DU Du is a very BAD customer-oriented company.

I tried to cancel my plan and clicked the plan cancelation button in the Du application. And the plan is not canceled after the action. I have to wait for the cancelation team's call for 2 days. But I will leave the country tomorrow and will not be able to receive the call. Even if I visit the main Du office personally they cannot cancel my plan during my visit. I still have to wait for 2 days call from the cancellation team.

It's nonsense!

In my home country if I visit the operator's main office any changes are made immediately at my presence in the office.

Desired outcome: Perform changes immediately if a customer visits the main office.

Even if I visit the main Du office personally they cannot cancel my plan during my visit. I still have to wait for 2 days call from the cancellation team.

It's nonsense!

In my home country if I visit the operator's main office any changes are made immediately at my presence in the office.

DU Du home wifi

The worst customer service I ever seen really,

My mistake is I brought the du service for WiFi

For selling the WiFi the sellers are everywhere in road corners but now i need to cancel it am trying for 3 months it's not really simple I went to all the branch's of du store and all the numbers of customer care once I said I want to cancel they made me wait for 1hr in call I have all the screenshot for this 3 month I have waited like many hours in call

Still now I didn't get single response now I decided to make this du down in all the social media and this is the only thing I can do at least I can stop 10 people from this scam

DU 1.[protected] DU cancelled on 22/08/21 since 1 year,torture mails saying level action keeping my 200AED deposit in hand by DU

I had given1.[protected] Du telecom cancellation on dated 22nd August 2021 after cleaning my dues and payments, reff no. 1-[protected] , now I need to receive a 200 AED back from DU which I paid as deposit 5 years back.

Since now no actions taking, calling from UK but no one is answering from cancellation department,calls on hold for 1 hour n more.

Now getting torture mails like they will move legally. So please recommending every one not to take a Du telecom anymore.

Irresponsible team and uneducated People in customer care.

DU Home TV subscription

I wanted to cancel two of my add-on services. While you can subscribe via app, you cannot cancel and have to go through customer service which is an absolutely awful experience.

Called du, the lady who picked up didnt even know what subscription meant. She transfered me to cancellations teams. Waited 30min, call dropped. I called again and got put on hold for another 20min and got dropped again, after 3rd time, i finally got the cancellations team who finally cancelled my subscription. I then got an email later stating ive been subscribed to a package! The cancellations team had ONE job - to cancel my addon, instead they subscribed me to something else. I dont have the patience to deal with Du anymore. I finally used my patience to unsubscribe to all package (this was again after spending 30min on 2 calls to do this), and I am never subscribing to another package again, given the nightmare the unsubscription is!

I guess we will not be watching the upcoming cricket World Cup on OSN anymore, cz I cannot deal with the cancellation of the package once the worldcup is over.

DU Insult and bad behaviour . syeda

hello,

iam shah khaleel my mobile number [protected]. i had a call from syeda your customer service agent. she is misbehaviour with me and insulting to me .

when i took her call in the afternoon she is toooo fast expaining i did not undersating any thing. when i say to her plz can go slow down and explain you are calling from ? she is saying to me you dont know english . what the f... how can she say this. what kind of customer service agent you have . because of lady i discennted the call.

who ever calling to any one first we will explain calling from where and which reason . how she explaing tooo fast which you dont understand . and after that insulting with words for i dont know english . even iam talking with english only.

i will kik out this kind of empolyees from my company.

you guys earning from us . you should respect us . if i complain again her for police regading insulting and misbehaivor. can i do this.

DU Home Wireless

Good Day,

My name Syed Afzal Hussain residing in Ajman. I was using du fixed service and account id: 1.[protected]. In this service i was getting internet and landline for 283 AED. When my contract was over du people contact me for new offer of home wireless for 299 AED and 250mbps speed. They installed wireless router but the speed is even less than 50mbps. despite of calling and sending voice messages no action taken. My mob num: [protected].

DU du refuse to cancel my mobile contract - SR_[protected]_203280

I asked du to cancel my mobile contract since May since I am in UK and not coming back to Dubai. They asked for my Visa & EID cancellation and Exit stamp. I explained to their Customer Service that I am in the UK and do not have these. Their Customer Service confirmed this was ok and just to pay the latest bill plus one month cancellation fee which I did. However, they are still refusing to cancel my contract so they can keep charging AED236.25 a month!

April - I left Dubai and live in UK

May - My residence visa expired

July - My company terminated my work contract and cancel my residence visa

DU Du 12 month contract vs their support

I've taken a 12 month contracted du sim card a few months ago. Last month I was in my home country on vacation. I lost my du sim card and my emirates ID as well. I came back, now my emirates ID is about to expire so i'm applying for a new visa instead of getting a copy for my existing ID (shortly I dont have my emirates ID with me). Day before yesterday 31/07/2022, I called du customer care number, they told me to visit any nearest du branch and they will help me.

I even took my passport there with me so that they will help their customer of 3 years.

umphhhhh.

There was a phillipano in deira city center branch who is handling tickets there, so rude, he told me to go to any main head branch like Dubai Mall or Mirdiff Center. I went in dubai mall one and the ticket man there is saying who told you to come here. :(

(This is DU Telecom baby, you definately will be disappointed).

