Daughter went to hair cuttery to get a trim and her eyebrows done...we were over charged for the hair cut and they burnt & tore skin off her eyelid from waxing over the same area more than once and the wax being to hot! Then the girl tells my daughter oh you'll be ok...I guess the wax was too hot..Manager is extremely rude!

bad hair color, bad attitude
Today, I brought my daughter to get her hair color at the Pines Hair Cuttery in Pembroke Pines, Florida. We spoke to one of the ladies and she assured us by the way she talks that she knew about color. My daughter asked for a blond color and she showed my daughter the different types of blond colors she has . My daughter showed her the one she wanted but the lady said that she was going to put another color similar because she thought it was going to look better on her. She used her cosmetology terms and convinced my daughter and I that she was going to look even better. Unfortunately, we trusted a lady that has no clue on applying color in people. My daughter's highlight came out blue and the rest of the hair orange. I asked the lady why the hair looked like that and she said that she had given the color my daughter had asked for. So in top of all that, the lady had an attitude and even asked me why I had selected her if I thought she didn't know how to do her job. She immediately asked me to fill out a form for a complaint and to pay . I asked to see a manager and told both of them that all I wanted was for them to give my daughter the color hair she asked for. The manager in demeanor tone of voice told me that all she could do for my daughter was to give her some highlights. I agree and gave her a chance. At the highlights didn't look blue but the hair did not look pretty. It looked more like it was done at home or by an amateur or a new student from a cosmetology school. In top of that I bought 3 products from Redken because they were on special, buy two and get the third free. I asked the lady three times that she had charged 4 times for three products I had and she kept saying that she had to do it like that in order to give me the discount. At this point, I was so tired and had no energy to argue that decided to buy the products and return them tomorrow morning, Please stay away from the Haircuttery in Pines, Pembroke Pines. They don't know what they are doing and people there have the worst attitude.By the way the employee number and name is 12949, Leydis

