My Daughter was registered with Intec early this year to do her Adult Matric. The exams were in May and we sent a deregistration request to Intec College on the 18th of May as she would no longer be needing the services. On the 22nd of May the same request was sent to the Finance department (Lungani Mdletshe) after a lengthy call who advise that they would flag it on their system so that payment is no longer deducted.
In August I learned that Intec is flagging me at the credit bureau for nonpayment. I called the college, and they requested again that I send through the deregistration mail which was sent on the 24th of August. I than called and spoke to Sibongile Basela and requested the turnaround time for my query and she informed me that there's NO turnaround time, they will provide feedback once management has met and made a decision on my request. Whilst I wait for management to make a decision, I'm currently being flagged every month, I'm currently in a process of getting vehicle finance I cannot not be approved for because of Intec college. When I call and request to speak to management there is no one available and the Agent cannot assist.
Desired outcome: For the college to issue a letter confirming that I don't owe them anything so my vehicle finance continues and be finalised as soon as possible.
