rude/disrespectful cashier and manager too, locking door @ 10 min. til closing time
PLEASE view the surveillance video at register PLZ, before it is erased time/date Wed Aug 1st @ 8:50, Manager had locked door and walked away, saw me coming...I looked at my phone and then asked the ppl standing outside havin just come out the door what time they had, "They said, "They" (workers inside) wanted to close 5 minutes early. The manager unlocked the the door as I stood there staring in, I grabbed 3 items...I began to count out change --the cashier was very very very RUDE RUDe--making disgustin faces at me and my coins as she-just laid it on big register area, I said I was a teacher and down to my last few funds as I laughed, smiled and was happy that I washed the coins with water and vinegar before I brought them because the coins were very really nasty dirty- Cashier Rudely and attitude said YEAH I can Smell it, , and proceed with attitude, rolling her eyes, smacking her mouth in disgusted and acted like she was not going to take it(my counts I counted out and had cleaned), but as her side kick friend manager looked oddly at her, Cashier snarled at me .Cashier said LOUDLY and very MEAN to me, "Ya KNOW THIS STUFF gonna have to go to the bank"!---she proceeded to not respond, as she was refusing to put in into her register as though she wasnt goin to take it (PLZ WATCh the surveillance VIDEO) I said serious, what ur not gonna take it...? Cashier crossed her arms at me as though, NO she wasnt as she looked at the manage standing at the door, Casher said, "UM YES YOU Can GO!...I said, where my recept, I'm not leavin without my receipt, ...Cashier grabbed coins forcefully off the silver register place as she throw them into her register, some actually going to the floor, she didnt bother picking them up and slammed the register closed as she handed the receipt I had requested, after, as I mention, she told me "i could GO"!, , , , , I told her I have never been treated as rudely by an individual---this explanation DOES NOT touch the just of how mean she was--- ...PLZ watch the store surveillance---she handed my receipt to me at 8:53, as 2 other ladies were standing outside wanting in...I will have to call tomorrow to explain fully about the horrid behavior the cashier displayed- (Her name tag said (TIFFANY) but the recipient(sales associate says) Casey.

On 08/01/2018 @ 4:45pm after working over 4 hours w/o my break I as informed I had to leave my shift was 12:30-5:30 the shift manager when I my shift started neglected? to ask me if I would like to leave earlier since there were to many hours used and Scott informed Millie to cut hours. I'm not sure this is kosher, can they change my schedule after it has been posted. W the evening shift manager handed me the phone while I was in the middle of a customer transaction and Millie was screaming at me where the customer could hear her. Also as a result I will be losing an hour on 08/03/2018 & 08/04/2018 is there a regulation in the employee handbook, also what can I obtain a copy? also Millie clocked me out 7/28/[protected]@ 9:50on but is actuality finished @10:10, she was worried the st.it's manager would get mad.

I went to Dollar Tree today, August 1, 2018, and it may be the last time I go for quite a while. It didn't take me long to get what I needed and check out. When I got to my car somebody had parked so close to me that I couldn't open the driver's door. She was way over the line. If her car hadn't been bigger than mine she would have torn off my mirror. I went inside and asked the only cashier if he was the manager. He said no. He was really busy since he seemed to be the only employee in the store. I went outside and tried to get in my car but it was impossible. Finally, I saw two women coming from the back of the store with a large wheeled cart. I asked if either of them was the manager. One woman pointed to the other and said "she is". I followed them into the store to tell the manager my problem. I was hoping she would announce on the PA that the person parked next to me needed to move their car. She wouldn't even speak to me. She told the other woman to take the cart into the back. She then ran over and started blowing up balloons (I'm sure that was really important). She kept turning around and looking at me like she was terrified I was going to hit her or something. She didn't want to hear my problem or try to help me with a solution. I waited almost 45 minutes for the woman to finally get to her car. I couldn't understand why the manager couldn't listen to my problem and make a polite announcement over the PA for the driver to move their vehicle. It was a simple request.
store being dirty
Went shopping at the Old Bridge Store today and I could't believe how filthy the store has become, it looks like the shelves and flood hasn't been cleaned in months, I also noticed the refrigeration unites had mold on the bottom of the shelves I don't know whats going on there but the Board of Health would shut the store down in a heart beat. I noticed that the shelves was disorganized and half empty also boxes were in the walk way causing a hazardous condition. I know Dollar Tree has a good product and has reasonable prices but people will not shop at a filthy store.

