Homeowners beware - I recently hired the company to manage my rental as I had moved out of state. Repairs were needed and I was given a $7500 itemized quote. I paid and was informed the work was done. New tenants moved in and when I contacted them to welcome them, i discovered the little work that was done was terrible. The tenant and I tried to work with the manager and his contactor and it went from bad to worse. I finally told him I no longer needed his service at which point he became rude and refused to return my 7,500 dollars. He also refused to show me the paint, the baseboards, the doors, the lights, and the 6ft ladder (etc) I had supposedly purchased. Then the renters had already paid the next 2 months in rent and he refused to give me the rent money. I later discovered the "contractor" doing the work came with his crew which consisted of 2 sons and a nephew none of them had ever done this type of work before. He was long time friends with the property manager and he also made the female tenant very uncomfortable when he was in the home.
Claimed loss: $7,500 + 2 months rent @ 2,600 = $12,700
Desired outcome: Have the company investigated . Had I not reached out to the new tenant and let the manager handle everything this would have gone undiscovered
