loud arguing in the store with managers and employees
IMy name is Yvette Hurdle I'm a frequent shopper at Dollar Tree stores. But never have I experienced anything like I just did at Store #4615 1583 New Garden Rd Greensboro NC 27410. There were several customers in the store it is 18:14 on my check out receipt I was in the store approximately 20 minutes you couldn't even concentrate on shopping for all the loud arguing between 2 manager's and an employee. Their voices are so loud its very disturbing and very unprofessional. So I felt that it needed to be brought to the attention of corporate office. I have been sitting in my car for 15 minutes another customer has came out stated they are still arguing in thee store thia is ridiculous.
Highly disappointed customer.
managers bad customer service
I live in Hickory North Carolina I was in your store on Springs Road and Hickory this morning at 9:15 a.m. exchanging an item with the receipt as I entered the store the manager and three other employees was standing up front talking about their personal life very loudly which is totally wrong I proceeded to ask her if I could Exchange the idea she rolled her eyes told me with an attitude should just get what I want .. I remember her from working at another store Dollar General she had a attitude then and still has one. Your company must not have much to choose from but as a person that has been in retail myself for 30 years her attitude will put you out of business this is my opinion
no security and managers
My complaint is that I'm tired of seeing the same two managers. A young man name Justin and a young lady Iesha struggling day in and day out dealing with people stealing. You guys should get security at this Shattuck store. The stuff I see when I come. An I'm curious if you ever give them weekends off? They are always their especially at night time. You guys look short staff. This is a concerned longtime shopper.
Sincerely, Carol
racist employee tracy.
My boyfriend and I went to the dollar tree on kemp st. In wichita falls texas. At around 8:46 p. M. We had just walked into the store and apparently they were closing soon, and the check out lady 'tracy' (If thats her real name) was very rude and had a bad attitude. She screamed at me and told me to hurry up.
When we made it to the check out line and it was finally my turn, I asked tracy if she could double bag our stuff because we walk and dont drive. She rolled her eyes, and aggressively seperated my stuff into three separate bags.
So my boyfriend asked her why she was throwing our stuff around, (Considering we got eggs, which were broken when we got home) she then yelled at him (Tracy) - "if yall didnt come in so late then I wouldnt have to be in a rush"
(Steve my boyfriend) - "if you dont like working here you should go home"
Which she replied, (Tracy) - "if you dont like the service then you #### should go back to mexico"
We were both shocked..
We shop there all the time and have never had a problem. And he is darker skin toned and yes we are two men in a relationship, but that gives her no right to be racist and homophobic!
That was the worst experience we have had ever!
The store number is (1997) wichita falls tx. 3916 kemp blvd, suite a.
If you would please give me a call back at [protected] my name is kyle robertson
Thank you
the restrooms at the lincolnton location in nc
I have visited your store at 644 Center Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092 twice in the past month and the mens restroom was out of order both times. I decided to open the door and look for myself as to why it was out of order. Turns out there is poop all over the toilet and floor that hasn't been cleaned is WEEKS. The ladies restroom is just as disgusting and also needs cleaning desperately! This is absolutely uncalled for and there can be potential diseases in these bathrooms. Take care of this problem immediately!
employee
February 7th - The young lady in this store named Jennifer is RUDE. She doesn't acknowledge the customers and she needs improvements on her customer service skills. Long story short, she was sweeping and I asked her if this particular line was open, she never looked up and responded with, "Hhmmm, hmm" instead of a yes or yes ma'am. Strike 1.She came over, rung me up and I laid something to the side that I didn't want. As I'm leaving the store she proceeds to tell the lady behind me that handed her the item, "yeah, it's like to much to put it back where it came from". Won't be shopping there in the future. I don't do RUDE. I can spend my money in another Dollar Tree that has warmer greeters!
customer service
Date of incident: 2/23/2017
Employee number: N/A
Full description of incident: I recently lost a section of a wallet containing a car key and a couple of important cards. As I had shopped previously in the day at the Dollar Tree store in Lakewood, WA., I decided to go in person to ask if they had found a section of a wallet. The answer was no. Later in the day, I telephoned the same store and politely informed the girl on the telephone that I was recently there asking if a section of a wallet was found, before I could say anything else, she rudely interrupted me and stated "No, we have not found any wallet, there is no wallet here." I had to remind her that I was the customer and was not finished talking before she rudely interrupted me. She continued on stating that "I told you we have no wallet here." I again reminded her I was not finished talking (explaining I was in there earlier asking about the wallet is NOT asking about the wallet). I had to raise my voice and tell her I had a question. Finally she said "OK, ask." I loudly asked if she found a car key. Now, she did not ask me to hold to ask other employees, including the manager, instead she rudely said "No." And I just said thank you and hung up on her while she was blabbing about something else.
