Experian contract

I was charged $24.99 for something that I didn't ask for. They offered a $4.99 charge to check my credit scores. That's all ! Then a few weeks later, I was charged again another 24.99 for three months of their service. I didn't ask, nor did I want this service . I didn't call because the wait was over an hour on the phone.
I have written them a note asking them to refund this amount, and am waiting for a response .

Experian charged me $21.95 for the last three months and now they only want to refund one month

I was looking at me bank statement and noticed a charge for $21.95 and saw that it was from Experian. I called and after waiting a very long time a very nice lady. I asked for a refund ad she said she can only refund the last payment of $21.95 I told her I wanted the entire amount. She asked me to wait and again after a long time the supervisor got on the phone . She told me that one month is all she can do.

She did give me the department that I now have to send an email to and ask for my money, and they will decide if they will give me my money.

Trying to get the one report per year free report is very difficult. It should be simpler. Instead of trying to make more money by charging $21.95 for a membership to the reports.

Also have you ever tried to correct your report. It is very difficult. First you have to find the website to do it.

And why are there three companies doing this report management. One would be enough. And to make it easier to get you report and report errors.

Hiram

I found out through about 3 to 4 other free credit report places online that Experian is showing TransUnion and Equifax credit scores lower than they actually are on other sites or them sites themselves. I went on credit sesame and credit karma just to name a few and transunion and Equifax credit scores we're higher and the same on both of them as they are on the actual sites then what is on Experian. Experian lies about your credit scores because they don't show what transunion and Equifax is actually showing your true score as they give you the lower one so you have to stay with them. Cuz I'm credit karma and credit sesame my credit scores are higher than what they are on Experian which is weird. Also I had been using the free Experian basic and I hadn't been on it in like a couple of weeks and I tried to log into it after I had went to my other credit sites they wouldn't let me log in to my free account they said I had to pay $24.99 to get all the premium features and all that so I paid the $24.99 and it didn't give me the three credit reports from all three credit bureaus with the FICO scores it told me I had to pay an additional $29.99 to see all three and the FICO scores. And that was supposed to be included in the $24..99 price. They're rip-off company that don't really want to help nobody but make money for themselves.

I too am having a same issue. after Deactivating my account with Experian, they continue to charge me $24.99 on my Visa card. I am calling BOA to block them from charging me. I could never get anyone from Experian on the phone...it had to be done online.

Experian unauthorized charges to my checking account

I Kylor Baker, received a bank notice of my account being in the negative I went to talk to someone at the bank who could explain what had happened. I was told that there were charges on my account, when I examine them it was from Experian, starting back from January 2017 to June. I was given the number to call, I spoke to a man, whom did refund the month of June. He also said that I was to go online to customerbillingexperian and do application to receive the rest of the refund. In which I did so, but I could not locate any form. I have called back, now to hear that my money will not be refunded. I would like to get this resolved, I have not signed up for program and nor do I want it. And the supervisor Demaura was very rude!

Experian Member service and dispute department

Name: [removed]
Membership ID#: [removed]
Phone Number: [removed]

I called [protected] to see why my credit score decreased 11 points from January to February and I was transferred six different times between the Membership Services team and the Disputes team, which is Very Poor customer service especially for service that you are paying for. I had to ask to speak to someone in management after speaking to the 5th person to get this issue escalated. The six people that I spoke with on the phone, which I was on the phone for over an hour finally escalated the issue. I am in the process of purchasing a home and for Experian to not have answers of why my score decreased and they are the ones who decreased it is ridiculous. I would like a resolution very soon or I will be reporting this to the CFPB.

Experian Scam!

