I called today concerning service for my Microhood that quit working on Saturday morning.After taking with the rep from Frigidaire I received an email that canceled the service date for my service. Next I called the service business, Leo's Appliance in Modesto, 209-544-2336, I was given in the area; the male answering the phone started by talking at the same time I was requesting assistance; he hung up on me; I called and he hung up on a second time. I called Frigidaire back a second time; the representative I spoke with said I didn't receive an email that canceled the appointment; I told him yes I did and I had the email; I have archived it for proof. He did schedule a new appointment for me with a new company, Appliance Service Plus.
A representative from Appliance Service Plus called me immediately to see if I wanted to keep the appointment; I said of yes. She in fact offered service today, 1 to 3:00 PM instead of Wednesday. Efrain the service technician called early, 1:00 AM, and asked if could come by early. He arrived, diagnosed the problem, gave me their contact phone number to call back for the next appointment next week. Parts need to be ordered before repair can be made.
I did receive a 2nd email after the 2nd phone call setting up the 2nd appointment.

This unit was purchased as a package the ladder of 2015. We were havng issues with one of the doors sealing. A technician came out and diagnosis the issue and recommended the gasket needed to be replaced. After replacing the gasket, I advised him that the door was doing the same thing so the problem wasn't fix. He told me to give it 24-48 hours. I called the next day and he returned and stated that after investigaing the issue he was told that the magnet needed to be adjusted. He ordered the magnet and I put it on but the door is still not sealing tightly. I took off the magnet on the other side and discovered that it has 3 magnets and not one. It is my guess that no magnet has been there all along but since no magnets were there all along but singe the gasket was worned it became the more obvious that the door wasn't sealing. I am very disappointed after spending the amount of money on a kitchen package, I have to replace a seal within 3 years and the technician not aware that there were magnets! I also had to replace the panel on the stove after receiving a F11error message and an annoying beeping sound! I have ordered the additional magnets but wanted you to be aware of the products and service. This can't be good.

why I kept getting lies from the managers on warranty service
I bought a electrolux microwave about a year ago and mailed in the warrenty information and when I called for service they sent a guy out who was rude and unprossional who soon as he walked he refused to work on the micowave due to the fact that it was listed as a 2012 model year. I called electrolux and was told that it was still under warrenty and everytime they set up a appointment for service they never showed up. Called back and had to go through the same bull about them not wanting to cover my warrenty. Talked to Adhley the manager and she checked out everything and called and said she had found everything she needed and that the warrenty was good and someone would come out that friday and fix the microwave, but no every showed up. Called several times again and she would never return my call. They even sold me a extended service warrenty. Now I can't get anyone to help me. They keep telling me that I purchased a salvaged microwave but it was a brand new one in original box and with arrrenty papers which I mailed in. Why if they didn't wan't to cover it didn't they tell me from the beginning. They kept trying to tell me that I bought it as a salvaged unit which 5 didn't. Why would they tell me that the warrenty was good and that they would get someone out to fix it soon as possible. Called several days ago and was told that they had to update everthing and they would call back which they never did. called back and could not get in tough with the manager Ashley. Was given another one who didn't want to help at all. Why give a warrenty if they are not going to cover it and over and over say that it is still good. The worst thing someone can do is lie overe and over again. I'll never buy another Electrolux nor any product made by them again. Everything I have is a electrolux applaince now, but any new ones will not be electrolux. My model microwave is Ei30BM60msa. Will also get in tough wilh my news paper who will check these problems out and put it on national tv .

side-by-side frigidaire refrigerator less than four years old - cracked inner lining
I purchased a Frigidaire side-by-side refrigerator Model # FFSS2614Q, Serial # 4A41905934, Lot # [protected] June 24, 2014, at H. H. Gregg in Duluth, Georgia. Just this week, I noticed a crack in the freezer lining that extends horzontally the entire depth of the freezer. (see attached photos) The freezer has a build up of frost, and the temperature of the refrigerator is 52 degrees. I am so disappointed that this Frigidaire didn't last even four years. I understand that the refrigerator was out of warranty after one year, however, I request that I be reimbursed $250 for the food that ruined. I understand from the repairman that the lining is not a repairable item and should not have cracked spontaneously as it did. I am a single senior citizen, and no abuse of this Frigidaire Refrigerator has occurred.
In addition, during the less than four years I've owned this refrigerator, I've replaced the ice bucket two times at approximately $100 each time, due to the plastic cracking.
Although $250 doesn't compensate for failure of this unit in less than four years, I think it's only fair to be compensated for the food that has been lost due to the liner failure.