Why is it that there is more stock in the stock room than on the shelves. Week after week this store always has a stockroom overflowing with product and on Uboats than on the shelves. Yesterday it was pouring rain and at least 3 people at work no customers except me and possibly 3 more yet no employees were even trying to put out stock. I heard a manager from another store made the schedule for this location which does not make since since there is a manager at this store. It is really disappointing since it is newly renovated for it to look like this all the time. I sent you an email a couple weeks ago about the second issue and as you can see the Uboats and stockroom is still the same.

My husband and I went into the dollar tree in Baltimore md at Fallstaff shopping center. As I entered the store the manager who is an AA male he wasn't wearing a name tag nor would he provide his name anyway as I walked into the store he kept staring at my purse which made me feel very uncomfortable. I mentioned it to my husband and my husband stated don't worry about it as long as he doesn't say anything to you. An employee who is also a AA male heavyset. He was wearing a sweatshirt over his uniform so I his name tag wasn't displayed. Anyway the employee overheard my husbands conversation and approached my husband. My husband turned to him and said "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking about your manager." The employee started getting irate asking my husband did he have a problem with him. My husband told him that he didn't want any trouble and for him to leave him alone. The employee kept tryna get in my husband face talking about "we can take this outside and I could kill your [censored] [censored]." I immediately got between them and told the manager "sir it's not that serious have a good day. The employee still insisted on making threats towards my husband. I said to the employee "sir have a blessed day." The employee looked at me and said "you to and if you keep running your mouth you can get it to just like ur husband." I then proceeded to look for the manager at the front of the store. My husband located the manager and the employee in the back of the store. In the midst of their conversation the employee started squaring up at my husband telling him "we can take this outside." The manager began yelling towards the front of the store for someone to call the police because he wanted us out of his store. I proceeded to tell the manager what his employee said to us and he told me that I was lying. As my husband and I were walking out the store the employee was still yelling and and being very disrespectful to us and the manager was standing right there and did nothing or said anything to his employee. I have never been in a store and been so disrespected in my life I really felt my life was in danger.

Dollar Tree Store 2209 How can a multimillion dollar company allow there employees and customers be in a store with no Air Conditioner. I praise the people that work at this store. The young lady (Cher) working the register has a small fan to keep her cool. Its sad that your Co. do not care at all how hot it is. I tell you what you do go home cut your oven on stick your head in it that how hot it is in that store, I shop there all the time but I might have to take my business elsewhere since you don't care about the employees or the customers. Shame on you Dollar Tree.

I was in your store yesterday. There was a black lady with her small children blocking the path where you couldn't get by her. A older white man told her. " get your fat [censored] out of the way. ". Than a older white lady started yelling at him. The cussing than started from the man and white lady. The employees were watching not doing anything about it. I was scared that it was going to turn into a type of violence. I asked the employee to check me out and I left. I felt that YOUR STORE did nothing to protect the customer and the children. I think the cops should of been called and the man escorted out. There is a lot of crazy people and it could of turned out bad. I'm really disappointed in the way YOUR employees let him talk to the lady. I was offended and I'm sure everyone else was.

