Free trial and price query
On the 18th October I paid for a free sample for around $8.90 which I believe was US currency. As I live in NZ I accepted the conversion of currency but what I don't accept is another charge of $13.00 and it has been unexplained what this is for even though I have emailed them to ask what it's for...NO RESPONSE to date. I have also asked to Cancel all future products and subscriptions from them. I have not received my free trial of this product and there's been no communication at all regarding my emails from them. There was a time limit on this(5-7) days for delivery and the balance was to try it and decide if I wanted to keep it or return. After that period I will be charged for this of which I am worried about as I don't have this stuff and not sure what to do.

I am getting this sent to me on a regular basis I did not send consent to this and I notice money is being taken from my bank account under the name honest charge the last deduction was $191.89 out of my visa on the 30th January I cannot afford for this to continue I am going to cancel my Visa account so no more money will be going out I did not ask for this product to be sent to me regularly so please stop deducting money from my account

Unauthorised payment
I ordered a tester offer of Idrotherapy wrinkle reducer on the 16th June 2022 and the offer was was to pay just for the postage. I received the product without any paperwork, just the item. A week ago in July I received another order which I did not order and was billed for £133.88. I called them and was told under the terms and conditons I was liable for this payment. I have never received the terms and conditions. I offered to send the item back but it was refused. I had to accept 70% back which I am still waiting to appear on my credit card. I now find out this company on the 18th June has taken a further sum of £125.99. I have spoken to them again today on the UK nmbr [protected] and they have refused to refund this payment as they tell me it was part of the original FREE sample and once again I was referred to the terms and conditionsm Several times I repeated I have never received the terms and conditions but they still refuse to refund the £125.99. They eventually made an offer of 50% and then 70% which I refused and requested my money be refunded. Again and again I was quoted the terms and conditions. This is called sharpe practice and should be stopped. I have seen on Trust Pilot a number of people are having the same problem. I hope you can be of help..

Unauthorized withdrawal
I ordered the free trial for the product then I unsubscibed from the site so I would not be charged for any more, but much to my surprise there was a 32.98 charge on my card that was a no authorized On April 2nd 2022 now if they had sent the product to go along with this withdrawal I would not be so angry. But they never even sent it out. Because when I called the company they said that they could not help me due to the fact that I was unsubscibed. Ihad to contact my bank and as of todaystillno reconciliation.

I ordered the trial for 2 products from Idrotherapy. I have not received these products but Idrotheraphy has taken the follow from my credit card.

I emailed them for support as I did not receive these trial products and received an email stating that they do not handle support issues and cancellation request via email. This is in contradiction of the order confirmation email you receive when you order, which states:

I have tried to call the number they provide and it is not connected. I have clicked on the link to the live chat and you receive the below message.

I have sent several emails and still the same response.
I would appreciate you assistance for a refund of all payments before seeking legal advice.

Idrotherapy - unethical and unauthorised credit card charges
I wanted to trial only Essence of Argan in an offer made on Microsoft Edge but could not find a way to do so without accepting the Idrotherapy as well, (as above), so went ahead and accepted the 'combined' offer. I paid the respective postage amounts for each item - one was $10.01 and the other $8.68 by credit card. These amounts were put through my bank on 21.11.21. I 'saved' the emails concerning my 'trials' but neither of them was retrievable when I later went to check them. I have no idea why.
At no point did I expect the massive (to me) charges made to my credit card ($150.14) via Blue Snap on 4.12.21 and processed on 6.12.21 for one product, followed closely by another charge for the other product for $147.10. Owing to the unsuccessful attempts to get in touch with Idrotherapy I contacted my bank in regard to the charges and asked if there was a way to stop any further payments for these unwanted products. It appears that doing so would require me to make major changes in my banking arrangements. This would cause me considerable anxiety.
In addition to the above, for the products to be received by the customer, there would be a period anticipated for their delivery. This couldn't have been the case and the products were charged for, early.
I am elderly, on a flat pension, had no intention of ordering anything after the fortnight apparently given, and am now in a tenuous position financially, as well as concerned over how (if I can't contact the sellers) to make sure they don't bill me further, and to ask for the most recent charges to be refunded. To me, this is unethical, devious, dishonest. No further emails have been received from the advertising provider (apparently of both products) which makes matters even harder to resolve.
The banking information I have is that the Merchant is Blue Snap, the charges were entered as:

on my credit account.

Please read the policy first before ordering online. Was aware enough with the terms and condition, now, I'm enjoying my argan oil with a big discounted price. Very easy to deal with and product were really great.

I received anti-wrinkle cream plus a bottle of Essence of Argan oil which I didnt order
had to pay a packaging fee of under 20 euro

and on the 24/4/19 €110.94 also has been debit, which I didnt authorised

I was duped by this company offering a free sample of Argan Oil & all I had to pay was the postage ( which was excessive; actually twice the price that I paid sending two orders back to Australia).
I immediately got another email saying I had also signed up for a skin cream as well.
After two weeks the samples arrived. Then a week later they took $340 NZ from my credit card. I phoned to complain & they justified the theft by stating I had agreed to the terms on the online advert ( which I haven't been able to find online since).
They agreed to cancel my subscription. Before I could return the snake oil & gloop they took another $350 & delivered another order . I then returned all of the product they had delivered to me( untouched) & they agreed to refund me. Today they emailed me to say they would only be refunding $200NZ despite taking over $700 NZ from my credit card.
Obviously I have cancelled my credit card & will be avoiding trial offers from now on.
The dubious down right dishonest business methods of this company speaks volumes for the lack of integrity of the products in the first place. How do these people sleep at night ? Shame !
I agree with Steph, was aware enough that my account will be billed for monthly supply once I failed to cancel. Luckily, product did great so I don't need to cancel. They gave me BIG discount for each, and even gave me a free gift. I'm very satisfied.
At first I thought it was a scam First thing I did was call my bank and they told me that it is a legit company. I called them and they kindly extended my trial period . It arrived, I tried it and it actually works! Fine lines lightened in just over 2 weeks. It feels so light as a cream and I love the results. I can even wear it da and night, even under my make up. It's perfect and after 2 months subscription, they enrolled me for the 70% discount. It's perfect!
You must be careful ordering online. Was aware enough to read the policy and now I'm satisfied with result the product gave me and they even gave a discounted price for each. Very easy to deal with.