horrible haircut
I took my daughter in for a haircut, she has long hair and plans to donate it. We told the guy who was cutting her hair, that she want it just below her shoulder. He just BUTCHER her hair! Some parts were long some were very short, it was all uneven! He had the nerve to tell me it was cause he had layered her hair. BS! I don't know how to cut hair, but I know THAT was not layering. I was so upset, I demanded that someone else fix her hair. The girl tried to fix it, but end up cutting it shorter. He f*cked it up so bad, she couldn't even salvaged the damaged that he did! To top it all off, I had to pay for a haircut that a monkey could of done much better, and of course they said that I got a $1 discount. What a joke! I will NEVER go to this place or any other Hair Cuttery ever again! Thanks for f*cking up my daughter's hair before school start, CHRIS!
butchered my hair
I went to Hair Cuttery with the intent of getting a new hairstyle. My hair was long and all one length, so I wanted to try something different and a little shorter since it's summer time. I got there and showed the lady a picture of the cut I wanted. She then kept playing with my hair and then said how I could donate it and it would still be as long as I wanted it (I play tennis so I needed it to fit into a ponytail). She then told me I needed at least 8 inches to donate and showed me where my hair would come to. I agreed to donate it only because she said it would still be long enough. She even told me that the length of the cut would be as long as hers. After cutting it she washed my hair and then finished cutting it to look like the picture. When I got home and straightened my hair, I realized that my hair was totally messed up. One side was longer than the other and the cut was not even close to the picture I had showed her. I measured the hair she cut off for me to donate and it turns out she actually cut 11 inches off instead of 8. I came back about an hour later with my parents to complain about it. We asked to talk to a manager, but we were told they didn't have one. So the lady we talked to gave us the name of the lady that is the "leader". We called her the next day and then went to see her. All she could really say is people have bad days and she tried to do anything to get us to come back and how we should give another stylist the benefit of the doubt with fixing my hair. She ended up fixing it a little bit and I got a refund.
The thing I just don't understand is how someone can mess up a haircut so badly with a picture sitting right in front of them. I'm pretty sure when you tell me that my hair will be the same length as yours and then once it's cut it's shorter than what you said, you know you've messed up. I'm just really mad about the fact that the haircut isn't anywhere close to what I wanted. It's still not the same length on both sides even after getting it "fixed". One side looks really choppy and the other looks fine. The fact that she said I need at least 8 inches to donate and then cuts off 11 inches irrates me as well. I was hesitant about donating it anyways because that was not my intent when I first got there. By saying I needed at least 8, I assumed that was how much she was cutting off, nothing more than that.
Overall, this was the worst experience I have had there and the worst haircut experience EVER. We are never going back to them after what happened. Until it grows out, I have to deal with a haircut I hate all because a lady couldn't follow simple directions and "had a bad day".
bad hair cut
I went to this salon for the first time in oct.2011, for a hair cut.I asked the stylist to just take an inch from my length and trim my long layers just half an inch, the stylist didn't pay any attention to what i ask her to do.and she chopped off my layers and cut them in a way that they looked so uneven.she gave me a terrible hair cut, i still paid her and the next day i called the manager to complain about my bad hair cut so manager told me to come back for a redo with this other hair stylist who, she said was more experienced, but unfortunately that was the opposite, because this other stylist who was suppose to redo my hair, and blend in the layers was even worse than the first one, because she thinned my hair(my hair are not even thick) without asking me.I was so upset because, now my hair looked even worse then before.I complain to the manager again but it was no use, my hair still look terrible, i am never going to any hair cuttery again, all the hair stylist there are inexperienced and they don't really know how to cut the hair.
I'm in PA. i just had my first experience with hair cuttery. it too, was completely awful. hair is completely uneven with layers that do not blend, it is awful. worst haircut i ever had. i am panicking bc i need to get it fixed and with it being sunday, i will have to wait 2 days until Tuesday for a good salon who can fix this to be open. i hope i can get an appt for tuesday.
i cant believe how bad the haircut is. from the front it looked OK. when i got home and looked at the back it was a mess... length uneven all over and layers that do not blend in. i'm so upset. i should never have went to this place, they have ruined my hair.
harassment by stylist to buy salon products
I have been a customer of the Hair Cuttery in this area for many years. I've had a couple of unsatisfactory cuts there, but overall, I've been given decent service. Except for the last couple of times I've been to get my hair done. Tonight is the last straw! I am so sick of the stylists harassing me to buy their OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE salon products. She no...

I'm from Georgia visiting my daughter and I needed my hair trimmed for my son's wedding. My hair was down just touching my lower back/buttocks. My daughter took me to "Hair Cuttery" where she gets her hair colored so I could get a trim. I asked the girl to cut only 4 " or to my "Shoulder Blades", instead she cut 10" and its now on my shoulders, not the shoulder blades. I am very pissed and I went in the store the next day to speak with a manager and the manager says "What do you want us to do about it?" It would have been nice if the girl listened the first time about only cutting off 4", or maybe give me my money back. Now I can understand why there is no longer a Hair Cuttery in Georgia. I will not return to another "Hair Cuttery" in the future.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
You got four inches cut off and the hair went from butt length to shoulder blade length? Ummm... Where do you think your shoulder blades and butt is?
You can file a complaint with the BBB and you can also call and tell the GM before you do that. Usually that snaps them out of their funk and they are willing to cooperate and probably give you your money back.
unproffesional
I went in for a trim. The dumb *** girl cut all my hair off and still expected me to pay for it. I don't think so. It wasn't straight or what I wanted. I saw they offer color. LMAO! Not to mention I could hear her gum smacking the entire time. Very tacky people. They don't have a clue what their doing. They talk a big game but can't back it up. I won't be going back. Can't believe they hire incompetent people like this. They should be shutdown. This shows extremely poor management.
hair color
I have never had a bad experience with hair cuttery, so It was my birthday and I decided to get my hair colored and cut. I brought pictures with me to show the women exactly how I wanted my hair.
well she puts the dye on and waited and put me under the hot dryer, then starts washing it out and notices the ends aren't the same color as the roots. So she calls another women over and that women starts blaming it on me saying that i had color in before. I said actually i haven't colored my hair in a long time and I've had many haircuts since then. So then they precede to get bleach and let it sit on there another 20 min or so. Then she washes it out and has me sit in the chair again... at this point the salon is closed and I've been here 2 1/2 hours. So I'm looking at my hair and telling her that is not the color blonde i wanted. So she starts putting more dye in my hair another 20 min. or so goes by and she washes it out again. Now it 9 pm and she starts blow drying my hair and im seeing this color that i could have gone to the grocery store and done myself. So I started crying and couldn't stop, i was just crying tears tho not sobbing. So she tried to cut my hair and i said never mind about the hair cut and I also wanted curls in the beginning and she tried to style my hair, i said no! why would i want a style on hair that i don't even like? so im thinking that she's not going to charge me for the crap she put me through. She did and while she was trying to ring me up she said oh you come back on Tuesday and I'll wait for you to do highlights that's what will make your hair look the color you want. I said OK im not going to be charged and at first she wanted to say yes but then said no. So im suppose to walk around for 3 days with hair that looks like crap, nope! im going back today and trying to get a refund, hopefully I can!