Purchased in feb 2019. 4 service calls by 2 different service agents of frigidaire. The second service agent critisized the manner in the way the 1st tried to repair and repaired his way. Initially the noises were slightly softer but within 2 days were louder than ever. This refer is abnormally loud and numerous guests to our home have commented without our even mentioning. I called cus, service again 5 th time. I was treated very poorly and told "live with it" "read your user guide". Well, I got a user guide when it was delivered, not when we were sold the unit. We purchased 3 other major appliances from frigidaire and have had only 1 minor issue which they fixed. I just cannot believe they way frigidaire has handeled this. Help

I bought a laundry center 6 months ago and it has made a terrable noise as soon as I first started to use it. I thought it would get better as we used the center but it has only gotten worst. the noise is so bad you can not carry on a normal conversation while it is running. If I could take this machine back I would. Please, if there is anything your company can do to help.

my name is lynn gibeault i bought my refrigerator in feb of 2019. i called customer service within the first 2 weeks. the unit was making loud noises. the 1st tech came out and put insulation around it, the 2nd tech came out and said the word uummm about 10 times he had no idea said he would get back with me and never did the 3rd tech ordered a part the 4th tech put in the part the 5th tech hooked up the guadges to it and said it was running fine 4 days later the same tech came out which is tech #6 and said oh we are going to have to rebuild the unit and ordered parts i have now been without a fridge for 10 days i have talked many times to customer service and 4 supervisors and they all tell me how sorry and how they understand my fustration BS now i am waiting on the 7th tech to come all i wanted for them to do was replace it but they told me they cant until a tech says its not repairable i did not buy a brand new fridge to have it rebuilt or go 10 days without one why is this so hard fix and now i am living out of a cooler that i have to buy ice for everyday

Bought a Fridgedaire stacker washer /dryer. Spent $1, 200. I'm totally disappointed with both the washer and dryer. Let's start with the washer. There's no agitator. All dark clothes have a white soapy residue on them. Forget it if you use quick wash, there's no spin dry and the clothes are soaking wet. Now the dryer, again another major disappointment. It's supposed to have a "computer sensor " to tell you when the clothes are dry. Total waste. I literally have to run the drying cycle 4-5 times until clothes are dry. Forget about towels. Fridgedaire should close their operations. I'll never buy a Fridgedaire product and will tell anyone in sight not to purchase their products. Unit is 3 years old and has never worked since day one. I called and they tried to tell me over the phone how to check and fix. You kidding me 😡

My dishwasher, that was 14 months old, had a faulty valve and caused $30, 000 in water damage to my kitchen. Customer Service wouldn't replace the dishwasher. Rude, staff. Obviously do not care about their reputation or customer satisfaction. I offered to provide insurance documents, pictures, and the old dishwasher but to no avail. Cusotmer Service just stonewalled me.
i'm reporting a problem with my frigidaire gallery refrigerator rusting on back panel.
My 7 year old side by side Frigidaire gallery refrigerator is getting big rust spots on the back panel. The metal is so thin I'm afraid a hole is going to open up. The Frigidaire rep said there's nothing they can do for me so I called an appliance repair service and was told there is no fix for it. I know I'm not the only one that has had this same issue and Frigidaire should do the right thing and own up to it. I know I will never buy another Frigidaire product again. I bought this along with the matching stove and microwave and now I'll have to buy a fridge that won't match my set. Buyer beware!

Purchased a frigidaire side by side refrigerator from Lowe's in Lexington SC on 9-16-1017. The drawers and holders are breaking and the refrigerator itself is cracking along the bottom. A repairman was sent out and we were told all he can do is put a "bandaid" on it, by drilling holes and placing white tape over the cracks.

