Many thanks to the loan officer, Mr
Many thanks to the loan officer, Mr. John Smith, and his team at First National Bank of America (FNBA) who all worked together to make this mortgage happen. Took a bit longer than expected and had its fair share of twists and turns but in the end was successfully closed. Thanks to all for always being available to help, answer questions, and provide support. It was very much appreciated.
Huge thank you to the FNBA loan officer that helped with my loan
Huge thank you to the FNBA loan officer that helped with my loan. He went above and beyond to help me get a mortgage loan even being self-employed. He was very professional and personable and went above and beyond to calm my "first time home buyer" jitters. I couldn't have asked for a better loan officer to help me through this process. Thank you so much!
Recently close my transaction with First National Bank Of America, My loan *** was really helpful 100% and my transaction was really smooth
Closed on 12/30 as scheduled. Excellent bank on all fronts. Final costs were below estimates as expected. FNBA agent was nice and accommodating even on the weekends. FNBA met all of my expectations.

A great company to work with
A great company to work with.I would highly recommend for any self employed or entrepreneurs seeking a "common sense" solution for their mortgage needs. The whole team rocks from the loan officer to the processor to the closing. Stephanie Brown is a Rockstar loan officer. Kept things moving along even with the inherent challenges in closing a loan. Can't say enough good things!
was very attentive and kept us informed about the steps that were being taken. FNBA was invaluable to us getting the equity we needed out of our home - we shopped around and only FNBA was willing to work with us. We were people to them - not a credit report.
The person that helped me must have nerves of steel. I am new to the 21st century computer world and she was very patient and took a lot of time to get me through my application process
I appreciate the knowledge and clarity that was displayed by ***, my loan officer, the attention to details and timely responses by his team at First National Bank of America. They were patient and supportive at all times of the process. Thank you!
Great bank to work with *** made the process very simple he help with everything and explained everything he was always there if I had any questions Thanks for everything *** and ***!
FNBA is absolutely the truth when it comes to what they share the process is
FNBA is absolutely the truth when it comes to what they share the process is. The entire team was amazing and very helpful towards my husband and I purchasing our first home we built. Our loan officer was exceptional, who was so patient and experienced with knowing exactly what it takes to getting us to the closing table. We will continue to refer FNBA! Thank You. From the Enamuna family.
My experience as a real estate agent has been terrible with this bank. 2 months ago a client a mine applied for an ITIN loan and all was well until she went under contract. My client's closing date has been delay for 3 weeks already, I had to amend our closing date 2 times, and already going on our third one. The lack of communication is terrible, if it wasn't because I ask about where my client's loan is in the process then we would never hear from them, I literally hear from them the day before we are supposed to closed and that's because I reach out to them. My client has been staying at a hotel for a week already, going on her second week, and it's having to pay for a storage. It has been 2 weeks since she got the preliminary closing disclosure and yet, they are still saying they are running behind and every closing date I get from them needs to be amended because they just can't keep their word. To make things worst my client needed her credit to go up by one point in order to just give 15% down payment and even though her credit increased, for 2 weeks they have refused to check her credit again and bring down the down payment to 15% ,which will save my client $15k. I feel the least they could do is check her credit again and bring down her down payment after all the hassle they have made her go through. Overall, I do not recommend this bank for anyone trying to get a home loan.
Thank you so much *** and *** for helping get a loan. This two ladies are both very professional. The process was a little long but they made it happen. Thank you so much much *** and *** you make a good team.
When we decide to buy a house in the country. We look for the best options in banks with experience. We don't just find a bank with experience. We found the best loan advisor ***. He helped us from beginning to end with an incredible answer to all our questions. We couldn't find a better team. Today we are enjoying our house thanks to all the team that gave us their help and support. Thank you

We are very pleased with First National Bank of America
We are very pleased with First National Bank of America. From the very beginning to the end the process went smoothly and quickly. Our loan officer, Stephanie Smith, was excellent and responded to everything promptly and efficiently. She was a blessing to us and a great asset to your company. Other companies wouldn't take the time to try to help us. When any issue occurred, First National Bank of America employees immediately were working on the solution. Thank you so much for making our lives happier.
FNBA's staff are by far the most professional and friendly loan officers we've worked with
FNBA's staff are by far the most professional and friendly loan officers we've worked with. Stephanie was the MOST helpful through the long process of buying our second home. If not for Stephanie, Maria and FNBA, I really don't know if we would have gotten though this process as smoothly... Being self employed and owning a business, sometimes makes it a bit of a hassle getting a loan.. Stephanie was amazing, and so accommodating. we 1000% recommend FNBA and especially Stephanie Brown for all your Loan needs..
We were working with Matt Toy to try and refinance
We were working with Matt Toy to try and refinance. We were unable to secure the loan through FNBA, but that has 0 impact of our opinion of Matt. Every time we reached out to him he has been friendly, efficient and accommodating through every step. Always responded quick to emails and phone calls! In my opinion Matt should be considered a valued employee for how great he helped navigate us through a new experience we were unsure of. As stated, we were unable to get things to happen the way we had hoped but Matt need recognized for his great work and personality, he was very easy to work with.

