Dear sir/madam,

I mukesh ranjan, have purchased a bike model “ hero honda splendor nxg” on hire purchase agreement through icici bank ltd. having loan no.- ltdel00011142797, from hero honda authorized dealer name “upper india trading company (delhi) pvt. ltd.”, 49-c, rama road, new delhi-110 015, dated 25th july 2007. however as on date 07th december 2007 when I went for taking my r. c. (registration certificate having no. dl 1s r 1026) for the aforesaid bike the aforesaid dealer executive asked for rs.510/- (rupees five hundred ten only) as not paid by the icici bank ltd., then only we will provide you the same. as I have paying all emi through ecs from my icici bank account no.- [protected] timely and driving vehicle without registration certificate is illegal in the of law. for your further reference I am attaching the invoice copy.

Therefore kindly requesting you to do needful in this regard.

Your early action in this regard is highly appreciated.

ICICI Bank bill releted problem

I am reciving cerdit card bill from ICICI Bank continuasly as I don't have any credit card.
Initialy I was applied for the card then I have canceld it
I was never used it but still every month they are sending me bills. Even I have a talk with there executive and he mailed me that in such case they will never send me bill but yet it's continue...

the employe are doing frode work i am now deside i am ready to close my bank account i am realy very upset i am send this mail to rbi and my friends and all the bank id with in 5days

I reciced statement of July 15, 2008 and my credit card no. is [protected]. in which Rs 112.36 charged for depositing cash payment. I usualy paid cash but no payment is charged for the cash payment. If there was change in your bank
You should have innformed me by sending message to mu mobile no. which is [protected].
I am an house wife and can not efford such payments Which is charged withot intimation.
So, kindly waieve off the said amount this time in future I will pay by cheque.
If you are unable to waieve these charges I have no option left to cancell my credit card as my husband is not allowing me to coninue my card to pay such charges

I have received an SMS regarding bill payment saying "Your credit card bill of Rs. 4128.31 for card No. 4477xxxx9000 with due date IMMESIAT has benn dispatched on 24-05-08 by AWB no. L5185242. Sir I have never applied credit card and I don't use any credit card of any bank. Please make sure that in future I won't recieve any such messages.

from the last three month my wife talked with our customer care to give us waiver which they have charged without sending the bill/statement, they also comfirmed that deposite the normal we will proceed for the waiver, the march month they charged with interest 2100 approx, we cleared the minimum payment that was 475 we paid 500/- next month they charged Rs 2600approx, we didnt pay the minimum amount thought they will send the waiver statement, but again they charged interest now Rs 3000/- & THIS MONTH

WE ARE RECEIVED THE STATEMENT AFTER THE DUE DATE THIS MONTH

What going on? I am not in India.

i am holding a gold card. since 4 months i am not receiving any statements from icici. Eventhough i am paying regularly but they are charging interest late fees etc
I asked many times how they re telling calculating the amouts nothing is clear to anyone .
one person calls and tells that he is from collection department he will be having no information .
last month i have paid 22000
no statement and it seems they are charging interest latepayment etc.
how many emis are there
how much balance emis are there
how i have to pay
pl. send statements and dont charge interest.

ICICI Bank worst service ever experienced!

ICICI claims that it gives best customer service. But I came across one of the worst experience in my life. I went to Rajaji nagar Bangalore ICICI branch, in order to open an NRE account on 14th Aug'07 and submitted all the required testimonials. But even after 15 days my account not activated. When inquired they asked my overseas bank statement as overseas address proof. I was astonished of such feedback, as I would expect this to be made aware to me by the representative at the branch when I submitted the form. I again mailed original bank statement on 8th Sept'07. After continuous follow up, I was wonder struck on 22 Oct'07 when I was made aware that my account could not be activate because of the same reason as mentioned above. I took my complaint uo to level 4 (max level) but couldn't see any improvement. What I experienced in nearly 4 months with ICICI bank is that the officers are thoroughly unprofessional, very lethargic and customer service is a long forgotten story. In my company, a newly recruited office boy has more professionalism than any other so called officers of ICICI. They never work on time. Some times I wonder how it is surviving in a service based industry. I should really congratulate them for this achievement. Till today the status remains the same.

ICICI Bank fake billing

icici bank credit card no.[protected] issued in my name & its outstanding wewre cleared vide icici ch. no.060744 dt. 12-09-2007 for Rs. 1631.03 .your officers Mr. SANJEEV KATHURIA &Mr. IMRAN assured me that no further bills will be sent for fictitous surcharges . But still the bills are being received by me.If redressal can not be made my card be stopped immediately

my name is santosh srivastava and my card number is [protected] I used your abnamro gold card for last one year and I make all your payment timely and for this your bank give me lots of tension in july statement he put me a get set go offer without my permission and after requesting they can reverse but in aug statement for that get set fo offer they can put me finance charge and overlimit charge and also service tax & I already request at your Costumer care no. for 4 to 5 times and after that they can only reverse overlimit charge and I Sept statement they were charged me another time finance charged so I want to make sure that I am ur realiable costumer so u also realiable for me . Thanx

Dear Sir,

Kindly refer my credit card # [protected] and your statement dated 30.07.2008, in which i have been charged Rs.200 for cash payment on 29.06.2008 and 22.07.2008 respectively. Though you have advertised that Rs.100 will attract to cash payment i am un happy with this kind of charges. And more over this happened all of sudden while the payment was made in the counter.

