It saddens me to have been paying a monthly premium for a cellphone i handed in for repairs in December 2019, to date I'm being told my device will be replaced but till today i do not have a phone m. Today I'm being told my phone will be replaced with an iPhone 7 which is less than what I'm insured for. I have been going back and forth calling finrite sometimes I'm hung up on. Every time I ask to speak to a team leader I'm being told stories, it is the 7th month that I'm without a cellphone. Please attend to my case I'm frustrated with your service.

I have submitted my claim forms three weeks ago to finrite and last week I had to phone in myself to find out when will I receive a response about my claim and was told my case number was outstanding which I provided for them the twice I was told that I will receive a sms or email for my access fee and uptill today I have received nothing... For four years I was a loyal customer paying my insurance every month and skipping one payment, is this the service I'm getting in the end. Is this the putret service a lot of customers is talking about concerning your company... When will I get my response please I need today please cause every day I've been trying to phone in and only here music and my airtime is running out... I don't have a lot of money spend on airtime just to phone and get no answer. Noone is picking up with both numbers they are providing, what is happening to this company..

I am saddened by the level of disrespect I have received . It sadness me even more when the workers hang up on me everytime I try to make a follow up.
I was asked to take an iPhone 7 which I was using an iPhone 7plus all along. I rejected the offer because that's lesser than the one I was using. I pay for my insurance every month and I paid for my excess fee after I lost my headset but it's been months now and I haven't gotten any feedback from finrite. This is heartbreaking.

I was informed that my phone can not be repaired and it will be replaced once I have paid the access of R1200 on the 12 June 2020 and on the 19th I followed up with them and was told they need 5-7working days for delivery and I will receive the phone by Tuesday, since they have not called me to tell me the phone is unavailable.
On yesterday on Thursday I called them again I was now told they are awaiting approval from some department which was never discussed with me before.
I requested to speak to the Manager in my frustarations howebver I was told she handles walk in clients in this Covid Era and they can not give me her number only her email which she never responded to. I was told she will call me back before close of business which still did not happen.
I am fed up with Telkom and Finrite as now I am in limbo whilst paying for insurance and a contract for a phone I do not have and no one is willing to help me.
The managers behaviuor/processes is appauling to say the least.

I have my small company Business account in Telkom services 5 - five contracts running the last 5 years in Telkom with. Always I took out insurance and I thought it would be good to have insurance at the same place as my 3 contract phones insured devices (R844, 24) Pmp. But I don't know which company Telkom deals with (Always I thought Telkom Insurance company).
I lost my one of the contract phone, immediately blocked the cell. I swiped my number then Telkom advised me to claim my device they gave me my so called Finrite insurance customer care number so I called Finrite then they wanted all the documents, and went to the police station for Affidavits etc… I have submitted all documents to mail.

I made my first claim in Finrite South Africa March 22nd for a lost mobile phone. I received on the SMS Finrite administrators a message to send me the message pay access amount I have paid R2000. Then I didn't get the call from them.
Then I call in day in and out to Finrite and Telkom. I always get the same response as to that they will get back to me till date.(06/06/2020) almost 3 months i have attached invoices also
I've gone to multiple Telkom branches but I still haven't been assisted accordingly.
Every month I pay Telkom whatever they invoice me in february also . There is no skip, no laps in my account till date.
Suddenly someone from Finrite /Telkom April 26th my all my Mobile devices insurance are cancelled without my approval.
This is very much unfair because I have never missed not even a single payment but the service I am receiving rather than not receiving from Finrite /Telkom is one that is very unethical in South Africa and makes me want to move my cell phone insurance elsewhere.
I don't have any more time! I'm literally fed up, you guys.
I'm highly disappointed. Guys please stop this fraud services dont use it don't get in trouble .

