two items that were stolen out of my carry-on luggage
I recently returned from new zealand ek449 auckland/dubai a21.45 on 6th december 2016 and then ek501(?) dubai/london gatwick on 6th/7th december arrive 11.40.
I had a handbag and a carry-on zipped up bag containing an i-pad and a kindle. When i got home in the uk i realized that they had been stolen.
I did use these pieces of equipment on the auckland/dubai leg of my journey. This means that they must have been stolen at dubai airport. I am saying this because i did not open my carry-on bag during the dubai/london gatwick flight.
I wish to make not only a complaint but also a claim for these stolen items.
The cost of these items as the market stand is a combined cost of approximately £500. Five hundred pounds sterling.
I look forward to receiving your comments as soon as possible.
transfer wheelchair persons
After arriving in Dubia from Perth Australia, we were placed in a lounge for transfer (disabled) to await transfer to flight to Newcastle UK. We were assured we would be collected at a certain time, which did not happen. I approached the desk on numerous times to give them my concern that my departure time was very near. They were more concerned on who was going to work overtime, and talking Amongst themselves.. Finally arriving a the gate, it was about to close, and everybody was on board the Aircraft. This action was totally unexceptable, Having the Best Airport in the World is one thing, But certain staff need to understand the importance of Customer Care, and ensure they carry out there tasks

I received automatic PC answer. That's how the Management resolves the client's problems in Dubai airport.

Despicable airport. How these people claim to be people of God is beyond me. The way they treat women, especially young solo travellers is appalling. Even the women staff are just as bad as the gorillas in uniforms. All balls no cock! I was ignored, shouted at, ordered to sit, stand, shut up in the most aggressive way possible. I hope I never see these people in England, or intact ever.
I just travelled from Pune-India to Dubai on 29 .01.19 and returned on 1 .02.19 on Spicejet Airlines .
When i reached dubai airport, my bag was missing .Ground staff at Dnata told me to make a complaint and they said that the bag seemed to be interchanged . My PIR No : DXBXH 38848
I had to travel to Fujairah same night and was there for only 2 days for business meetings, it was hell lot of problem/inconvinience for me .
I had to followup with DNATA and Spicejet office several times and finally Spicejet could identify the passenger who took the bag and was asked to return the bag which they did on 31.01.19
Since i was leaving Dubai on 1 Feb 19, there was no point to come from Fujairah all the wayjust to collect the bag and travel next day .So I came to Dubai Airport to claim the bag in the morning on 1 Feb 2019 by 11.30 am
When we saw the bag at Left Baggage DNATA, the lock was broken and when i checked the bag, few gift items and cash kept (for emergency ) were missing .
We were told by DNATA staff to file complaint with Spicejet and Dubai Police .We met Mr Vinod at spicejet office and alongwith him, also met the Dubai Airport police .
Dubai police tried to call the customer who had taken the bag and returned, but obviously they denied of removing the cash from the Bag .
Neither Dnata, Spicejet or Dubai Police took our complaint in writing .
For Spicejet, they just say that cash / gold is not our responsibility but they failed to respond as to answer how anyone can just take the Bag and cause us problems for their mistake and how can things be stolen from the bag (irrespective whether its cash or anything when the bag is in their custody ).
Ideally the customer should have returned the bag on his own, knowing it was taken by mistake, without opening the bag .However, spicejet people had to call them and tell them to return the bag which they did after 2 days .This itself shows their intentions.
The Bag was with the Spicejet ground Staff, Passenger who took the bag and Dnata Left Baggage till we got the bag . Its really necessary to find the culprit and should be heavily penalised all our lost things should be recovered .
If this is being done at Spicejet Ground Staff, then theres a big racket behind this which should be nabbed urgently.
We request you to look into the case and help us .

rude security and immigration staff
The security and immigration staff (specially the Arabs) at Dubai Airport are extremely impolite and arrogant. I understand that they have to run their security checks, but they can be polite in the way they talk. It took me 2.5 hours to get through the "Eye Scanning", and while we were standing in the queue, the security staff even shouted at some people...

