I have been a loyal shopper at the Fry’s store at Tatum and Cave Creek since 2017. Prior to that I shopped at Fry’s at Tatum and Bell in Phoenix since 1996. I typically spend over $200 per week. That totals over 10,000 per year and over a quarter of a million dollars since 1996. On October 7th I ate one donut and did not disclose it until rudely confronted by sacker Joe, who is in his early 50s, skinny and very rude. He told checker to charge me $1.00 for a donut after someone snitched on me. Apparently there are no perks for being a loyal long time customer. To be embarrassed over a $1.00 donut is not only insulting but shows me what you think of my business. I will be telling friends and family about this episode and encouraging them to boycott Fry’s. I will be shopping and the neighborhood Safeway from now on as apparently a $1.00 donut is more important to this Fry’s than over $200 per week that I spend. Joe has no sense of customer service and is a detriment to your brand.
Desired outcome: Written apology from Joe or his termination.