When i spoke to your phone banking Officer, he said such payment is must and further i can contact the management.

Please see that if such charges can be avoided.

Atleast do not charge any late payment charges for this Rs.200/-.

Another request is that i may be provided with the list of items can be raised for my accumulated Points.

mr. amrtipal singh has done a fraud with ur icici credit card aas well personal loans

near abt 3lakh is the amount which he has owned by the benk throuhg card and personal loan service 2 yrs back but now he has changed his name identity and phone number
he is staying at the address till now with his wifes and kids
upto some extend his wife is supporting to hide his original identity
presetnly he is residing by the name rajan singh with the new driving license and pan card on this name
which he was ale to make anyhow
but whenever the court notice come over noone recevice that so that case do not get forwarded but u should do something to trap him if u ask a question to his wife thats what the proof that mr. rajan singh (the man staying with her) is her hubby she will b unable to give u any proof whatever documentation she can give u is mentioning mr amritpal singh
as well he was working in a compnay with the changed name as far i know when the last time one yr back the recovery agent visited mr amrit pal singh for recovery he said do u know that i m amrit or rajan how cna u proov that i m amrit
as the agent was not having the photo of him
so better if ur bank wanna recover ur money then u have to search out his pic in ur records and then u can trap him earlier he used to keep moustaches but now he is clean shaved
therefor i would request u to plz do the need full bcoz this man is a big fraud and fooled lot of peoples

was looking for new credit card, went to creditcard lab, next millennium mastercard was the card for me, promised results in 60 seconds! Needed proccessing fee like most do gave them money, never heard from them again!

We have not been properly informed about what the column indicating “minimum amount due” and if we keep unpaid the amount, the interest taxed on etc. So we were charged with interest abnormally in the month of December 2007 & January 2008 month bill. We also not properly informed of the Lombard. So we intended to discontinue, but you again and again charging in the account of Lombard. We do not intend to pay it because we have already discontinued 2 months back. We have already paid some amounts, which is again a loss to us, but still you want us to pay Rs.5995-30p. the head of “Lombard EMI Principal”. That we are not going to pay any way nor there is any agreement for such payment; therefore we are not bound by any contract. We also informed your office to cancel our card. We are not going to pay the interest, which you charge against the norms and guidelines of R.B.I. We are going to pay the amounts, which we used the card for any purchase of articles or commodities, but not other amounts, which not reasonable and amount borrowed from you.

ICICI Bank non receipt of ordered material

I had ordered for some books and music cds on the basis of the advertisement through my office email id: [protected]@aryacma.co.in on 22-10-07. The payment of Rs.1407/-was paid through my ICICI bank credit card. I have not received even a simple acknowledgement so fa, leave aside the package. Will you be in a position to help me please? How is that this bogus company operating under your name and logo please ?

ICICI Bank recovery amount

Dear Sir,
I transferred 2500 Rs on 3 Nov'06 to [protected] in place of my freind a/c [protected].
For recovery this amount I met to KG Marg branch yesterday they said "We cannot do any thing in this case talk to customer care person”. I called customer care person he said "We cannot do anything in this case talk to your nearest branch.
When I was in nearest branch (KG Marg counters no 1) than I called customer care person and requested to talk branch person and there was very comic seen they were quarrelling and saying this is your query this is your query.
This is a question if some accountholder makes a mistake than ICICI bank cannot do anything to rectify his mistake and this also debatable your employees know their duties and responsibilities
I am writing mail by this hope you will not say that we cannot do anything in this case
after this drama played by your department .
Please take necessary steps to back my money

ICICI Bank harassing phone calls!

I took personal loan from ICICI bank 18 month back for personal need of my family for 24 month . Since 18 months I continuing deposit my loan as per repayment schedule. In between sometime 2-3 installment has been due as my salary credit in my bank late, for that my relatives/friend deposit in cash. This month again my one installment for the month of nov.07 due. Right now I am working in dubai, and my family living in village. Nobody there who can deposit the due installment in cash. Since last 4-5 days one person who is recovery agent of ICICI bank making phone at my home to my wife for due installment. My wife given him my number and explain all the things but he again & again making phone to my wife and threatening to him. He even never call me and when I took the number from where he making the phone on that number no ring going and no body pick up the phone. For this type of activity no body can believe in banking industry. They making gundaraj to this reputed industry. There is no such a way for recover the loan, even after continue deposit the installment.

Dear Sir/Madam,

As per my conversation with you I need to bring to your attention my experience as an ICICI Bank customer.

My name is Hukam Singh, Jaipur, representative from ICICI Bank Limited Jaipur called me for Personal Loan and I filled up an application for Rs. 50, 000/- as Personal Loan from ICICI Bank before 2 year, Bank representative collect all documents required for Personal Loan, and told me that a Bankers cheque / DD of Rs. 50, 000/- as personal loan will be given to you with in 7 days.

