Our local Goodwill Store in Rolla MO has been increasing prices to ridiculous amounts for used, second hand, donated goods. For example, bath towels priced over $8 each, these could be purchased NEW for less, kitchen drying mats, priced at $6.18 each and they aren't even a large size. We are seeing clothing marked $12, $15, $20 per item and shoes as much as $30. Wall art up to $40! I would like a straight answer on how Goodwill stores go about setting prices for their merchandise! I know when I donate...I am only allowed to claim so much for each item as a donation, and some of those items are being priced far higher than the donation amount I was able to claim. That seems WRONG! Your website says that you look at "market research" when setting prices! We live in small ruralville Missouri, not the big city. We have asked the employees here on several occasions how pricing is set and they say they don't know, but they can't negotiate them once the sticker goes on. I think someone needs to evaluate our store in Rolla MO. An unhappy customer!
Desired outcome: A straight answer - reduced prices and investigation into the Rolla Store!
