Since I have tried several times to talk to your Legal Department with no response back to Settle on a amount! If your Legal Department will not talk to me I will file the Complaint with ADA so the ADA can bring it before the Department of Justice. Since the cashier told me I could no longer bring my Service Dog into the store and the Legal Department does refuse to talk to me or does talk to me over this ADA Violation so we can agree on a cash Settlement about this Complaint or I will have to file a ADA Complaint which will be brought before the DOJ as it will be stamped Negations Failed. If your Legal Department wishes to call me and see if we can settle on a amount after all the cashier broke the Law. You can't Blame the cashier since the new Manager told her this "No Dogs are allowed in the store". My dog is a Service Dog with a Vest which says SERVICE DOG - ACCESS REQUIRED! So if your wish to Fire someone, Fire the Manager for the Manager Broke Federal Laws not the cashier! I am sending a copy of this to the ADA to prove that I did try to Settle with Family Dollar so the Department of Justice can say Negations have failed! Keep putting this off and I will also file a ADA Complaint on how your store is a mess which will cost you $1, 000.00 a day until you clean up the store. Please get back to me ASAP!
Please don't blame the Cashier since the New Manager told her "No dogs in the store"! I have a Service Dog with a Vest that states SERVICE DOG - ACCESS REQUIRED! My Service Dog gives me commands so NOT just the Service Dog was trained, but so was I to understand each command! My Service Dog is by my side 24/7 in my Electric Wheel Chair or just at home in bed!
You can reach me at [protected] if you call this number please leave a message or try [protected]. Either way I will call you back.
Thank you,
John Giera

That is simply terrible Family Dollar Store refused your Service Dog to accompany you into the store. Good luck with your law suit.
Sounds like a Money Hungry Rant. You don't give a darn about the store breaking ADA rules and laws, if you did, your biggest concern wouldn't be money. Not too long ago I slipped and broke my leg at a Hannaford Bros Supermarket. Trust me, I could use the money, but my primary concern was them re-vamping their rules and reinforcing their policies when it comes to spills and cleaning the floor. Unlike you, I actually understand that people make mistakes, or misunderstand. You don't need thousands if not millions of dollars for a littel incident that didn't harm you in any other way.
You need to have all the paper work in hand and in tow just not the vest...You have to have the papers that prove the dog is a service dog as well as the vest.
You live off law suits, don't you? This should be listed as the most frivolous complaint received. What a slap in the face to the truly disabled. Stop clogging up the system, Mr. John Giera. You seem to have a wallet disability. What's with the bad writing skills anyway?
did you ever hear back from the legal dept.?...I too have a legal service dog and also was told my a new cashier that my dog could not come back and was only allowed with me if I was legally blind, ...I responded that I was not blind but I do have a disability and she is protected under federal disabilities act...she insisted that I needed to be blind to have her back into the store...I left after my purchase without a problem but I do think she is wrong on the law...I just wont shop there anymore, no big deal however, I would like to see their policy about this and cannot find anything about this...can you possibly enlighten me ?
