Once again they fail to deliver, no one will do anything about it or look into how long it will take when I paid $268 for delivery within 4 days and it's now been over 10 days! All they say is we can look into it but it will take days to do that. I have been waiting on a chicken coop as I have chickens in a box that need the coop. I should have chosen another supplier that used a different freight company to ensure my purchase was delivered in the time specified.

Hi, I would like to complain about the service I just experienced from a Hunter Express delivery driver.
I had a mattress delivered this morning (20/07/2023) at 10.52 to 86 Brampton Drive Beaumont Hills 2155. I am currently at home and received a notification saying my package had been delivered and left in a safe place. I already thought this was odd as no one had rang our doorbell to attempt delivery.
Upon checking outside I could see the delivery driver had left my package in the middle of our front lawn right next to the foot path!
First of all why didn't someone even bother to ring my doorbell? I have cameras at the front which notifies my phone when someone is at the front door so I would know if someone had even attempted that.
Second of all, how is leaving the package in the middle of the front lawn a 'safe place'?!
This is disgusting service and pure laziness from the delivery driver. I will also be contacting Lifely to advise of the service provided by your company.
Desired outcome: I would like my shipping costs refunded to me and the driver be spoken to accordingly.
Not alone. Every package I get from a store that uses them looks like this. No choice for the customer since the store is making this choice.
3 different statuses that conflict with each other. No idea what's going on with the shipment. And the HunterExpress website has no contact links, no help, no nothing. That's a hint: When the company won't give you a way to reach them its because they would be so inundated with pissed off customers they couldn't handle it.
Lack of current position of tracking on MBP052083
Whilst I am not a company using your service I am the person who has paid the seller to ship my purchase and said seller has chosen Hunter Express.
Your tracking site provided details on tracking number MBP052083 was loaded in Sydney bound for Brisbane 30/6/23 @ 6.13pm.
Now it is 12.51pm on 5/7/23 and no further information can I obtain I have already sat home yesterday + today and yes tomorrow and if this was a normal transportation tracking site I would not have to be at your mercy and that of a faulty tracking site. Delivery and Service
It is the most worst experience I have ever had. I waited for 2 weeks for get my delivery but there's still no updates until NOW! I understand there's always a delivery delay. However, their customer service is really BAD. They are not professional and helpful at all.
The agent only repeat the same things "lodged a request to depot but not sure it will be out for delivery tomorrow" for few times and hang up my phone!