After 15 days representatives of Bank told me on telephone that you came to branch and collect your cheque, you also bring 8 blank check because bank keep 8 cheques as a security and will returned you after completion of your loan.

I reach at Raja Park Branch and give him 8 blank cheque, after two three hours the bank representative said Credit manager went to main branch by a urgent work so you collect your cheque tomorrow. Next day he told me that your cheque of loan will given in next week because approval is pending.

After one week bank representative Mr. Pankaj told me that your approval has cancelled and I will return your documents and cheques after two three days because I am out of station.

But bank representative Mr. Pankaj have not returned my documents and cheque, after 1 year, in the month of August 2008, he called me sir, my friend is credit manager and your apply this time for loan, This time definitely we will give you loan, you give copy of your driving license and pan card and one photo.

On 10th August he came my office and said sir I will collect documents tomorrow from residence, you sign on this application form, I have signed on application form for PL of Rs. 50, 000/- and given him copy of driving license, pan card and one photo and next day has not came at my residence and within 7 days without any information Bank credited my SB account by Rs. 4, 88, 764/-. I was very surprised and told to bank representative Mr. Pankaj that bank direct credit my SB account by Rs. 4, 88, 764 in place of 50, 000/- by mistake.

I asked him for this heavy amount, the bank representative told me that bank released this fund in your account on behalf of your credit and good relations, but I don’t know, without any sanction letter, terms and conditions, without any income proof, bank credited my account by a heavy amount. I told to representative of Bank that I want to return this amount to Bank because I am not capable to pay interest of this heavy amount.

Next day I went to Bank and meet to loan manager and explained this problem, and loan manager have also told that we can’t help you because loan sanctioned and disbursed from Mumbai, so you contact after six months (means in the month of February 2009)

I meet to the branch manager, ICICI Bank, Mansarovar, Jaipur, he also told me that our Personal Loan Officer told you about this, loan office also repeat same language, bank have released the amount in your account, now before six months can not settled, you have to pay atleast six installment of Rs. 16030/- per month, after that we can close your account.

In the month of February 2009 I went in the branch and I said for close my loan account but manager said you have to pay 4, 72, 000/- + 5% closing fee ( that means around 5 lacs) Bank already withdrawal 96, 180/- from my saving bank account with in six months.

I have write many letters from August 2008 to March 2009 to Bank Officers (chairman, PL Manager, Branch Manager, CEO, Collection Manager, Credit Manager at Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Jaipur etc.) to close my personal loan, I also went in lok adalat in Jaipur in the month of February 2009 to close this PL account but have not received any response.

I explained to the Manager of ICICI Bank that I am working in an NGO, my salary is 6500 per month, residing in a rental house, how will I pay 16030 per month, please cancel my loan immediately, but bank had not listen my request.

Till dated I have not received any sanctioned letter, any terms and conditions, I don’t know what is the procedure for return the loan.

I planned that why not this amount invest in business and earn more money so that we can pay this amount with interest to bank and I have invest 4 lacs in market and lost this money. This time I am in depression of losses.

Bank representatives alternate day came at my office and residence for recover the money, many time I requested to bank that my income is 6, 500 per month I will pay this money from my income but they are doing bad behave with me and my family.

Executive of ICICI Bank doing behave with me:

1.Use ugly language with my wife and gave her mental torture.
2.Used foul and raw languages
3.Gave threats and was very abusive.
4.Taunted and tried to humiliate.
5.He was adamant and said that he will come in the night time to disturb till the time we do not pay him.

Mentioned a few words that they used, have a glance at the following utterances of that person –

1. "Jab tumhari paise wapas karne ki aukaat nahi hai to fir loan kyun lete ho"
2. "Ya to payment kar de, warna bahut tarike hain bank ke paas paise lene ke"
3. "Ek to tu payment nahi kar raha hai, aur upar se pooch rahi hai ki bank ne kil aadhar par lon diya hai".
4. ”Ham paisa dena jante hai to lena bhi jante hai”.
5 ”Tumto Kya Tumhara Bap Bhi paisa dega”

These are not the only statements that the bank executive used, but were also accompanied by an offensive and abusive behaviour and language, which is legally and ethically against the Human Rights and Indian Penal Code.

I am filing a case in this Consumer Grievances Redressal Forum Jaipur and had appealed this court to make ICICI Bank and their recovery officer and agents involved compensating me for peace and happiness. I am also filing a case in Banking Ombudsman site www.bankingombudsman.rbi.org

I am attaching a said rules released from RBI so that consumers can get awareness where to go if they are facing same traumatic tensions or experiences due to financial institutes. An appeal is also be made to President of India and PIL should also be filed in Supreme Court about the Financial Institutes or Banks like ICICI bank and collection agency who misuses power of Section 138, 420, 406 on innocent clients. As because loans are taken by peoples to improve self quality of life and not to spoil own career. Circumstances at all time do never remain the same.

However during the course of loans, paying EMI - Business, health, and services can cease or pause, Natural disasters, casualties, diseases, accident, incidents, profit and losses are beyond human controls and bank should understand it. Wise bankers should not consider every client as cheat or slave. During such situation if the client fells, Bank should cooperate and not traumatize and humiliate their customers.

