seafood - product unavailable
Two out of the last three times I have tried to buy fresh mussels and clams at the store on Williams Dr., Georgetown, TX, there was no availability of one or both. None ever at the store on Hwy 29 in Georgetown (nearest me), and never a problem at the store on 1431 in Round Rock, which is least convenient for me. When I don't find the product at Williams Drive, it becomes exceedingly inconvenient to drive to Round Rock. I believe a little more competition might help solve a lot of problems.
harker heights on indian trail
This is not really a complaint but more of a strong request. Our area has been overlooked for a new H-E-B or Plus. Killeen west got a new one, Copperas Cove got one but we didn't. Maybe you didn't get the latest numbers on the increased population of Harker Heights. Our H-E-B has a small parking lot and is old and outdated. Please bring a plus to Harker Heights / Nolanville area. Walmart has the super store and a Neighborhood Market here. Thank you.
I did.
As much as I like HEB there is one thing getting on my nerves. Like items I paid for but not in my bags. Example...Yesterday I bought a bottle of nail polish. I came home …...no polish. Went back to the same cashier...….and it was still sitting there. She charged me forgot to put it in my bag. But she was chatting with all over the place . This morning I needed a few things and the News Paper...….Guess what …...came home NO News paper. Maybe the cashiers need a little more training !
customer service
I went shopping at my usual HEB on Hewitt Dr, in Waco Texas, I had 9 items so I went to the "15 items or less" cashier, since when the cashiers stop helping you putting your items in your cart?, I was busy trying to pay, she put all my bags on the register counter and as soon as I finish paying she turns around and starts scanning the other costumer items, now all his items and mine are all together, I wish I would have ask her: can you at least wait for me to retrieve my items before you pile everything up?, or perhaps you don't have that service anymore and we should load our items ourselves? The day of my visit was 5/31/17 @ 5:51 pm and the cashiers name was LAUREN C. Thanks for your attention on this matter!
h-e-b diapers
I have been buying H-E-B brand diapers for over 6 years now. The only brand I'll have ever used and loved. Well y'all new and improved them. Well it really made them worse. And upsetting. Now I have to go and find another brand of diapers to use. Can y'all go back to the old diapers they seemed to actually worked. He know leaks at night which he didn't before. And nothing has changed.
donut coupon
I went to HEB (Valley-high store) yesterday morning and bought 12 donuts. There was a coupon (located on the side of the cabinet with all of the donuts in it)that said $.50 off Glazed or Mixed Donuts, 12 ct. Well when I went to use it that the register the cashier Sandy G said that it had to be the glazed donuts that were already prepackaged. I stated that it did not say that on the coupon. She called over (I think one of the managers) Ashley and she told me the same thing. No where on the coupon does it state this and when I told them that they just said "that is what it means). To me this is fraud on HEB's part. If I can only use the coupon for your prepackaged donuts then they should not have the coupons located where they have all of the different kinds of donuts. It's not the $.50 that I am complaining about it is the misleading (or misunderstanding of your employees) coupon that you have in your stores. This is not the first time that this has happened.
wouldn't accept a manufacturer coupon
Went to HEB in Nederland Texas purchased several items presented my coupon and manager said he couldn't take as much off as the coupon states. Then asked if I could read the coupon. I clearly stated what the coupon said and he got extremely rude and said he would not take it. Left and went to Walmart and had no trouble using my coupon. The coupon clearly states how much and what you get I don't know why it wouldn't be accepted as it clearly states in the coupon store would be reimbursed will never shop HEB again
customer service at the heb floral dept.-south valley mills, waco, tx
To whom it may concern,
I would like to bring your attention to an unfortunate incident which occurred on Monday, 5/15 at the HEB store located on South Valley Mills in Waco, Texas.
I came to HEB, as I always depend on their excellent customer service and quality products. On this day, I came to the floral department to receive assistance in ordering flowers for my sister's funeral service.
I was depending on HEB's record of excellent customer service to deal with the sensitive and delicate task of ordering flowers for a loved one who recently passed. Instead, I was shocked to encounter rude, unprofessional, and insensitive customer service from HEB employee Sarah.
