COFFEE ORDER
I WENT ONLINE TO THIS COMPANY. SUPPOSED TO BE THAT YOU COULD ORDER A ONE TIME SAMPLE OF THEIR COFFEE. AFTER THEY GET YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO. IT IS THEN STATED THAT EVERY 6 WEEKS 6.95 TO 8.95 PLUS 5.85 SHIPPING WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. I CALLED RIGHT AWAY TO GET THIS CANCELLED AND WAS TOLD TO WAIT 24 TO 48 HRS AND TO CALL BACK, I HAVE DONE THIS AND AM TOLD THAT THEY HAVE NO RECORD OF THE ACCOUNT YET MONEY WAS DEDUCETD FROM MY ACCOUNT. I CALLED TODAY AND WAS TOLD THAT THEIR IS STILL NO ACCOUNT SHOWING AND NOW IT HAS BEEN 72 HRS. IT WAS ONLY 3.00 TO START WITH BUT IF THIS DOESN'T GET RESOLVED BY THE END OF THIS MONTH THE FIRST OF JAN IT COULD WIND UP COSTING ME 45.00. I DON'T THINK THIS IS FAIR BUSINESS PRACITICES IF THEY CAN WITHDRAW MONEY FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT THEY MUST HAVE SOME ACCOUNT TO PLACE THE PAYMENT. BEWARE OF GEVALIA AND ALL OF THEIR COFFEE OFFERS.

Arrogance and incompetence
I recently gave four orders to Gevalia, amounting to several hundred dollars. When the first box, with a two-person coffee maker, arrived, it did not include the 10-percent discount and free shipping. I was overcharged by $18.95. I called Gevalia, which is outsourced to Manila in the Philippines, and was told "too bad." Beware! When you order online, you are not informed of total costs. You have three areas of TBDs when you are told to hit enter for the final sale. The arrogant crew in Manila really stinks. When I called after five days, I was told that my other orders would not be shipped for a month. The coffee just is not that good, either. I canceled all my orders, all because the company refused to refund $18.95.

Stay away from them
I've been buying Gevalia for well over 3 yrs.
All of a sudden, I'm receiving a notice from North Shore Agency( a collection agency) stating I owe $39.70 to Gevalia. I called Gevalia and I was told they have no credit card on file. The credit card that was being charged has not expired yet. So, what kind of business are they running that they send their customers to a collection agency without notifying the customer first?! A persons credit could be damaged by this kind of practice. In the future, I will no longer buy Gevalia.

Poor Quality Coffee Maker
Well, it's good to know I'm not alone on complaints against Gevalia. I signed up for the "free" Coffee Maker and coffee. The coffee is pretty good, but the Coffee Maker which was free is very poor quality. I actually worked in the Appliance Dept. in a major retail store and have never had someone return a coffeemaker due to a large amount of condensation running down the back of the coffeemaker. We would have to sit a dish towel behind the coffeemaker to catch the large amount of water.
The frightening part is, Gevalia actually sells that coffeemaker in their catalog for over $80. Do not buy any of their products, except for maybe the coffee.
When I e-mailed Gevalia with the complaint, I was told...I'll never forget this, that with every pot of coffee made it is normal for some amount of condensation. Not satisfied, I then contacted their Production dept. Although they would not look into the problem, they would send me a new coffeemaker. I declined and let them know if it was the same poor quality, then the problem would not be solved. I then closed the account after the rude associate told me, " Because the Coffeemaker is free, we cannot help you and if you are not satisfied with the product you can donate it to a charity. I was amazed. Bottom line, admitting to a design flaw would mean a profit loss to Gevalia. I hate to waste anything, so we actually use it in our travel trailer and cuss it every time we use it. LOL.
BEWARE: The coffeemaker sure looks nice and modern to go with any stainless steel kitchen, but it sucks big time.

its been over 3days for u to return my money back into my acct. It was cancelled, as I told on of ur agents. She said dont worry it w/b returned in 3 days. When it was taken out, my acct was bounced. U caused me alot of trouble. I`m going to cancel completely. If it is not put back in by today I`contacting bbb & telling people about this.
