I joined FreeShipping and signed up to get the $10 for free shipping. But then I noticed that they started charging $13 from my credit card every month. I thought that there was some kind of mistake made and contacted their customer care. I asked them to cancel my subscription and few days later received an email stating that my subscription was cancelled and they wont be charging me anymore. Several months later I noticed that every month $13 disappears from my bank account. I immediately contacted FreeShipping again and demanded a full refund. They said they couldn't do that and didn't even explain why. Do not fall for this scam like I did. It's a trap!

On Jan 9, 2016, I bought some stuffs from monoprice.com and I saw there is an offer of shipping rebate from freeshipping.com
During the signup process, it ask for credit card info, but never mention anything about membership fee!
I just got my credit card bill and see the $12.97 charge from them.
How can they charge us without mentioning the membership fee? That's totally a scam.
I totally request a refund from them and cancel my membership.

Apparently I have been scammed with unauthorized credit card charges from freeshipping.com on two of my credit cards. I never have been a subscriber to that service. My Discover Credit Card and my American Express Card are charged every month with $12.97. I never have received by email or by regular mail any communication from freeshipping.com concerning such subscription. I asked to cancel that service as soon as possible and to refund me all the money charged to my credit cards as well. This complain is the first step to claim for refund of unauthorized charges on my credit cards by freeshipping.com.
These charges on two credit cards do not have an explanation. Is this a Scam, a Fraud or an Error?

"Apparently I'm not the only one to get scammed. I ended up joining it because it stated of a free rebate from a book that I ordered on another website. I didn't know what I was joining but I should have known better. I saw and got no notice that I would have to pay for something but lo and behold when I look at my account, I had money taken out from there. I called to get my subscription cancelled and to get a refund but they mentioned that there was an email stating what I was getting into. Yes, I may have deleted an email but I swear, it didn't state that I would have to buy something. Besides, going onto the site, it states that you can try a free trial, what kind of trial do you have to pay something for. Even the rebate was supposed to be free, but instead of getting something, I end up giving. So they did cancel my subscription but they won't give me a refund (and I didn't even have the account for long maybe like a week!). They tell me to enjoy what I can left but I don't buy a lot of things online due to not having the luxury of having a lot of money (poor college student). These people are evil scammers. I've learned my lesson and now I'm hoping I can help someone before they do the same."

My husband purchased some products but he did not pay any shipping charges. Products he ordered did not come in time, so he just cancelled the order. Later he noticed that his credit card was charged $13/mo for 7 month membership on FreeShipping. Somehow he accidentally joined freeshipping.com. I think he probably checked the information about free shipping, and it probably led him to their website. He did not sign up for any memberships because he had no interest in it. But, when he made an order he gave them his personal information and his credit card info. He contacted them immediately because he wanted to know why he was being charged. He was told that they will not refund anything since he signed up for a membership.

I called customer service today after being charged $12.97, again, after I had called last month to cancel. I looked back over my credit card bills and realized I had been charged the $12.97 since September 2015. I do not remember signing up for this, I remember a free rebate offer of $10, I got when I purchased something online but if I had known I was signing up for something that comes with a membership fee I would never have taken the $10. The girl I spoke to today told me immediately that "no refunds would be issued", I went online to this website and I have read several complaints about this company doing other people this way. Some of the people did get refunds and I would like to ask that you refund my $12.97 X 5 months = $64.85 (minus the $10. you gave me to hook me in). I do not buy things online hardly ever and certainly do not use a shipping business. I would appreciate my money back after you take the $10 you (gave) me.

My account was charged $12.97 when my husband signed up for a $15.00 rebate for the purchase of a watepik water flosser. This is a bogus charge intertwined in a rebate. Rebates are never rebates and to ad this erroneous charge ensnaring the unsuspecting public in your rip off program is dishonest and deceitful. To anyone researching Waterpik - don't buy on line. Interesting that the details of filing a complaint include the request for people to be 'polite' and avoid using 'abusive language'. When one is ripped off the only language that comes to mind is not very polite!

A charge on my credit card for $12.97, which I had not even heard of before. I tried to contact ic free shipping, but can't get to help, customer service, online, etc., all absolutely unsuccessful. I know I could protest to my credit card co., but it's not their fault, (As far as I know). Today I called a representitive at freeshipping.com about $12.97 of unauthorized charges against my bank account. She told me that I had clicked on an offer on ebay, which I didn't. I do use ebay rather often so I know what I'm doing. Anyway she said she would give me a coplimentory refund within 3 to 5 business days. Good luck to all of you who have been scammed. With reference to the above mentioned recurring monthly charges that keep appearing in my bank account, please know that i have never authorized nor purchased this service and do not wish to purchase. Please fix these false charges that monthly keep showing up in my bank account and reimburse me all of those monies charged.
The ic *freeshipping.com charges appear to be coming from endicia, which does business "for" e - bay and usps, neither of which i personally do online business with. Endicia is an internet postage service provider based in palo alto, california.

Who is Freeshipping.com? I never heard of them until they charged my new debit card. I only bought from 2 companies with it. Amazon.com & Carol Wright. Someone from one of those companies had to have given them my debit number. They charge my card for a bogus subscription that I not only did not agree to, but I didn't even know about. Total rip-off company!