I informed Sarah my sister and I were there to order flowers for my sister's funeral service. Rather than assist us, Sarah tossed us the order book and appeared distracted and annoyed. It seemed Sarah was trying to clean flowers as a result of the previous Sunday's Mother's Day rush. I acknowledged Sarah seemed busy but asked for help about floral prices. Sarah continued to respond in a rude manner and directed me to look at the order book. My sister and I were somewhat lost and seeking assistance on which florals might be ideal. However Sarah said we could speak to her manager if we needed assistance. I asked Sarah if she could help us, but again she refused.
I eventually left, as I did not want to receive such treatment, especially at such an emotionally sensitive time.
Afterward I did speak to an HEB manager. However, I want to ensure this issue is appropriately addressed. I want to prevent other customers from receiving this type of service, especially customers like myself, who come to HEB to receive assistance with a funeral service.
Best Regards,
Julie Moreno

stayfree
Heb in austin tx at 10710 research blvd. Please get them to stock normal stayfree pads. Or any normal pads. Every single pad in every brand was ultra thin or ridiculously oversized overnight ones. I assume you have a guy ordering these, who has no clue what women need. I buy heb brand sometimes, but not on this. Stop taking up shelf space for that.
Please. Regular. Stayfree. Pads. With wings. I am practically in tears with frustration.
your coupons in store
I have been a life long customer at HEB in Big Spring, Tx, due to there incapabilty of Customer service I will now take my business else where. I went & bought $240.00 in groceries. They had already sacked and loaded my whole cart full of groceries, & due to one of the monthly coupon deals, they then proceeded to have to unload the whole cart to find the coupon item. Then they said I had wrong item and I had grabbed what was in cooler on display with the coupon. They gave me the run around because they couldn't tell me why the item that I had gotten was incorrect of the item on the coupon. I feel their lack of setting up displays to correspond with coupon adds had become sloppy/lazy/careless causing customers to subconsciously grab the items just to end up buying it to prevent a hassle. This problem needs to be addressed with a solution, and mind you with today's final visit I did request and have a manager come and explain the issue, which ended up a huge waste of time. This not my first experience with the situation, I'm quite frankly fed up.
poor customer-centricity
On 4/29/2017 at 11:30am, I went to the seafood department to purchase some snow crabs legs and there was no price on them so I asked the lady who came over to assist-she was very perky and affable. She did not know but asked the other gentleman who was there and he said $10.97 and so she repeated it and then he said $11.98. I responded that a particular HEB always had them on sale and he immediately responded that they were all different and so I left there and asked another gentleman in the meat section for the seafood manager. He replied where he might be and that his name was Robert.
I went to the cashier who was very nice and asked her to page Robert and she did.
After checking me out, another cashier took over ringing customers and she got Robert on the phone and handed me the phone.
I told Robert about my experience and then he said that the gentleman was correct that the HEBs are all different and then I responded that that gentleman could have expanded further in his report and mention other options as I am sure that HEB is into customer service and customer satisfaction-then suddenly, the phone went dead!
I looked at it for a couple of seconds in surprise, I even mumbled that he hung up on me!
Then I heard someone say 'I am right here'. (Would have been more professional to let me know that BEFORE he hung up on me!)
Anyway, he came and said that the girl was in training and that the gentleman was correct in that the HEBs are all different and when I asked when the item would be going on sale he proceeded to educate me on the three different sizes of snow crab legs that HEB carries and then said that they do not go on sale.
I then responded that I have been to ALL the HEB stores in and around Houston (BIG HINT that I am a loyal customer, but in his quest to prove his point, he overlooked this). I mentioned again that a particular HEB store had them on sale every week. Robert then said again that the stores were different and so I responded-'I guess I will be going to that location from now on' and then I left!
I called that HEB from the parking lot and when I was connected to the seafood department, the gentleman said that the snow crab legs were $11.97. When I asked when they were going on sale, he responded on Tuesday, but he was not sure, he would let me speak to the manager.
