I booked for Nov 6&7, 2023 for a getaway with my son. I was checked in at approximately 2 pm. I purchased a late check out with a meal plan for my son and I. We went to dinner where both my son and I started welding sick. I spent most of the night in the bathroom. I also experienced some rash/ bites on my waistline. I attempted to contact the from desk for over an hour before I went to the front desk myself. I asked to speak to a manager and the front desk informed me that no manager is in until after 8 am. I checked out at 8 am and waited in the lobby for 45 minutes to speak to management. Dues to feeling sick I packed my bags to go home. Prior to leaving I spoke to the Food manager who informed me that he would refund my meals. Finally on Nov 8, 2023 the housekeeping manager called me and informed me that they had a third party company who verified the rash was not bedbugs and that no other person complained about the food and that nothing would be done with regards to a refund. I informed the housekeeping manager that I would like to further escalate my complaint to the general manager named Shannon and he I formed me that she would have the same information for me. I still have not heard from Shannon nor have I received the food refund promised by the food manager. The customer service at this establishment ruined my vacation.