Very quick process, went smoothly
Very quick process, went smoothly. Once the file was handed over from the Loan Officer to the Processor David Stattelman, communication was excellent, he was easily available, and when not he saw my call and emailed me that he was on a conference call. (the Loan Officer, understandably removed from operations, did make a false statement that an incorrect answer by me on my initial application would never be reviewed by anyone down the line, but the underwriter did see it, and I had to scramble near the end of the loan to find old documentation that satisfied the issue. In the loan officer's defense, he did take my concern to his management, but came back with the incorrect answer on this issue). The Loan Officer was slow to respond quite often, but when Mr. Stattelman took over the file, everything went smoothly, underwriting was great, and we had clear to close in about 3 weeks, ahead of closing date by a week! Great job!

STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!
STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS! This bank will cause you to lose sleep at night. I could write a book on how bad these people are but i will be as brief as possible .I financed 100000 dollars with a 1541 payment for 3 years .The balanced owed after the 3 years with zero missed payments was 101500.This is not ok for anyone! I had a 850 score when I financed. They were supposed to be paying insurance and taxes with this being all in escrow. They did not pay my insurance or taxes except the first year .I payed my insurance monthly then they would dun me for taxes at tax due time of the year.I started just sending them 1260 because id be damned if i payed them insurance which they did not pay ,then try and get stupid and try to take my home cause it wasn,t insured! They would call saying my payments were not received 2 weeks after the payment cleared like clock work. They would also call 1 week before due date asking for payment like clockwork.I tried over 100 times with close to as many people on the phone and would always be told ",I understand your concern but im going to have to get a mgr to call you back"Guess what ?It was NEVER a mgr ,it was the call time for payment like clockwork again.BAD Bad people and Institution.I have refinanced and am a lot more happy now with another bank. I would not reccomend this bank to my Worst enemy. This is a MAJOR PREDATORY BANK!YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
I really don't know where to begin, but as I sit in my "New Home", I will say that without my FNBA Loan Officer Kassandra B, I wouldnt have made
I really don't know where to begin, but as I sit in my "New Home", I will say that without my FNBA Loan Officer Kassandra B, I wouldnt have made it thru this process. My situation was not only complicated, unique and needed to be done quickly, but full of barriers and walls with all other companies as they pretty much told me it was "Impossible" until next year, more tax returns and lengthier business history as I'm self employed for me to buy a new home. Kassandra took me on and assured me from day 1 that she would get me to the finish line and in about 6 weeks...SHE DID! Every problem that I was faced with, she dealt with! I needed to be able to successfully keep my in home business going literally until 2 days before moving, I have a family as well as health issues. I had ZERO TIME to deal with past creditors, multiple day phone calls, bad realtors and sellers etc...She handled most of what I couldn't, anything I didn't understand she explained, worked on my busy schedule with emails and calls and was ALWAYS available for me. But the biggest thing she did for me was treat me with dignity, respect and like the woman, mom and business woman I am. So, I'd say if you have any "Situations" you're faced with in getting your mortgage, you may want to try them first because I highly recommend the company itself and their choice of employees. I will also be going back to them in 2 years without a doubt. Kassandra is the best!
My experience with getting a home loan from FNBA would have been 5 stars if it weren't for one of the four or five people I had to deal with
My experience with getting a home loan from FNBA would have been 5 stars if it weren't for one of the four or five people I had to deal with. My loan officer, John Layman, was amazing from the get go. He explained my loan, the process and everything about it beautifully. He got me the absolute lowest interest rate they offer after telling me I could do so without putting a larger down payment down. Every time I talked to him was lovely .. he was not incredibly responsive over email, but once I finially got him on the phone - it was always great. ...and then my loan went to Emily Reed, the loan processor. At first, she was very responsive by email - but then, I don't know what happened. Her responses were not only vague and confusing, but at one time she flat out made it seem like she not only didn't give a rats patooey about my loan, but that she really couldn't care less about her job in general. She used the phrase "We have suspended this loan until we know we can move forward" - and didn't explain what that meant, didn't answer my calls, never replied to my frantic email about WHAT? WHY? WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? ... So I called John and he talked me down, apologized for Emily's crappy email, and explained that it really just meant it was on hold and everything was still good, not to worry about it. THEN finally when we were ready to close and the loan had to go into final review Emily was SO VAGUE about the process, and about the timeline and how it would work .. that it was legit the worst and most frustrating 5 days of the whole process. THEN underwriting approved everything, we set a close date, and my loan got passed on to the next person in line, Julie Carden, the Loan Closer. She was amazing! Incredibly responsive, lovely to email with, appreciated my jokes and totally understood all my questions and took the time to properly respond to each and every one of them! I had a few interactions with a couple other FBNA employees and they were all pleasant as well. It's just really unfortunate that my experience was seemless because of one person who EITHER is way overworked and can't handle the workload ... OR really just doesn't give a [censored] about her job or the people she is supposed to be helping.