(Guess which store that I will be going to and NOT going to from now on!)

cashier
I have now twice had to deal with the unhappy, extra round girl "Alissa" at HEB in Missouri city, TX. I was shopping late three days ago and had to deal with her attitude. The belt was full of my groceries and she refused to start checking me out because she angrily couldn't find a bagger. I asked if I could bag so we could start! She stood back and crossed her arms. She did this for a while before finally getting started without a bagger. She did ask two girls who declined. My husband proceeded to bag our own groceries (not a problem) but this little girl grabs the milk the same time and didn't want to let go of the damn thing. So they struggled for a few seconds before she let it go. Now today I'm unfortunately stuck in her line. No smile, no personality, nothing. I am shocked she's up front around customers. The cashiers end up as the face of HEB, and bad red hair, no smile and bad attitude are not a good last impression before leaving. I am willing to drive to Pearland HEB to not have to end up back in this employees line. Obviously this employee needs soft skills training or something. Customer service, I'd imagine is at the top of your list of priorities for the company, this employee is not doing that for you.

I Was already on line to pay - and one of the store workers told me to go to lane # 14 (15 items or less) I'm used to this since I regularly shop at the several HEB'S in mcallen - I moved my cart to the lane and put everything in the band. when the cashier was done ringing the items, and I was ready to pay, she told me "if I knew that was a 15 less lane" I told her yes, but that the young man in the back had told me to pay a this lane, she then more rudely said "that's weird, we are always told when this happens" By then I was getting exasperated, and flat out told her I don't know if they inform you or not, i'm just a customer and I was told to pay here, I pointed again to the section were the HEB worker had told me to move-
I was very upset, she noticed and called the manager, I told the manager, the same thing, and described the worker, (I thought he had glasses) I was fuming by this point - the manager comes back, and says oh, I don't see him, I grabbed by bags quickly and my credit card, and left with my cart - theres I saw the young man that had helped me - (with no glasses) Rick was his name in the tag, and told him what had happened he got very upset, and said "really, she said that" I'm going to speak to her right know, I went back to look for the manager (and he was standing in a corner with other workers, near the disrespectful cashier, - laughing) I approached him, and told him I had found the young man and to go speak to him-
Im very very disappointed and was embarrassed by this cashiers behavior - she needs to know you don't question customers and treat them like liers.
She Needs manners and customers service skills - And if she's upset because they are sending people to her lane with more items, that indicated, she needs to complain to the manager and not to the clientele.
I reiterate, Ive always shopped at HEB - it's not the first time the cashiers are rude, I suck it up - because we have the need to purchase items of need-but this experience today - has left a very sour taste in my mouth and I felt the need to defend myself for once-
rotten produce - wurzbach/ih10, san antonio
Beware of the rotten produce at the Wurzbach/IH10 location. They will sell you absolutely black, squishy, stinking produce of all types. I've complained about this for years to various management and they either act like "so what?" or all concerned like they are actually going to do something. They don't. You are risking throwing your money away every time you pick up an onion or potato or a bag of grapes or anything else and don't inspect every single piece for rot and bruising and even freeze damage.in actuality, they couldn't care less.
I'm a new fan of Walmart and how they keep their produce section culled of rot and offer plump, juicy and fresh produce. Yippie for Walmart! Walmart in San Antonio knows all about HEB's crappy produce and they think it's funny.
HEB may think they've got Texas by the tail, but with their horrible customer service and crappier and crappier produce, the Texas public will eventually catch on and go elsewhere. HEB's days are numbered (although it will still take years and years to get rid of them). I can't wait until they are gone and other stores come into the area that actually give us choice over this would-be monopoly. For shame.
front end manager
I was the second person in line and had been standing there for 3 or 4 min. A lady just walked up behind me and the front end manager who was bagging grabbed her and started to check her out. I spoke up and asked why she was chosen over me since I was there before her, he just looked at me and laughed to his counterpart. After he finished I walked up to him to talk to him about what just happened and he just turned his back to me and walked away. I'm sorry but I work in customer service and retail and that was rude. I ship at the woodlands HEB in Sterling Ridge all the time. I see this kid all the time there. And when I see the store manager I will engine him of what happen. Just really upset that this kid took someone over me who had been waiting for 5 seconds. Tell me why I should t go to Krogers or Trader Joe's from now own. How can you keep me as a patron.