the lady staff at dubai international have no manners how to treat passangers.
we were told to have a body scan, we went through once and it beeped. we were told by the lady staff to take our shoes off, that wasn't a problem in taking our shoes off the problem was how she spoke to us, her exact words were "oye take ur shoes off" i got extremely angry and tried to explain too the lady that a little politeness won't hurt but instead she started arguing and made it as if it was my fault. she took my passport and took it to the airport police. the police was no help as they didn't even listen to a word i said. the lady staff just said all sorts in the language i didn't even understand. anyways the conclusion to the whole situation was that they gave me a warning for something i didn't even do and they didn't have the cursity to even listen to a single word i had to say.
it just shows u can't stick up for urselfs now a days and if u try to ur the one who will get in trouble.
come on men of dubai try teaaching ur women some manners and respect for other people, it will help.

I wish to bring to your attention that the the staff at the Dubai International Airport are very impolite. They don't answer questions they just dismiss you. If you attempt to ask for the Second time, they get annoyed. I cannot understand why these people are even employed if they cant even assist a Passenger. I also feel that the eye scanning for busine...

There is no use of complaining this department its useless because its own by government and you know how it works, the employee might be a relative or known person to any senior officer that is why he act like boss, if it is in india i would have kicked him at same time. They dont know about customer servise only they carry the name. They do the work as if they are doing favour of free. Any way take it easy, God is great!

On Wensday 3rd of February 2010 my mother Liudmila Evseychik had a flight on TG 518 Dubai to Bangkok. I, Alla Khrapovitskaya was accompanying my mother to check-in counter. The queue was moving to slowly and we were called to check-in silk counter (business class).
Staff at the silk counter Behzad Asadollah refused to check-in my mother because she had a return ticket to Dubai, but had no visa in hand. Behzad allowed himself to speak with us very rude.
I tried to speak to with supervisor of Thai Airways and was advised to purchase return ticket to Russia (home country).
I rushed to Dnata ticket counter to purchase return ticket Bangkok - Moscow.
After returning to silk counter Behzad counter was empty but he refused to check-in my mother, and Liudmila checked-in with next sitting Behzad employee. I am surprised how can staff at check-in counter refused to check-in passenger.
Because, of the nasty behavior of Behzad Asadollah I desided to write a complain letter to Dnata Management. I started writing the staff (Behzad) name on what he started to shout loudly why I need his name for, I was not answering to his shouted question, and we was hiding his budge from me. However, I had explain that I am allowed to take his name to write a complain against him. He became more nervous and told me that " In the street a lot of ladies like me". What did he mean by that words? Does the staff allowed to speak with the clients, passenger in such a rude way?
Also, surprised me that none of the staff, even the shift supervisor was closed by, but no one has react and stopped rude behavior of Behzad.
I went to security Police and explained all happened situation, Behzad refused of saying all of that. I had a conversation with shift supervisor, but not sure that he will have a talk with staff employee.
I am very disappointed with Dnata service, such a big company has staff employee who allowed to talk to a passenger in rude way.
Till today I feel very bad and sad and have to send complain letter to Airport Department.
I am requesting to take video recording from Airport security office to prove Dnata staff nasty behavior with the passenger at the Dubai Airport.
Looking forward hearing from you.
Best regards,
Alla

