I'm Jessica Tucker, I currently have a claim under investigation with Geico. Claim#[protected]. Jennifer the investigator scheduled an inspection for Thursday, August 24th, 2023, 8:00am - 8:30am. We completed the recorded events of the incident from Friday, August 18th, 2023, around 5:45pm-6pm. I explained the events and Jennifer insisted that my story had discrepancies and insisted that it was fraud, and it was her job to report fraud. I asked her what she meant she claimed that I said 8am and I stated 8pm. Also, I was on my way home and my children coming on the scene was a discrepancy as well. I'm a single mother and I pick my kids up on the way home everyday Monday- Friday. She laid flat on the ground to inspect the undercarriage because I told her that the suspension was straining and making noise. She asked me for my current insurance policy and the last bill. I emailed both documents immediately. My witnesses are my in-laws and who helped me during the incident. She spoke to my father-In Law Calvin Bass and tried to throw random dates at him and asked what proof he had.
Fast forward to Monday, August 28th, 2023. I drove my vehicle to work, and my car was stuck up in the air on the right-side of my vehicle. I called to report that now my truck was stuck and how should I proceed. Now I'm speaking with the Claims Adjuster and she basically telling me that I shouldn't put a claim in because it will alarm more red flags. It was not safe to drive my vehicle like that plus the highways were wet. Chasity Wright told me that Jennifer had a lot of other claims and had until the end of day for a decision on her investigation. I got off work at 5:30pm and had to get my car towed. Claim#[protected] - I called enterprise from my Geico app the representative enters my claim number as well as secured my reservation. Advised that I needed my Drivers's License & a cc with $50 deductible.
I arrived at Enterprise 6109 W. Broad Street Richmond, Va 23230 and spoke with branch manager Justin Bell at approx. 2pm 8/29/2023. He contacted Geico claims and basically had told him that the claim was still under investigation, and they think I didn't have coverage. I need to take care of my rental car myself.
At this point I would like to cancel my coverage with Geico and completely reimbursed my money for my policy and reinstatement fee. Also, I feel like I shouldn't pay for the tow either because added to my policy prior to it breaking at work I guess that is fraud as well. I previously had Geico for several years and never treated like I was committing fraud and accused of breaking the law. The investigator and claims adjuster were very discriminatory and assumed the worst-case scenario. I felt that they wanted me to drive my car and get into a full accident. Just to have proof and times of the incident. I look forward to a response and resolution soon.