Please advice what must I do to get my phone from you guys? Why is finrite so incompetent and inconsiderate of their customers? I made a claim on january and we are now approaching june. I call in day in and out I always get the same response as to that they will get back to me till date. Ive paid my access, i'm still paying for the damn insurance monthly for something I don't have anymore! Im literally fed up, you guys are delaying my process. Just do what you have to do and send me whatever phone cause I won't get my iphone 7 plus and getting a smaller phone which is an iphone 8 of which I was told it's out of stock so the supplier needs to come back to see what phone will I get which is obviously going to be a lower value than what i've been paying for. I claimed for a stolen phone in 2020/02/03. Provided all the necessary documentation to finrite Telkom insurance. For a month got no feedback from them and I tried to contact them but instead after telling them my issue and giving them my ID number they would drop my calls or tell me to hold till the call drops itself. On 2020/03/12 they sent me an sms with account details to send the access fee of R849 Ref: TCO30613. Till today I have not recieved the device and the keep on telling me they do not have it in stock. It has been over 5 weeks that I have been waiting for mere feedback or delivery of device.
I am very disappointed and quiet disgusted with the level of service that I have been receiving.
I have been very patient and understanding due to the lockdown but the fact that you are very quick to debit your payment but provide me no service is appalling,
I have been calling your centre and been advised that I would be contacted but it never happens without me having to follow up and wait again.
I am tired of the empty promises.
The least you could be doing is communicate but you have failed to do so yet you redirect us to the mail service which no one bothers to even respond on.
I want to be contacted urgently with accurate feedback and commitment.

I am very appalled by your customer service/claims calls centre. I logged a claim in January and have yet to still receive any communication. I have tried calling on multiple occasions and no one ever picks up the line, no one even bothers to respond to the many follow-up emails that I have sent over the last months. I really think the service is a total disgrace considering that I have been paying for this insurance.
I would really love to put this matter behind me, can someone please contact me to help resolve this because I feel that I shouldn't been taken advantage of like this and would also like to be compensated as I have lost over R200 trying to get a hold of your call centre.

I am very disgusted and annoyed to say the least from the service finrite is rendering to their clients. Firstly I do not understand what joke of a call center this company is running, that is never available, you are kept on hold for hours on end before you get a non bothered agent to assist. I mean zero telephone etiquette whatsoever. I cannot be trying to get my phone for over a month now. this process has been very stressful. On top of the frustration that comes with losing a phone and being unreachable especially with the pandemic we are facing right now.
I submitted my documents on the 17/03/2020. Waited for feedback on my claim for over a week. I finally get feedback that my claim has been approved. Then finrite goes and charges me a ridiculous amount of an excess fee that is not the same as the one in my contract. The one in my contract is R750 for first claim for cellphone cover amount of R15000. They requested me to pay an excess amount of 1459.90 which is almost double what i was quoted in my contract. Mind you this is my first claim since I had the insurance for 18 months now. I understand finrite reserves the right to change the excess amounts at anytime however before doing so I need to be sent the new excess amounts 30 days prior, which never happened.
When I received the excess amount I need to pay I immediately tried calling finrite, this was before the lockdown, I still could not get ahold of them as always. I called, and called and called, on different days, I was on hold for long till I decided to disconnect. Only after 5 days of trying to call finrite and not getting through, its was now lockdown, they finally decided to record a voice prompt stating they are not available over the phone during the lockdown and that they can be contacted by email. I sent an email on the 31/03/2020 disputing the excess fee, that I need clarity and I need a manager to call me back regarding this. Till today I have not received feedback on my email and no manager has called me back.
I decided to pay the excess fee anyway because they were gonna decline my claim because of the 30 days period that I need to finalize my claim which was on the 08/04/2020. I am however still gonna dispute it.
Yesterday (09/04/2020) they called my mom, because I listed her number as a secondary number, they stated I need to forward them my residential address so they can send my phone. What phone are they sending? I have not chosen the phone I want. They have not responded to my email, the nerve.
I am tired of dealing with finrite. I need to get this sorted. I was a refund of the excess amount I was charged and I want my phone I mean its been over a month already. This is unacceptable.

I have logged a claim with Finrite in the first week of January 2020. I was give an access fee amount of R550.00, to which I paid and was told later I need to pay another R1000.00. I advised I will not be paying the extra amount and would like my R550.00 refunded instead. Its been months and I have not heard anything from Finrite. You ignore my emails and drop the phone in my face when I ask for my refund. You claim you have never received my email asking for a redund eventhough ive sent it to all your emails listed online.
This is daylight robbery and I would just like my money back please. Call me asap and scrap the existing claim. Were going in for 4 months with no resolution here. What a shame.