I would appreciate that this employee, possibly African American or Hawaiian/Samoan, gets additional training toward listening to what a customer is saying rather than assuming. If she does not understand, she ought to have the skills to ask questions to better enhance her ability to understand a customer. I will continue shopping there, however if that keeps up, I will take my business elsewhere. Being rude to customers, especially with something extremely important, for no apparent reason is unethical and unacceptable behavior. I demand this type of customer service be addressed promptly without further ado.
Thank you
manager/clinton
I shop at this store #4231 frequently as it is 1/10 of a mile from my house. Saturday Feb 18 2017, I purchased a lot of items as well as 2 birthday cards. One card was $1 and the other was .50 cents. When I got to my car I realized I had been overcharged. I went back into the store brought this to the cashiers attention and she called her manager. He told me the card was $1 . He never looked at the card nor my receipt. I told him this particular card was .50 cents. He continued to argue with me. I couldn't believe this was happening. He opened a register at this point as I stood there not real sure what to do. He ignored me as I tried to talk to him. Finally he took the card from me and scanned it . It scanned .50 cents just as I had said in the beginning. My feelings were hurt and I was embarrassed in front of all the other customers. I realize this was just .50 cents but it was also the principal. I was overcharged. I got my .50 cents but he never looked me in the eye nor did he apologize for the mistake. All I got a hard time which was not necessary. I run the Holiday shop at my elementary school and I have done a lot of business with Dollar Tree. I am shocked that you would employ someone like this. He was mean and rude to me. It will be a long time before I return to this store.
complaining about a manager who highly disrespected 2 customers.
I was in a dollar tree in Mobile Alabama on Broad street across from Bishope State College store number 10152 checking out at the regester and an elderly woman in front on me had paid with a check. When the cashier ran the check in their check machine it destoyed her check and it was the only one she had so they called the very rude manager over and he demanded another check, she told him it was her last one and your employees manager cussed at her and said what kind of person shops with one check? (LOUDLEY) The store was packed. The poor lady had tears in her eyes and was very emberest. I told him that no way to talk to old people, he said story out my business and (F) y'all.. I told him I was reporting him and he refused to give me a contact number and told both of us to get the (F) out. I had get a friend to look on the net for yall and call Trump. This is bad business and unexceightable... Call Me A.S.A.P! I'm Edward R. Kent. Thanks... The managers Jerris and that all I know.
management
The manager at the Madison, GA store is very rude to the assistant managers and cashiers. There has been several times when I've heard her cussing her workers out. She's not above calling them out or fussing at them in front of customers. There have been several occasions where she and another worker are in the front office yelling at each other. I understand now why so many workers have been in and out of that store now. The store is disgusting and the shelves are empty. I'm just sick of going in there and never finding what I need. All the workers are friendly except that manager. I feel so bad for the people working with her.
compliment
My family is from out of state and we were coming through Lincoln Nebraska and I needed to get a few things and we stopped at the Dollar Tree on North 27th Street. We walked in and the young lady offered me a cart and we communicated for a bit and then I went on my way. The young lady was putting things away and she had a smile on her face she was a delight and it was great being welcomed and chatted with and the same young lady that greeted me at the door was the same young lady that checked me out at the register. She was a complete delight. I just wanted to write about my families experience at this store in Lincoln and her name was Staci I had to look at my receipt for her name to give her recognition for her hospitality and positivity and then as soon as she checked me out then she went right back to work she was a delight and hard worker
cashier
We went to the dollar tree in markham illinois purchased a lot and i picked a pair of sunglasses out that i liked with no tag the cashier was very rude said well u need to go find the same pair with a tag on it otherwise u can not buy it he was nasty told him nicely well only pair well then have to pick out a differant one said thats ok didnt even say thank u or have a nice day sometimes i feel they are very racist in there so i may have to go to a differant one with nicer customer service. The cashier name was kyle
item on sale hershey's chocolate milk
I went to store #5160 first I would like to say that the shelves were not stocked they had the shipment still sitting in the boxes. I also purchased some Hershey's chocolate milk that was marked down to .79 . While at the register checking out the item did not ring up for the sale price so the person working the register asked for help from I assume the manager who was sitting in the office on her personal phone. While the manager was taking her precious time coming out of the office while still on her personal phone ( also the line is getting very long at this point) I walked back to the are where the sale price was hanging next to rest of the Hershey chocolate milk display and brought the price tag to the register. Once at the register the manager is still on her personal phone not even showing a bit of concern about the price mix up, the person at the register was apologizing repeatedly. Frustrated because the so called manager was not trying to resolve my issues and due to the several other customers waiting in line I ended up paying the full price and not the sale price even when the other customers had agreed that I should have gotten the item at the sale price. Not once did the manager or whoever apologized for the mistake . Needless to say I will not be returning to this store. If I am giving you my business at least have the common courtesy to listen to what my issues are.
