0 stars. I had a home visit scheduled for Monday November 21 between 2-5pm. I took a day off work to get my broken appliance fixed. But the company didn't show up as of 545. I tried calling them but their phone is going straight to voicemail and they haven't returned my calls. Thanks for wasting my entire day Efficient Appliance Repair. My experience was anything but EFFICIENT!

My oven broke right before Thanksgiving Day this year. We had to use our air fryer to bake everything. We called Efficient Appliance Repair and the guy came to fix it. He made sure that his work was safe and secure so he wouldn't have to come back and fix it again. He even fixed our refrigerator door for free because he noticed it wasn't working well. His price was very reasonable and affordable. If I need repairs again, I'll call him.

I called a few places to fix my ice maker and Efficient Appliance said they'd come out the next day. Other places were way out, like weeks. Plus, most couldn't get the valve to fix it for over 2 weeks. *** from Efficient Appliance had the part and was out the next day. He charged me less than half of what others were quoting me. He knew his stuff and was a pro. I'll for sure call them again for any appliance repairs I need.

Last year in November, my GE fridge/freezer's freezer side light went out. I had a hard time finding my warranty info and when I finally did, they were booked for a month. So I searched online and found Efficient Appliance Repair in ***. I called and *** said he could come out that day since he was in my area. He arrived on Nov. 28. Instead of replacing the LED light, he switched it to the fridge side where there are 2 lights and moved the fridge light to the freezer. Smart move. Now I have light on both sides but still no new bulb. I made the mistake of writing a check for $?, which he cashed that day. He promised to come back the next day with the bulb, but I never heard from him again and I still don't have a replacement light for my fridge.

A technician and his assistant saved my life! I found my fridge in a big puddle of water late at night, which was a big shock and not fun at all! I threw some sham-wows on the floor and then found Efficient Appliance after an internet search. They actually answered the phone even though it was very late by then and came to my house right away! They arrived soon after I finished mopping up the water and using a sponge to soak up as much water as I could from the catch tray underneath where I could see the water was filling up & spilling over. They went to work right away and had it fixed within an hour! No more flood in the kitchen! They replaced the housing for the fridge's water filter that had cracked and said it could have been much, much worse if it had gone unnoticed until morning. Whew! Thank you, Efficient Appliance team, you saved the day! Thank you!

Efficient Appliance Repair fixed my dryer when my hubby called them. The repair guy, "***", came on 10/18 and checked my dryer. He said we needed to order a part. My hubby also asked him to check our icemaker, and he did. We needed to order a part for that too. He only took cash or check. When I was writing the check, he said he had a 'stamp' so I didn't need to write the name in. But he didn't use it. Later, I saw that the check was written to ***, who I don't know if they're part of this company. I paid $1093.00. *** hasn't come back since.

I called Efficient Appliance cuz my dishwasher was broke and needed fixin'. Some dude named Mark (or Larry, I guess) came over on January 13th to check it out. He said the noise was comin' from the motor and put some grease on it. He said it should stop makin' noise after a few runs. I thought it sounded fishy, but I didn't know nothin' about dishwashers so I trusted him. After he left, I asked for a quote so I could get it fixed under warranty. But they never sent it to me, even though they promised they would. So I gave up and called another repair service. The new guy who came out said Mark (Larry) was a scam artist and showed me a video of him gettin' arrested. I don't think I'll ever see my $87 again, but I hope the ComplaintsBoard.com can do somethin' to stop other people from gettin' scammed by Mark (Larry). -

Don't even think about using Efficient Appliance Repair or Choice Carmel Appliance Repair. I had a stovetop repair on May 17 and Larry said he would take it home and have it back by Wednesday or Thursday. He never followed up and after calling him several times, he finally returns more than a week later. He charged me roughly 75% the cost of a new cooktop to replace two knobs and the original problem wasn't fixed. The stove burner keeps turning itself on. Although he gave me a 1-year warranty, he told me he couldn't find the correct replacement part. I told him to send me proof he spent $175 on parts and I would accept $200. He hasn't sent me that proof yet.

Efficient Appliance Repair, or whatever they call themselves, took my family's money and ran. We needed our built-in microwave/oven wall combo fixed, so we called them up. Some guy named *** came out and said we needed a pricey part, which we had to pay for upfront. So we wrote him a check for $343. He said it would take a few days to get the part, but it ended up taking way longer. After a month of waiting, we asked for our money back. He said he'd give it to us, but it's been almost 3 months and we still haven't seen a dime. We've called him a bunch of times, but he never follows through on anything. Don't trust these guys with your money.

I had a good experience with Efficient Appliance Repair. Tried to make an appointment but their voicemail was full. Found NoblesvilleApplianceRepair.com instead. Got Kenneth Hope as my technician. There are some bad reviews on Google, but Kenneth was nice. He said they bought Apple Appliance Repair. They might also be Mark's Appliance Repair or Next Noblesville Appliance Repair. All have similar reviews. They took our money ($200) and didn't finish installing our dishwasher. They missed many appointments and never called. Kenneth said we needed a new water hose and never came back. We got someone else to install it. We asked for a refund and threatened to write a bad review. Kenneth said he would bring a check but never did. We just want them to keep their promise. Use them at your own risk. Find a company that respects your time.

Efficient Appliance Repair came to my house on Dec 9, 2021 for an oven fix. They looked at my double oven wall unit and checked the error code that I told them about. They said the top oven fan needed to be replaced. They called their wife/owner of the company to get the new fan. They left and came back the next day to install the new fan. After installation, the error code issue continued. They said they may need to order a new touch pad. They left and 10 mins later called me and said their wife had texted them a "fix" she found on the internet. They started the lower oven self-cleaning option and clicked a few key presses on the key pad. The oven then began to work. They charged me $515 for parts and labor and only accepted cash or check. They wrote the check to themselves and never stamped it. They said there was a 1-year warranty on all their work. The oven stopped working a couple of days later. After several phone calls and texts and a month later, they came back out to see that the issue with the error code persists. They said they were going to order another part and were going to pay out of pocket themselves. 20 days later, several more phone calls and even further texts and they still have not come out. It is now Feb 21, 2022, and the original call for service was Dec 8, 2021. After speaking with GE and a tech they sent out, it seems that Efficient Appliance Repair should have changed both upper and lower fans and that they install them in pairs. Apparently, I paid for 2 and they only installed one. Chances are that they use this tactic to have spare replacement parts on hand. The fact that they are circumventing using their business for signing checks is fraudulent.
