monthly $12.97 charge never cancelled
Got a window in geeksdotcom that would not go away to use freeshipping.com and so I filled out the form for xmas present.
Later in january I called and cancelled the account and charges.
Now it is july and I am still calling and cancelled the account and charges.
This is one of the biggest rip off companies in the world and never held accounatable for being a consumer thief.

Bet money I will be back in a few months to fill out the same complaint about the same company that did not cancel my account.
monthly charges
I want the $12.97 charge to my Visa Credit Card stopped and all back charges credited to my Visa totalling $168.61. The free shipping link when ordering flowers was deceiving. My order was a one time special gift to a relative turning 85 years old. This has been going on for 13 months until I called [protected]. I've had no need to order ProFlowers since May 12, 2011. I definitely will be reporting this deception to the Better Business Bureau. Call me at [protected]. Apparently I've a membership #9387807. A confirmation #[protected] was given me by operator. 12.97 per month charge not requested
I did not sign up for this IC Freeshipping.com. They have taken 12.97 out of my bank acct 2 months in a row I am filing Fraud alert with my Bank tomorrow. I have not ordered anything that would be shipped from them. Certainly not for 12.97 a month. I will not send you copies of my bank statements.
Read full review of FreeShipping.com and 16 commentscharges monly and did not get any service.
I ordered some Easter baskets from persona creations for Easter and IC Free Shipping was supposed to make sure that the shipping was free. It was not and yet they are charging me a monthly fee for a service I never received and I would like it to stop asap. I want reimbursed for the money that was already withdrawn on my account. I will also let my bank...

I ordered flowers to have shipped and later canceled the order and was charged $12.97 and this charge has continued for over a year. I was not told this was a membership that was charged monthly. I found this out when I did my taxes that this charge has been going on since the day I ordered the flowers. I want a full refund of these charges from the 1st day since this service has never been used.
Let me know when I can expect my refund. Thank you Andrew Cronrath
i called their customer service number and and they refunded all of my money that was taken out. Call [protected].
scam - dishonest
This website pops up when you order something on line through one of their 'business partners' sites, but you will not get free shipping on that order like it states, as you have to go "through" their website for it to work. Then you will get charged each month for the service (most people don't realize this til after they are charged). Then you have to apply for the shipping rebate. When you do apply for a rebate, it takes 4-6 weeks to receive AND IF YOU CANCEL before you get your rebate (even though IT IS IN PROCESS and you've paid your monthly fee) you will not get it because your acct. has to be OPEN to receive the rebate... therefore you are always having to pay a minimum of $12.97 far past the time you filed for the shipping rebate -- which usually is less than their fee! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
This happened to me.I cancelled BEFORE my 30 days was up, Due to the fact that they said it would take 6 weeks to get my REBATE.Which means I'd have to pay for my next 30 day membership, your account has to stay open in order to get the REBATE.they in turn take that money that you paid for your next 30 day membership, and that is what they send you, YOU"RE STILL PAYING FOR YOUR OWN SHIPPING! WHAT A SCAM! I WON"T EVER DEAL WITH THIS WEB SITE EVER AGAIN! AND YOU SHOULD"NT EITHER.
i've been charged on 09/23 for $12.97 by icfreeshiping.com and I have not made any orders
I've been charged on 09/23 for $12.97 by ICFreeshiping.com and I have not made any orders. Have no idea where it came from.
sorry, this is to early for me but what i wrote is not a complaint. but if you read what i wrote i'm a member of freeshipping.com not icfreshipping.com i've never heard of that.
i'm a member of freeshipping.com i've been with them since 12/19/2013. i have received so far over $300.00 in rebates. i also got a ebay gift card for $25 for joining free shipping.com. so far i've been with them a year. never had a problem with customer service. always look forward to getting my mail knowing there could be a check for me. i'm sorry that your all having a problem. also receivng checks for returns i have made.
Did you online shop at redenvelope.com ? They partner with freeshipping to rip you off. At checkout there was some fine print you missed and signed up for this scam charge of $12.97 per month. Avoid redenvelope.com - do not online shop there.
sketchy fine print!!
Signed up for freeshipping.com to get shipping rebate from buying flowers from a flower site. Turns out if you signed up for that, you'll get automatic monthly charges to your credit card. The fine prints are sketchy and no mention of this is going to be a recurring fees. When I called to ask for refund, they are only willing to refund the last payment. I've been charged for 3 months now. So not worth it!

Hello, My name is Lan Tran, the last 4 numbers of my account is *5061. I was charged by IC Freeshipping twice without any reason. The 1st time on Nov 10 2011 & the 2nd time on Dec 10 2011.
(I was so busy and forgot to claim you. Now it's the 2nd time). I would like to have a clear explanation from your end promptly.
Thank you.
most idiotic, time-wasting company
This is one of the most frustrating, most idiotic, inept companies I have ever had the misfortune to try to do business with! I invested over an hour trying to get a measly $10 dollar rebate! I know I shouldn't have spent that long, but it kept looking as if I finally was at the point of submitting the rebate, and had the stupid company not had so many hoops to jump through, and had the customer service operators not been so ignorant, I would have been able to pay $3.50 for 3 books, rather than $13.50. Stay away from this company! It is not worth it to try to do business with them! You will spend far more than the maximum of $10.00 you can get in terms of time and hassle you will go through!

