I purchased a 18in grill on 06/07/19. The grill was defective and missing some parts. I went into the store on 06/10/19 to return and the employee named sharice was there when I purchased the grills. I am very upset I had 30.00. Cash a phone and a record from 1972. Still in the plastic. I would demand that I am compensated for my loss. At least the money and the phone. My # is [protected] my name is Joshua. I have a recorded phone call of the employee admitting that the bag was in the store office. It now is gone. To all you managers at a Family Dollar I have a question for you is it proper for a store manager at Family Dollar to fill out all your employment forms without you being present or knowing they're filling them out ? and is it proper for them to ask you a picture for a picture of your Social Security card to their personal cell phone? is it proper to have an employee do the training almost two weeks after hire and not want to pay them to do the computer training you expect them to go in on their day off and just do it spend an hour or two hours whatever it takes to do the whole computer training process when you first supposed to be getting a job? I also would like to know if employees are able to work at a store and then have their paperwork done a couple of days later? I would like to also know how many of you managers walk around your stores in socks putting away stock?

hi yes i was at your store in Hammond Indiana this morning the address is 147 sibley st the store was a mess they had junk every where all the shelf's were unorganized they were pile of boxes in front of the toilet paper section there were u boats in certain isles and u couldn't walk through just a big mess that does not look good for business i will hire some better people to run that store so u can have better control and make the store look neater

I walked into the new family dollar in derby ct. And I over heard the assistant manager and cashier talking about me saying she has alot of balls coming In here after she was fired. First off I was let go because I it was a temporary job and I am free to shop at any store I want to. I shouldn't be treated this way as a customer. I visited the Family Dollar store on Ralph David Abernathy in Atlanta on 6/1/2019 between the time of 8:45pm and 9:00pm. The first thing is there were people right in front of the door with things they were trying to sell me before I could even go inside. Someone selling cakes and pies out fo their car trunk. Also someone else selling music cd's and dvd movies. Once I was inside Im looking for a shopping cart and there was only one. Some guy who was there doing some cleaning had just got that cart andwas putting his cleaning supplies in it so I asked him if I could use the cart and he told me he needed it so he could clean up and I said to him I am a customer and I need the cart to shop and he says yeah but I have to clean up and I state again I am a customer. Reluctantly he game me the cart. As I am shopping a female employee comes from the back and ask the cashier for a cart and she says we only have 2 and as Im shopping Im leaning on the cart and the female employee say "oh I see one but she is leaning on it" and I say to her I am leaning on because Im using it. As Im shopping there are 2 to 3 carts around the store filled with merchandise. This was a very aweful place to visit form the very beginning that I got out of my car. The staff was rude and they were allowing customers to be approached by people outside of the store. There was a lot of activity outside the front door that would make someone feel unsafe. I feel I picked the wrong Family Dollar that night. I shop at this chain on a regular basis and have never had to do a complaint but this store needs some attention from someone upwards of store management.

I go to the Family Dollar store at 2410 Hickman road, Des Moines, Iowa 50310. I shop there for the convenience and low prices. The past several times that I have shopped there have been very discerning. The appearance of the store has been in disarray with unpacked boxes throughout the store with bare shelves. There has no carts available for use and when I have asked for one I was told maybe I could find one outside or there isn't one of the 3 they have free for use. I am disabled and this is a huge problem for me to where I have to shop elsewhere. The appearance of some employees is unprofessional and lacking in customer service skills. An example is when I bought a gallon of milk, was refused a bag and told by the associate that I didn't need one and they were short on bags. Lastly, some of the items are advertised one price and ring up a different price. When asked why I was charged a different price I was told that they are working on getting the correct price on the shelf.

The manager Melody is in something, she's rude n the customer service she provided is nothing. This Dollar Store is I close proximity to Kroger's And Other Shops, for OlderPatrons as well. I visited your store at 200 n.w 2nd Avenue on 5-25-2019 at 18:21:35 I purchased a couple of items there and when I walked out of the store I opened up the candy and noticed that it had white speckles on tge candy and it was melted, so I walked back into the store to tell the young lady that the candy was no good so she replied to me that it is melted. So I went and found another employee and I showed it to her and she said it was spoiled so I asked to speak to the manager. Lord and behold the young lady who I was speaking to first is the manager. So she took the candy back to the manager and then she gave me my money back, but during this time I asked the manager to let me see the candy at first she gave it to me then while I was taking out my phone to take a picture she threw it in the garbage that's when words foul language was use on both of our behalf the manager name is Dessi I couldn't believe that is how your management is. That's a shame I stay right around the corner from the store. I come in there all the time never had a problem before with the older manager that works there. This girl must be new and need training in management. I really hope that you view tge camera. Thank you

My local family dollar located at 5622 treaschwig dr spring, to 77373 locked their doors before closing. At 9:15 i arrived and doors were locked i begin pulling the door and calling the store to see business hours and as i stood outside he let a customer out and shut the door. Very poor customer service i shop here a great amount and i am not very happy. It's my go to store or was.

I always have a problem with Jennifer at the West Blvd/Remount Rd location. I'm not the only one. She make up her on rules for the store. I've noticed that her mom comes in on a regular drunk talking very loud. That's not acceptable for me. Trash is always out side the store from garbage can over running. I've been over here on Fordham for 49 years and I feel like that store could do so much better with the right people managing it. Jennifer will stand beside the cashier and watch her laughing and talking with customers when the line has more then 10 waiting to check out. It's ridiculous. Please be more weary of who's in charge of your store. She will sit and argue with me about priced items as people walk out with merchandise not paying. It's so unprofessional. Please have better employees running your store. Jennifer will sit in the corner at the computer sucking her thumb with a line of 10 or more people. Please! Please! Please! Do something about this. I wouldn't dare recommend this store to anyone. I don't know if it's their shorted pay our what. But it's too much going on at that location with Jennifer. Thank you and please let me see a change soon as possible.

The partners there just seem to be throwing their trash straight out the door and on to the ground. It looks disgusting. You can see it from the road. We have a business near, and we wouldn't want the poor shape of that store to affect us. If the outside looks that bad, I can only image what the inside looks like in the back. The manager shouldn't let it get this bad.