loss of cellphone
I travelled from SYDNEY to EBB with Emirates Airlines on 10th May 2008. I had a 24-hour stopover visa for shopping in Dubai. My journey with emirates airlines is still in mind. The kind people and the services are not comparable. I even became an emirates emergency doctor on DXBSYD flight. I really will not fly with any other again.
BUT on my way back on 12th May (Monday) after checking in at the departure terminal and after immigration, some security personnel at the last check point towards escalators down to the main terminal disorganized me and i forgot my cellphone in the container through the scan. I reported the matter at the last gate before boarding to EBB, but was promised that they would find my phone and send it to me. I contacted emirates officer at EBB Airport, and has sent several mails to the headquarter but in vain. Please can you check for my phone and send it. I know by now the power is down. so many thieves in Dubai Airport. My husband lost gold coin from his purse after scanning. It is open already but he is on a hurry so he did not check if he lost something. When he landed he try searching for the gold coins but its all gone.
Forget only if you must because other than forgeting your valuable items, there're those illicit shame-faced thieves whose prayers focus on any property incuding those under strict supervision. To crown it all, Mr Hassan Nasereddin's bag fell in the hands of the innocent while poor Dr.Bakehena's phone landed unsafely.More often than not, lost items, despite announcements, remain sorrow-cupfuls.My appeal however is that professional characters should desist from such acts of taking that which belongs to a client to maintain the image of their companies.

I have completely different experience than Mr. BAKEHENA FRANCIS XAVIER DR, as I was travelling from Dubai to Kuwait on Wednesday, 7th, January, 2009, taking flight number EK859, when I reached the boarding gate at the new Terminal 3, I discovered that I left a duty free bag with one bottle of Perfume in the new Business Lounge upstairs, which I bought from Dubai Duty Free when I reached the Airport, there was no enough time to return back to the lounge to get my bag (distance is a bit far), so I informed the Emirates sataff on the boarding gate, within 10 minutes, I noticed one Airport security staff running towards the gate with my forgotton bag,