In all fairness, ICICI Bank should have at least checked our credit worthiness before going on this harassment and hounding 'rampage' till we had no option but to carry out our own investigation and point out the problem your Bank.

We hope that you take note of this experience and prevent the same from occurring again.

I am fully in depression, I don’t know what I have to do. I have lost my job presently I am jobless.

I am Mr. Navinchandra V. Mehta and my Residence Phone No. is 079-[protected].

I have been getting a call 3-4 times a day in the name of Mr. Ratilal Patel from (022-[protected] and 022-[protected]). and I dont know anything about Mr. Ratilal Patel.

By making an inquiry of abovementioned two numbers, I come to know that the above two numbers belong to ICICI Bank Ltd.

In response of each and every call, we have told them that this no. is of Mr. Navinchandra V. Mehta and not of Mr. Ratilal Patel but again we receive the same call in the name of Mr. Ratilal Patel. and we have been getting lots of missed calls from these numbers since last 3-4 days. and when we are also unable to call back them and these numbers are found to be specifically made for outgoing calls.

We feel much disturbed while receeving calls from 022-[protected] and 022-[protected] and to some extent we also plan to file F.I.R. to the police station for harrasment against these two numbers.

can anybody advice us and guide us regarding this?

I think if so many people are complaining about the harrassing calls made by these agencies, why is there nobody taking heed of this. Is it because there is a lot more to look into in the system in our country and these are petty things to deal with? I think there are rules and regulations for everybody, and unless defined the collection agencies are taking things for granted, even though they know the guidelines. Somebody should look into this matter closely.

I've been getting a lot of calls from these two numbers (022-[protected] and 022-[protected]). I believe these numbers are from a collection center operating somewhere in District Thane, Mumbai. These people just don't give a chance to pick up the phone before disconnecting, and when I finally speak to them, I get the answer as, "Sir, you must have not picked up the phone, so obviously it's going to be a missed call." I think I should have at least the time to take the phone out of my pocket or from my table before it goes into a missed call log. Please, if somebody can help me, please do so. By the way, I'm visiting the loca ICICI branch here in Nagpur for my loan which is over, but still these calls are about 4-5 times per day. I've tried calling back, but it seems these numbers are alloted as only for outgoing calls.

ICICI Bank delay in disbursement of personal loan

I applied for persaonal Loan on internet on 1st November 2007.
I was told that the executive would meet me on 3rd November to collect the documents. He did not turn up till 8th November 2007 inspite of repeated follow-ups.

Now its 23rd November 2007 & no amount is credited to my account.

I have a salary account in ICICI. If this is the quality of service offered to existing customer, then I am sorry to state that the Personal Loan Department is in a pathetic state. What's the use of being an ICICI Bank cutomer then?

You proudly say in the advertisement, Hum Hain Naa...
Well, you are not there. You are not even close to being there.

My advice to you is that you should close this Personal Loan Division because you are in no control of it. If you want to continue properly, you should get rid of this lousy staff of yours.

ICICI Bank close account and credit card and now send threatning calls through advocate

Icici close our saving account while deducting money as credit card fees which we never apply, or minimum balance penalty, as they open the account with zero balance account. We never take any action whenever they deduct money. Our main fault is that we never object when they deduct money so they harass us after 2-3 years. Where are the employees of icici when they close our account without telling us. They never send us any statement from which we come to know that some amount is due with us. After such a long period they did not even send us the letter they give us a threating call through their advocate they they will issue a non bailable warrant. Is this a justice that someone did not know that he did any crime and all of a sudden he has to think about that what he can do or what he have to do to face such a problem.

In 2005 I received ICICI lombard Policies one after one on my credit card no.[protected]. After registering complaint about this, I went thru a series of telephonic discussions with various representatives from ICICI credit Card and finally they told me that my account is clear and I don't have to pay for the policies sent without my consent.
But now, in2009, when I applied for a loan in Axis Bank, I came to know that they have WRITTEN OFF the amount and reported me in CIBIL AS DEFAULTER. Now I can't get any loan from any bank until ICICI give me a CLEAN chit.
THIS IS SO UNFORTUNATE THING THAT AN INSTITUTION LIKE ICICI CHEATS AND CREATE TROUBLE FOR IT'S CUSTOMERS.
I don't know how to get the clearence from ICICI and whom to talk. Could anybody help me ?

