Dandridge TN the pharmacy is poorly ran they have so many people who just stand around and chat even the male pharmacist called it clucking when he was trying to speak they answer the phones and have no idea how to help with questions on medication really pharmacy techs would be great instead of cashiers who are rude and have no clue how things work I've been using the same pharmacy since it opened but I do believe after this month my family will be switching because that is the worst run pharmacy I've ever been to... And they put in a pickup window and didn't open it for over a month

I’ve been shopping at the Food city in Knoxville Tennessee well over 20 years. And that attended that works at one of the gas station is an older man. Very rude, and likes to go back and forth with the customer about their receipt. I will not shop at this store nor this location, due to the lack of respect for the customer. American people are tired of spending their hard earned money in these establishments and to be treated like xoxo! There for Im making it my duty to stop be one of their value customers. I’m moving on to shop at better stores with quality services 🤬
Brand turkey
I bought a food city brand turkey to cook on Christmas. After opening it I noticed that there was a rip/hole in the skin by one of the legs and a tad discolored. The skin was wrinkled through the rest of the turkey. While it was cooking I noticed a weird smell from the turkey once it was done cooking all the meat was fine in texture except the spot where it was discolored and ripped/ hole in the skin that spot was mush and spoiled about a 3 inch spot. It ruined the entire turkey and it could not be consumed. I spent $30 on this turkey for something to just have a spoiled spot. I'm unsure where you get turkeys from but seems like they are subject to abuse and bruised turning spots to spoil on it. This is unexpectable and a huge waste of money. People could have ended up sick.

Store manager
I went to the display case for fried chicken and there wasn't any. I spoke to the store manager who instantly became sarcastic and told me there were all kinds of fried chicken back there in a loud and condescending voice in front of other customers. I explained there wasn't any in the display case to which she said to ask at the deli. I explained last time I did that they told me I would have to wait until it was placed in the case or pay the deli price. She became even louder at which time I began to walk away. As I walked to the other end of the check out she was yelling at me as customers stared. As I was checking out I explained I was able to get the product but I didn't like being yelled at and would speak to her boss to which she rolled her eyes and started raising her voice again.
Desired outcome: Discipline her and train other managers.

I took a battery in with me and I was looking to see if they had it in the store which they didn’t so I proceeded to get my things check out when I was leaving the store she stop me which I didn’t have a problem with the problem I had was they way she addressed the situation she i embarrassed me in front of a lot customers and she was very rude

She was very rude and disrespectful the way she talk to my grandmother my grandma had tell her about 5 different times what kinda cigarette she wanted
She shouldn’t be a manger if she don’t know how to treat and talk to elderly people that foodcity will no longer get my services and I will make sure my family and friends go else we’re for the grocery’s and other things
wrongful termination
Recently an employee was wrongfully terminated at a location in East Tennessee. The employee was accused of a serious infraction; was showed inconclusive video and was not allowed to fully explain why the video did not show the full situation. This may have a serious negative impact for this former employee in applying for other positions.
While the company may have presented to this person that a thorough investigation was conducted they did make errors of assumption from what they described as video proof or a personal vendetta against this person led to the dismissal. (This store is noted for employee discontent, high turnover, and favoritism.)
While this most likely will get back to that store please contact me directly by email or phone so the former employee's account can be compared to the "official version"
Desired outcome: Apology, change reason for termination to "overstaffing" (or something related) and perhaps a small settlement to cover this person's expenses.

Saturday November 5th 2022 at 3;26 we ordered food from Food city 475 2138 south mayo trail pikeville ky 41501. The girl that took our order was very very rude to us Breann J. Is the name in the receipt. The food was not fit to eat , we ordered a chicken strip sandwich we received a dry chicken strip on a hot dog bun .( I have photos) . When I asked her about it she was extremely rude and loud. After she walked over to her co workers and began talking about us calling my 16 year old daughter a [censored]. I almost took it in my own hands but I reach out to the complaint dept first. I would like to be reimbursed for my food also which was unendible. Please take care of this situation as fas next time she will not get away with talking to my child this way. Please and thank you

I hate the Chilhowie VA store. There is always a line and your cashiers will not open another line and I hate the self check out. Your Chilhowie store has stopped carrying alot of the items that I used to buy on a regular basis. When I question the staff I am told that it is not a shelf item. I then tell them I just purchased the item less that 6 wks prior. Today I was there, the parking lot was full and every register line was backed up and every self check out was occupied then we learned that your computer system had crashed and no one could enter a payment. I left my cart and I walked out. I was not the only one to do this.