I purchased an Electrolux Fridge at the beginning of November 2018 largely as a result of a promise of a $100 cash back. I was informed after putting in my details on Electrolux's Promotion site that I would receive the $100 payment into my account in the next 6-8 weeks i.e. around mid December latest. On 24 December I was informed by email/sms that my claim had been processed and I would receive the money in my bank account within 72hours, i.e. by 27 Dec. When this passed I checked online via the claim tracker and was informed that the claim had been paid (but nothing was received). I then called and waited 20min on hold only to be informed that the payment would be made on or before the 7th Jan. When payment again didn't happen, I phoned again and waited for another 20min only to now be told that actually the payments would only be made after the promotion ends (this was 14th Jan according to their website). It is now the 15th Jan and still nothing - Quite frankly the most shocking promotion I have ever seen and guaranteed to achieve exactly the opposite of what it was meant to achieve - I will never buy an Electrolux product again...

After 7 months of owning my Frgidaire cooktop, it started beeping at random times when it was not in use. Especially at night it was annoying to be awaken in the middle of the night. To make it sop, you have to turn it on and then off. Since we were under warranty we called the company. Repairmen have been to my house 5 times in the past few months. Each time new parts were ordered and installed with no avail. After the last time, the cooktop started beeping every single minute. The repairman said we didn't know what else could be done to fix it. I called the company and asked to talk to a supervisor. I said to the supervisor that after five repairs, multiple parts replaced, and missed days from work we needed a replacement not a repairman. She said that i should turn the power off to the cooktop to stop the beeping. I said we need another supervisor to talked to.
Another supervisor called me today and said that a sixth repairman is coming on December 26 and that they try to fix it again. I said that we have people over for Xmas and we need to cook. She refused to replaced the cooktop. I asked after how many repair visits would the company consider we merit a replacement; she would not give me an answer.
So after months of failed repairs there is still no resolution. At the contrary, each time the cooktop is worse off that the previous time. We can't even use it know.
You know the true character of a company when things go wrong with their product. That's how you get repeat business. Do the right thing for your customers!

my 82 year old mother's brand new stove is still not repaired and not working
Mid November stove had flames shooting out of the control knob. Tech came out said stove may be irreparable. We have heard nothing since! Three weeks during the holiday season without a stove is unreasonable! Every call to check on what is happening is met with the same pat response, "the photos have not been reviewed yet". The claim number is [protected] - this should be a no brainer! We had to purchase a cook top so my mother could cook something. We should be reimbursed for that cook top! The original tech told us 3 days we would hear from Electrolux/Frigidaire and other than our calls in to them we have heard nothing.

bought a new Frigidaire refrigerator from a company that went out of business a few months later (hh Gregg). Within 6 months, we experienced multiple problems (doors would not stay shut, shelves breaking loose from brackets, icemaker malfunctioning). Called Frigidaire just prior to manufacturer warranty expiration; they scheduled a service call from a local repair shop. I stayed home from work to meet them, but they did not show up. It took over 2 weeks for them to find a different local repair shop. Missed work again to meet them; they couldn't fix it without replacement parts. 3rd service call (more missed work), discovered Frigidaire sent defective repair parts! 4th service call (more missed work), they finally gave up and said the appliance was a manufacturer defect and unrepairable. By this time, the manufacturer warranty had expired, so Frigidaire/Electrolux refused to cover the replacement cost! Same problem it took them weeks to conclude was not repairable. Their incompetence led to the delays past the warranty period. Finally offered to give me a replacement unit if I agreed to pay a $325 shipping and handling charge! Even I agreed to that, they would not guarantee that the new unit would be free of defects. Said I would have to rely on their standard limited warranty for repairs to the second unit. I refused and demanded a full refund, but they wouldn't budge. They even refused to pay the bill for the multiple service calls to try and repair the first piece of junk, until I threatened legal action. Their customer service was beyond terrible. They lied repeatedly and could not communicate within their own company. They did not care about me or my concerns. I will NEVER buy another product from that unethical company!
faulty products and poor customer service
We received this fridge when purchasing a house with new appliances. After having moved in we found the fridge was not working on "day 1". It was a new fridge never used but because the process of purchasing and moving in was so long it could not be returned to the store.
We called Frigidaire about how the fridge was not cooling and was new. It was under warranty and they said they'd have it repaired. I argued for a new fridge as no one would want to repair a new fridge right away. They would not replace it and forced us to have it repaired.
Fast forward and the fridge is not even 4 years old yet and starts having the SAME PROBLEM. It's now outside warranty and needs it's SECOND repair. Called Frigidaire and they said they WOULD NOT cover parts and labor to repair the unit.
They try and make ME the bad guy by stating it's outside of warranty so I shouldn't expect it to be repaired even under outstanding circumstances. I've worked with other companies in the past outside of warranty on issues and have been taken care of no problem.
Through it all they made ME feel like the bad guy. They state it's outside of warranty and make me feel as though I shouldn't expect it to be repaired even under outstanding circumstances. They also make multiple references to how I did not purchase an extended warranty. Anyone would expect to NOT need to have a fridge repaired twice in 4 years.
In this case the customer is wrong and bad. They do not stand by their products and do not take care of their customers.