I have been on the phone for an hour myself because Personal Creations website supposedly has partnered up with Freeshipping and on freeshippings sight they offer instant rebate on your checkout- it didn't happen- spent the last hour (mind you somewhat cordial at least- freeshipping was not but personal creations was) with both websites and finally found out that I would have to link thru another host site- proflowers on freeshipping - enter my item on their website and thennnnnnnnn I would get the instant shipping rebate. What a scam.
I agree with this complaint. I have just been totally ripped off by FreeShipping.com. I am not that adept at computers so called to see if I could mail in my rebate request. I was told I could. All I had to do was send in a copy of my paperwork showing the order number and the shipping amount. I did all this, had someone last week acknowledge my amounts, and now am being told because I didn't go online to get a claim ID number I can't get my rebate. Now they can't seem to find my paperwork. I did what I was told to do. I had cancelled my membership after sending all this paperwork in because of all the hassle of sending in the paperwork. I'm sure this is why they won't give me my rebates. Please don't do business with this company. By the way they get a percentage of every order that is made using freeshipping.com. Customer Service - ZERO
scam
I was charged for this for 3 years before we noticed this on our credit card, incredible as it may seem I just didn't notice I called their number [protected] and spoke to someone who seemed shocked that someone wouldn't want this service, after complaining about the lack of notice of these charges they said they could credit me for 12 months - better than nothing but still $242 short of what I paid them. This is a scam!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Just noticed same $83.88 charged to my credit card and all i did was VSIT their website...I defiinitly did NOT fill anything out so how scary is that!
EVERYONE that has complalined about this company needs to call them at:
[protected] and email them at: customercare@freeshipping.com
Demand that they not only refund the FULL amount of $83.88 and NOT pro-rated amount of $81.58 but:
contact BBB.com and all your local news TV stations to conduct a full investigation and see if they won't air it!
If we all do this, than maybe we can stop them. Found following article from 2006 about all same companies involved:
http://www.comparerewards.com/archives/002057.html
Let's all be pro-active and shut them down!
I'm glad you have posted about your experience with freeshipping.com. I just made a purchase from Geek.com and their promo popped up, looked into it and then when they wanted my credit card info the first page, I thought i would do a search about this company. Definitely will NOT be signing up for their 'service' = 'scam' =( I fell prey to one of these things before when buying a kids book for under a dollar. For over the course of a year or so they charged -- stole!-- over $300 from my bank account. Amongst the many charges each month from our account, my husband and I missed it, but some how I'd signed up for this 'offer' that ripped me off BIG TIME!
I found a charge on my card as well for both of these fees however they are from completely separate companies. $14.95 is a company called easy saver and they are no way related to the $83.88 charge. Either your CC company gave you the wrong information or you are going off wrong assumptions.. they have different 800 numbers and everything, I am wondering how you came to the conclusion that they were the same?
I got my charge refunded the day I called from Freeshipping.com, I did not get it refunded from Easy Saver. I blame myself, it is not the companys fault.. everyone needs to read the terms and conditions for themselves. That is funny that you posted it was the same company though, these blogs are meant for accurate information.
I have reported them to BBB last week and am waiting on further action. I would strongly suggest to everyone to do the same as that's the only way to make a difference. I am also going to report them to Consumer Affairs. I have recieved my $83.88 back however they refused to give me the $14.95 charge back that was made the next day after they charged me the first time. They said it wasn't them but when I contacted my cc company they gave me phone number from the bill. I called and ofcourse it was them. They said they would refund me but we will see. I had my credit card stopped because of that and had to go through lengthy process with them and the cc company. I am so disguasted by this company's behavior...I know 3 other people who used this company for Valentine's day who had the same charges! I really hope nobody will ever use this comany in the future!
unauthorized charge
I received transaction notice from my credit card company and found out I'm getting charged 1, 023yen twice on the same date, 9/12/2011 for ic*freeshipping.com. I have no idea who they are and what these charges for.

free shipping???
So I joined for the "free" trial membership before I read all I could about this company and I have to agree with most of the people. If you pay nothing you will receive nothing. Since your free trial is only for 30 days, they will certainly hold on to your first check until that date has posted. Once you subscribe at a monthly charge your check is still being held for whatever reason. I decided to cut my losses and get out. Free shipping is never free (unless the price of your item is high enough to warrant it).

