I bought 2 large and 2 small beer trees and have complained to customer services that I believe the seller, oberobiz to be in breach of trading standards. I have sent photos to both the business and to bethan at customer support and Jonathan director of gogroupie to prove that the beer calendars will not hold beer of any kind! therefore the seller is not being honest and the items being sold are not fit for purpose.
the small calendar will only hold a miniature spirit bottle providing it is round and the large one will not even allow a small tonic water to fit thrugh the holed
I sent the measurements and photographs of each to both the seller and bethan w.
I have been asked to return these at my cost that I am not prepared to do as these were sold under false pretences.
this was done initially during the 14 days cooling off period, but the communication has gone beyond this.
I have also contacted citizens advice and they have told me that they will be informing trading standards.
I have retained all communication with both the seller and gogroupie customer services and all the photographs taken
Why are these items still beeing sold on the gogroupie site?
Claimed loss: 2 x 12.99 2 x 7,994 x 3.99 postagetotal £57.92
Desired outcome: I would be happy for the seller to send a postage paid label for postage with royal mail so that I can order a collection and I am looking for a full refund of all the money I spent as a result of the items being not fit for purpose