Tracking and Delivery Notifications false
Below is a screen shot some 3 hours AFTER the goods left the depot. The truck location moved to the loaction on the map within 30 minutes of despatch and then has not moved since.
Clearly the ETA time was never realistic and despite say it will be updated regularly, nothing has changed.
I changed my evenings timeline to accomodate the delivery when advised and this has cost me both time and money.
Unfortunately I was the not the one who chose to use the service. Harvey Norman engaged them and this complaint will also go to them when a strong recommendation ( after reading the complaint reviews on this site) they pull ALL their business from the company.
Desired outcome: What is the point. Hunter Express clearly do nothing about the complaint and this complaint board is powerless to do anything about it
Delivery servuce
Informed delivery would be 21/03, despite attempting to follow up failed to deliver stating no parking. I than spent the next few weeks attempting to arrange a redelivery with instructions and also a depot pick up, only to be told multiple different information. I know still don't have my item 6/4 and required it for a outing. This is unacceptable Australia post can get the job done this company a absolute joke.
Desired outcome: refund of item and services to consider not using this hunter express, the number of complaints and inaction of this company makes them a unsuitable provider that should be shut down or requested improvement action plans
Worst service delivered
The worst service I ever experienced. I paid decent money to receive the product in a good condition but received a cracked bed head. Communication was not very effective.
The worst of the worst was the delivery service provided by hunter express. My consignment number for the delivery was ATX043431. I feel like taking them to the court for the service provided. I left such a big fat note for the delivery service stating that there will be a pregnant woman at home with a small kid so please leave the parcel up to the unit. But they ignored it and left the parcel inside the main entrance door leaving without any response or consent. How a pregnant woman was supposed to carry all 96kg items inside the house?
The delivery man proudly left a note that the item was left in a secure space with our consent. This type of service makes me sick.
We paid for the job to be done.
My pregnant lady have to hire a handyman to take the item to the unit as I was not at home. The items were inside the main entrance for two days. We were lucky that the neighbors were good enough they also care about the items till she found someone who could take the items into the unit.
Now onwards I will never recommend these types of worst services and responses. I will also make sure to leave a google review for these ripoff services.
I would also like to request compensation for the worst service and for wasting my time.
Item not delivered
I called hunter express after the item said delivered on ebay but was not actually delivered.
The hunter express representative told me that the GPS coordinates said that it was delivered to a shop next door to the post office, called Harwood farm store.
So I called them and they said no, they hadn't received anything. So I call hunter express back informing that my package is lost. She then told me that the Tracking number says that the item was delivered to the post office. And signed by someone named theresa. But it was not! I went to the post office and it was never delivered there.
What is going on!? Iam am quite frustrated and need this resolved please!
Desired outcome: Reimbursement for the cost of my loss.
ACCC and ombudsman investigation
I purchased a Catrina Ceramic dining table on the 20/09/22 and since the first delivery arrived in depot on the 30/09/22, and I was notified forward delivery to my home would 2-4 business days it 40 days for 1 of 2 boxes to arrive in absolutely disgusting condition and tragically wrapped in packing tape where the box was falling apart.. after waiting a further 10 days and no delivery of 2nd box I tried to find a contact number…took lots of digging to find a customer service contact number but here the lies began, time after time over 21 days I rang, I emailed, rang and emailed to be told the same lie that one box had been scanned in but the other they couldn’t locate and would look into it…still no table top.. I start contacting fantastic furniture to eventually find out that the official excuse was that they lost a 2m long table top. I find out at day 40 the original table top was actually smashed and was returned to supplier. So fantastic furniture re-order and resend a 2nd complete dining table, done on the 20/10/22, to once again go thru the same charade yet again.. So Today after 45 days of waiting and 2 attempted deliveries of a ceramic table top.. both have now been smashed.. the first one was never delivered due to it being smashed and the 2nd one finally arrived today 4/11/22 at 11:30am to my home (only after an email at 7:32am) regarding delivery.. I wasn’t home due to Drs appts but the delivery was captured on security footage and my daughter was home at the time, the driver never knocked on the door, and leant the 2m table against the wall and took a picture and practically ran off in a hurry.. The table top delivered today once we opened it found it was smashed on one corner and all the glass shattered to the floor and a crack is evident across the table which deems it unsafe and unusable. I will be making a complaint to the OMBUDSMAN AND ACCC
Abysmal and abhorrent delivery and handling. My reviews will also speak the truth on the unprofessional and incompetent employees where I have been talked over, yelled out and hung up on.. and a Business owner who has no accessible way to contact him regarding his useless customer service and delivery service operators
Stealing packages
I purchased car wrap from a company in America, it was sent a month ago and it was sent ASAP, then it was shipped to Australia and then consigned to hunter express to courier to my house, I have then been waiting and contacted the seller and they said it has been received by hunter express, so I then have contacted them and they have said they haven't even received consignment yet or any package when all avenues say they have it, the call centre was extremely rude and disrespectful, they offered no help at all and told me don't call back cause if they do receive it now they will just send it back as its not worth their time or effort which was also extremely rude as that is what their company is in this kind of business to do

We have not yet received our order, Its been 4 weeks now, AMART has used you guys have used hunter express. They are very pathetic company, Their customer service staff over the phone are very rude and have no way to track the order. Since 31st august they say my order will be delivered now, today, tomorrow. As per Amart online order its stated dispatch in 2 working days and delivered in 2-3days, still no order received. I have given clear instructions regarding the delivery. I have called you guys as well and your Agents say the same thing.

