iKeyless These people are crooks

These people are crooks. I called after reading terrible reviews first thing monday after a sunday night purchase. I was told that my order was canceled and that I would get a refund by end of business on monday 10/24/11 Called on Wednesday 10/26/11 talked to Jason who sent me a confirmation cancellation email and said the refund would happen that day. It is now Friday 10/28/11 still no refund. Emailed them yesterday left message today. What will it take to get my money backs from these people. Horrible customer service had to mention the Attorney General for them to agree to cancel the order and return my money. I guess that is my next contact. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE VERY VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

iKeyless Condition of items, no customer service

Countless reviews and warnings online should verify this, but ikeyless is an untrustworthy business. They should have had their license to operate as a business revoked long ago.

I placed an order with ikeyless for three remotes. The order totaled more than $190. They debited my account immediately. I decided to add a fourth item to my order and emailed less than five minutes after placing the order to see if the item could be added to my parcel. I was informed that this was not possible, as the item had already shipped. So I stupidly placed the second order and paid the $5 extra shipping.

After a week and a half of NO word from the company, having now spent over $200 there, I began emailing the customer service address. I received no response. Ever. I finally received my packages a few days ago - two weeks after ordering and paying for them.

The transponder key for my Toyota 4runner is a generic, knockoff key. The remotes are old, very used and dirty. I am not at all satisfied with the items and want to return them for a full refund.

The problem is that apparently no one bothers to answer ikeyless' telephone number or customer service email address. I have called many times, emailed several times, and am still waiting on a response.

I'm now to the point of blogging, tweeting, reporting, and contacting my bank to dispute the payment. This company is shady at best, but there is no 'best' when dealing with crooks like this. These people give internet businesses a bad name.

Buyer beware - it's worth it to research your vendor and take note of what people are saying. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM IKEYLESS. You WILL regret it.

Since posting this complaint, I checked into reporting this company with the BBB in Louisville and found their local number. If you're having problems, call this number, as it's the only one they'll answer.

I spoke to Amanda, the operator, who directed me to Jeremy - I believe he said he was the sales manager. At any rate, he said that he was emailing a shipping label and would refund my account as soon as he received the items.

I will be adding a signature required feature to this package and will update this complaint as soon as the issue is resolved.

Lesson to whomever is struggling with shady businesses - KEEP DIGGING. Keep going until you get an answer. I blog, tweet, and report on Google, here, and to the BBB, because I believe that people should be able to trust businesses they deal with.

I have had so many problems with Ikeyless that it has become a nightmare. Their web site is not up to date, they say the items are in stock but are not. I ordered a 4 key remote 3 weeks ago, finally canclled that & ordered a 3 key remote, speaking on the phone with a respresentive by the name of Stephanie, she SAID the item was in stock and would ship out via Priority mail & send me a tracking number for it, of course I have yet to receive the tracking order.
Don't order from this company. IF IF I receive a used, or lousey part then I will also contact the Attorney General, the BBB & take legal action.
Just beware-----service is lousey.

iKeyless used,damaged and non functional product

I ordered a Keyless remote for my 2008 Honda Element from Ikeyless. They told me it would be a new remote and easily programmable. I received a very used, beat up and non-functioning piece of crap that looks like it was stolen from some Valet Parking Garage and sent here (see attached Photos). The remote also came with a dead battery. I replaced the battery and still could not get the remote to work. I brought it to My Honda dealer today and they could not get it to work. Honda told me it is also the wrong remote for this car (although it looks exactly alike.) I spoke to Ikeyless several times and they were totally non-responsive and evasive. I lost approximately fifty dollars. This is the biggest scam in the book. I am convinced that they buy or steal used broken remotes and sell them to unsuspecting consumers. Do not do business with these people under any circumstances. I Just bought a remote for my sons Altima from Keylessremotes .com and they sent me a brand new new working unit. Please beware Ikeyless.com is a major ripoff artist.

You are truely full of S@*T. Your products are either stolen or bought in Junk yards. They are beyond beat up and worthless. Your customer service and way of handling complaints is useless and evasive at best. Dont try to save your face here A_hole. Here is a good sample of the "new" remotes your company promised me when I bought them (See Photos). I hope you go out of business.

iKeyless used key fob sold as new

I bought a key fob for my prius. When it arrived it was clearly a used key fob. There was no marketing or pricing of the fob as a used product. When I called customer service they claimed that their disclaimer at the end of the online purchase states the product may be used if quantities are limited. I have never bought a product that was marketed as new and not differentially priced as used. A bait and switch!

iKeyless HORRIBLE shipping

I placed an order for a key fob, and 2 un cut keys for my Durango on April 12, 2011. They say on their home page, "same day shipping" blah blah. So if it's same day, or even next day I should have AT LEAST received my order within 5 business days. I gave it 2 weeks then I started to get suspicious like is this website legit.. did I just give my money away?! I finally called their customer service and they reassured me it was in the mail, and I should receive it soon. I FINALLY received it April 29th, 14 business days later. I would be fine with getting it 14 business days later if the company didn't say on their home page "same day" shipping.
If my product was going to take so long to get to me, I think I should have at least received an email explaining the delay.
One pro about all of it, the items are in GREAT condition.
I will not be buying from ikeyless again, though.