SO I am in there almost every other day... yesterday was no different and we our bill was $ 222.28, which is not uncommon for us and our pets.
ITEM:
Blue Dog Bakery- softies Sku [protected] Have been on sale for $ 3.99 and I usually buy a couple of bags a week- sticker shows $3.99 rings up $4.79 . I have asked over and over again that if its NOT on sale change it- if it is - Change it in your systems. I have lost probably $5.00 in over a week in this issue and NON of your cashiers care and get pissy when you tell them.
Secondly - WE bagged our own stuff again yesterday, while watching some that WORK there watch us and not even bother to come up... Our cashier was super sweet and you could see she was annoyed at this as were..
NOT once in the 7yrs shopping there has anyone ever offered to take our stuff out .. LAZY staff. and the policy of 2 or more in each open line means open more - NEVER happens here .. I MEAN NEVER .
Shameful as the other locations have so much more to offer.

Food city store#735 clerk Kobe Goins is the rudest & laziest worker! The lady in front of me was steady bagging her groceries and when she got behind he stopped and stood there taking to her watching her bag but was too lazy to help her. Before she finished bagging as her wallet and everything is laid out he scanned my four items and stood there as I struggled to get my wallet out as I have a baby in my arms and two younger kids with me - he repeats the total 3 times as if I didn't hear him the first time - & no he didn't bag one item he waited and handed me my receipt - so I went as slow as I could and bagged each item by itself double bagged - the manager only had to say well they are over worked - oh so you can be lazy and rude? Everyone is over worked - no excuse except we won't be going back to food city at all - even Walmart has more respectful employees and managers
Selling a product
I was in the store well before 11pm, I waited in line at the checkout for more than 10 mins. By the time I got to the checkout it was 11:01pm and the system would not allow me to purchase wine. Why is it my fault that there were people in front of me that couldn't use the checkout system? There should be a grace period to allow for such situations. This is the second time this has happened.
I am to the point that I will not shop at Food City or recommend that anyone shops there. This is 2022, this should not be happening!
Desired outcome: Sell wine after 11:00 pm!
Gas
I’ve gotten gas here several times over the past few months, about a month ago I had gotten gas and not even 2 miles down the road my car shut completely off in traffic. Started back up and was fine. This morning I got gas again, at the same spot as last time my car cuts off. Has been stalling on and off ever since. Someone needs to look into this so more people aren’t left in the middle of the road.
Artificial graded meat,false advertising,wic labels
#1. Butcher constantly wrapping their brown beef with red, (happened before they admitted doing it, gave higher grade meat). This time health dept got this pack!#2. Wic is a mess, I got a list what I get, pick out items go check out says ain't cover even though wic office insist it's covered and foodcity got labels saying its covered.#3. went get groceries and was out $10 gas just find out closed hour early today. Dont have worry about me coming back, but you all need get your [censored] together for other customers, and to many damn so called managers outside molesting cigarettes!

I have buying my Hispanic food stuffs from Food City for 20+ years, mostly from the store at Cactus and 32nd street in Phoenix. The product that has always been the catalyst for shopping Food City has been your bulk chorizo (best I have ever had until recently) a few months ago I got a 3lb batch that was super heavy in fat content, I brought this up to the meat department and the following purchase was great again 3 weeks later. I recently made another purchase of 3.5 lbs of regular and 1.5 of the spicy. And once again I got a totally different quality just full of fat. I took photos and would happy to forward of 1lb of your Chorizo soaking 5 paper towels just to be edible. I was left with a still greasy 1/2 pound. I truly hope this does not become the norm! Never had to question the quality of your Chorizo for 20yrs.
Desired outcome: I just want great chorizo, your last 20 years quality would produce maybe 2 tablespoons of removable fat. Please, charge more if you must, but no more bait and switch fat for meat in your chorizo.
Hamburger meat
My family and I have been food city customers for many years. Well.on June 24th 2022 my local food city in Chatsworth Ga had Hamburger meat on sale for $2.99 a pound but. if you bought $25.00 in store brands and other brands you would get it for a price of $1.99 a pound so we bought our limit of 10 pounds left came home added to our refrigerator to cook for the next day well. it was brown and had an aweful smell to it. I called my local store and asked for the meat department a associate answers I explained to him that the meat was ruined brown looking and had a smell to it. he said bring in your receipt for a refund I said well. dang I didn't have my receipt so could I bring it back for a replacement or refund his reply was okay and hung up.