If it was free, what are you ### about? You people are something else! The coffee you bought was good and cheap. So you got a free coffee maker to boot, and all you can do is complain? GET OVER IT! By the way, I got one too and I love it. Several of my friends also tried the Gevalia freebee, and they think its pretty good especially for free.
Shabby customer treatment
I have been a Gevalia Coffee customer for several years. I was a member of four different coffee clubs receiving several coffees each month. Each order had a different customer number. It appeared to me that they had not properly credited one or more of the accounts. I received a past due notice but my online checking account did not agree with their accounting. Upon contacting their call center I was treated with contempt and was an obvious interruption to their day. I worked my way up the supervisory ladder only to be treated even more poorly. I requested an audit of my accounts so that I might understand why they were billing me. Today I received a refund check (looking very much like an advertisement) and so I called to see why I got a refund. Again I was treated as if I was an unpleasant interruption to their work day and was told that Gevalia had no way to audit my account nor to explain why I might owe them. They could not even explain why I got a refund. Instead, they just zeroed my balance and sent me a refund. I was speechless that a company as large as Gevalia could not offer an explanation as to why they thought I owed them money. Now I am uncertain as to whether I can trust this company's ability to keep customer records with any degree of accuracy. Be very careful when paying bills received from this company. They don't know if you have paid or not. They have stated that they have no way of providing a history of any customer account. I would have been happier if anyone along my way would have expressed regret for the problem rather treating me like I was irrelevant. I am sure there are some who would accept the refund and go foreward. This does not excuse their poor customer service, poor bookkeeping or shabby customer treatment. All I want is a feeling of trust in their bookkeeping. Good coffee is everywhere.

Unauthorized charges
I found a coupon and wanted to try the free trial, when the free coffee maker and 2 small pints of coffee came, the machine worked 6 times and we wasted have the coffee because the water and coffee won't go thru, and you can't reuse it. the coffee tasted awful as well. I emailed to cancel the free trial and they said they did. then a few days later I found a charge on the credit card for $32.35, when I e-mailed to see why they would charge me, my email was unanswered and no response. So it looks like they charged me for the coffee maker and the 2 pints of less than satisfactory coffee.
No free trial people, just a scam and poor customer service.
There was nothing on the coupon that says you will charged for anything, at least that I could find. They did not ask me to return the malfunctioned coffee maker or that they would replace it or nothing, they just canceled my trial and charged me.

Veronica called me prompted by DA from Delaware. She asked me to file the case to a local police department in your own town. With the police report, they can start the investigation by tracking down the IP address.
Hundreds similar complaints are going around on Internet. If all of the victims file complaint to DA and police, Gevalia finally gives in, I hope.
westernunion money order cashed but no shipment received
i enrolled into their coffe pot offer and been waiting months,
i called westernunion and found the money order cashed 3/09/09.
now i get the run around from gevalia, they want me to trace the money order which is more money lost(14.95 for oder)and(15.00 for trace of check).
i am not letting this go, their reps had me fax the check receipts to them and then another rep asked me to fax again, i said i did and she replied i see it in your account info... so gevalia nori the rep is lying on purpose and refuses to honor this order rudely. i have a letterfrom them that proves they got my order and the check cash receipt.im now seesking legal action because they have gotten the order with the money order in one mailing and responded to it further the letter they sent clearly is asking for a credit card which i will use against them. i order in february it is april now.

unwanted shipment
Received my free coffeemaker and for over a year recieved and paid for automatically delivered coffee. This month I received (unwanted) 4 8oz. packages of coffee and was billed over $41.00 for the 2 lbs. of coffee.
I joined Gevalia 2 times the past 10 years. I get the free coffee maker and buy a few shipments of the Cinnamon Coffee. I joined again about 4 months ago. I got the coffee maker and the first shipment of coffee. I then had a subsequent shipment of 2 pounds of Cinnamom coffee. I then received a phonecall from an anoying balck woman from Gevalia trying to get me to buy some special Seasonal coffees. I tried to be polite, but when I determined she was bound and determined not to take NO for an answer, I said "I am not interested!" and hung up.