poor customer service
I had a flight on the Nov 3th 07 from Dubai to New york jfk in Emirate airline. i had the worst customer service. a supervisor name Ghulam who worked that night at the luggage and checking passports was very unpleasant, very mean and unhelpful. He treated me like nothing. I was disappointed from Emirate airline. He charged 159$ extra for my wife's luggage which i had to check them in, because Dubai airport had new law for the luggage transfer. I explain to Ghulam to help and understand the situation but he did not care so he charged me which i think it was not a right charged.
Treated poorly by the staff and manager
I had to wait for my order for 2 hours
I'm now in terminal 2 departure gats f
The maintenance staff insist to keep one toilet closed from total of two for the entire place which is over crowded order the traveler to go to the next one which have I is full of people waiting for vacancy to enter .
In inhumanity way .
Thanks
While boarding spicejet 23.10 flight to Delhi on 18/2, I was subjected to abusive behavior by person frisking. I was pushed repeatedly behind the metal detector and addressed in a threatening, insulting manner. I complained about it to police incharge present there who showed no interest. The whole incident was shocking and humiliating. Pl enquire
Four days ago I went to Nadra for the renewal of my ID card. I lost my receiving slip. I heard that some one is travelling to Dubai on my identity. Please take action. I am uploading all photos of my original credentials.
The cordial dubai immigration officers need to more sincere about stamping on passport. They are very much capricious about this. They not follow which page have space more to stamping, they use new and several pages. One time I requested to use a page with number but the officer replied " its my duty ".
I hope you understand.
Sir,
I had booked a ticket to travel through airindia express and I was planning to carry a 55 inch led tv. So regarding the baggage information I called the airport office numbers - [protected], [protected] multiple times but no one attended the call and I had a hectic time leaving back my TV. My pnr number is :EDNMVU.
They did a complete body scan I am ok with it but they did it brutally without any respect treating me as I am a terrorist or a thief. No politeness and very rude security force keeping Dubai will be a non friendly city
There are 6 place and each point has around 7 connection point to charge mobile
In all 6 charging point maximum only 2 charging point is working. Rest of them not working
even on the pillar there is a connection to charge. even there as well it's not working
this is not a complaint. I have lost a pearl bracelet yesterday 15 May and think that I dropped it at the airport. I had flown from Birmingham to Dubai and then transmitted to Mauritius. When I was on the plane to Mauritius I noticed that my bracelet was no longer on my wrist. I do hope that it has been found. Regards Jill Castling
I agree dubai customs are the worst ever. Its my first visit to dubai and im 22 i went with my brother and two sisters i was wearing my hoody jeans any a t-shirt with my new trainers in other words i looked like a drug delaer or someone who is up to no good well thats what dubai customs thought i felt so intimitated as i am no were near the sort. As i arrived in dubai with my brother and sisters the customs checked our passport and gave me a awkerd look the officer pointed to his mate and said him with the hoody take him with you, i asked what for he ignored me and i was led of to a room and my family were left at the baggage collection area as i was sat in the room mthe man asked me to empty my pockets i had my cigarretes and my passport on me, he looked at my cigarettess and asked if ive ever smoked weed or marijuana i was shocked and said what gave you that idea he said because you smoke now that really got me angry. The officer then asked me to strip off so therefore a strip searched can be carried out. Once this was done i felt ashamed that my privacy has been taken away from me. once this was complete i met my family and we colletced or baggage and headed for the door but i got stopped again not my family just me was it my appearance? The man asked me in a rude manner " GIVE ME YOUR PASSPORT " he than asked me which one is your bag i pointed this to him he than scanned my bag through the screen once this was done he passed the bag to a lady in customs who was sooo rude it was unbearable. She checked all of my items one by one as she was checking this she started to smell my clothes then laugh to her mate and said something in arabic i could tell she was laughing at my clothes, she then asked me "did you wash your clothes" i was like beg your pardon then she said "you heard" ... Now that is rude after checking everything they made us wait for about 30 mins more then eventually they let us go but still gave us funny looks. This has been my worst trip ever its more like hell on earth i wish i could procced this further but its like they dont exist.
bad treatment by emirates securities in dubai
W: MANJEZI / S MRS You’re Ref. DXB/X/HG/100707/6576074
On the 24 June 2007 at around 7am from our flight JHB connecting to UK flight we (myself and my 9year old son) were travelling on school holiday from JHB to UK via Dubai , securities at the boarding gate to UK stopped us and asked where you going? For what? Where’s your id, driver's license and old passport, I did not carry those documents as we had our passports, they asked me questions like where do you get money to go on holiday? Why don’t you stay in SA? Looking at my bank statement where do you get this money? Who’s his father? How much cash have you got? They asked me about the visa, I told them I do not need a visa I am a South African and even showed the email from UK embassy, they then took it, Who's Makhaya Ntini? Sing your National Anthem after responding to those question they ignored us for hours, they even changed shift, I cried and they said UK official will interview me and they won’t let us go if I cried, and no official came and after some hours when I asked the reason I was told to wait, I could see there were not flight to JHB and they said we should go and sleep at the lounge and at 22H00 we should go and report at the boarding gate for our flight at 23HOO all this time they kept our passports. All my hotels were booked and attractions in UK return air tickets were paid, Even my hotel and visa for Dubai We were going to spend 2nights on my way back from UK was confirmed and paid for. I showed them the proof. When I send a query to their customer service they refunded me R4741.14 for the ticket and R2100.00 for the stopover and I used R25000.00 when I complained about the amount "Lynne C. Sandys, Customer Affairs" told me I do not appreciate and I flew, I told her I was not going to Dubai that time and her reason was "Our Security personnel were informed by the ALO that you would not be allowed to enter the UK without a UK Entry Clearance Visa from South Africa and, therefore, you were to be returned to your point of origin, that is, Johannesburg" they could not provide me the name of the person who gave that ruling and they never spoke to any UK official. “I have got her response” All I want from them is my money or fully paid trip (AIRTICKET, HOTEL ACCOMODATION AND ATTRACTIONS)
We contacted the UK embassy; they told us they never received any query about us and they never gave that ruling. The securities even lied about our flight to JHB and said it was at 23h00 and we should board at 22H00 they told us to sleep at the lounge, they kept our passports, I called the SA embassy they were told there were no flight and they agreed that no UK official interviewed us, only on the 25June at 10H00 I booked at the Dubai International hotel and we were deported on the 25 June 2007 on the 10H00 flight.
Above is their ref number.