I had an awful delivery experience with Hunter Express Gold Coast. I purchased a queen bed frame. First, I had to chase up the order because it was sitting for a week past the delivery date. Second, I got a phone call out of the blue when the delivery guy was downstairs with my order. I came down and asked him to carry the huge box to the apartment in the lift but he refused. I was shocked he didn't want even to carry it to the lift! 10 meters! I insisted to carry it to the lift and explained to him that I have a medical condition (an aneurysm in my vertebral artery in the neck and I cannot carry anything more than 2 kg). He didn't care. I kept insisting so he carried the package for 10 m and left it near the lift with a very poor attitude. I said I will complain. He answered, "you can do it'. Horrible, unaustralian! This company should not be allowed to operate!

I ordered double mattress bed bdriect for my son paid $269.1 via Groupon on 24/7/22.
2 days later got an sms saying there is clearance fee to pay - feedback to Groupon it seem a very doggy purchase.
Then I was informed goods were to delivered - on process.
I saw the message from bdirect that do not leave the goods unattended to Hunter Express on the delivery instructions.
I asked my neiggbhour as I have to help my sister interstate as she has to go through operation and I baby sit her children for the week.
The delivery man claimed was delivered on 4/7/22 but did not call, sms or put any note on the arrival of the parcel.
I did not see my bed till 12/7/22 and made a complaint to Groupon but they keep direct me to this courier co - never able to contact.
Want to complain these co as scam - taking my $ but did not provide my goods so no bed for my son since July 22.

I ordered a golf buggy which was supposed to be picked up on Monday 21st march but was not picked up until Wednesday 23rd. Originally to be delivered by 24th, obviously didn't happen. We left instructions that if we were not home to leave it at rear near bbq. It was left on the front verandah in full view of anyone going past which as we are now away for 2 weeks, probably would be gone by the time we got back. Seriously not happy because they said on delivery that it was left as instructed (total lie)and if it had been pinched I guarantee they wouldn't replace it. I watched the van on CCTV and the turned around up the back, no attempt to go inside. You cannot contact them at all just recordings so no customer service at all. Definitely would not recommend at all.

There is nothing express about Hunter Express at all.
Definately would not recommend this company at all. Absolutely useless and the customer service staff are a disgrace. An item was supposed to be delivered a week ago. Called with no ETA for delivery then the next day was scanned as on board for delivery. within an hour was returned to the depot undelivered. Called again to find out why it wasn't delivered to be told it will be delivered tomorrow. The next day was still not delivered. Called again with no ETA it may be delivered next week. WHY SHOULD I PAY OVER $200 COURIER FEE FOR SOMETHING THAT CANT BE DELIVERED WITHIN A WEEK OF THE ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMEFRAME and with no help from the company I will be processing a chargeback on the payment.

Delivery of parcels
I was scheduled for a delivery today 4-12-21 from Hunter Express, AIM033692. I was home all morning and checking tracking advice.
At 1118 I received 4 quick calls in succession from the driver, I didn't answer as I was in the shower, but there was no door bell, no attendance to the property at all. At 1118 the same time as the phone calls, the status changed on tracking to "card left". I went straight out and checked the front door, mail box then checked CCTV. No one attended the property at all. I checked 15 minutes either side of 1118 and no one attended the property.
I attempted to call the driver back numerous times and sent follow on txts, no response from the driver at all.
After reading numerous reviews this common practice for this company, I believe this is to force the sender to pay extra fees while the receiver is picking up the delivery. However Hunter express doesn't actually leave cards, so this drags on.
I took a day off work today to receive this large item and this as happened. I have sent all relevant details to fare trading, I want my delivery! I also require 1 day pay from Hunter Express as this has been malicious, I am happy to send leave details and hour rate to Hunter with an invoice.
This appears to be common practice for Hunter Express and I have also informed the supplier.