I responded to a Facebook ad for Essence of Argan Oil with the offer of a free trial if i paid the postage. As I went through the trial ordering process I was offered a 'free' trial of this irdotherapy product as well and told it was needed to go with the oil in order for the wrinkle free effect to work. I paid for the postage using my credit card. The trial products both arrived with two pieces of paper - one for each product giving a local phone number and directions to use the product and how wonderful it is, with more links to liking them on social media. There was no reminder or mention of Terms and Conditions - NO reference to future transactions being made of that the Trial only lasted for 15 days. By the end of the month both Essence of Argan and Irdotherapy had charged my credit card over $300 AUD. The phone number provided for AUS is silent for over a minute and then kicks into an overseas, poor reception call centre. Essence of Argan refused to give me a refund due to fine print in the terms and conditions which were never evident in the Facebook ad. Idrotherapy's terms and conditions says they will keep sending more product. I never got the additional product.

They take money out of your credit card without authority. Their products and service are terrible. There is a huge scam page on them in America. I wished I had checked that beforehand. I am in debt hundreds of dollars for a product that one burned my skin and the rest I did not find work. They claim I did not cancel which is so wrong. I cancelled two days after use of the idrotherapy. I believed the girl cancelled it and also cancelled the argun. It was NOT DONE. The company is not interested in refunding they are only interested in getting money for worthless products one of which is very harmful if you have a sensitive skin. Warning they only deal in call centres so you have no paper trail

Requested samples - suppose to cost nothing. In terms and conditions its says you have to return in 16 days from the day of request. I'm located in Australia, by the time the samples are sent and received and you actually get to trial them. You are unable to send them back to the company within the 16 day time frame.
I rang and cancelled with them and the still took unauthorized money out of my account. Not once but 3 times!

Bought on Facebook. At no stage did I see that it was a 14 day trail purchase! The product arrived & I was far too busy with life stuff. In the paperwork inside package It never referred to a 14 day trail. Paperwork did not say that I must contact them to cancel my subscription. As I thought I was just buying two products! Boy was I mistaken. On day 15. I was charged $150 nz. On my credit card that I really can't afford at this time due to also putting down a dog! Am so disappointed. This is a Scam. Even if they argue I should have read the fine print! This 14 day contract clause needs to be made more obvious and so much clearer!

I got caught big time to the tune of nearly $800.00 my stupid mistake.
Consumers beware this is what happened to me, I saw the add free sample and applied thinking it would be nice for my wife to try, so I put her email address.
It all started from there we went to Thailand for a months holiday knowing that when we returned the sample would be there.
However because I was on holiday I didn't check my bank account like I would if I am at home.
On the third week I checked my account to see all these payments have gone out to the time of nearly $800
I tried for two days in Thailand to get through to a NZ number and could not get through in the end I had to ask my office manager to help me and try to get through and cancel the the order.
BIg mistake I did not know by accepting the sample product would be shipped every month.
Lesson in life I did not receive the product I have paid for, you can send it back for a refund but it's high risk.
I stopped my credit card and never deal with this company again.

7th February 2019, there has been an unauthorised deduciton fo $153.66 on my credit card.
I did buy a trial product, but did not agree to continued deductions! Today I have found that there is a deduction on my credit card which I did not agree to.

I ordered a free trial, it was for 9.95. Free ?. Oh but of course I had to give my debit card number for postage and packaging. So nothing about this was free from the start. Anyway I received nothing, and coming up to Christmas I forgot about it. Then January 10 came along, Idrotherapy took €142.00 from my account, before I Caught my breath, Idrotherapy took another €132 from my account. I'm so upset. This is so much money to me. I still never received whatever this Nightmare product is. I have spent days on the phone with my bank trying to get refunded, advised them I have been scammed. I did try to contact Idrotherapy, But of course the Irish phone number cannot be reached, as in please check the number and dial again.

Lisa Wilkerson of PROJECT Channel 10 was promotion about free product on the above only being charged posting and handling. I at no time was aware of any authorised trial or transaction that i had to let them know about. My visa Dispute V1-23473 number. I had my Visa card cut up and this matter investergated by Newcastle permanent bank. They said that i had agreed to free trial and because i never cancelled it i was charged the full price. I did not know it was a trial as I've lost my husband. I thought it was a free sample that i was getting of both products. I only get pension, my husband has not long passed away. And now i have been told that my case is closed. I threw the products away bcause i thought it was not good using that product when don't really know what's in it. I was frightened as whether to use it or not so threw it away. I am now $317 out of pocket out of my pension which at no time did it say i would be charged that amount. I would never agree to something that expensive out of my pension. They said had to notify you and cancel it. I havnt got Visa card now. I agreed to a 'free 'trial sample and agreed to pay the p&h of about $30 as the 2 items came in 2 separate packages.. No paperwork... Then 2 weeks later a single item arrived. No paperwork on checking my bank account I see I have been billed irregularly for irregular amounts adding to $600.+ no contact no paperwork. I admit I was persuaded by the use of lisa wilkinson to try this but certainly did not know about returning the product... There were no terms listed when I ordered and I have only just read them now. I am annoyed I didn't check that account every day! I want my money back..