On Feb 25 of this year I went into store #2842 to ask the young girl to cover up my gray hair. I had a special day planned for my husband the next day. the young lady ( Miss Courtney)said that would be no problem. She sat me in her chair and she started. needless to say, an hr and half and two colors later, IM STILL GRAY! I paid 94.00$ for something I'm NOT HAPPY with! They told me because they used color on my hair I HAD TO PAY!
Please help
thank you
Renee Cox
Wouldnt have paid them a penny in the first place, if they cant dye hair correctly and the rectify their own mistakes at their own expense then i would be asking what qualifications they have.
rude and burned my scalp
Well after my stylist wasn't to friendly, she proceded to wash and cut my hair then was blowing drying my hair and was burning my scalp and as i pulled away she continued to dry my hair, she didn't ask if there was a problem with the heat nor did she ask if the water she was using was a good temp ! so now my head is sore thanks a lot ! nor do i like my hair cut! i guess i should have waited and went to my normal stylist she is so good to me like her alot.
unfair treatment of employees
I have worked for HC for 4 years, I'm in my mid fifties and decided to return to school for 4 years for a paralegal degree, as soon as I let my SL know what I was planning ( I still planned on working ) she proceeded to make my life a living hell! There were several co-workers that came to me and told me what she was saying when I wasn't there, like the assist SL and the SL said they " couldn 't stand me" and they were going to punish me until I quit. Now does that sound like a "values " that the company upholds? I don't think so! Bullies should not be in charge, they wouldn't like it!

bad hair coloring
I got my hair colored and highlighted and the girl named Fernande #20535 charged me for long hair .My hair is just touching my shoulders. The other problem I had was the store was about to close and She rushed through my hair and it looks like there is root growth right after I got it done on April 2, 2011 @ Collage SquareShopping Center Salon #1186. I have a friend who went there on Saturday Night and her hair is longer that mine and she paid less than me. I paid $142.00 and I am very dissapointed in what I recieved for that kind of money. Please resolve this problem at your earliest convence Thank You. I do have a picture to show you but can not attach it to this complaint. You may reach me at [protected] or 1112 Maplefield Road Newark, DE 19713

horrible how they treat employees
Hair Cuttery has got to be the worst company ever, especially the way, they treat their employees. I honestly can say, from experience, they could care less about their employees, and you are just a number they try to get even higher numbers from you, and when you dont succeed at selling 100.00 in product or more, you get scolded for. I feel bad for the customers that think they are getting good services but the cheap products we use on people as well. Half of the products are the lowest end redken has to offer. Just beware if you go there or work there.
Unfair treatment to there employees someone should sue this company soon!
poor customer service. lack of professionalism
My Daughter had an appointment and 2 1/2 hours later the stylist had not started on her hair style. The stylist had styled my daughter's hair many times before and her hair was nicely done and performed in a timely fashion. But today, the she encountered a much different situation. The stylist gave her attitude as if it were my daughter's fault that she had an a appointment and that the stylist was behind. When I telephoned the stylist to speak to her about the long wait she stated that she was behind and that there was nothing that she could do about it. Where is the Professionalism? Where is the customer service. I will never go back to the hair cuttery in Bowie town center in Bowie, MD.
hair coloring
Had my colored with first one color and then had highlights put in! The way she styled my hair highlights showed but not usually the way I wore my hair. Made a call to them and told them that you couldn't even see the highlights. (which U can't) They told me highlights start at $50 and I could come in and PAY again. Of course I said I would never be back there again if that is how they did business. I hope this is enought information to file a complaint. Would not reccomment The Hair Cuttery to ANYONE if that how they do business. I will also tell EVERYONE I know this same story!