iKeyless This is the worst customer service that I have received

I bought 2 blank keys that ikeyless advertized as a factory keys worth $35.00. I keyless sent basic blanks that you can get at any store .. I took the blank keys to a locksmith 15 miles away, and he told me that they sent the wrong blanks. I Then took the keys to the Chevy dealer and was informed also that the blank keys were wrong and will Not work with the car. I have emailed them 5 times, they have tried to say that it’s me and I am not taking the key to the right place to be cut so I then tried to call with no luck, 3 times on hold with a wait time of 10 to 18 min just to get a message or no answer. I have no recourse but to just send back the keys ( without a authorization number because they won’t give one), and file a report with the credit card and the BBB. I have been shopping on line for over 10 years and This is the worst customer service that I have received. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS WEB SIGHT. They will rip you off!

Horrible customer service. Waited for days for a manager to call and then was hung up on when I called back. Do NOT do business with these people.

I placed an order for a transmitter for a 1997 Acura CL within the time frame for same day shipment with expected arrival in 2 to 5 days. After 7 days I started trying to contact iKeyless. Supposedly they were off line every time I logged on to the website. I emailed repeatedly and called repeatedly with no response. Only after I wrote a very unfavorable review did Amanda email me. After several email exchanges, she finally provided me with a tracking number. On day 10 I was told the order was shipped to South Florida instead of Georgia. 3 more days and I received the order. NO one told me nor was it explained on the website that I was buying an old, used, scratched up transmitter. Amanda said they did not have any new transmitters for my model Acura. She offered an in-store credit if I paid to have the item shipped back. I followed the directions sent with the transmitter to the letter, ;the transmitter would not work. A friend of mine who is a locksmith used the directions included from iKeyless and could not program it. I took it to the Acura dealer who has serviced this car since it was purchased. They tried repeatedly to program the transmitter without success. They told me the transmitter was no good. Their exact words were, "this is a useless piece of s*h*I*t!" I emailed Amanda with this information and now no one will return any of my emails or phone calls. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They are a fraud! I am now out nearly $70. By the way, a brand new transmitter ordered through the Acura dealer was only $95 and that included shipping and programming and I had it in 2 days.

iKeyless Scam!

I ordered a subaru keyless entry remote (2-button) model : SUB 051 (49.95) and a key finder ($24.95) model KEY FINDER 01.
The key finder broke a week after I received it; the spring inside send parts flying through the entire room. The entry remote could not be programmed according to the instructions, so I persisted as advised in the instructions. It seemed weird that their instructions would both provide programming instructions and at the same time tell you to try again if it didn't work. After over a month trying repeatedly in the freezing weather whenever I had some free time after work or before taking my kids to school, I finally contacted ikeyless via email to ask for a refund for the exploding key finder and the bunk entry remote, but they curtly replied that they only had a 30-day policy.
It sounds like a scam to me!
Save your hard earned money, and if you lose your remote entry, go to the dealer. It'll cost a bit more, but you'll be done in a lot less time and you'll save yourself the frustration of losing money to a bunch of fly-by-night hillbillies from Kentucky.

I ordered key fob 3 weeks ago, no key fob and I an unable to get in contact with company, e-mails ignored and no one answering phones. BEWARE!

iKeyless scame

This is a long review but the gist is that THESE GUYS ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND SCAMMERS, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

I ordered a $95 electronic key, for which they charged $5 shipping. They provided me with a tracking link, which never showed any records of shipment. After 10 days of wait I contacted their online live customer support, and talked to a guy named Brian. He blamed USPS for loosing the package somewhere, apologized for it, and told me that he will ship me out another key asap with priority shipment.
Well it turned out that he was a big fat liar. Again after waiting 5-6 days with no updates from the store, I contacted the customer support again. This time talked to a guy called Cody Smith. He told me that the person before me did not ship another package or took any action. This guy also apologized profoundly and said that he will ship me a new key that day itself through Priority shipping. This time he did provide me with a USPS tracking number. But, that tracking number never got updated beyond "Electronic Shipping Info Received" for 6 days. I contacted the same guy again, and he also then blamed USPS for loosing the package and swearing that he shipped out the product personally. I have ordered a zillion things online till date, quite a few of which came through USPS, and have never experienced the postal service loosing a package, let alone twice. So here I am 24 days after ordering a product, charged for it upfront, and nothing in hand. so, I am launching a Frauds Claim with my Credit card company.
I am pretty sure the 4-5 star ratings here are also put up by the company's own people.. BEWARE.. Save yourself time, money and agony, and don't order anything through these guys.

iKeyless Replacement Car Keys

I ordered key shells for my 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser. The original Toyota keys, between two, lasted about eight years.

