Fake DU recharge link
This is regarding du recharge online scam. I tried to recharge my number using du recharge online link. After I entered all the details and bank details then I have OTP. A huge amount deducted from my account. Once I gave the bank details the scam is happening. I recharged for 30 AED but I lose 3792 AED. So please be careful while recharging using du app. There is a fake link.

If I would have options for 0 star I would have rate 0. I had asked for a cancellation for home wireless service since Jan but they haven’t cancelled yet instead they are sending me the bills of 2 different bill of internet charges when the router is not even in my home.I have been to du center more than 10times so far, transferred the call to head office but no changed. Always same answer you will recieve a verification call in 24hours for cancellation but nothing changed. That 24hours is continuously from Jan and this is the month of March.
Last week they cut my internet saying that over due then I explained that overdue is from the second router and I refused to pay but the agent said if I want to continue the internet I have to pay though the router is not in the home.
I don’t have a time these days but soon I will be escalated this issue to UAE police that u guys are forcing me to pay the bill when the router is not even at my home though I have asked to cancelled that internet from the month of Jan.
Recommendation: Think before you choose.personally I wouldn’t recommend.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE REGARDING HOME INTERNET
once moving to Dubai we purchased home internet via DU . The router that arrived did not work so the same day we canceled it . The company promised to pick it up. We were waiting for 1 month NO ONE WAS COMING AND THEY ISSUED BILL THAT WE DID NOT HAVE TO PAY. I brought this router myself to the nearest DU shop in Dubai hills . The manager over there confirmed that only now the contract is closed . So guess what we had to pay 1 bill just for them to leave us alone , taking into consideration that we did not use their services at all. That manager said now we are free , we don’t have to pay anything else. But I STILL WAS RECEIVING THOSE BILLS. I made hundreds calls where they assured me that the problem is solved . 5 month later I receive a new bill and the customer service tells me that my account still IS NOT CLOSED.
It is already making me go crazy. I leave requests and then they promise to call back and apparently it takes up to 7 days.
Such a disaster and a mess from the first day.
I would never recommend DU at least as a home internet to anyone since in case you will have any issue it will be impossible to solve it.

No words to say. Stupid service only I can say based on your mail dated 27.09.2023, I paid the contract exit charges as specified in my agreement, along with the final bill to settle any outstanding charges on my account. I also followed the instructions provided by your company for account cancellation by sending a written request via mail, as well as an official letter, to ensure that the account termination process was executed correctly. It has now come to my attention that I am still receiving bills for the aforementioned account, even though I have taken all necessary steps to terminate it in accordance with the contract terms and your company's instructions. This continued billing is not only causing me financial inconvenience but also raises concerns about the accuracy and reliability of your company's account management. I kindly request that you investigate this matter promptly and resolve the issue by canceling my account as originally requested and cease any further billing. I expect that any erroneous charges billed after my account cancellation date will be promptly rectified, and a confirmation of the account's termination be provided to me.

The employees of the company only promise every time that the issue will be fixed during 24 hours or that the technician will call within 15 minutes, but the internet still doesn't work. During 9 days the technician didn't visit the apartment, the company didn't fix the issue! I paid for the internet but I receive onIy promises.

I got Du 199 plan. It's showing 5G and from very first day . I didn't see 5g blue light. I called several times customer care and they are saying we are doing trouble shot. Nothing happing. Double charging
I have been double charged by Du on my account. I have emailed Du customer services and was given reference 1-[protected].
The issue started when i upgraded my account from Home Wireless Plus to Home Wireless Entertainment. They gave me a different sim and informed me that the previous sim will be automatically cancelled. But it is not. I complained already via emails dated October 9 and 10, 2023. They told me to go to the app and ask for the cancellation of the original plan. When I tried to do that, I was being charged for early cancellation fee of AED 581.20 which is not acceptable.
Desired outcome: Cancel the original sim and return to me for the payment I made for double charging.
My number is deactivated with no reason for more than 3 days!!!

I was called to upgrade for the new router at the end of the one year contract ( 199). The Agency responsible told me that the old router will be cancelled immediately as I received and activate the new one. Surprisedly I'm receiving a double bill ( 417) since 03 months. I have sent messages to agency as to Du customer service without any response. How can I pay 417 when I'm not even able to 199 alone? This is an abuse... how many customers are suffering of it?
Changing plans
I applied for a new connection for my apartment and I asked for a connection that has only Internet but no other add ons. No-one let me know that if I need fixed line I need to have the phone connection as well. Anyway they delivered wireless connection after multiple calls and when I tried to cancel the connection and replace it with fixes line from Du, I was told to pay 1700 to change plan. Multiple complaints and visit to Du customer service center in Dubai hills, no one authorised to waive the payment and I get a call from Du yesterday saying no resolution, I will still have to pay. Now I'm stuck with a connection that I don't need and have to pay for a year without even seeing a contract or T&C for my purchase. Interesting that they don't share a copy of a contract with customers before getting signature for delivery.

I bought this plan online stating that it’s up to 100 mpbs speed , so I got it installed 2 days ago >>> and it’s slow and keep cutting off , i called the customer services and went online to cancel , instead they tried to push me to buy more expensive plan “ as a solution for the slow internet “