unprofessional employee
I was at Dollar Tree #3124 in Austin, Tx at Parmer Ln. And Mopac/Loop 1. While waiting to check out in a backed up line with only 1 register open, the cashier named Ali on the receipt was talking on her cell phone while trying to check people out! She was a black girl. Completely unprofessional and frustrating! #1, cell phone time shouldn't be allowed except breaks, #2, other employees should be aware when another register should be opened because of long lines!
finger paint
I purchased finger paint today and did my sons foot prints and handprints and let him paint. He had the paint on him for 2 minutes max and then I gave him a bath and within the two minutes of him touching it, his skin is completely stained.. I've used different soaps, makeup remover and it won't come off. My son is BLUE! I got it on my skin and it's stained me too.
management
yes I am calling on the Carthage, Tx store 5727 I believe is the store number. the zip code is 75633.
The manager there(blonde hair in forties possibly maybe Debbie is her name) was BEYOND rude to her employee named Linda. Apparently the lady is new and messed something up and the manager started yelling at her in front of a line full of customers. Linda was trying to explain and ask a question and the manager told her she was not listening to anything she had to say. I have never been more disappointed in my life or wanted to never do business with a company before. If this was my grandmother or mother the manager spoke to like this I can promise you she would never see another paycheck from dollar tree again. This employee was elderly probably in her 60's and certainly did not need to be treated that way. As a manager you should know how to be professional and pull someone to the side and not do it in front of customers. As long as this manager is there I will not do business here. There was also a younger girl there maybe assistant manager and she was very rude as well. This happened today 2/14/17 about 2:45. Please take care of this matter.
Thank you

manager was beyond rude and unprofessional
ordered balloons for valentines day
I ordered valentine's day balloons at the mcalester, ok dollar tree last friday, today I go to pick them up and they don't have them. I filled out a paper friday with what I wanted and now they can't find it and of course they're out of what I wanted. Same thing happened last year. The cashier apologizes about it and I tell her they shouldn't take orders if they can't fill them and she starts to get rude saying she was trying to be "nice" by apologizing
cashier wasn't able to sell me products
I was told that if the coupon doesn't have the photo of the exact product that I am wanting to purchase, then that product can not be sold to me using the coupon. The coupon specifies that I can purchase any Tylenol product but it does specify below that it excludes certain Tylenol products; at which I was not purchasing that product that was an excluded item. I showed her that the only excluded items that can not be purchased with the coupon were those certain items, but she still told me she could not sell me that product with the coupon.

I am wanting an explanation as to why I wasn't able to purchase this item even though I was following what the coupon states what i can purchase and what I could not purchase with the coupon. I did not have any problems before purchasing the Tylenol item before now I do. Would really appreciate if I can receive a call back.
the manager dollar tree rocky creek rd macon ga
She curses and screams and harrasses people who have never ever been anywhere near her store. She trespassed on my father's property. I am submitting one of the pictures of her tag from Wilkinson county I think. I sent the pictures to my email address with the county name. You need to fire her before you get sued. If I ever have another run in with her, then I will be including pictures of her on private property and her vehicle on a private residential road and there were about 6-7 witnesses to her ranting. You need to teach her the laws concerning everything to do with her store.
never properly stocked
The dollar Tree at 5110 Summer ave. Memphis Tn 38117 has to be the worst one in memphis. They never have anything in it. But all you see is boxes full of merchandise in the aisles fill with stuff and workers pretending like they working. If one of those boxes fall on me we gone meet in person Mr. Dollar Tree. I'm tired going across town to shop. I'm going to contact you every week till this is resolved.
The Dollar Tree Store #05287 is just as bad. Aisles are full of clutter and a person in a wheel chair can not get down the isles due to boxes all over the place. At this store one assistant manager (Dottie) is very unprofessional and constantly is being rude and using profanity to employees and customers and their Corporate Office allows this.