Two weeks later the Seasonal Coffees were sent to me with a bill for $41. I called and quit Gevalia. I'm not paying for the Seasonal coffees and sent them back. I Won't Buy From Gevalia AGAIN!
I read so many negative contents on here it blows my mind. I have been a Gevalia customer 7 years straight now and was ordering even before that time. I have never had any problem. A person turns in your name etc. at the beginning so they send you a very nice looking coffee pot and coffee. I think their coffee tastes better than starbucks. They seem to bend over backwards to please you. I to had a shpmt on a once a year promotion of coffees, I called them and they said no dont return it just keep it as they took it off my bill. I dont understand all these comments. I think something else was going on that made you upset with them so you post negative things on their website as it makes you feel better. For now I am very happy with Gevalia. I am sorry for so many negative people.
Just had a similar situation with Tassimo. Found a large box on my doorstep with a coffee pot and coffee. Never ordered a thing. Called the company to cancel. They had my credit card information, address, everything. Very scary! I called my credit card company and Tassimo had two "pending charges" to my account $119 and $168. How is this legal? What actions can I take against this company?
I received this as well. I called and asked them if I could please return it. First, they offered me a discount towards a future coffee, under the pretense that I would still keep and pay for the $41.00 unwanted coffee. When I said no, they offered me 50% off on the coffee, so I'd only have to pay around $20. I said no again, I need the money for my school tuition. Finally, the guy said that he would cancel future shipments and that I could keep the coffee for free, because my card had been unable to be charged when they sent the coffee. Really? You're gonna let me keep the stuff directly after trying to get me to buy it? I'm selling it on Ebay. May as well make some money off it, it doesn't look like it will taste good anyway. They also told me that I hadn't responded to a supposed postcard they'd sent out, therefore it was automatically shipped. I never received a postcard. Thieving [censor].
i have been trying to cancel my account with gevalia for weeks online but from what i am reading in reviews that wont work either. I tried to cnacel on line but after filling out there form to cance there is not a button to "send" the message. There is a button to "chat now". I clicked that and no online chat nor a phone call from gevalia. VERY poor customer service!
I will never use them again (assuming i ever get my account cancelled) and i am already telling my family and friends that gevalia is a HUGE ripoff.
My wife ordered some online tassimo packages after we bought our tassimo in February 2010. I love the Maxwell House Lattes, they are the closest thing to caramel machiata I'll get I guess. My wife made a 1 time order of like 3 packages and paid close to retail price for all plus shipping from Tassimo direct. Well here we are in the month of December on a super-tight budget and they send us 2 unrequested packages of French roast. I didn't know any better and figured we were blessed. Yeah right, I should know better that ain't nothing free and be leery of items that look like promotions. So I dove into the French roast and when my wife, the only one employed right now, found out that there was a bill included she called to find out that she did not pay attention to the fact that it was her up to her to be removed ...from what? She made that online order back in February, so they are into the business of reading minds and sending you a Psychic obtained order placement. I guess we are both absent-minded that "Good Businesses" have good policies in place not to misguide and leave accounts open for their interpretation on when and how to service. The sad thing is my wife and I spend $50 a month on Tassimo at Walmart or Target and tassimo smashed some of their coffee loving customers. So what do I do from here other than vent on a blog, I research and start looking into buying an inexpensive expresso machine and start telling everyone else how my wife and I have achieved a great cup of expresso without Tassimo as where before we ranted and raved about tassimo. BAD BUSINESS PRAC TICES. We have saved all invoices and will be submitting to BBB as well.