my toddler accidentally turn the power to a computer
So my toddler accideny turn one of the cashier computer on the middle of a transaction, i was going to apologize but the chasier was making a big dramatic seen so i didnt said nothing another thing is that as soon we walk out the store the mananager was with her and she was pointing at us and telling her stuff about us one thing gets me mad because i used to work at grocery store none of the checker are allowed to start talking about customers like that im really mad with that store never felt so descriminated like that cheker and mannager handle thing thats not the way yes I undestand my toddler did wrong but what can we do there kids and sometimes they run and cant grab them. I visited the Dollar tree today 7-29-18 around 530 in the evening... That store was Soooo Hooot you could not even catch your breath... I have MS and needless to say I left before getting what I needed... I was there several weeks ago and same issue...It needs to be closed if it can't be up to working conditions.. I really feel like someone from headquarters needs to pay this store a visit and see exactly what is going on... The gentlemen in front of me stated he had complained on several occasions with no response from your company... Please please take care of this serious matter for people with medical issues if no other reason

I arrived at Dollar Tree, Clinton Hwy, Clinton Plaza, Knoxville, TN at 8:51 on Sunday, July 29, 2018. Two smiling employees saw me and hopped outside and promptly locked the door in my face saying, "its 9 o'clock! We close at 9 on Sundays." To which I replied that it was not, in fact 9 yet, it was nearly 10 til. And they kept telling me, no! Its after 9! No modern phone keeps the wrong time so that in itself was farcical, and they behaved as if they were just joking and would let in after all as I said I literally needed less than 1 min. Then they walked off laughing. I went to my truck and double checked the time. It was 8:54 as I pulled off. I could understand closing early if I was polity given a reason why I could not be given 1 minute to shop DURING store hours if there is anything that angers me more than that it is employees laughing in my Goddamn face and teasing me while they do it! Have a wonderful day!

I was in the store on Saturday 7/28/18 @ approximately 3:30PM when cashier Christine or Kristine rung me up on her broken belt. She exclaimed "Can you get your stuff" in such a loud and disrespecting tone. Angry words were exchanged and she kept going back and forth with me. I told her manager (a lady) that her attitude stink, Kristine replied my attitude doesn't stink. Yet, another customer said she was rude to them last time they were in the store. The lady and myself said we will not be returning to this dollar store in Lansdowne PA. A man manager came out and apologized on her inappropriate behavior. She did not even have the decency to apologize instead she wants to go word for word with me. I will not be returning to any of the dollar stores because of this behavior. My money will not be spent in a store where I'm being disrespected. This young lady should not be a face to represent this company. You guys will continue to lose income because of this type of behavior. One bad apple does spoil a bunch!

I visited this location today 4/29/18. The cashier had a register problem. The manager did not provide her with any assistance in return she was very rude and disrespectful to customers. The manager did not try to assist customers that were already in line patiently waiting for her to come assist the cashier. The manager opened another line and left customers just standing in line. Her tone of voice and words of choice was very unprofessional and rude towards customers who had concerns if the register issue being fixed and why she failed to assist them first one she started to check out other customers. If had I have a choice I will not shop again at this location.

Went in to the store on 7/28/18 to buy some paper products. Had to wait at the door until a customer from the cashiers line checked out and was leaving. Walked in to the store was stopped in my tracks and was told to leave because it wasn't anymore cashiers so she was closing the store down. At this time it wasn't even 5:00 p.m. You had at least ten customers that had to turn around, the only Dollar Tree in the neighborhood.

The store manager in Newport Arkansas is very unprofessional. I was standing at an empty register minding my business on my phone. Another customer was telling me to get off my phone. I don't work there. She thought I worked there. She started yelling at me. So I snapped at the woman. Then the store manager didn't even try to investigate to see what really happened. She is not professional at all. Someone needs to check this place out. Y'all just lost a customer. I sho here regularly. Worst store ever!