irritation and hair loss after hair dye
Scalp Irritation After hair dye
I had a hair coloring at the hair cuttery in Jacksonville florida. t has been six months and two doctor visits and my scalp is still irritated. The "stylist" left me with the hair coloring on while she went on to cut three costomers hair. When I walk out of there my scalp was burning. The top of my hair where the burning was the worst the hair has thin out so much that I have had people notice. Please stay away and what ever you do do not color your hair at hair cuttery.

bad haircut
I needed a TRIM this past weekend, and my usual salon was closed, so, against my better judgment I decided to go to a local haircutery. I was VERY specific, I asked to just clean up the sides and back, and no length off the top or front. I also told the girl that I was growing my hair out for the winter, and was going to be getting highlights from my regular salon in the next week or so.
She decided to use a zero guard and proceeded to make the sides and back nearly bald, which isn't all bad, but I did ask her to just trim. I let that go, the sides and back grow fastand she then shampood my hair, when we got back to the chair she received a phone call, while on the phone she decided to continue to trim my hair at the same time. I noticed she was cutting much more then I told her too, and I said "you remember I said slight trim" she then told .me my hair was uneven, and continued. Then to the front, and I put my foot down."please don't touch the front" I told her, and she gave me a rude look, and I simply said I was done.
The problem is simple, I made it perfectly clear that I was keeping my hair longer, and she decided on her own to give me a typical man's cut...she clearly didn't listen, and did what she wanted. I ended up with a military look, and all I wanted was to clean up the sides and back. Now, I couldn't get highlights for two months if I wanted too since she took half the length. I originally wasn't going to make an issue about it, but if people can't listen, and do what we the customer ask, then they shouldn't work in that field. I'm irritated by how my hair looks, pissed that I have to wait again to get highlights, and disgusted that she thought nothing about my complaint. This is the FINAL time I ever go to haircutery again, and I hope they stop hiring hacks, since like the time before I had a similar problem. Professional stylish always listen, and I've never had a problem, but haircutery, no matter how many times I've tried never gets it right. You get what you pay for, and if you don't care about how your hair looks, then by all.means go to haircutery, they do what they want no matter how specific you are.

hair cut
I went after work to get my hair cut it was about 715 or so I knew excatly the style i wanted. I got my hair cut and was pretty impressed with the cut until i went into work the next day and was told my hair was cut unevely. I am really upset with this and now have to pay to go somewhere else to get this fixed because i will never go back to a haircuttery again. It costed me 30.00 for a cut that looks like crap.Honestly how would you feel having to walk around like this until you could make arrangements to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I feel that i should be entitled to my 30.00 back.

ruined my hair
Hair Cuttery in Springfield, PA made a disaster of my hair. I am going to have to wait months for it to grow out and I am in a show in September. I told the woman not to cut short layers. She chopped up one side of my head! I went back and got a refund and another stylist tried to fix it.
It looks horrible. I am embarrassed to go out of the house. I went to the Hair Cuttery website to send an email to customer service and it says they are having difficulty with their contact us page. Figures. I will have to wait until Monday to call them. What are they going to do? Nothing. ***. I am seriously thinking of having the woman fired. I requested my tip back. I did not get it.
I have never had a haircut like this in my life! It is awful.
DO NOT GO HERE... THIS PLACE SUCKS...
i went for trim, and the she destroyed my hair, it will take forever to grow back.. i've never had short hair before... she did a disgusting job really ###... she should not be in the business... my intensions are to get my money back and get her fired.