Now while being in Dubai Mall I called their support again and they were still good at their script to visit any nearest du branch. Very sad moment for DU, What a reputation to leave behind.

The support girl there, she had only one script that you visit any du branch, she repeated this for around 20 times while ive wasted my 10 minutes on just telling her that im outside of your head branch in dubai mall. Lastly she told me to tell ticket issuer that I want to see a manager there.

I did and met with manager. He was morally good, wasn't rude but also haven't helped me.

Now my du bills have already exceeded 1055 AED, today I called them again to freeze my account so that there wont be any bills comming any further.

I even asked them to terminate my contract. They won't terminate or cancel my contract or even give me a duplicate sim card without my emirates ID.

This is a huge disappointment for DU. They are even a stain on the reputation of this so great and beautiful contry Arab Emirates. Appologies.

DU staff isn't trained to help their customers, they are well trained to grab customers in their 12 Month Jail which they call 12 month contract.

(you decide, is it fair to wrong your customer like this? Is it the way to take money from your customers?

If I don't pay any additional amount from 1055 plus one month panelty after 12 months then what?

This is just a white colar crime in my visions that du is comitting)

DU Billing Department

so i basically was trying to pay my home wifi bill when i mistakenly paid into the wrong account by a digit. when i woke up i realized the mistake and contacted du. this payment was made on the 9th of July and my bill is due on the 27th so i have been calling the customer care every day for the past 2 weeks to get this issue rectified. but i simply found out they create ticket and close it later telling me that the billing team tried to contact me. which obviously is a lie as i did not get any call from them nor did i miss a call .i have sent them my proof of payment several times showing i paid into the wrong account as i transferred the payment via my bank app and yet they simply do not call . 2 weeks and this little issue has not been resolved.

They really don't care about their customers nor prioritize in sorting the issues i mean does it take 2 weeks to sort this kind a issue.

but i spend my work time calling for this to be rectified consistently 30 minutes or more every day.

Desired outcome: i want the money to either be paid into my du account or refunded back to my bank account.as well as an apology from the billing team as they lied they tried to contact me which they did not.

DU Insult and waiting for a resolution not to say bribery

This is the first and last time to suggest du to anyone… The customer service is awful and they have no basic education about how to handle customers nor their issues. I have never heard such insults from a supervisor over the phone. I will consider what happened to me as a bribe until my money comes back to my account… I have chosen a one time purchase package from the application that stated 6GB for 30 days which means that it is a one time service. This was done on the 18th of June. Before adding another package, I have checked the app and found no active services nor found new data added. As a result, I have added 212 dirhams to opt in a new internet package.. 55 dirhams were deducted on the 24th of July without my permission nor with receiving new data… I called the CSR and stayed with the agent for 60 minutes asking to escalate it to a supervisor as she had nothing in hand. The supervisor rejected my request 5 times stating she was busy. I insisted and then i was transferred to a supervisor names Islam who works in Al Salam building in dubai… I have informed him about my issue and then he said with a very sarcastic tone that there is no issue and that he will simply raise a complaint. I have not asked for a manager to tell me how my issue is a minimal issue and I should accept the glitch that has happened.. I felt insulted from his attitude.. I asked him to follow up on the case as he told me that the data will click in max in an hour. He stated thet If it didn’t click in, call us back as we have other customers to serve… Do you expect me to stay staring at the screen for an hour to check if the service clicked in? ( This is paraphrasing what he said? I told him i am a customer and My issue is still pending. Then, if as a customer I am not important then i need another manager to speak to as i refuse to be insulted. He said that this is a personal insult and he doesn’t accept it… He kept on talking non stop telling me that I am not listening to him… Why would I listen to someone who is belittling me and my issue? He seemed to be sitting on the beach enjoying his time and forced to take calls… There was no empathy nor good solutions that would make me feel understood… He even hung up the call at the end.. I had 3 calls today, 2 agents were very polite and I was apologizing to them that I took some of their time and one manager who made me feel very bad as he insulted me and gave me no explanation to what has happened. I couldn’t see any basic training for the supervisors on how to support customers nor to show empathy for their issues. Thank you DU… I will always remain an ETISALAT customer….

DU Du home wireless plan [protected]

Hello sir

Today i received my plan du home wireless bill that is illegal.as per your commetment i registered a complaint against this account but within one week no one responded and take any action regarding technical support.thats why you committed to me if due to technical issues i will cancel your plan without any cancellation payment fee they why you send me bill.please settle my account number as soon as possible.i have all mail and conservation recording between me and your executive.its your fault no one come and fixed my problem.

DU Refund

I cancelled my account on 20th May as I had to leave the country. they asked me to make next month's full payment as it will refunded after the dues adjustment which I did. I paid 2 months payment approximately AED 1760.

Now after 2 months, after numerous follow ups, there is no refund. They send a stupid AUTOMATED REPLY that the team is investigating it and the issue will be resolved asap. I don't understand: 1. what is taking so long? 2. what is asap for them?

they are so quick in taking money but when it comes for refund, they don't care and they don't realize they lose the customer forever.