As a client who has been paying you guys so well over the the past 2 years+, I can't stress enough how disappointed I am with your service! However going through finrite reviews, it's safe to say you're hopeless! I lost my phone on the 26th and I had my claim submitted on the 27th of february, to my surprise I didn't receive any acknowledgement, no correspondence, nothing whatsoever. I called the next morning to confirm if you have received my email however I was advised that it will take 48 to 72 hours to be attended, which I understood. 72, actually 96 hours to be exact passed and still I hadn't receive any response, I called again and I was advised that my claim wasn't attached or processed I had to wait for another 72 hours! The phone in question was already paid up for however I continued paying for insurance because I wasn't ready for an upgrade just yet but due to the lousy service i've been receiving, a week later, I was forced to apply for another contract [something I had no intention on doing just yet] and I used the very same cellphone number that was suspended on the old phone, meaning I did a swim swap and stupid me I took the very same insurance on the new phone which is a decision I regret taking now, due to this 2cent service am getting, I even asked the telkom consultant if this new application wasn't going to affect my existing claim in anyway, the answer was "no and it shouldn't"! Fast forward 72 hours came again and passed, still no news, no update nothing! I had to call again to find out what's really happening, this time around I was advised that, "there's no data on the stolen phone in question! And the matter is being taken up" whatever that means, I have to wait for another 72 hours?!?!?!?, how ridiculous is that? I asked if I could speak with any superior person but I couldn't, all I could get from your consultant was her apologies, I then asked if they could treat this as a matter of urgency but still I haven't received any feedback. I don't know what circus you're running, however this isn't fun at all, I don't understand why I need to chase you to receive any feedback whereas you don't need a constant reminder to debit my account on monthly basis, you should stop acting like you doing your clients any favors, your services are paid for! The least you could do is keep us posted peacesake and put our my minds at ease. Am not holding my breath that I will receive a prompt feedback but my details are as follows :

So i cancelled the device insurance in January, i was told that the insurance is cancelled. however the amount is still being debited from my account. i have been calling and calling the call center numerous times a day with no luck for over a month now. i refuse to believe that the call volume is that high that a phone call cant being picked up. its disappointing really. i would like an amended billing statement.

I am getting no joy in the service I am getting from you, I call and call to get the same response that my query has been escalated, or what I get is that when I speak to some they drop my call or put me on hold for no reason or explanation and yet before I can speak to someone I am waiting for long to get to speak to some and using my own airtime, I am not sure what is so hard to understand that the phone I was using uses TWO sim cards in it and has two imei and have blacklisted it and gave you two ITC reference numbers
The phone has a capability to have TWO sim cards at the same time, one of those is my contract sim and the other is my prepaid sim, my contract data gets loaded on the 1st of every month from Telkom mobile of which then I use the contract one then, when my data finishes on the contract one I then switch sim cards to use my prepaid one and NO sim card is taken out of the handset at any time,
I keep getting told by your agents that I lost my phone on the 17/02/2020, but I clearly stated on the affidavit that my phone was stolen on the 26/02/2020, it should not take a whole week to get the usage of both sim cards on the dates indicated and this process is delaying for me to get my handset and the details as to how much and where to pay the access, and when I do have those details, it's going to take a much longer period for me to get my new device,
Please can someone respond as I am not getting any joy out of anyone I speak to or try to get a resolution about this issue

My phone broke and I took it to Telkom where I bought it and they took to the insurance company (Finrite) and a day after that Finrite sent me an SMS requesting that I email the proof of purchase to TelkomInsurance@finrite.co.za which I did and since then they have not gotten back to me to inform me whats next step or when I should expect my phone back. I have been sending them emails but no response and I tried to call them several times but the phone just takes me to an automated voice and I spent 30 minutes waiting on the line hoping that someone will eventually take my call but no luck.

hi.im very dissapointed with finrite right now their communication is very poor and yesterday i spoke to consultant who was very rude and even dropped a phone on my ears.
i lost my phone since the sim was in the phone ,i requested for any correspondence should be done through email.
to my surprise up until today i never got any reply email from the .yesterday i called the promised that is through authorization dept. and got my ref on SMS.
my question was what if id never done sim swap that all could have been in vain. I slept on a desktop hopping they revert ..dololo.
finrite is trouble they need to do something about their poor service. Now I'm intending to buy another phone and they'll refund hence they fail to process in time nor communicate.
hope by now all companies they have auto reply on their mailbox..im very disappointed and embarrassed.
i insured this phone cause their ambassador sold this product to me otherwise i wouldn't have the crises i have now.