I called almost 2 weeks about a really strong chemical smell that's blowing in my refrigerator and freezer! It's in my food and making my family feel very sick! We replaced all the food twice and again must throw it away! Your technicians sent said there was no way to fix the Freon leak that he said smells like nail polish remover and it's very strong! He said there's nothing his company or anyone can do to fix it because the smell is so strong and it's embedded into the plastic that it would have to be replaced! I called and called and your customer service said they needed a report which they obtained! Now I call and call and they said they need to physically speak to the technician that came! Every time a different story! We are severely sick from it stomach headaches etc nausea vomiting! Can not use the refrigerator or open it! My hub is blind do to a work injury so I have no one to throw this thing out of here! I was told they rescheduled the same company to come again to confirm the smell and call then the company did not show up and left a message that there was no need for them to come out again that they submitted the info needed and requested to Frigidaire! Now I called again to let you know and spoke to a higher authority named Bracey! He said he was contacting another company to come that said they will not fix from leak but can confirm the smell! He said he couldn't get in contact with the companies either of them to send that he would contact me by the end of the business day! That was Tuesday! No call no appts no replacement plus I again called Hsy Buelvas repair specialist that came for the report verbally from you at Galaco appliance service ! No call back from anyone! I purchased a refrigerator brand new July 12, 2018, August 9, 2018 I was back at ABC Warehouse attempting to exchange item when I was told I had to allow item to be serviced. Called Frigidaire customer service they have had 3 technicians come out the lasted being today. Technician left my home not knowing what is wrong with item not working. Called customer service I was told I have to wait two business days for the technician to decide what is wrong with my appliance. Mean while I do not have a working appliance which is necessary to sustain life. And neither the store I purchased the appliance from or the company that has made the appliance has offered to reimburse myself for the money I lost in groceries, or the money I have to spend daily on fast food. I was told to report it to my home owners insurance of which it will cost me at renewal of my insurance because I had a claim. I have been more than 90 days with out a working refrigerator.

I am beyond frustrated with my Frigidaire appliances! I bought a fridge, range, and dishwasher 3 years ago. Initially, I liked them and recommended them to my aunt and cousin who both purchased the same appliances. The dishwasher leaves a film, the finish soap dispenser only opens half of the time, and we get a error code most loads... the fridge has had broken shelves which I have needed to replace. The most FRUSTRATING part is my slide in range. The store I purchased them at told me to use a good stainless steel cleaner to clean them. I have recently learned that you can only use soap and water to clean your stainless steel?!?! My family members were told the same thing about cleaning. That is unheard of! Your reps need to be educated on cleaning practices if your appliances are so cheap they peel! My stainless panel where my dials are has peeled so bad it looks terrible. The first customer service rep I spoke to said the company would replace them. Weeks went by and nothing happened so I called again. The second two who were both managers (I can provide names) said that it is cosmetic and the company does not stand behind the product and the part is $331 to replace and I would need a tech to install which is another $200! I am so upset and it just continues to peel... I think the company should stand behind their product and replace my panel. I will tell everyone I know to never purchase Frididaire appliances again if I do not get help from the company. This is ridiculous and my kitchen looks horrible because of this product. I would love to speak to the CEO of Frididaire about their customer service reps who are less than helpful and your crappy appliances! Please contact me if you would be willing to help. October 23, 2015, the defroster timer stuck, 1 day out of warranty. Repairman replaced it. On the spot bought extended warranty.
No problems until several power surges (repairman thinks) caused to defroster to reset several times. The repairman did not express this to Frigidaire warranty people, what he had told me. Repair man did not bring any tools except a small computer, just plug unit back in and stated freezer was running. Was here about 10 to 15 minutes. Stated the unit was full of insects and smelled, could never be used again. We had already taken about 2, 000 dollars of food to landfill, of course he said unit was unplug. We had nothing to put in the foul smell unit. Never will buy a Frigidaire or Electrolux in our lifetime.
