Mixed Experiences with FreeShipping.com
As someone who has been a member of FreeShipping.com for several years, I have had a mixed experience with the service. While I have enjoyed receiving cash back rewards and free shipping rebates from a variety of online retailers, I have also encountered issues with billing and customer service. There have been instances where promised discounts were not honored, and interactions with customer representatives were less than satisfactory. It's important to carefully review the terms and conditions before signing up to avoid any surprises. Overall, FreeShipping.com can be a valuable resource for saving money on online purchases, but it's essential to stay vigilant and manage expectations.

Shoe rack
I specifically ordered a big shoe rack (16 compartments) on 08.dec but on delivery i got a tiny 4 compartment rack, like a joke. I got charged for a big rack yet getting this tiny piece, which not even compatible for my shoes. Is this for real? Is that how costumers are being treated by charging high rates n getting a [censored]ty goods? I need my refund or replacement. This is not good for any business if i am not being treated right 👎

I have been a subscriber to FreeShipping.com for 8+ years. I've never had any issues with them. The issues have been with the company I purchased from. This seems to be the case above. This person should not be contacting FreeShipping, but where she bought the item. FreeShipping reimburses shipping if you had to pay some up to $10 + if the retail outlet you bought the item(s) from is signed with FreeShipping, you will receive 10% back and several times a year, they will even have higher %'s. If you buy a lot online, it was well worth the $13/mo because I always received more than that back. Sometimes I received $50-100! That's good money! I have cut back on my online buying and they raised their membership to $19/mo., so I cancelled in Nov '23. I just checked their site, and now they are charging $20/mo. If you buy a lot online, it's more than worth it. If you don't then I say, skip it.
Freeshipping.com fees
I found a charge on my credit card for the amount of $19.99 on August the 27th 2023 via PayPal for freeshipping.com membership. I only remembered that I was forced to sing up to this account in order to finish my OldNavy purchase. Which is obviously unrelated to this website.
I demand an immediate refund for this money as it wasn’t authorized by me.
Of course I clicked on “something” to authorize but it was completely misleading when you try to input your address and authorize purchase for a new clothes to find out that it was stolen by a different party to make money out of me.
My email is [protected]@yahoo.com
Let me know what else is needed to get this 19.99 back asap.
Cash back rebates
I made a few larger purchases in april. They claim back up documemtaion was never received even when i received conformation from freeshipping .Com. I too was cancelled with out notice twice with in a week right afer i submitted those claims in april as well. I called and noone could give me any answers as to why. They also had to reinstate me the 2nd time. I have been fighting them since april. They have been giving me the run around. I have saved all correspondence proving they received everything. I also received emails from mike and tammy. Been with them for 2 years so i know what they need. You can contact me at [protected]. Patricia adsit 8 wellington rd syracuse ny 13212
Desired outcome: STILL FIGHTING THEM FOR PAYOUT.. I AM NOW SENDING THEM ALL DOCUMENTS BY CERTIFIED MAIL

Alleged “free shipping membership” per deceitful pop-up ads and misleading cc statement line items
How on earth is this co getting such a high rating?! My elderly mother received the FIRST email EVER from this company yesterday stating they were about to raise their fees (to $19/mo.). I have vetted her incoming emails like a hawk w/out fail, daily—for potential scams—for several years. This company clearly wants to stay under the radar knowing they are duping people who never knew they signed up! We have discovered they have been charging her monthly for THREE YEARS. She never used any alleged “membership.” The CS rep stated: “Oh, it must have been a pop-up ad you once clicked.” They cancelled “membership” and agreed only to refund 4 mos. (Obviously b/c that’s only how much the VISA will agree to credit.) As far as I am concerned THIS IS tantamount to A SCAM preying especially on elderly cc holders. The line item “FreeShipping.com” is easily confused for Amazon Prime’s (or other retailers) free shipping. The VISA co is complicit in permitting their cardholder statements to reflect this costly ambiguity and confusion. Do you want to know what else the FreeShipping.com rep said to my mom? “We’re trying to get our name changed in the future to avoid any confusion.” Sure you are, at boardroom level I bet; what a load of BS! #FRAUDSTERS.
Desired outcome: VISA and other cc companies absolutely should NOT PERMIT such an ambiguous and confusing vendor company name appearing as a line item on customer statements: “FreeShipping.”
Recurring charge of $19.00 since february
In February 2023, I placed an order from YouFlowers. Accoring to a Freeshipping.com representative with whom I spoke today, when I accepted the final cost of that Youflowers order, I also accepted a subscription to Freeshipping.com. This was not an intentional choice but rather a deceptive practice by this company. My CC company recently flagged the July 23, 2023 charge attempt as a fraudulent transaction. However, Freeshipping.com has successfully received 5 other payments fro $19.00 from my CC. I find this practice deceptive and wish to be refunded $19.00 for March, April, May June, and July immediately.
I will next file a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you.
Desired outcome: Cancellation of the fraudulent service and a refund for $96.00
don't fall victim to this scams , they lure you into investing your hard earned money and when you request for withdrawal it turns out to be an effort in futility , i was a victim to this scam and it took the intervention of Againstcon.com an asset expert that tracked and got back my money
Refund for:February 17th, 2023 $19.00March 17th, 2023 $19.00April 17th, 2023 $19.00
I noticed that there were 3 charges on my debit card from your company freeshipping. com. ÌI have never signed up for,? I don't have an account and I feel like I'm getting the run around from your customer service. They keep telling me there's no account. And I keep saying correct that's what i'm calling you I'm disabled and i'm on a limited income and sixty dollars in the last three months could have really helped me out!
Customer service checked under my name, date of birth, first and last 4 numbers of the debit card and now a screenshot of the charges! Regardless, if it's under somebody else's name they're still using my debit card so I would assume that you could look it up that way and get this taken care of once and for all please!
If this doesn't get resolved in the next week to week and a half? I'm just gonna have to go to the BBB and to social media about how I feel like I'm getting the brush off!
Looking forward to getting this taken care of immediately!