Not happy.
I want a apology from this kid.

gasoline product
First off, I actually LOVE HEB and will not shop anywhere else. However, I pulled into the gas station yesterday (4/2/2018) and filled up with gas. Immediately after, every time I began accelerating my car died. This happened about 5 times. I took it to the dealership today and they told me I had some water in my gas tank. For now it seems that I have expelled it or it has evaporated in the partial ignition process. This was at the store in League City off of 96.
poor cashier service
As we're checking out Janet R. did not even greet us. As she was scaning the items she kept smiling Marcus not even looking where she placed our food. She smelled like too much perfume and had on 2 inch eyelashes. When we were paying Janet R. Was flirting with Marcus. She handed us the recipt and did not even say "Have a good day because she was to busy flirting with Marcus.
e gift cards
This is now probably the tenth time this has happened.. Do not purchase heb gift cards, especially online. Purchased from their site, repeatedly, the emailed actual e card, never shows up to the recipients account. The only thing less functional or reliable then their e cards, are their e gift card customer service employees. Literally, their answer to why the card hasn't been received... "until you have the gift card number off of the emailed gift card.. I can't help you" lol!-wtf? If you happen to win the gift card lottery and actually receive yours. Good luck using it in a store. The cashiers act like your trying to steal groceries... System sucks.
yes I'M LIVING THE NIGHTMARE RIGHT NOW. it's funny (not ha ha) bcuz the CSR I talked to said EXACTLY what u described. almost verbatim! I would have choked the [censored] if I could have reached her. TOTAL AND COMPLETE LACK OF REGARD. throughout the entire stupid phone call she treated me like I was interrupting her last meal. I'm BEYOND PISSED
manager anette (hispanic short black hair older woman) h‑e‑b 735 sw military san antonio, blocked me from entering a line I was first in line
Complaint on manager named Anette.
Came to this location late last night to pick up some groceries. Was looking for a line and all had many people in them. Me being the way I am I was watching carefully for a lane to open because most of the time when it is crowded managers open up more lines to compensate. I saw a manager (Annett) walking towards a isle and flipped on the light so I moved over and stood in front of the lines barrier (The string tied from side to side). After she opened the barrier I proceeded to walk in and the manager jutted her hand in front of me to block me. I was not expecting for her to do that since I was first in line. When I asked why she was standing in front of me she explained that there were plenty of people who were also waiting and let 2 other customers in front of me even though I was first in line. When I asked why she would do that she told me not to worry about it because she is the manager and makes the final decision. How unprofessionally rude. I then proceeded to ask her where I could submit a complaint and she walked away saying she was busy. After I finished paying I walked up to her at the business center and asked her to supply me with the corporate number because I wanted to submit a report on her. She dodged my question and told me that it was not her duty to do so and that I could ask someone else if I wanted to. Before I could get any more information she took off to the elevator and laughed on her way there. I do not know what her problem was? Maybe she was having a bad night, but I was very disappointed seeing
that she lived up to the comments my other family has told me about her. All in all it was a terrible experience and I was forced to move aside in line even though I was first in line to pay for my items. A ill mannered manager who is abusing her power and is not helping customers but rather in a sense giving them the finger.
Going to call corporate tomorrow to help solve this issue with the rude Manager Anette

bakery/cake
I had gone to heb to buy a cake. I thought the sponge cake with stareberries look really good. So I got it. Mind the price was almost 12$ for a 6in cake. I cut into the cake. And it was disappointing on how much cake was not there. I basiclly paid for whip cream. I did not go to the store to return it, because I felt. You should not be putting that much whip cream. Heb is becoling like walmart. Taking our money. And not giving us the product we are paying for.