These guys are crooks. This is what you need to know. When you sign up for gevalia, they make 2 accounts for you. 1 account that you have full control over online, and 1 that you cannot see. The account you cannot see is your "special yearly coffee shipment" that supposedly is written in their terms of service that you agree to. Now shame on me for not reading the fine print, but clearly they're hiding this extra coffee shipment in a separate account so you're not aware. If you call, they will apologize and supposedly credit your account and you can keep the coffee. YOU MUST ask them to cancel the account with the account number that came with the "special yearly shipment". If you're smart, you'll cancel both accounts and not deal with businesses like this.
Does anyone know how this happens? How do they get our Credit/Debit numbers without our consent? My bank actually called me and asked if I had made the purchase with my Debit card, of course I had no idea what they were talikng about. 31.75 was taken from my checking account and I never Knew anything about it! I called the Co. and they said and to quote " We are sorry sir, we will debit your acct., and Keep the coffee maker as an apology! Can you belive that?
Similar story. My husband got the unwanted shipment of coffee maker/coffee/mug, etc. Our card had been charged for it. We never had heard of the company, had not ordered the coffee, and knew nothing of them until this package arrived. We called. They gave us date/time of order, had our credit card. Said they would refund and we could keep the items for the inconvenience (huh? why would they do that. Either the value of this crap is so low they can afford to do that, or they are making so much profit off the people who never check and notice they are being billed that they can afford the occasional give away. I'm so leary they are going to continue this practice some future date down the road. Probably will have to cancel the card, but since there is no sign of how they got it to begin with, it's worrysome that it could happen again with another card.
We just got off phone with CSR and their manager for 3 debits to my account on this product I had never heard of! They had my name, address, credit card info and ordering date but wrong email address and phone number? I demanded a credit processed and I immediately called to cancel my credit card with my bank. In reading here, I am very glad I cancelled my card but am very concerned about this company and their business practices. The big question is HOW they got my credit card number?! Would certainly never do business with this company even if I wanted to!
Fruadulently obtained membership
When I ordered some products from Vista Print, being extrememly careful not to click any memberships and to unclick any pre-clicked items, they still signed me up for this membership - plus 10 others. Fortunately my credit card company is on the ball - Thanks Chase! they immediately recognized the membership charges as fraudulent and suspended the card until they had confirmed with me whether I had signed up for them. The card was cancelled - I am still receiving letters from companies I have never done business with saying they cannot process my membership.
Beware of doing business with Vista Print they are related I believe to this Gevalia company and to the AP9 and other bogus membership clubs and they apparantly give out your credit card info to anyone who asks. There is no possible way to contact every club they sign you up for - just report the fraud, cancel the card and have them send you a card with a new number.
Notorious for illegal selling practice with unauthorized charge to consumers' credit card. The credit card information is obtained illegally.

There are many similar private complaining sites which do not help you at all.
A similar thing happened to me with Gevalia. Although I never ordered from Vistaprints. I got a call from my credit card company that they suspected a few charges to be fraudulent. They told me I had a $19.95 charge from Gevalia. I had never even heard of this company before. So I told them to cancel the card and send a new one. I then called Gevalia, and the girl I spoke to was very polite and canceled my account. She did not seem concerned at all that I never gave them my credit card # or ordered anything from them. Almost as though they expect people to call in and say exactly what happened to me. She said I could keep the coffee maker that they had already shipped me and restart my Gevalia account any time I like. That will never happen. This incident was about 2 years ago, and I have not heard anything from Gevalia since.
I believe you're right! This same exact thing happened to me with Gevalia and I haven't been able to make sense of it... but then I read this and it all clicked!
Just before this crap happened with Gevalia, I had ordered my baby's birth announcements through VistaPrint! Those ###...
I called Gevalia today and ripped into them and they canceled the fraudulent account after I made all that fuss.
Beware of them
I sent in my 'shipping fee' for the firms 'free coffee' and 'free coffee maker' and received the product in the time advertised. I used the coffee maker about 12 times in three weeks and now the maker does not work. The 'time' window revolves rapidly changing the hours continually, but does not power up the unit. It is a worthless piece of Chinese junk.