Same [censored] happened to me. Apparently my husband ordered a desk for me from Office Depot and then canceled it in the same day cause we found a cheaper one at the store itself. You are automatically signed up when placing the order. Must read fine print. I totally forgot about this order then I see these $19 charges I call them and they can't find me at all so I give them my husband's name and Boom it was under him. Still waiting for refund we'll see. If they can't find it under you then it's under someone else that used your account to make a purchase from a vendor that uses freeshipping.com as a 3rd party shipper. You become an automatic member and they start charging you. Very sneaky bad business hoping people forget all about the charges while they take our money!
Paid for membership but never get my % in cash back
I did order this and I do use it. However, when I place the order through the links as I am suppose to in order to get cash back I never get my percent in cash back. I asked them and they say it's up to the other merchant if or they will say I didn't use their link which I know 100000% sure I did because I am all about saving and cash back. Has happened on more than 3 occasions. I would cancel but then I would think they wouldn't give me my cash back on previous orders I placed.
I guess this is how they make money is from us little people as we try to save a dime and it cost us 100's of dollars.
Desired outcome: Give me my money for the cash back of the items I have purchased through their links as I am sure they received the money from the merchant.
Make sure your settings on your browser allow you to be tracked or they won't have any way to prove you used the sight. I have had my fair share of issues too but gef at least $1000 cash back every year... You just have to put the effort into it
Unaware Enrollment of Membership
I received a warning from my credit company about the charge of $19 from FreeShipping.com on February 6th, 2023. I called my credit company to dispute it and found out it had already charged me $3 in January. I vaguely remember that free shipping was offered when I purchased some items from eBay. I did browse what the offer was about, but I DID NOT sign it up. I paid my shipping fee for each item that I purchased. The company TRICKED me by clicking what's all about. It seemed my "account" was made by FreeShipping.com already, according to the website. My curiosity cost me like this. Be Aware of the Scam!
Scam
This is one of those websites where you initially sign up for a small rebate but then they charge you $13 dollars per month to use their services. You forget to cancel but they don't send any communication. To save money you have to go through their website. Called customer service and they basically ignored me. Besides the initial rebate, i wasted hundreds of dollars on monthly fees without even knowing. This is literally how they make their money; they bet on people forgetting to cancel. Please stay away and save your money elsewhere!
FreeShipping.Com is a scammer. Macys & Kohls Department Stores already charged shipping costs to my credit card. However, FreeShipping.Com charged $13 again for each item I ordered. It is outrageous.
Membership fees
Beware, this company is a scam
If you shop online with KOHL’S, Macy’s, overstock, BEST BUY, Lands End, Lowes, Groupon, Nordstrom rack, Home Depot and many others BEWARE. If you get a pop-up window that says “10% Cash Back, Free Shipping & More!” it’s an SCAM! Read the fine print because they charge you $1.97 for a 7 day trial, then if you don’t cancel within the 7 days they will change your bank account $12.97 per month until you see the unauthorized debit on your paper statement from your bank.
They charge you even if you never use their service. You think you're paying for your cart and getting “free shipping” but you're just getting scammed. How reputable companies like KOHL agree to do business with an SCAM company like FreeShipping.com is beyond me. If you contact the company’s customer service, all you get is some uneducated [censored] that wants to argue with you. So beware, if you get a pop-up when shopping online from FreeShipping.com, don’t click on it! You will be sorry. We never used this service, did not agree to membership, and have been charged since November 2018 a fee we never agreed to. That is over $767.00 for free shipping.
Desired outcome: A Full refund of all membership fees and the charge for the “free” 7 day trial.
I canceled the subscription but it was never canceled.
On Saturday 5 th November 2022. I noticed that free shipping was taking money out of my account.. so I canceled online. Saturday. On Tuesday the 9 th I call them I tried to get my money refunded. Because they have been charging me for 29 months each month $10. I talked with some representatives I talked with the manager I got $60 back in refund. I know that I canceled it March 22 of 2020. I used it one time on eBay when I started the account. For shipping of a pair of shoes. When the shoes were delivered I canceled the subscription. Because I canceled the subscription I have never used it since this day. Ethan one of the managers told me that I opened the account on March 28, 2020. No I open the account with eBay the day I ordered the shoes which was March18, 2020. I received the shoes at my residence March 22, 2020 and canceled this description. So that shows that your system was messed up because I had to have you guys account to get free shipping for my order placed on March 18th 2020. So there was a glitch in your system I guess caused my subscription not to be canceled. If it shows that I didn’t even open the account until March 28, 2020. So that is not my fault I thought it was canceled.
Desired outcome: A full refund