Friday july 27, 2018 employee from tully road store in san jose, ca. Was scheduled to work six hours due to upcoming inventory on tuesday july 31, 2018. Freight manager vicky aka "juana" sent an employee maria to tell her co worker from hbc department that it was time for her to go home only giving her four hours of work. All the other employees weren't sent home but stayed to work, juana had told her boss that the employee asked to go home which wasn't true at all. This isn't the first time this has happened and is interfering with the employees work getting done. This isn't right in any way shape or form using her authority to mistreat any employee in such a manner making our place of employment uncomfortable when it shouldn't be. We're there to work and get the job done that's what we get paid for, we like our jobs and our co workers. Please do something about this we'd appreciate it very much. Thank you

In the Stuttgart, Ark USA store, about 3 pm, 7-27-18, I asked cashier Aaron why only one person was working on a Friday..There were over 10 people in line..He said "Thats just the way they do it" (I know its not)...He then said "It didn't matter to him how many were in line, he got paid the same for one or a hundred...And if 'People' didn't like it, they can shop elsewhere"...Me, and several in line, were shocked..One man did leave...The only other employee was the manager, in her Ivory Tower, ignoring and letting all the customers wait and did NOT come out to check...Hes right..I do NOT HAVE to shop there, and never will again...Too much competition in this town to put up with [censored] like him...Is THIS how you train your employees? SHAME on this store...I am disabled, in pain, and should NOT have had to wait, then be verbally abused...I will go on FB and Yelp and write a review...It won't be kind...

I visited the store located at 11027 East Freeway Houston TX on July 26, 2018 around 8:15pm. This store was locked down. Closed no one was in the store. Then went to this same store today around 5:30pm today July 27, 2018 and the manager on duty has on black tights and tank top. The restroom was horrible looks like someone used the restroom on the floor! This store has went down totally. The district manager needs to be fired. After learning that she is over two stores that's down the street from each other.

At approximately 4:00 pm I was in line at the Dollar Tree located at 912 E Swan Creek Rd. I stayed in line for 15 minutes along with 10- 15 customers. The line originally had 20 customers in line.
One customer knocked on the office door. The manager was in there while there was a long line and there was only one cash register open . She came and opened a register about 7 minutes later. When I finally reached the front of the line, I asked her why it took so long to open the second line. She stated she was dealing with an employee. She made excuses and no apologies for her high level of incompetency and lack of professionalism. She asked me, what would I have done? I could have answered the question. However, she is getting paid to manage and she should do that-manage.
In her defense, has she been trained to deal with these simple but daily management challenges? Has she just moved up the ranks because she is a long term employee? I have witnessed another store in the same strip shopping center go out of business because of poor customer service and competition. The way this store is run, it definitely has potential for failure. Sometimes there is a delay in poor customer service and drop off in business.
I would love to see the manager properly trained. I would love to see the store prosper because we don't need another empty commercial property.

I'm writing to make a complaint against your manager- Tom at Dollar Tree - Northwood Plaza in Fort Wayne IN.
1. He is always Lazy & not willing assist anytime you come in the store.
2. Tome needs some cultural diversity training.
Today on 7.27.18 I came into the store Tom(Manager) was behind the counter & there were no customers. As I stand in the aisle trying to get the detergent off the top shelf, one fell on me. I kept saying excuse, I need help Tom just looked waiting for the customer to walk up to the counter.
When I stated Excuse me the 10th time, that I need help getting something off the shelf. He then stated, that I would have to wait til he's done with the customer.
So, I asked is there anyone else in the store that can assist me? There was a young worker just sitting in the office, that came out to help get item off the top shelf. I told them it was really about customer service. As I went to get in line, the line had reached 12 people with me being the 13th person& it continued to grow Again, I said to Tom. excuse me, but can you call anyone to the register& he said to me, "YOU ARE JUST GONNA HAVE TO WAIT MY WORKER IS OUT TO LUNCH."
The worker's lunch was up & there was another worker just sitting in the office.
I said what about the gentlemen that just helped me? Then Tom started making underhand comments, like he was being picked on & the customer he was working with wanted to tell me to shut up. After a whole morning & afternoon of Chemo& having been a regular customer in the Dollar Tree - Northwood Plaza in Ft Wayne Indiana. I never had any problems. But when Tom came to the store the courtesy & mannerism of the staff changed. Many of the new ones follow his lead of not wanting to help the customers.
