Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Service Experience
Dear Firestone Management,
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the service I received at your location on August 24, 2024, concerning the installation of an air compressor in my vehicle.
On August 17, 2024, I received a call from a sales associate named Danjer Garcia informing me that my air compressor had arrived. However, I had to wait a week for these Air compressors. I had to suffer a week with no air again without air conditioning in my vehicle. When I arrived at your location to discuss the installation process, I was met with rudeness and aggression from Mr. Garcia. When I expressed my intention to file a complaint, Mr. Garcia dismissed my concerns with an attitude, saying that if I wished to file a complaint, I would "lose."
I simply wanted my vehicle repaired, but Mr. Garcia insisted that additional work was required for the air compressor installation. His aggressive demeanor and ultimatum of "take it or leave it" left me feeling distressed. During this interaction, another sales associate involved in the conversation was also rude, leading to a situation where the associate manager had to intervene to prevent any further escalation.
Mr. Garcia initially quoted me $759.00 for the additional work. After negotiation, he reduced the final price to $625.00, which I reluctantly agreed to, as I had no alternative. Five hours later, I was informed that my truck was ready for pickup. Although Mr. Garcia assured me that everything was functioning properly, the very next day, my truck began running hot, and the dashboard indicated low oil pressure.
When I called Firestone for clarification, Mr. Garcia was again rude and unhelpful. He failed to provide a satisfactory explanation for the lack of oil in my truck, despite my truck having adequate oil before the service. Mr. Garcia hung up on me, leaving me with no choice but to visit AutoZone to refill my oil tank to prevent further damage.
To rectify the situation, I had to get a full oil change at another Firestone location. This experience has been both frustrating and concerning, given the lack of professionalism and the resulting damage to my vehicle.
I request that you address this matter promptly and provide a resolution to the issues I have experienced. I would appreciate a response outlining the steps you will take to rectify this situation and ensure it does not happen to other customers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
[Clifford Sebastian]

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service I received at your Firestone Complete Auto Care location. My experience has been both frustrating and disappointing, and I hope this letter will help bring some attention to the issues I have encountered.
On my first visit to your location, I came in to have my air compressor fixed. I explained the issue to a salesman, and he informed me that a new air compressor would need to be ordered. A few days later, I was contacted and told that the part had arrived, and I could bring my vehicle in for the installation.
I scheduled the installation for a Friday, but unfortunately, the salesman I interacted with was very rude. Even worse, the air compressor that was installed failed just two days later. When I returned to address the issue, the salesman again displayed a rude demeanor and blamed me for the failure, stating that they could not find another air compressor to replace the faulty one.
Despite having paid $950, I left the location without a working air compressor, which is particularly concerning as I live in Florida, where temperatures can quickly reach 100 degrees daily. After a week of not hearing back, I filed a complaint. Ten days later, I was informed that a new air compressor had been found, but I would have to wait another week for it to arrive.
During this waiting period, I suffered from heat stress as I had to drive to and from work every day without air conditioning. I called on a Thursday to check on the status of the part, and was told that it hadn't arrived yet. The next day, I was informed that the part would be available on Friday. I took the day off work, confirmed the appointment, and dropped off my truck.
After approximately four hours, I was called to pick up my vehicle, with the salesman informing me that the air compressor had been installed. However, when I asked to confirm that it was functioning correctly, the salesman revealed that the wrong part had been ordered, and the original faulty air compressor was still in my truck. I was shocked and disappointed by this oversight. The salesman suggested I "keep my fingers crossed" that the old compressor would work.
On Saturday, the air compressor failed again, and I noticed green oil underneath my truck. I immediately called Firestone and was instructed to bring the vehicle back in. Upon arrival, the salesman admitted that the compressor hadn't worked and that nothing could be done until a new part arrived, which would take another week.
At this point, I am utterly dissatisfied with the service I have received. The delays, mistakes, and lack of professionalism have caused me significant inconvenience and stress. I simply want my truck to be fixed properly.
Please address this situation as soon as possible. I expect to be contacted promptly when the new part arrives and for my truck to be repaired correctly without any further issues.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Sincerely,
Clifford Sebastian
