Wrong dates and no cancellation
Their phone number showed on (as an add apparently) on a Holiday Inn website. I called and wanted to book two rooms adjoining for a date two weeks away. They took all the information but when they sent me the confirmation, one room was for the correct date and the other room was for that night (the day I called). When I got the confirmation and say the error I called Tham back and wanted to cancel but they refused to saying that I wasn't giving them two days notice. I specifically asked for two adding or close to adjoining rooms and they booked two completely different dates. The won't listen to my complaint. I told them that when I called I was informed I was being recorded. I asked them to listen to the recording - I wanted two rooms for one night same day. I am now dealing with my credit card company.
Desired outcome: Run them out of business
Hotel bookings
I entered Millenium Hotels web site to make a booking and somehow was hijacked into Hotelvalues site without my knowledge.
I booked a room and received a confirmation from Hotelvalues in USA.
Shortly after I found that a family member had done a booking earlier and I needed to cancel.
I made contact with the hotel, they had not received any booking, I tried to phone the number on a confirmation e-mail, but this was unobtainable.
I sent an e-mail to the confirmations site at hotelvalues but this was returned as ACCESS DENIED but was directed to scamtrace.com where a considerable number of people had been scammed by this company.
I have paid £91.12 for a service that I will not receive from a company that do not exist.
This company should be closed down.

HotelValues.com — Charges. I made a reservation on 06/29/21 using Hotel values. It was for 1 night at Crown Plaza Gurugram (India) and the price that showed online was $345.24 total. Due to certain emergency, I was forced to cancel the booking on the same day. After cancellation the following message was received via mail:
Costs & Fees
Subtotal US$213.10
Extra Person Fees US$26.98
Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees US$105.16
(See Details Below)
Total US$345.24

A refund of US$345.24 has been processed and applied to your credit card.

Till today I haven't received any refund. While I contacted the Hotel "Crown Plaza Gurugram" and asked for the refund, I have been informed that they can't help as this booking s through 3rd Party. While I asked for the contact number of the HotelValue.com, they expressed their inability for the same as well.

I wish I would have read these reviews. I booked a hotel reservation, thinking I was using the actual hotel's website. Once I figured out the mistake, I immediately cancelled the reservation through hotelvalues.com within 15 minutes. They refunded all but $250, and I was WELL within the cancellation policy.
I have since filed a dispute with my credit card company for this transaction, as I cannot get through to anyone from hotelvalues.com.
Never use Hotelvalues.com. They have more hidden fees than you can imagine. True, Hotelvalues says these fees are disclosed in writing, but you must understand that when you ask about them, a person with a thick accent will mumble something that sounds as if you'll be paying a lower figure than you will actually be billed. Customer service is poor. To summarize: extra fees, poor disclosure, mumbled reassurances, a much bigger bill than expected, and poor follow-up service.
excessive booking fees and scam posting as the desired hotel
I am sorry to say that I have the same complaint that I now see has been made by many others. Shut these people down!
Desired outcome: refune of excessive fees
Undisclosed booking fee
On June 9th, I booked a room for two nights at Holiday Inn Express Pensacola via hotelvalues.com. When I received their confirmation, it had a previously undisclosed fee "Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees" of $197.04. I called them and demanded that they refund that fee, and they refused. Confirmation number is R2575880836. (See attached screenshot)
I want this fee refunded, and I want hotelvalues banned from advertising via Google.
Desired outcome: Refund my fee. Ban hotelvalues from advertising via Google.
These people are criminals. They steal money. I booked a stay at Days Inn in Blairsville, PA and the room rate was $242. These [censored] added $142 AFTER I completed the reservation. Google needs to ban these thieves.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE BOOKING DIRECTLY WITH the Hotel you are reserving. I thought I was (similar to other reviews here). I also received a previously undisclosed fee of $655! It was not clear about a no cancellation policy, no hotel has that policy. I am disputing the charge with my Credit Card company. I am also filing claims with the Consumer Protection Agency in California and my city councilman and State Assembly Person. They will not get away with continuing to conduct business in this way.