The two iKeyless replacements lasted about six months. The plastic is worthless. They case just disintegrated with little or no use.

When contacted, iKeyless wouldn't do anything without a return of the keys (which were ground to fit my car). When I explained that the keys were not repairable, they said tough luck.

Do yourself a favor. Buy replacement keys from someone else.

iKeyless scam

I bought a remote for my car from this company and they sent me a scratched up remote, probably bought of Ebay for $15. They sold it to me for $100. The instructions were not complete either so I couldn't get it to work..

Do not buy from this company, they are a total scam. They probably buy their stuff of Ebay for much less and re-sell it to you for 3-5 times the price they bought it for.

They do not answer my emails or my phone calls. I'm in the middle of the claim procedure with my bank.

DO NOT BUY!

You can try and "help" people on this board, doesn't take away the fact that you iKeyless.com is STILL sending USED, rusty, beat up, very far from new products to customers.

Why don't you email back the people that try to contact you and only respond on this board to try and shape up the countless scam reports that are on this website.

People like you should be thrown in prison with the keys thrown away !

I had an issue with a flip key I bought, and instead of doing their part to fix the mistake, they just slapped a band-aid on a bullet wound. I already paid to try to get their key programmed and didn't find out until later that it shipped without the transponder chip. To fix the situation, they just sent me a new chip instead of trying to do a partial refund like I asked.

Ordered remote for Subaru, said it was shipped, and in fact it never was, they don't even have one. Said I supposed to get a "sorry" email, bull$#*! it never came. Don't use these idiots.

This is a complete, utter rip off! The item is not new: the "unlock" button had wear, and upon opening the remote for inspection, they put tinfoil behind the buttons. They obviously try to "fix" broken ones and sell them as new. Scam

OMG... had only I read these complaints before placing an order for a Transmitter for a 1997 Acura CL 2.2, I would NEVER have trusted this company. You can expect a couple of glitches, a couple of human errors, but this number of complaints regarding poor quality merchandise and poor quality customer service cannot be written off as normal operating standards. It has been a week since I ordered the transmitter and I have not received the merchandise yet. I am not able to track shipment. I am not able to reach anyone by telephone. I am not able to receive an email response to my inquiries. Other than the original confirmation of order email and of course a debit to my credit card account, I have had no further correspondence from iKeyless.com. I smell a huge rat here!

I order a keyless remote for my Honda Accord . They assured me it would be very easy to program. This was not the case as I followed the instructions provided very closely and it did not work. The company was not available for technical support when I called them and I am now having to go to the dealer to see if they well be able to program the remote which means I may end up paying more than if I had gone to dealer in the first place. I feel I got scammed! DO NOT buy from this company. I should of researched the posted complaints first before ordering from this company.

The owner of this company is Mark Lanwher who also owns Cash4Remotes.com. That is where he gets his junk remotes. Old scratched, junk remotes that he sells to the unsuspecting buyer as new or refurbished. If you were unlucky enough to purchase one of his pieces of junk file a complaint with the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov. It is one way to get slimy operators like this fined and possibly closed.

This company is nothing but a big scam - DO NOT USE! - Finally received my key fob after waiting over a month. It is scratched, dented and in much worse shape than the one I was going to replace! BUYER BEWARE! The merchandise you get is something that probably came from a junk yard and cost them $1.00 or less. I wish I had read the reviews before using this Kentucky scam company.

I placed my order January 3rd. theey said theey ship thee same day. After 3 weeks of waiting I had received notheing. I called about 5 times starting at 9 am (when theey say theey open). called every hour, left messages, tried to send an email, tried thee online chat. Got no responses. Finally, 3 days later i get an email saying it is in back order! Worst customer service I have ever experienced! And when theey ship it, theey wont email you a tracking number. Its February 12the and just now did i talk to a new person theat was nice and is helping me out. Even theough after theey finally mailed it out and it was undeliverable to my address according to thee post office, theey hadn't made an effort to help until my being so persistent on finding out where my order is. after all theese comments. I am scared to see what it is theat i will receive.

I fully agree to each and everyone of these comments. I placed the order over three weeks ago. I have made over five calls and emails. I received no email stating that anything was backordered. The customer service is very rude and neglectful. Everything is always somebody else's problem. I'm still waiting for my full refund! I will never order from them again. Or tell anybody to use their services!

Unfortunately I too had a bad experience. I ordered a Toyota smartkey on Aug 7. I was promptly sent an order confirmation. August 17th I complained via email the key had not arrived and asked for a status. Several days later the smartkey arrives with a postmark of August 17th. Unfortunately the product was defective. After multiple phone calls and emails trying to exchange the product I realized my efforts were futile and a return was the only option. The email with instruction for the return arrived promptly - the only timely activity since the original charge on my credit card. Perhaps crediting my account for the return will not be such a hassle. One can hope...