I bought a new connection before 17 days 199dhs plan 100mbs speed

But its totally fake

The speed is not more then 5 to 6 mbs

And there customer care servises very cheep

I am trying to improve my speed last 10 days

But nobody giving me positive response

Its very sameful for Du

DU Business account

It has been almost a month we are waiting for Du company to reconnect our lines which they disconnected after their agent caused us a huge issue when sold us the package and used what appeared to be a not legit document during the process of opening our account so she could cut corners.

Nevertheless we have resolved that issue 3 days after the disconnection and yet here we stand almost a month now with staff 4 mobiles and shop landline as well as shop internet disconnected.

Extremely unprofessional staff we went to Dubai mall branch 3 times spoke to managers and yet till now no one is able to do anything helpful and our business remains to take heavy financial losses because of the situation.

Our lawyers have suggested us to file a law case since this is against the consumer rights as well as their own bonding contract. The most frustrating situation we have ever faced in the UAE however we will make sure it will not slide un-noticed.

Desired outcome: -continuation of the services as soon as possible as to control losses.-refound the bill of the disconnection month.-full investigation.-compensation to our business losses.

DU Worst customer service

I visited du Mall of the emirates on 24th Jun 2022, between 5pm to 7pm with ticket# L5227.

I have waited for almost 2hrs to wait for my turn, then finally after long time, my ticket number was called however the staff was still with the client when i was about to go at counter 17. So i went back and waited more time for them to finish. The staff might press again the next number maybe by mistake, then this client's with next number and I came on the same counter, I showed my ticket number to the staff but he told me to wait because there is another client, i told him that he called my number first but he was still assisting the previous one.

This is really unacceptable to choose the next client while I told him that It was supposed to be my turn. Instead of informing to that client that he ll be the next, he said it to me!

So what I did, i had waited again.

It took so long time to wait for them to finish, I went near that counter for the staff to be reminded that i was there, because he press again the next number while he already knows that I was waiting. When I was standing infront of the counter, this staff was with his colleague, he might mentioned to him bout me by pointing his finger on me, and he was telling me to relax! How could this staff pointing his finger on the customer and tell to relax for what he did! This kinda insulting.

So what they did, I was assisted by his colleague, but then this staff whom im complaining came on the same counter to try assisting me while there was his colleague already attending me. We told him that he can leave since it's in other counter with his colleague already assisting me.

The reason why I visited Du is that I just wanted to finish my postpaid plan which is going to end mid of july and not to renew, since the Du staff in abu dhabi advised me to come to du before the end of my contract, because in my previous plan when i finished my contract it was renewed without my notice, i went to du to asked why and told me that I should come before end of contract to inform that I ll not renew. I left no choice but to continue the plan which was renewed since i dont wanna pay for cancellations.

So I visited today, however now the staff is saying different information, that I should come after end of contract. This is worst customer service. I wasted my time to wait for nothing due to staff misinformations and staff discrimination!

DU Customer service

I wish if there would be a negative ranking for such pathetic customer service du is providing.. all they want is to rip off their customer by looting them… i have 2 business lines with them.. i have been paying double amount for internet from almost 1 year for one business and it looks like they purposely do not want to resolve my problem to make more money.. i have a cafe too. they sold me some stupid plan where phone work with internet and most of the time internet does not work so i am loosing alot of customer as they can not contact me over the phone..

I wish if there is some legal way to claim all these financial damages..

DU… the most pathetic customer service provider and their partners are equally useless who do not know anything about resolving customers issue

Du hidden charges and bad customer service!

We ask to connect wifi for our new place, we got a plan of 349aed with 2 months free of charge.

When we met the guy staff from du, who will connect the wifi, the contract says that we need to pay for 200aed for router rent, and end up no choice but to sign the contract even we ask the customer service Luqman that if you are not willing to pay for the router then we need to remove the wifi. Just imagine that you make us pay for 200 not notifying us the whole details, plus bad customer service.

DU Home Wi-Fi

I have taken du home wifi on 10th march 2022. As per du agent Mr Ravi for disconnection with in one year i have to pay AED 200 extra as fine. But i disconnected on 15 the April 2022 and paid fine of AED 400 and total AED 578. After that on 17 th april i got a confirmation from du. In that clearly mentioned there is no any payment in next billing cycle.

But on 1st may i got again aed 208 bill. Actually i not liable for any bill as per confirmation mail from du.

Du is a trap they are trying to make money any way. There agents giving wrong information and offers to customer to sell product's. Customers is the victim's. I will complaints in consumer court against agent Mr ravi and against du.

Desired outcome: I need to get removed the the wrong billing of Aed 208 and agent Mr Ravi mobile no 056 5406065bhas to be punished.

DU Customer Attending

Mohamad Afzaal, a customer attendant at the Du Main office in Hamdan Street Abu Dhabi, treated us very badly. He has no manners for customers. At the same time, I witnessed him misbehave with many clients, even an old woman.

Desired outcome: I never suggest anyone go this service center.