False advertisement on a hotel room listed for certain price not honor/ non disclosed super high fees until reservation is summited
Hello
My name is Nicolas Carreno, on July 22m2021 I made a big mistake by booking a hotel room online in Goleta, CA
I searched the web for the best possible price I saw the hotelvalues.com advertised a room listed at 125.00 us dollars which seems reasonable, prior to booking I called the same hotel for pricing and there were 149.00 us dollars if have done it in person or over the phone directly to the same hotel since I'm on a fixed income and the pandemic problems I tried to save some money. I filled out the required reservation form and submitted it along with my credit card for payment, a few minutes later I received the confirmation number and a summary of the charges which there were way too much different from what I had made the reservation. They charged 149 00 plus 88.00 in taxes and fees total bill of 229.00 normally bed tax fees in a hotel would it be between 20.00 and 28.00 us dollars that extra fees that they imposed were never disclosed in the pre-booking reservation including the non-refundable cancellation they disclosed the nonrefundable reservation policy after the fact, once you submit the payment and booking reservation. I immediately called the company to cancel, they said that I could not cancel. This deceiving practice is unacceptable this company has numerous complaints on the same issues I believe that this company should be blocked and ban from doing business they should be stopped before they continue to scam more innocent people.
Desired outcome: to have this company removed from, doing deceiving and unscrupulous business, I would like to have that extra money refund to me report this company to the US attorney general consumer protection.
Spoofed hotel website
Predatory website that looked like the hotel's site. Selected my room and rate, entered credit card but the tax was not displayed. I had thought it would be on the next page after confirming but my cc was automatically charged a tax rate of well over 50%.
They would not refund my money and the hotel could not do anything about it.
This company needs to be investigated and shut down.
Excessive fee
Thought I was booking direct with Holiday Inn in Long Branch NJ. Only to discover this particular web site appeared for reservation booking, my mistake. In booking they charged me in excess of $150.00 representing their fees for a simple process. The true cost of the hotel was $565.59 with this company charging me $736.09. Tried contact the company with zero success.
Based on prior posting it appears this was not the first nor I presume the last gouging of clients. No method to obtain a refund but strongly suggest the FTC review their business practices.
Desired outcome: Refund of $125.00
Hotel stay "tax recovery charges & service fees"
We were travelling for business, and looked online for the best room rate - which we found at The Quality Inn - Price, Ut. It was $93 per night. I signed a receipt at the hotel, agreeing to the $93 per night rate.
I made the reservation through the Quality Inn Website, however, 2 different charges appeared on my account. $330 & $210. When I received my confirmation, it stated it was from hotelvalues.com, and that they charged me $110.82 in Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees
Tax should have been $10.82 at the Utah 5.02% Lodging rate (.675 sales tax, and 5.02 Lodging)
This "fee" is more than the room rate! When I called, because I now have $540.82 in charges on my card, I was told they couldn't refund the extra $100 they charged on the $330 amt, but could ask the hotel to refund the $210. He said - it is a resort fee.. It is NOT a resort! There is no Resort fee in Utah! I am livid! I could not get through to the customer service assistant. He finally offered $33.08 in a refund, but I told him this is not acceptable - or LEGAL! Who would pay an extra $110 on top of a $93 Room rate?
He kept saying that when I gave my email address, I agreed to the charges. I told him I wouldn't have agreed to that. Also, on my Reservation Confirmation email, it doesn't even show the room rate - only a Subtotal of $219.98 - which isn't even the total of the Room Rate plus Tax! Then it adds the $110.82 in fees! The phone number for them is [protected]
Desired outcome: Refund of $135.42 & $210.02 which is what I was charged over the amount I should have been charged which was $195.86
Hotel reservation charges
Thought I was booking a room directly thru Hawthorn Suites by Wyndam and was not informed the huge booking charges until after the charge went thru. $376 bill plus their $220.98 for a total of $597.60. I called immediately but they would not let me cancel. I was adamant I wanted to cancel or I would protest charge. So they Cancelled but still charged me. So No Room but $597 charge. So I asked them not to cancel since I am still paying charge. So even now 3 days later the Hotel and Priceline (whom they booked thru) still has reservation but Hotelvalues says they will still cancel the reservatio but still charge me.
Desired outcome: don't cancel my rooms and these people should be put out of business!
Posing as major hotel chains and overcharging on room reservations
I booked a one night stay at Homewood Suites in Burlington, Ontario, Canada at the advertised rate of $129.00. The booking was made at that rate but when I checked my credit card the total cost was $182.78. There was a $53.78 cost for 'Tax Recovery Charges and Service Fees'. Like all of the other complaints about this outfit, how can they get away with this.
Google must be getting enough feedback about these companies that they should be taking some action to get them off their search/site.
Best western hotel reservation
July 8 2021
I thought I was booking a hotel room at Best Western Plus in Downtown Indianapolis from Best Western Hotels' direct website. I had to move quickly and did not realize that I was being charged nearly $350 over the Hotel's actual rate. The additional fee was called "Tax Recovery Charge and Additional Fees". I expected there to be some head tax but nothing like that.
The confirmation came from the hotelvalues.com domain.

Hotel reservation scam
7/6/2021: I logged on to a website that I thought was Comfort Inn Suite hotel, and called the 1-800 number to book for my mom. 1) The sales rep implied that he worked for the hotel, and he agreed to a low price which I made him repeat so as to both parties agreeing on a bottom line price. 2) He sent me a confirmation email that was 20% higher than agreed...