I have been using ICICI Credit Card since 2005 & am inclined to pay the dues regularly but subject to receiving a monthly statement, which is mandatory. However despite the new technology by which the Bank can forward its statement, it has not heeded resulting in unnecessary harassment of credit card holders (SBI whose card also I am using for past 1.5 year & without any complaint, uses my E-mail, sends SMS on my mobile sufficiently in time with regard to my payment dues & regular statement reaching my doorsteps almost 15 days ahead of schedule payment). In contrast ICICI has a very poor delivery system to intimate its clients of payment dues.
I have been requesting the Bank since 2005 not to levy interest & other penalities in view of non obtention of statements at my residence at Ramprastha- Ghaziabad (from 9/05 to 3/06). I had given in writing to the executive who was sent by Bank to collect dues with xerox of statement that I shall not be making payment towards interest & other charges to the Bank & to reverse the entries but to no affect. Although I have been making payments sincerely on my actual usages, the Bank kept on charging exubirant charges at compounding rate resulting in enormous dues. Even the Bank cannot provide proof of delivery of statements for the aforesaid period & yet is charging interest & the call centers have now started giving daily calls (by differnt persons), in avery harsh & crude manner without listening to my pleas.
Since I have been a regukar payer of y dues, the interest levied during initial stage & compounded since then is not warranted & I therefore appeal to the ICICI bank to reverse the outstandings forthwith & restore my card for usage(which is now blocked but interest is still multipying), failing which I shall be left with no option but to reach out to Banking Ombudsman, Redressal committee & other means to justify my case, which may be the cause of anxiety for several other users.
I therefore implore upon you to take up my case with the Bank & arrive at an amicable decision in reversing the entire interest & charges levied till date (with which my balance should come to credit)

ICICI Bank unethical operations/worst operations

I joined with new company and opened SB A/c at ICICI bank 20 days back and my employer transfered salary to my SB account.

My employer is transacting with ICICI bank for several years (with great difficulty ) and when they transfered the amount it did not come to my account and ICICI bank immediately debited my employer account.

God knows where the amount till now and today the amount has not credited to my account. Whenever i call custome care they just say "The amount will get transfered I need to wait"

So how long I will wait.

I have seen my friends bad experiences with ICICI bank and I say they have one of the worst customer service. This is bad service on part of ICICI bank and they are calling leading bank globally, Yes they are leading globally in showcasing bad service.

One more thing they made my father to wait 4 hours in their branch to close his SB account, he was not knowing for what he has to wait. Nobody bothered to respond for aged person.

Hi,

I am a very frustrated ICICI customer.
They have huge staff - quantity - no quality.
They donot understand or try to help customers.
They make so many blunders, if it was US based bank it would have been sued many times.
Fortunately in India - banks are scott-free always.

In India, no bank cares for its customer in reality.
So this is life and accept it.

ICICI Bank no response to customer problem!

This Bank is the worst bank to deal with for Home loans. Most easy to get a loan but most difficult to exit. The customer just gets stuck with them and their irresponsible employees. If one errs in paying their EMIs then finally one starts getting Collection calls from agencies who want to know nothing except the fact that the collectible amount is due towards the bank. Their website to lodge complaints doesn't work and the quality of employees planted at call centers is pathetic. There is no approach to customer service.

REQUEST ALL FOLKS PLANNING HOME LOAN TO STAY AWAY FROM ICICI.

Please aviod ICICI bank. They are practicing unfair business practice very aggressively. These guys showed me how I can save by migrating my home loan from SBI to ICICI. I was paying 10% to SBI in 2005, ICICI was giving loan at 7% the lowest at that time. I migrated from SBI to ICICI. Today, still SBI is maintaining at 10.25%, but ICICI rate has increased to 12%. ICICI is charging highest interest in the country for it existing customer. Think, what happens when the interest rate gone up by 5% from 7 to 12. NEVER NEVER go for this bank for loans.

ICICI Bank fraud notification of icici bank credit card

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am writing this email to inform you that on my ICICI credit card [protected]) some one else has credited cash-in personal loan of 4,00,000.00 and 54000.00 without my awareness whose account number ([protected]). It goes like this, on 8th October 07, I received letter from ICICI stating that above said amount is going to be deposited to your saving account (Account number is totally different, it is not mine) as personal loan, I called the ICICI helpdesk immediately as I never requested for any such kind of loan, helpdesk agent took lot of time to understand the issue first of all and then passed me to the several other departments to gather the different information, and then later on I was assured as the saving account is not mine then they will stop the disbursement. On Personal loan letter my name, credit card number and mailing address was correct but phone no and saving account was different. So I made all necessary corrections to the credentials and closed the call.

On 12th I again received one more letter stating that 54000.00 has been credited to account ([protected]) against my credit card [protected]), I called customer care again and they assured me for investigation, and not to get panic as this saving account is not mine and they will freeze the account.

Now on 1st November I received the cash-in statement of credit card to my surprise stating about the payment plan, I called ICICI customer care again and escalated the issue to the Supervisors Gaurav Motian and Sanjog, the customer care managers, they assured me that it will be rectified ASAP with in 3 working days, This case is now handled by Sonal Garg, member of escalation team, is asking me to wait for another 2 days as she is waiting for the investigation revert, Today I went to my home branch in Noida for assistance and they suggested me to write an email to the customer.[protected]@icicibank.com and post the mails to Mr. Harshil Mehta, Nodal officer, ICICI bank limited, I am doing whatever I was suggested and waiting for their investigation now, don’t know what to do more. I am in deep depression and lost my hunger and sleep for last few weeks. My situation is the worst now as I can not bear this pressure and burden any more, it’s a immense mental agony and harassment for me. Please suggest me for God sake what to do, should I go to the police and lodge the FIR or still wait for their investigation for more findings.