Same thing happened to me. My credit card company contacted me yesterday to question charges by Gevalia and Tassimo. Both were fraudulant and they cancelled my card immediately. Today I received a package from both companies. Gevalia said keep the package for my inconvenience and Tassimo is sending me a return label. I have never had previous contact with either one of these companies. Reading these comments has made me realize that I need to file an official complaint.
i didn't order anything from them at all, didn't even visit website. received gevalia and tassimo machines close to my birthday.
when no one claimed giving, i looked online and found my debit card number and expiration date.(registered under my name, address they obviously had, per invoice)
i made purchases online from amazon, kmart, jc pennys, domestic bin about a month before than. somethings fishy and cards canceled.
now i think i have to stay away from all of them, but amazon i'll miss...
First of all, there is no thing as a free lunch, let alone a good free coffee maker.
If you want a good one go out and buy it (I just shelled out $300.00 for one).
Gevalia has been around longer than any of us, and has developed a pristine reputation. It is to be judged by the coffee product alone! (The coffee machines offered for free are: a), to dupe those aptly described by the late W.C. Fields; and b), a marketing ploy that, obiously, has served only to put a very BIG and quite unnecessary dent in Gevalia's reputation.)
For the record: I have been a happy customer of Gevalia for nearly thirty years. (Well, I'll admit its Website is rather more than erratic, to say the least; also some of the changes it has made in its "Limited Edition" line have not been to my utter satisfaction.)
Coffee is a "precarious" quanity, qualitatively speaking. The best cup of coffee I've ever had was in a sheep wagon in the Idaho higher ranges, brewed from boiled water dipped directly from a creek; MJB; and made in a simple pot whose bottom, to say the least, was rather clouded, and whose sides were more than murky.
It is worth noting, I think, that some of Starbuck's brews use Gevalia coffee.
The bottom line is that the quality of any coffee offered for sale, as with wine, tobacco, and other products, is the ultimate product of the singular taste of the connoseur/roaster/selector of a lone individual. (Ask the master taster at Laphroaig.)
All things consered, those who have complaints against Gevalia need to back to Postum.
have never had a problem with gevalia. love the coffee, love the coffeemaker.
I ordered a coffeemaker by mail and check about March 21, 2009, and it is now April 23 and I have not received my shipment. In the past I have received specials with coffee pots and other items, and their different brands of coffee and tea. I especially love their Irish Creme coffee and Vanilla flavored and other flavored coffees. I have never had a problem with their coffeemakers, in fact all kept running until they just got so old I decided to get a new one. My experience with their customer service has always been good. You can schedule your shipments of coffee just every 4 months or only three times a year if you don't want it every month, in fact, the form I filled out recently to get a coffeemake, caraf and hot coffee
tall insulated plastic vessels had a question that asked how often you would like deliery, and their minimum order is just two types of coffee or tea.
I much prefer their coffee to regular store brands which I don't like the taste of, and the speciality and flavored brands in a commercial store are about the same price as Gevalia's, and Gavelia ships it to your door included in your purchase. I havn't yet received my new coffeemaker and I suppose it will be made in China, but now so is so much of what you buy today, which I consider a factor for the recession in this country and worldwide. which I was predicting for two years before it happened expressly using the term that it would be the worst since the great depression. America is still the country which is the largest producer of products in the world, however, and unfortunately, it may have taken this recession to get our lawmakers to start thinking with their heads instead of just sitting on their ###.
In conclusion, I would have to say I have yet to have had a problem with Gevalia Coffee, in fact, I've been spoiled by it to drink regular store bought coffee. I went to law school at Tulane in New Orleans, and spent several years there, and I always liked the coffee the retaurants served there, and of course, in New Orleans, coffee and hot skim milk served with beignets, New Orleans substitute for the lowly donut, are a tradition there, especially at places like the world famous Morning Call in the French Quarter near the Misissippi. If you do not want Gevalia's coffee after receiving your special with a coffeemaker or some special, all you have to do is call their customer service and cancel, there being no obligation to keep getting coffee. So I would have to say that most of the consumer complaints I have read of on the internet are nothing but a tempest in a teapot with the customer often to blame.

