I purchased a used truck from Gainesville Buick GMC for a whopping $80000.00. Unfortunately, I soon discovered that the rear window was leaking. To be on the safe side, I decided to buy an extended warranty. However, after just 2 months, I noticed that the window was still leaking. To my dismay, the dealership refused to fix the issue without charging me a hefty sum of over $1000.00 for the repair.

I asked them to check my credit, thinking they would sell me the car for the agreed price plus tax, tag, and title. But after they checked my credit, they told me the price would be $3500 more than we agreed on.

Their only solution was to send it to the mechanic shop for repairs, but guess who had to foot the bill? That's right, me. They damaged my car and then expected me to pay for the repairs.

They explained it to me in a way that made it seem like I was getting a better deal. However, since I bought the vehicle, I've felt unsafe driving it. It stayed at the dealership for over a month right after I bought it. I had to threaten legal action and involve the highway safety patrol before they finally decided to fix the initial issues. These issues included bad coil packs, spark plugs, and an alignment problem that caused the truck to pull me off the road when I let go of the steering wheel. It's almost caused me to have an accident, and I've told them countless times that this is unacceptable. The battery and starter have already gone out, and more coil packs have failed. I believe they sold me a truck that is not safe to drive and overcharged me. Nothing has fixed the truck so far.

I told the service advisor that my engine light was on, my driver side door needed fixing, there was a loud noise when starting the car, and the AC made a noise too. Lastly, my heater wasn't working. The advisor got back to me a few days later with their findings and the cost to fix everything, which was a little over $4800. I agreed, and they proceeded to fix my car. On Tuesday, Dec 20th, the advisor called to say my car was ready. I picked it up on Wed, Dec 21st, and it was still running when they brought it out. The technician told me to let the heat cycle a few times for it to work properly. However, the heat never came on that day or the next day. Also, the noise I complained about when starting the car was still there when I started it later (I have a video to prove it). I immediately texted the advisor and sent the video, letting her know the noise was still there and the heat wasn't working. I also told her I would bring the car back in the morning after work. I dropped off my car at Gainesville Buick GMC for the second time on Thursday, Dec 22, 2022. On Thursday, Dec 29th, 2022, the service advisor called to say it would cost an additional $3000 to fix the heater. I replied, saying that the car was diagnosed and a price was given, and I don't think I should have to pay more. I was told the heater was fixed and needed to cycle. The service advisor said she understood and would talk to the service manager to resolve the situation. Days went by with no communication until Friday, Jan 6, 2023, when I was told my car was ready, the noise was gone, and I had heat. Sure enough, the noise was gone, and I had heat, but only on the driver side. There was no heat on the right (passenger side) at all, just cold air. I texted the service advisor and tried to contact the general manager of GMC, but there hasn't been a resolution yet.