NB: I have very bad experience with customer care during this situation as most of the agents could not understand the issue and asked unnecessary questions repeatedly, and above all they kept me on hold unnecessarily for quite long time and few agents transferred me to the entire department unreasonably and some agents cut the call while talking to end the call. On 1st November it took 4 hrs to escalate the issue to the right channel and dropped several times while on phone. Surprisingly they didn’t even log the case some times of calls when I checked the case history. It is sheer frustrating. I will request you to pull the recordings of my conversations and listen them if you can.

I am currently in UK and had only single International card of ICICI which I have to block due to this fraud. Neither I have enough funds to live here after this fraud.

Request you to look into this with topmost priority and do the needful to refund the amount sooner.

Hi,

I am Nehal Bhandari. I went to an ATM Machine placed in sector 22, Gurgaon for money withdrawl. I swiped my atm card and tried entering the pin number.The ATM Machine got hanged.I tried cancelling the transaction number of times but nothing happend. Then, i took Rs 6000 from the ICICI ATM placed next to it.The transaction was successful without any hassle. When came out of the ATM i got two messages.One for Rs 6000(which was genuine) and another for Rs 20, 000(which was shocking). I have not made this transaction and it was due to the atm failure.It was a fraud transaction. I want my money back. It is not done by me and i should not suffer because of the ICICI ATM mistake.Please resolve my issue within 3 days otherwise i have to make some other choices to get it done.I aspect that you will help in the problem your customer faces. Dear ICICI Bank,

I received one ICICI bank credit card three months back with 45000 credit card limit and used it for one month and received the statement with adding the yearly charges which was not intimated me while applied for the credit card. I called to customer care and informed the same and requested them to cancel the card. He was told me that they will reverse the yearly charges and asked me to use the card for one year and told me to go for the cancellation before completion of 1 year. I said okay, and still the next month statement contains the yearly charges and with extra penalty added. I called to customer care again and they have taken request and they said they will reverse all the amount which is there in my statement. They reversed the extra penalty amount but not the yearly charges. I called customer care again and told the same and they have taken the request and still they did not resolved my issue.

ICICI Bank icici are cheaters!

I applied for an ICICI Titanium credit card around mid of October 1007. The executive visited me, took all forms, photo, documents etc and told and told me that I should be getting the card in the next 2 - 3 weeks . He also told me that I will be getting a verification call, which I received too.

I got three verification calls (Yes, THREE!) to verify my details, from three different ICICI personnel, asking the same information over the next two weeks and FOUR address verification, Two in Office and TWO in Home and I had to entertain all of them with all the information and additional documents they asked for verification (It was always the same thing and they would say that if they don’t present the documents, the verification will be marked as negative)

I called ICICI last week of October and was informed that my application "cannot be found" on the system!

Finally when I called the customer care (the hellish experience on earth) I came to know that my application got rejected (god knows for whatever reasons).

Whenever somebody tries to call icici bank and you will get many options. Upon selecting one option, you will get much more options and the process continues. By the time you speak to some human being (after selecting all unwanted options) you would have spent 10 - 15 mins wasting your phone call.

After all these drama, I came to know the result of my application. First of all, the executives who come to us makes vague promises telling that we are eligible for the card and promise 101 things. The actual truth is, these cheaters get an incentive for "every application form" filled, from the customers, whether the applicants get the card or not.

Wonder how they got to be No. 1 in credit cards.

I had exactly the same experience. What's more I had got the invitation from the bank itself, not from some bank-agent, who may do such things for commissions.

Same thing, 4/5 verification calls, every call 15-20 minutes. Finally when I got pissed off and said that I have changed my mind and no longer wish to apply for the card, the executive coolly says sorry and says he'll do the honors not to dispatch the card. God knows, if they declared me unfit for their credit cards.

That was for gold credit card, now I get Titanium card offer.

ICICI Bank personal loan fraud!

I have applied for personal loan in Vashi branch & submitted all the documents to the officer. For first time they put my application for cancellation for Some document that I needed to submit. Then after I submitted that document they have given me new reference no. After some day status of that new reference no. was also showing as "cancel" & that is also for similar reason, which was showing for previous reference no. The customer care is always created for careless talking on phone with customers, so the customer care executive told me to wait for 2 days or apply in some other bank for loan. I asked him that what is the exact reason for the cancellation of my loan & he told me that the exact reason for loan cancellation is not told to anyone as it is always confidential.

After facing this much of trouble I believe & request to all of u my friends pls never ever apply in ICICI Bank for any kind of loan. As they never care for their customers. Its only brand but having no values for the customer.

When I applied for personal loan, ICICI people told that ther eis no processiong fee for our company.But when they approved loan they deducted processing fee. At that time I asked them to take bank loan amt as i am not interested in loan if processing fee is there. At that time they told that they are going to adjust that amt in the last EMI.But they have not adjusted and when I called customer carethe response is also bad.

I took a personal loan for 4 years term and the banking is trying to extend its term by one more year. it mens that bank is asking me to pay extra 12 EMIs. It is a clear cut cheat, cheat cheat...

This is with reference to the above subject.

I had the most harrowing experience from ICICI Home Loan Department in Borivali(W) from the customer service representative.