Pheonix, April 2009
You're right about disposable income. I ordered the coffee maker and realized that i really can't afford to keep the coffee shipments coming. But I really have no complaints about Gevalia.
I bought a Chinese-manufactured Aroma rice maker. Made rice very well. Quit working after three batches. Got a replacement, no charge. It quit working after six batches of rice. While it worked, it worked well. The store said I could have one more. I asked to apply the money to a non-Aroma maker; an Oster. Store said o.k. No more problems, 6 years and 50-60 batches of rice later. Some brands of chinese-made small electrical appliances have cheap components that are not good enough to be durable, and quality control is suspect also. Gevalia is foolish to continue this freebie coffee maker program. Bad word-of mouth will hurt their sales, even though only people with considerable disposable income are going to buy $18-24 dollar a pound coffee. I drink Maxwell House medium roast. If you hold your nose and drink Maxwell House and Starbuck's best alternately there is slight difference. With your nose open, Starbuck's has a wonderful fragrance that Maxwell House can't touch. But I refuse to pay big bucks for fancy coffee aroma. I'm Greenshoes the plain coffee fan, and thats how I feel.
Charged my account illegally
I obtained a membership with Gevalia last year. I had heard good things and liked their product. Last month they decided to ship me 4 lbs of coffee without authorizing it and charged me $39.95. This charge caused my account to be overdrawn, my rent check and another check was returned NSF and I accumulated over $200.00 in fees. I contacted Gevalia and they returned the $39.95 and $25.00 for fees. The are refusing to correct this matter. I would encourage everyone I know to find another source of coffee. This is a very poor way to do business.
Good Afternoon,
I am switching to decaf coffee. I use a french press coffee maker. I bought a bag of Gevalia house blend. This is a terrible item. I wish the store had beans instead of ground coffee. The coffee is too fine. It becomes mud in a french press
I need to cancel can't drink coffee anymore
I need to cancel my account
I have filed a complaint with the FTC also. https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
I received a shipment of Special Royal Vinter Coffee after having suspended my shipments 1 month ago. My bank account was automatically debited without my authorization; I neither requested this shipment nor received warning of it. The invoice lists my name and address, but a DIFFERENT account number. How is this not fraudulent?
PLEASE FILE YOUR COMPLAINTS! Gevalia's business practices are absolutely UNACCEPTABLE.
People, it's time to take organized action. Here's the link to file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission FTC. https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ . I encourage everyone to Facebook, tweet, Youtube, post and blog about the hazards of dealing with this company. Let's Web 2.0 their [censor] into the sights of the US Government. This company is out of control and needs to be stopped.
By the way. I've tried to cancel over 15 times now and they won't stop sending and charging me. They've told me they're sorry, they will cancel my subscription and I won't have to return or pay for the latest shipment, then they still charge me.
Perhaps some enterprising attorney would take this on as a class action suit.
I canceled my Gevalia membership through their website shortly after receiving my 3 boxes of coffee. My account stated I was no longer subscribed for automatic shipments.
However, they did not cancel my membership. I have received another order of coffee and was charged $33 on my credit card. After placing a complaint, they informed me “We apologize, as you are currently unable to cancel your account online”.
They are unwilling to issue me a full refund for the $33 coffee they mistakenly sent me even though I was willing to return all of it unopened.
This is false advertising on their part. Be warned.