The worst company I have ever dealt with for reservation they charged me extra 400$. Never use them for any reservations and worst customer service ever. And when I called I thought I was calling the hotel because the was the number popped up when I was trying to do the reservation online. But when they answered they never told me that they were third part doing the reservation for the hotel. So basically it is just a rib off.
Reservation over charge
I reserved a hotel with Hotel Values, and they overcharged my credit card by $205.43. The reservation was for 3 nights, and I have a receipt from the hotel for $361.71. Hotel Values charged my credit card $567.14, which is $205.43 over the total amount on the receipt from the hotel. I have spoken to Hotel Values customer service for a refund of the difference, and they said the reservation is nonrefundable. I spent an hour and a half on the phone with Customer Service, and was offered a 10% "discount," 15% "discount," and a 20% "discount" then was disconnected. I called back and given a runaround with various Customer Service reps and "supervisors". I insisted that a refund of $205.43 is due because I was overcharged and told a manager would call me back. The manager has not responded. I have used this service in the past with no problems (correct billing etc.) This time the price was obviously wrong, and they are not willing to correct their mistake. I will not recommend this service to anyone and will never use it again for reservations.
Desired outcome: Refund of $205.43
Non-refundable booking
I booked three nights at the Big Horn Resort in Billings Mt.. The reason for booking this hotel was for their water park. I found out that the water park is closed, the hotel pool is closed, the game room is closed and now I'm stuck there because I can't cancel the reservation. By the way, Big Horn's website doesn't mention anything about these closures.
Desired outcome: refund
Hotel reservations
My husband and I reserved two rooms through getaroom.com at Hotel Indigo New Orleans. Called the hotel eight days later to ensure a smooth trip only to find out that only one room had been reserved. After two hours on the phone with getaroom.com to work out the issue we ended up cancelling our reservation with getaroom.com. Getaroom.com insisted on charging us a cancelation fee for their mistake. We cancelled four days before our scheduled arrival because of their mistake and they want to charge us a cancellation fee?! Pure insanity. I feel as though the getaroom.com is scamming people. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. This is completely unfair. Our two reservation numbers are #R2590059571 and #R2590060802. What you are putting my family through is completely unethical, return all of our funds.
Desired outcome: full refund
Fraudulent identification and pricing
HotelValues.com does not say anything about being a 3rd party reservation site. Then they charged me 42.6% in fees and taxes for the reservation. I will never (NEVER!) do this again.
Desired outcome: Expose their fraudulent business practices and put them out of business.
Hotel room reservation
I am so embarrassed to say I got scammed by these people. I was trying to book for a wedding in October using a block. When they quoted me more than a $100/night more than the guaranteed rate for the block, I couldn't believe it. I asked at least four times why it was more and they kept telling me it was government fees/taxes and I was stuck with it. Since it was a wedding, I didn't want to lose out on a room (couldn't find one on my own). They NEVER told me I was booking though a third party and they were charging me fees. This should be illegal.
Desired outcome: I want the extra fees I should not have been charged refunded. I may take this up with my credit card company also.
Entirely agree with all comments, this organisation redirected my browser, I thought I was on the hotel website, do not use these people and watch out for the redirection of your browser
Never ever I'll book with Hotelvalues.com.
beware: this is a fraudulent organization, charging huge markups and a no-returns cancellation. policy! I am complaining to Consumer Affairs Canada, as it should be illegal in Canada
Unethical service
Hotel issue:
1. June 6, 2021. Went to theknot.com/minnandjames
2. Clicked the link for "book rooms" at the Comfort Inn & Suites, ‘use code TF03S3'
3. Link to a website with "guest reservations"at the top in the black bar, below that were photos of the Comfort Inn lobby that I recognized. The only other thing on the top of the page was a phone number
4. I selected rooms for two nights, two rooms each, and realized there was no place to put the code for the wedding event, so I called the number on the page
5. A man answered confirming that I was calling for the Saint Johnsbury property. He said that the price I was getting was for the code for the wedding even though I couldn't enter it. He also said that the extra fees charged were because the property was doing deep sanitizing, no one would be using my room for three days prior to my arrival
6. I completed the purchase online, as I didn't have much of a choice of hotels in the area and he told me that I was at the right place for that wedding price, $186 per night for each room for two nights.

7. I then found out that the wedding price should've been ~$137 per night with the code (total of $694.12 for two rooms, two nights)- as you can see the added fees are not even consistent
8. I searched online for the hotel name specifically and called them with their number, they confirmed that they have rooms for that price in a wedding block quote they also confirmed that a reservation that comes through agoda.com with my name on it. The hotel itself could not cancel my reservation, they said I would have to get back in touch with the other people. They also said that the information about the sanitizing/3 days empty was not true
9. I called the number from the original website again and was told they couldn't do anything about it because it was a nonrefundable reservation, even though the information given to me was false. They said they would open a query with the hotel partner because the hotel partner would be able to offer a one time cancellation.
10. A day or two later I received a V email that said they spoke to the hotel and the hotel refused to allow a cancellation
11. I called the hotel and they said they did not receive any calls about the situation or my reservation
12. I called the original phone number again and was told that their company name was bookaroom.com
13. I placed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau
14. My credit card has been charged for the two rooms at the exorbitant rate and fees based on the conversation
I would like to get this matter resolved, through cancellation and refund IMMEDIATELY, or an adjustment to the actual cost of $694.12 for two rooms, two nights