I went to the Borivali(W) branch around a month back to enquire about how to convert the existing home loan to the new rates and again went on 30th Jan 2010 and met with the same customer service representative but both the times she gave me different details on the schemes available for conversion and second time she even told me that there is no scheme available for conversion and she has never told me about any such scheme.She even failed to recognize me and told me that nothing can be done.

I had taken Home Loan in 2004 and my current rate is 12.75% floating, my FRR/PLR is 0.75%, so effective rate is 12%.

During my first visit, I asked the customer service representative on the process for conversion and she told me that I will have to pay 1.75%+service tax to convert my old home loan to new rates of 8.75%. I told her that this is not fair and there should be something for the existing home loans customers to convert their old rates to new ones without any charges.
She first made some faces and then told me that she can give me 8.25% fixed for 2 years and floating rate thereafter with no conversion charges if I make an Investment of INR 50, 000/- per year in ICICI Purdential's Retirement Plan with no entry and exit loads.She was very keen to sell the Investment Plan and was not bothered to listen to my problem. I told her I cannot make the investment, so she told me that I will have to pay the conversion charges.

I do not understand why ICICI Bank wants to penalize all its old customer's with such conditions and lack of transparency, why does the bank want to charge any conversion rates for customers who wish to increase their variance, why is ICICI Bank asking its representatives to sell ICICI Prudential Products to convert old home loan rates to new.

Such behavior from customer service representative of such a reputed bank baffles me completely.

I have the below requests to ICICI Bank:
1.Convert my existing Home Loan to New Home Loan rates and give me a Variance of 4% fixed for the entire tenure.
2.This conversion should be done without charging any fees.
3.I should not be asked to invest in any ICICI Prudential Plan.

I request for an early resolution to my problems.

ICICI Bank hosted my current account for a small home based firm, I lost thousands and I did not realize that they keep taking my money till yesterday when I checked in the balance was Rs.250 ? So if you maintian a penny less than 10,000 they take your whole funds away ! I am extreamly disappointed in their fraudulent banking pactices. "Hum hai Na ?" What the heck is counting charges, if you put 10,00,000 and they take away 10,000 for counting counted fresh bank notes ? For every penny you put in their account whether it is Rs.100 to whatever they have a fixed service charge of equivalent proportions ? How did these cheats get so big ? I vow to quit ICICI forever !

I have submitted the requisite documents as per ICICI's request 2 times earlier. However 25 days back they have blocked my Direct trading account. He next day I have given (ICICI employee collected) the documents in original again. After that I have been frantically calling their branch, call center and all possible contacts at ICICI without any success. I have started believing that ICICI has no concern to their customers and they are interested in getting only new entrants.

There may be any understanding or communication gap or mis understanding. I have two joint account at Ahmadabad for last three years and availing other banking services regularly. I have experience much better than other bank. I have my one account with SBI and one another in a Co operative Bank, the services of the SBI and Co operative Bank are not bad but comparing to the ICICI, SBI's services have lower standard.

ICICI Bank looting money from savings account

I am an unfortunate guy to avail a housing loan from ICICI. I am writing this letter to bring to notice of all persons who have taken a housing loan from ICICI.

ICICI housing loan department has looted money from my savings bank account three times without informing me. The demand draft what I submitted to them towards EMI Charges treated as bounce cheque and started pulling money from savings bank account.

The statement they provide to customers are all nonsense. I have taken Rs. Five lakh loan on floating interest. At the time when I took loan the interest rate was 11% for a period of 20 years (240 Installments). After that the interest reduced up to 7%.
At that time they dont reduce our EMI's They just send a statement saying your period (240 months EMI is reduced to 170 months) But We dont get any benefit. Now in their statement the period is showing as 300 Months. And over and above we got a letter saying to keep the period constant, the remaining months we have to pay extra EMI charges.

I WOULD LIKE TO BRING TO ALL ICICI HOUSING LOAN CUSTOMER PLEASE CHECK YOUR STATEMENTS

ARE YOU PAYING EXTRA MONEY AND EXTRA EMI'S.

Let us storm to MR. KV Kamath's office to STOP the Nonsenses what ICICI is doing towards the customers.

I am the seller of a property in Bangalore.

All property documents / details had been provided to buyer before loan sanction.

The buyer insisted that he would proceed with agreement only after he got it cleared through legal / technical team in ICICI. Valuation people came on Feb 25th or so. They apparently gave him the go ahead, after which we signed the sale agreement on March 1st.

The buyer has given EMI cheques and everything was supposedly ready for disbursement, with registration scheduled for April 3rd.

Now they are raising an objection due to horizontal deviation, deviation from plan and lack of setbacks

All construction in the area is similar
ICICI Bank had funded the property in 2004 and loan closed only in Jan 2010.

The loan amount approved is about Rs.20 lakhs, when purchase price is Rs.36.9 lakhs. The buyer is contributing almost 46% (Rs.16.9 lakhs). Properties in the area are sellling for Rs.40-50 lakhs. Considering that, the risk to the bank seems low.

