On Sept. 22, 2023 I thought I was making a reservation at Travelodge in Perry, Ga. When I checked in I found out that I had made the reservation for Sept. 29, 2023. The clerk of the Travelodge told me to cancel it and they would send a refund.I immediately did so and paid the hotel for the night. The first reservation was paid to Expedia for $89.06 and charged to my Discover Card. I waited for my refund which never came. I contacted Expedia through a chat and was told that Travelodge’s do not give refunds. I then contacted Travelodge Corp. and filed a complaint. I then was contacted by Travelodge in Perry, Ga. The bookkeeper there told me that Travelodge did give refunds and that Expedia had tried to pay them with a Mastercard that I no longer had. Travelodge was never paid by Expedia. The Travelodge told me to contact Expedia because you had my money. Now I need you to refund my money. I have not contacted Discovercard for a refund because I expect Expedia to refund the money. I hope to have my refund soon from you.