charges
Hello, Freeshipping.com,
I have just noticed a $12.97 charge on my credit card from 30 July 2011. On 29 July 2011 I requested information regarding any fees for freeshipping.com and attained the nebulous email reply below. I, a second time, requested information and finally was informed of the fee. I requested cancellation. Also in the nebulous first reply I was told "Your Introductory Bonus Rebate is guaranteed regardless of your membership status". I just spent a "seven time request" converstaion with Eleanor #430. Seven times I requested return of the $12.97 charge before she said "Your check will be in the mail, have a nice day" and hung up on me. Eleanor #430 was impolite several times during this converstaion. Freeshipping.com phone number is not available on line on your web site. I attained your phone number from complaintsboard.com wherein scam and freeshipping.com are addressed. I await my $12.97 credit card charge, and I await my $15.00 freeshipping rebate from my original Proflowers order wherein freeshipping.com entertains what I deem to be a bait and switch. Awaiting both returns, P., Ed. S.

they claim I signed up for membership
While buying an item online from Carol Wright, there was a button on the screen that said: This order qualifies for $10 cash back — Click To Claim
I wasn't aware of the scam at the time, so I clicked. The first screen asked for name, address, and possibly to enter the credit card number. Since I thought I was dealing with Carol Wright, I entered the information.
Well, it turns out that I had just subscribed, according to them, to an auto-renewing monthly membership at $11.97 per month. I never received the $10 back from Carol Wright, but beginning the next month, these charges started appearing on my credit card. I frankly did not recognize them until the third month, as I buy several things a month from the Internet, but on the third month, I followed up by calling the 800 number on the charge, [protected]. They explained to me that I had signed up back in April, and were only willing to refund the current month's charge and cancel my membership. I don't remember accepting the membership, as I make a practice not to buy memberships of this kind. I had gotten burnt several years back. They told me they had sent a confirmation email, which if I did not reply to, they would assume I wanted the membership. I believe the email went to SPAM, as my ISP sends a lot of these types of email to the SPAM bucket. Bottom line, stay away from this outfit, and from any companies that associate themselves with them via these offers for rebates, free shipping, and provide links at their site. I will never do business with Carol Wright again.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
I called an 800 to contact my utility company and this same service kept connecting me to a live person. I spoke with a lady who sounded to be of Indian or middle eastern descent. She told me I would receive 2 $100 gift cards and also a resturant gift card and I only had to pay for shipping. Of course my card was charged for about $7. She told me I would have 2 weeks to cancel the $15 monthly free shipping subscription and I can keep the GiftCards. Of course I received paper work and a coupon to mail off payment but I NEVER received the GiftCards. Now I'm in the process of requesting a refund. LOL another lesson learned and I'm thankful it wasn't a large sum of money withdrew from my account.
So you went to a website, entered your name, address and credit card number and clicked submit and FreeShipping.com is at fault because you're an idiot? This is no scam; it's a value added loyalty club where if you shop frequently online, it more than pays for itself many times over. Carol Wright nor FreeShipping did anything wrong, you just didn't read what you were subscribing to, which is your own fault.

charging cc $11.97/mo. for nothing
WWW.*ICFREESHIPPING.COM slams people into an $11.97 charge every month after you ask for a discount on shipping of a product from another company such as a dvd order or anything. They wait a couple of months or so after you have ordered the product, in my case at least 5-6 months and then they start billing and collecting every month for absolutely no reason but criminal fraud and greed. I guess they get away with it in most cases because people have forgotten, can't figure out what it is, or don't notice it. I didn't really pick-up on it until this month which is a total of $35.91 for the total of the SCAM perpetrated on my CC. I have filed a fraud charge against them with my bank and I am ready to prosecute to the fullest extent possible.

This company is very tricky, you have to be veeeeery careful. They just "stole" almost a $100 from my credit card acct, which was EXPIRED lol - how is that possible? They never send a notice, and in their contract you cannot find how much they "can" charge you. They think every person in America in dumb enough to comform to this absurd.

unknown/authorized charges
My wife and I received a $12.97 charge from this company and we had never heard of them. I emailed them and found that they get their business by having customers at various websites (Sherri's Berries.com in our case) assume that "free shipping" is exactly that. Not a well-disguised signup for a third party service.
They cancelled my "subscription" with only one email and refunded my initial $12.97 with only one phone call.
At least that was painless.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
For what it's worth: My wife ordered something via Red Envelope (a ProFlowers affiliate) in Nov. '10, and Freeshipping.com has been charging $12.97 per month since then (6 times before she asked me if I knew what it was for). Anyway, I called Red Envelope's customer service number on May 13, '11. The voice mailbox said "push 2 for freeshipping.com", so I did. I spoke with Rita, who was very pleasant and professional. I explained that we did not intend to sign up for this--that my wife probably thought it was a one-time thing related to this individual order, not a subscription program. Rita said that's common, but she immediately contacted Freeshipping.com to cancel our subscription and told me that we would be getting all the fees refunded to our account. Obviously it remains to be seen whether that happens. Because of all the "scam" talk on the web about this, I was expecting a battle, but getting this resolved could not have been more painless. (If you have to call, ask for Rita!)