My parents have paid an advance for another home in RT Nagar and were supposed to sign the agreement today (25th) and move this weekend (27th and 28th)

I spent almost $750 to get the PoA attested by the Indian Embassy. They asked for several documents at different points of time, but we gave them everything. They even asked for my PAN Card details, saying it was required for disbursement.

After co-operating with them completely, why are they raising this issue now?

The buyer and his wife are both employed in good companies (Fidelity and Infosys) and their down payment is quite high. Its not as if they are going to default on the loan, even if someone raises an objection later on. I am sure they will deal with it and resolve it.

Did it take them ONE MONTH to realize that there are technical deviations?

If deal falls through, who is going to compensate for all the expenses, incurred by me as well as the buyer?

I fully intend to ensure that the buyer takes up this matter in Consumer Court for compensation, since I would be deducting all my expenses + penalty from the advance payment that he has made.

ICICI Bank fraudulent act of icici

Dear Sir/Madam

This Niranjan , I have taken ICICI home loan 25,41000 on Nov 2006,I am paying Interest for home loan for the past one year ,for which I have given ABN Amro Post dated cheques.Recently I have provided 5 cheques of ABN Amro Bank for the amount of 19,201/-Rs each. For the month of august to September the amount has been deducted from the corresponding bank correctly.But for the Month of Oct amount has not been not claimed from ABN Amro ,though there was sufficient amount so I lodged a complaint regarding this 15 days back.they told that banking personnels will get back to us with in 1 day.But they didn't.

But the most worst thing is today I have checked my ICICI bank Personnel account which i have not disclosed to anybody, in which the amount 19201 has been debited.Means without informing to the customer ICICI bank officials deducted 19,201/- Rs on 26th Oct from my personnel account,which is nothing but Loan amount "LBBNG00001440383/LI SEP07-26 "(This is my loan account),and the same month check has been diposited in ABN Amro bank. How ICICI people can deduct the amount from the personal account with out informing the customer?
what is the guarentee that ICICI is giving to the customer deposited money?

ICICI Bank noc for ceding 1st mortgage in favour of nhpc ltd.

Sir,
It is submitted:

1. that A home loan amounting to Rs 15.5 lacs has been sanctioned and disbursed in the name of ARVIND KUMAR SHARMA for the purchase & construction of plot no.557, 21-B, Faridabad(India). Application No. is [protected] and LAN LBFDB00000740785
2.that I, ARVIND KUMAR SHARMA is employee of NHPC Ltd. and presently posted at Corporate office, Faridabad.
3.NHPC Ltd. has home loan facility for its employee of Rs. 7.5 lacs.
4. that those employees intrested to repay Rs7.5 lacs of loan to the concern bank may got sanction of Rs. 7.5 lacs on the production of NOC for ceding 1st mortgage in favour of NHPC Ltd.
5. that ICICI bank Ltd. and various other banks has already issued NOC to NHPC employees having loan from the concern bank for ceding 1st mortgage in favour of NHPC Ltd. and thereby said employees had got sanctioned home loan of Rs. 7.5 lacs from NHPC Ltd., which NHPC Ltd. directly releasing in the name of the bank concern and thereby bank handed over the loan documents to NHPC Ltd. with due codal formalities.
6. that a copy of NOC AND OTHER RELATED DOCUMENTS of Sh.Anish Gouraha(employee of NHPC Ltd.), AM(E), Employee No.101743N ARE ATTACHED FOR REFERENCE.
7. I have taken loan from icici bank ltd. on similer terms and condition and has been continiosly communicating with the customer care of the icicibank ltd. for issuing NOC for ceding 1st mortgage in favour of NHPC Ltd. for the want of repay of 7.5 lacs to icici bank ltd.
8. that communications recieved till date may be concluded that icici bank can not issue NOC in my case. a mail dt.17.10.07 says "We re-iterate that we are unable to provide the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for ceding 1st mortgage in favour of NHPC Ltd. as ICICI Bank has not extended services to the second charge with NHPC.
The No Objection Certificate can be issued only in case of closure of the loan."

9. that through mail, it was requested to the bank that above mention decision of the bank may kindly be communicated to me in hard copy duly signed by a authorised signatory of the bank so that observations of RBI could be obtained BUT REPLY IS -WE CAN NOT ISSUE NOC. Last reply dt.26.10.07 says "We would like to re-iterate that we will not be able to issue No Objection Certificate (NOC) for ceding 1st mortgage in favour of NHPC Ltd."

MAY KINDLY LOOK INTO THE MATTER.
COMPENSATION TO THE LOSS DUE TO DELAID ACTION MAY PLEASE ALSO BE CONSIDERED.

ICICI Bank asking a month for demat conversion of physical shares

1. Why ICICI bank representative of Dwarkanagar, Visakhapatnam, Main branch is asking for conversion of demat one month in the age of electronics ? Clarification required for the same,

2.All the links are in the network why this many durations, they are asking fro customer?

3. Customer are behaved by the representative just as like a servant in front of master, they are thinking that customers are coming to beg some thing. Brutality of the ICICI bank are not at tolerable.

4.They are subjected to behave like a gentlemen in front of every customer.

5. Can you kindly put little effort to give respect to the emotion of helpless customer with legall right as Indian citizens.
