was confused why I would have received the ticket. They had said to file an appeal online (which I did that same day) but I never heard back about the decision despite having checked online periodically. I then received 2 notices in the mail in January 2023 (received 2 days apart) stating that I now owe late fees on top of the original fine & will be sent to collections. I emailed the company asking why I had received the notices as I had never heard back on a decision of the appeal filed. I was then told they had emailed a decision letter to me on November 29th, 2022. I never received an email or a letter in the mail. I then asked how I can prove that I was at the place of business as the ticket was completely inaccurate since I was at the business owned by the parking lot. I was then told on the phone that I needed to provide a receipt with a time stamp to prove it. I told the guy that I had dropped off a *** was purchased at that time as I had picked it up later. The guy on the phone then stated I would have to pay the ticket unless I could provide a time stamped receipt. I then called the pharmacy to ask if there was any way I could get a time stamped thing from when I dropped off the prescription. Thankfully they were able to provide me with something but the parking company stated that the decision was final & even with the time stamped proof, Id still have to pay. I have paid the ticket ($111.50) to avoid being sent to collections & having my credit affected. It is completely disheartening that they are just after the money even with the proof that I was conducting business at the place that owns the parking lot.

Diamond Parking Services I am writing to dispute a parking ticket from Diamond parking dated 4/17/23, Lot A396.

I am writing to dispute the parking ticket I received from Diamond parking on 4/17/23 in Lot Location A396. The ticket reference number is missing. The lot is shared with a local burger joint, which I was visiting at the time. The lot is free for customers during certain hours, then becomes paid. The signs are unclear, and I thought I was in a free spot. The sign reads, 'Paid parking for certain stalls after 4pm on weekdays, all day on weekends. Other times for burger joint customers.' No stalls are marked, so I didn't know I was in a paid stall. It's unfair to claim an unmarked stall is paid after the fact. I checked for stall numbers before entering the restaurant and believed I was in a free space. I was inside for under 5 minutes and returned to a ticket on my car. I took photos showing my car in an unmarked stall and have attached these with a credit card statement of my purchase at the burger place. If the spots were marked, I would have used a customer spot. I shouldn't pay $65.50 for an unmarked spot. The lack of signage is the company's fault. I emailed Diamond the next day to dispute the ticket. After 10 days, I've had no response. The ticket will increase to $102 if not resolved in 15 days. I seek a resolution.

Diamond Parking Services On 9 December 2022 at 9:02 we self-parked at a hotel and tower self parking facility.

On 9 December 2022 at 9:02 we self-parked at a hotel's parking facility. We noticed the rates at the entrance, entered through a yellow gate, and parked at spot B266. After hotel check-in, we received a parking pass which we didn't use. Later, we found a parking ticket on our Acura MDX, plate BXZ5025, for unpaid fees and alleged improper parking, demanding $93 or $123 if delayed. We paid $23.98 upon exit and reached out to the parking service on 19 December. An employee promised to void the ticket with proof. However, we were informed that the ticket was valid but the fee was reduced as a courtesy. The company insisted on prepayment in the future, despite no clear signage requiring it. The ticket instructions contradicted this, and our car was correctly parked, contrary to the ticket's claims.

Diamond Parking Services I parked my car in the designated area on 85th in Seattle WA

I parked my car in a lot on 85th in Seattle. This is not a "for pay" parking lot and no signs regarding parking are posted, at least not any that are readily visible, I've never seen one if there is is. I went into the grocery store, made a purchase and came out to find a Diamond Parking fine tucked under my wiper stating that my car was "unauthorized" and that I had "walked off" the lot. The fine on the ticket amounts to nearly $100. Naturally I went back into the store to show them the receipt from my purchase and inquire about exactly why I received a parking ticket but got no explanation whatsoever from the young employee stationed behind the customer service desk. He gave me a blank form to fill in my name and phone number and told me that it "might be dismissed" but I went away with zero confidence that would happen. I have had several problems of a similar nature with Diamond Parking over the past several decades, e.g. I paid for a parking slot, they ticketed me claiming that I did not, I was ticketed, fined, paid the fine but the payment took several weeks "to process" after which time they then claimed I was "late in making the payment" and the matter was sent to a collection agency. One time they booted my tire when I paid for all day, got to my car after work, had to call somebody, wait for an hour for a guy to come charge me a second time for all day parking, then a fine, and then a fee to remove the boot from my wheel otherwise my car gets towed and I am then liable for towing fees, impound fees, more late payment fees, storage fees, etc. you get the drift. Another time I paid for 2 months in advance, still got ticketed. Diamond Parking uses PREDATORY TACTICS. They have for decades. If I recall correctly they have run into problems from the city for such business practices. Even when you pay them for parking they find a way to charge you again and again, blatantly and apologetically. This company has to be stopped.

Diamond Parking Services At 12:55 on February 4th, we parked our vehicle at a downtown location in Oregon, in a lot managed by Diamond Parking Service, to dine nearby.

At 12:55 on February 4th, we parked our vehicle at a downtown location in Oregon, in a lot managed by Diamond Parking Service, to dine at a nearby restaurant. The spaces at the eastern end of the lot were restricted to 30 minutes per posted signage, so we parked at the western end where the signage stated '90 MIN parking unless otherwise posted...violations $70.00.' We parked at space #, directly facing such a sign, checked all signs in the area and they all said '90 MIN parking.' At 14:25 we returned to our vehicle to find a Payment Notice demanding $86.50 ($80.00 plus a $6.50 handling fee) for '30 Minute Exceeded Time.' We checked again for any postings referencing a 30-minute time limit in this section of the lot and could find none. We took photographs of the signage and how our vehicle was parked. The photograph taken at 13:41, which was included on the Payment Notice, showed the same scene with no 30-minute signage to be found. Their photograph also showed a white van in space #, and the van was still there at 14:25 and it had not been given a Notice. We submitted an appeal, per the instructions on the back of the Payment Notice, together with our photographic support, on the company's website on February 5th. On February 6th we received an 'Appeal Denied' email with what is clearly a pre-written response, saying in part that the location provides ample parking with time limit greater than 30 minutes, and again demanding payment for something that is false. We feel that this company is just trying to grab money based on a trumped-up allegation that we have photographically proven to be untrue. Furthermore, the company is demanding an amount greater than what was disclosed on their signage. We are submitting this complaint to protect the rights of fellow consumers to fair and non-predatory business practices. We would appreciate the authority's assistance in resolving this matter.

Diamond Parking Services On August 14th, 2022, my son and I had lunch at a local restaurant for his birthday

On August 14th, 2022, my son and I had lunch at a local restaurant for his birthday. We parked nearby and returned to find a parking ticket. A notice from Diamond Parking claimed I owed $126.50. I dismissed it as a potential scam and forgot about it. Recently, I learned the fine was sent to collections. I had not received any calls from Diamond Parking or the collections agency. I had provided my number to both, so their claim of multiple calls is false. The parking lot was free, and I was unaware of any payment requirement. I contacted the restaurant, and they advised appealing to Diamond Parking. They refused to consider my appeal since it was in collections. The property manager of the adjacent building was unhelpful, and Diamond Parking wouldn't provide contact details for the correct manager. This seems like a fraudulent attempt by Diamond Parking. I'm seeking the property manager to resolve this, as the fine is unjust and would not stand in court. Diamond Parking falsely claimed they called me several times. They had actually called my ex-husband, leaving vague messages. I refuse to pay this unfounded fine and request its cancellation and cessation of collection efforts. Diamond Parking should have considered my clean record before pursuing this.