It's all a scam
I never sighed up for this freeshipping.com , but some how they got my credit card info, but they did not have permission to
charge my credit card account
at $13. a month and I want my money back, and will take it to small claims if I don't receive my money back.
So please everyone watch out on your bank statements, because [censored]ty people like this love to steal from hard working people.
And can do this without our permission.
They should be put in jail
Desired outcome: I will work to get my money back, that they stole from me.
freeshipping.com
I did not sign up for this company. They have been charging me $13.00 a month since 3/01/2022. I have tried to get this company in good faith should refund the full amount. I have not used this site or have no intention of using this site ever.
These companies are insidious because they will keep charging my card and not caring if I use their services or not. Never heard of this company until I went through my card account.
Desired outcome: Get the full refund starting from 03/01/2022 which is $106.00
Money back to my account
I never signed up for this service yet they are charging me please stop this and refund my money. I think this is a scam as I never got any free shipping except from Amazon. Where did this even come from? I never received any free shipping and just saw it on the bank account. I will contact them if this is not resolved and they will get to the bottom of this but I'm hoping you can do this. Thank you for your help.

Website says it will give you money back on shipping but doesn't tell you that you're agreeing to pay a service fee
I completed an order on JCpenny.com and then got a pop up saying that I "qualified" for a rebate on shipping for the purchase. I followed through the link and gave them my requested information. Name, address, email. They then asked where I wanted the money to be sent. I gave them my address again. Then they linked to PayPal and it appeared that they may refund the money directly to my PayPal, but that wasn't the case. Fortunately I paid attention and PayPal told me that I was agreeing to a Sevice fee. The website was misleading and fraudulent!
Desired outcome: This preditory and fraudulent company needs to be shut down.
We're sorry for any confusion regarding the membership fee. The membership fee is included in the registration when you join & stated again in the welcome email sent upon completing registration. Please reach out directly at Help@FreeShipping.com, we will be happy to help.

I have been using freshipping.com for some time now. It was all good until it wasnt. Last week they shut my account down citing I had multiple accounts from this address. But thats not true, I cancelled my account before signing up with my different and preferred email id. The real reason they cancelled me was because they owe me more than $600 in rebates, they had me go through their site for multiple purchase over the last few months and when it came time to pay they cancelled on me without notice. They didnt even sent me the check for last month. When reached out support they said they dont have any knowledge of it and a big executive will email me with explanation which I did get from a guy Joe( same guy who does customer support) saying multiple accounts violation. So respectfully asked him can you show me the dates of these accounts active but there has been no response. So I checked other complaints about this company and the pattern is the same: whenever your rebate goes a little high like greater than $200 they cancel on you without notice. I even asked them to talk to me and sort it out for the higher rebates but they never responded. Now I want to urge others who were scammed like this to do the following so others are protected:
- Reach out to the retailers and complained about this company. Return your stuff you bought from them and give them the reason
- Call you credit card company to block this merchant as put them in the black list.
- I have a corp lawyer friend who is helping me guide through this on if we can do some sort of small court case on them. Reach out to one and see if this is what you want to pursue. If I have more than 10 such cases we can all file against them together.
Desired outcome: Reach out to me and pay me my rebates
I just received an email my membership would be cancelled as of October 7 and I never canceled. I await their response.
They just paid be about 197 last month but i had a few large purchases like a set of tires and a 600$ cabelas purchase. But right now they owe about 80$ for my next check. So we'll see what they do.
Please keep the lawsuit updated
Charging without consent
This company it's been charging me month after month for a membership, I never heard about this company before, I had to cancel my card, and even with the new one they charged again, when I called they want all my information, one of the representative told me if I don't respond security questions they couldn't verify who I am, after the manager said they don't have security questions, they want even my card number, " because they need to verify that they have in on file
Be careful!
I'm fighting to make them stop charging me