I joined Experian Direct Direct several yrs ago opting to view my monthly report for $9.95/mo. During the sign up process the site was taking exceptionally long to process information I was entering and in navigating from page to page making me think my computer had frozen. I clicked around on the page a bit & somehow wound up being redirected to a page where I was signed up for Skype international. I thought I was still signing up for Experian. I wound up having to dispute charges for that with my credit card company but chalked it up to my own impetuous nature & not having waited long enough for pages to load. After a year I was looking at my credit card bill and noticed I was no longer being charged the original rate I had agreed to. That rate had doubled with no notification from Experian Direct. I called them to cancel my account and was made an offer to stay with them that was just below the original rate. I agreed. Everything went well for the next year or so. Then I got an email from them telling me that my credit card was about to expire and to please log in to update it. I was able to successfully log in, but was unable to navigate to any page. I kept getting a hijack page telling me my credit card needed to be updated & to click here to update. Each time I clicked I would get a box telling me something went wrong & to contact Experian Direct. I tried to call them but they are only open during times when I am sleeping or working (I work nights.) I logged out & logged back in several times, each time clicking on a different option at the top of the page that came up before the message telling me something went wrong. The only option I was able to navigate to was one to "Get your 3-Bureau-Report" and Fico Score. There were no options on that page to navigate to the page where I could update my credit card info. My only option was to click here to view report. I did not have to enter any credit card info. I did not have to check a box agreeing to terms and conditions or agree to any additional charges. The report did come up and there at the top of the page was an option, finally, to view my account information. I updated my credit card and was about to log out when I noticed that, once again, my monthly rate had doubled. I logged into my credit card account and, indeed, my monthly rate had doubled 2 months ago without any notification...and I also had a charge of $39.95 for a 3-Bureau-Credit-Report. I immediately sent an email to cancel my account and dispute the 3-Bureau Report charge. My response came several days later. It stated that because the 3-Bureau Report was a one time report that I had viewed they would not refund the charge for it but they would be happy to cancel my account for me. Dissatisfied? You bet.

Experian Lies,lies and more lies.

These places are a major scam. I can't believe the government promotes these three crooked reporting bureaus. They have a monopoly and are screwing the consumers. The information they have is not even legit. They are so many inaccuracies. This place does not protect consumers but protects the owners wallets. If you have a problem with their information you cant do anything about it. They will ignore you and the people who work here will make your credit worse.

They also outsource by hiring incompetent Indians, so if you call them you won't understand a word they say. Also who is to say these random Indians couldn't hijack your information including credit card?

They charge you for things that are free. And mess up your credit because of their incompetence and greed.

These are the people we turn to in order to protect us? what a joke! Protect yourselves because clearly these credit reporting agencies don't care!

People should not trust credit reports! The whole system is a greedy scam!

They should be forced to provide email and not allowed to sign you up for recurring charges. If they can't give you another free credit report for the year, they should just give you a copy of the last one. I had to pay $15.95 for my report even as their site wouldn't give me the free one :-(.

Experian Sophisticated Fraud Program

I noticed a charge of 19.95 from "experian *cr [protected] ca" this week. I googled it to see what the heck it was and saw that MANY MANY people are having the same fraud issues. I did not authorize this at all. I decided to look closer at my statement and sure enough this company has been charging me going back six months. To the tune of 120.00+. The craziest part is three months ago I had my card replaced. And it still happened. The fraud department of my bank said these scammers go directly to MasterCard to get updated/replacement card numbers. WHAT? So getting a new card didn't work to block them. They had to go in and notify MasterCard directly--to not release any new info to merchants. I had to also have my card replace a third time. These people are dedicated to their fraud. Im going all the way with this. 120.00 over six months may not seem like a lot to some but I am not rich. I only have a little bit of money and would like to keep it or at least...you know...decide where and how I spend it!

Three unauthorized monthly charges of $19.95 starting December 21st. This is around when I checked my credit report. Called Experian and gave them my card number. They found my account and said it was opened by "Dodi C". They canceled the account and said they would refund the charges. Also discovered $5 monthly charges from SafetyWeb starting around same time.

Experian Experian refuses to delete invalid debt

I disputed the inaccurate information from my credit report several times, and the accounts came back verified and it belong to me. I complied with Experian request to provide relevant information to support my claim. I send the information I received from the creditor to Experian by email and in person. The letter from the creditor indicated that the debt is invalid and it has been canceled. Despite of my insistence Experian failed to delete the error from my credit report. "Experian just so cruel and so heartless to unfortunate consumers."