I suspended my coffee deliveries in June, but Gevalia shipped product and charged my account anyway causing an overdraft. I have been back and forth with Gevalia Customer Service - they supposedly have issued a credit, but that will do me no good since another debit is going to be posted before their credit posts and will cost me in overdraft charges - and Gevalia did not offer to cover my overdraft fees. I am disabled and on a very limited fixed income, and Gevalia was the one little luxury I allowed myself from time to time. This is the second time Gevalia has done this to me and the last. I have repeatedly told them to cancel, close, delete my account and send me verification via e-mail, but customer service sent me back an e-mail stating that they would keep my account file open so I can order one-time only shipments in the future. What do these people not understand about the words "CANCEL, CLOSE, DELETE MY ACCOUNT? This is ridiculous! Also, it was quite obvious by the cavalier and dismissive tones of their e-mails to me that Gevalia just really does not care anything about the problems it has caused me and other customers with their bad-faith business practices. I have filed complaints with the FTC and BBB, and suggest that everyone else do the same. Further, since Gevalia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kraft Foods, I am sending my complaint to Kraft Foods, as well.
I ordered the 3 dollar special and had it shipped to an address, but never received it there, and although it must have been returned to them, they went ahead and sent another shipment to the same address, and billed it, causing an overdraft, and 67 dollars in fees before I could get to the bank and correct it. Note: I never received the first shipment, and yet they sent another shipment to the same address automatically? I just wonder why they would continue to send shipments which aren't being received to an address that no one accepted the orders at. When I informed them of this, they corrected it and said they resent the 3 dollar order to a new address
*(hasn't arrived yet, 2weeks), refunded 35.85 for the second order, and rescheduled the next automatic shipment .. Note**: If customer hasn't received shipment, its impossible to check the account number, therefore its difficult to contact customer service with any updated information, etc... Questions, when no one was there to receive shipment, why didn't Gevalia either cancel outright, or contact my email to inform me shipment was returned, and why did they automatically assume it was a proper business practice to set their own automatic shipment dates for next order? This caused me 67 dollars in overdraft charges, and I still didn't see a refund for the 3 dollars, nor have I seen the coffee. Apparently they're trying a new tactic of sending the special deals slowly and giving customer very little time to schedule their next shipment, or slam mailing automatic shipments... Ive bought hundreds and hundreds of dollars of items from them and never had a problem until now, and they got me good this time. I wish I could get 25 dollars back like that other person did, at least that would eliminate some of the sting from this thing. Also: don't ever change addresses or sell a property while you're waiting, because apparently the companies have the upper hand, and bosses are telling workers to take advantage of automatic billing at every turn. Why is the world getting so cutthroat regarding debit cards? Its obviously a good idea to go back to paper check payments like one person commented, because I'm tired of being stung on my debit card. A 3 dollar special turned into a nightmare fast on me.. I take the responsibility and I pay everyone back when mistakes happen, but for the life of me I cant figure out how this progressed without my knowledge or consent... Gevalia, next time let me receive the first offer first, or cancel it outright, nothing is that automatic, and things do change sometimes.. when I tried to contact customer service it required an account number, which I had never received. I regret not calling sooner, but I was ignorant to the policies of what I had felt was a good company. I thought it would be worked out by redirecting the package via a small amount of communications upon the package being not received by order maker, but I'm sure I'm just stupid now.
I'm sorry that I'm not the only complainter. Someone in the finance and payment office must sip too much caffeinne while processing bills. They insisit I owe them for FREE shipping. Their collection agency have been harassing me and I don't like it. I've called and listed my last payment, returned unopened product and cancelled all scheduled shipments. This was done 2009. I will get information as to my rights. I will not pay again. The coffee is good; however there are other companies.
This company is a sham! I thought I had ordered a simple $3 sample order of coffee, no shipping and handling fee. They delivered my sample, charged my card $3 and then sent me an email telling me they would send me coffee every month automatically and charge my account automatically. I called to cancel my account, and they said they did so. Then, about a month later, I recieved another email telling me my shipment was scheduled. I thought I cancelled the account, so I called again to cancel. This time they assured me it was now cancelled. If I get another email or charge, I just don't know what to do! BUYER BEWARE! They do very poor business...

Hi,
Have you finally successfully canceled your acoount?
I joined the same "trial" project and paid $3, and I canceled my account when I found out there will be "auto charges" in the future. I canceled via online customer service. Maybe you can try it. However, I haven't recived the letter of cancellation yet and I had tried 2 times to rush them. I think it would be safer to have one.