Round Point Mortgage Servicing is not the legal owner of the Deed of Trust nor the Promissory Note and neither is Queens Park Oval Assets, according to the ruling of the 269th Judicial District Court of the State of Texas. I have a final judgment that vested title in the property to me, Jody Turner and Robert Ledoux. We are the true owners of the property, free and clear of any mortgage. Final Judgment was recorded on April 20, 2014. Trial number [protected], 269th Judicial District, Harris County, Texas. Filed Novermber 1, 2013.
In that judgment, the defendants are: Marquis Money, Jeremy Radack, Queens Park Oval Assets Trust. Roundpoint and Flagstar are merely mentioned as Mortgage Servicers and never had the Deed of Trust nor the Promissory Note. Therefore, they could not initiate any foreclosure proceedings nor carry through on any action in foreclosure according to the laws of Texas. All were served with a Temporary Restraining Order and Injunction.
As Marquis Money no longer exists as a business or supposed mortgage banker in the State of Texas, Harris County, there is a black hole in the process. Therefore, we sought an injunction and declaratory judgment on the Deed of Trust and Promissory Note that secures the debt in the State of Texas. The hidden transfers have further cased this hole to expand and a clear title is quite difficult to obtain.
IN Carpenter v. Longan 16 Wall. 271, 83 U.S. 271, 274, 21 L.Ed. 313 (1872), the U.S. Supreme Court stated
The note and mortgage are inseparable; the former as essential, the latter as an incident. An assignment of the note carries the mortgage with it, while assignment of the latter alone is a nullity.
Experian keeps reporting this invalid mortgage as in foreclosure, even though I have addressed this for over two years with this company. Now, there is a fraud alert on my credit report that I did not request. This is not a CRA, it is a Credit Marketing company that intentionally keeps the scores low to raise the interest rates and forceful predatory lending.

I spent 3 years .[age 55 & 60]..often working 8 hrs/day trying to fix our credit reports...The details of CRA reporting and their tricks has been defined by history, the courts, & by tens of thousands of people's experiences...BUT...THEY DON'T CARE! I even had a judge rule that my husband had NOTHING to do with a "judgment" but TU kept reporting.. the women at the courthouse were EXASPERATED!...probably 6 times it was removed and put back on. Our main bank got so angry at TU for sending the same paperwork to their bank (every time you send in info on an issue...TU will shoot out another set of paperwork to the creditor...NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO. The last time they sent it to our bank, the bank president told us "you'll be sorry" -------and ONE day after all our accounts were reporting correctly------TWENTY SIX (YES 26!) POSITIVE accts were deleted by the bank! (the bank NEVER REPORTED one acct as paid and dropped scored 75 points!...FINALLY it dropped off) ...but the more I disputed the more positive accts would disappear. Transunion has a MAJOR, HUGE data base right in their offices but they are called the "kings of redundancy" because they will keep sending the same paperwork over and over and over again...just trying to wear people down. My mid name is "persistence" but that does not serve you at all with this bunch! Experian started putting my calls on a loop thru caller ID so I could NEVER get a live person. All of the reps who take the complaints by phone have thick foreign accents so you feel your communicating is being lost...it is! Those that repair the reports off of these calls have to finish hundreds in a single day! Out the window with any care for "correctness"...forget that! There is soooooo much to know in their tricky reporting and the different data that is most important to each bureau...one is the "date closed", one is "paid date", etc. IT'S MORE COMPLICATED THAN YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE! ONE TIME I GOT AN AMERICAN REP FROM EXPERIAN that spoke to me for probably 8 minutes & she told me more than tens x tens of others did combined. My last fax to TU was 40+pages long! NEVER A SINGLE RESPONSE! The only way to fight these powerful evildoers...is in the courts. I contacted the #1 credit atty in Chicago...sent probably 15 lbs of paperwork to him...and I don't think he ever even looked at it! See anything complicated takes too much time and they can make faster money! I got a call back from another atty's office thinking I had a car accident & wanted to go after the auto maker...when I told 'em "CRA reporting" he hung up and said another dept would call...NOT EVER! I do know a woman in Orlando was awarded $10 million...bec TU had intertwined her identity with that of a drug lord's for 10 years! I even contacted that atty out in OR & he said he didn't have the time! There's no winning...the longer you try...the more they'll destroy your report. I bought every credit reporting product out there not knowing they were all worthless...ONLY your exact reports from FICA will do you any good. 1 Report did give me IN ORDER which different accts were negatively effecting our scores...that was the page that EDUCATED ME ABOUT WHAT WAS REALLY GOING ON. CAPITAL ONE reports, on purpose, all info so that it will have maximum negative effect! ...and now they are taking over, it seems, countless card cos. & they are becoming are becoming Capital One too! I bought TU's TrueCredit product & I thought it was reporting in "real time" & they told me no differently!...anyway...I thought $12k accts from '70 showing balances when there were none...so, I made a horrible mistake disputing them when our scores would NEVER CHANGE on TrueCREDIT...EVER... Scores dropped 20 pts that day! .& we had 2 mtgs reporting at $176, 00 instead of one AND showing a balance. When I disputed they deleted the incorrect one...I told them...then they deleted the OTHER...now both GONE and no one knows how to report again! STORY AFTER STORY AFTER STORY LIKE THAT! Random old JCP acct disappeared...OLD phone Acct disappeared! Etc x 100! enough to make one CRAZYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
