I went to Jack Hanania Chevrolet to buy a car and I gotta say, it was a pretty good experience
I went to Jack Hanania Chevrolet to buy a car and I gotta say, it was a pretty good experience. The staff was nice and helpful, and they didn't try to push me into buying something I didn't want. The dealership itself was clean and well-maintained, which was a nice change from some other places I've been to.
The salesperson I worked with, let's call him Bob, was really knowledgeable about the cars and answered all my questions without making me feel dumb. He showed me a few different options and let me test drive them to see which one I liked best. I ended up finding a car that I really liked and Bob helped me through the whole buying process.
The financing department was a bit slow, but that's to be expected at a busy dealership. They got me a good interest rate and explained all the paperwork to me, so I felt comfortable signing everything. Overall, I'm happy with my experience at Jack Hanania Chevrolet and would recommend them to others looking for a new car.
My car got fixed at this dealership
My car got fixed at this dealership. They called me and gave me a price of around $800 for the repairs. They said they fixed it, so I paid the whole amount. But when I got my car back, it still didn't work and had the same problems as before. They told me I needed more repairs, which would cost an extra $1300. I complained to the manager and told him that they didn't fix my car for the original price we agreed on. He said he could lower the extra cost to $1000. So now, instead of the original $800, I have to pay $1800, and they won't give me back the $800 I paid for a job they didn't finish.
On 12-14-22, I bought a used Cadiliac Escalade from Jack Hanania Chevrolet
On 12-14-22, I bought a used Cadiliac Escalade from Jack Hanania Chevrolet. I gave them 11k as a down payment and had the car with me until 01-4-23. Unfortunately, the car broke down shortly after I purchased it. I contacted them and they sent a tow truck the next day. However, they informed me that they wouldn't be investing any money into fixing it and the deal was off. They did refund my down payment, but they didn't reimburse me for the rental car I had been using since the purchase, nor the money I put down on the vehicle.
To my surprise, when I did a VIN check, I discovered that on 12-8-22, just a few days before they sold it to me, the vehicle had a report stating that it needed a new engine. It seems they were aware of this issue, yet they still sold it to me without disclosing any problems. They simply walked away from the deal without any concern. The manager, Dan, was quite rude, and Jack himself never returned my calls. They never even offered to put me in another vehicle, even though I mentioned that I would be interested in a Yukon they had available.

Over half a year ago, I purchased a 2019 Camaro SS from a local Chevrolet dealer
Over half a year ago, I purchased a 2019 Camaro SS from a local Chevrolet dealer. The engine had pre-existing issues, necessitating a complete replacement prior to purchase. Recently, I noticed creaking noises when turning. After relocating, I took the car to another dealer for inspection. They found missing bolts from the engine cradle, a loose steering shaft bolt, and an engine harness chafing against the steering shaft due to improper initial servicing. The repair and rental car cost me about $1k. When I contacted the original dealer, they denied responsibility. I'm seeking reimbursement for the expenses incurred due to their oversight. Included are my rental and repair receipts.

I bought a car on 9/21, but the very next day, on 9/22, I discovered some major issues with it. There was a big dent in the passenger side wheel well, a gash in the front, and the windshield wasn't properly sealed. None of these problems were disclosed to me when I made the purchase. I immediately informed the person who sold me the car about these issues. He then brought another sales manager, who said that *** wasn't available, but assured me that he would call me the next day to arrange for the repairs. I expressed my discomfort with relying solely on their word. However, they reassured me that they would take care of it. I saw both of them go inside the building and laugh. The next day, I didn't receive a call until around 1pm from ***, who once again promised to make things right. He said he needed to talk to his collision department and would call me back. It's now Oct. 7th, and I haven't heard from them since.
I'm currently in Florida for 'bout 6 months
I'm currently in Florida for 'bout 6 months. My car broke down and I needed a new one. So, I decided to buy a used 2013 Dodge Caravan with 79k miles from this dealer. I paid with cash, card, and a personal check. Oops, I forgot to sign the check. The dealer called me to come in and sign it. Before I went, I noticed that the roof had some serious rust damage that I didn't see at first. I took the van back to the dealer to show them. They said they didn't notice the damage and promised to find me another vehicle.
Later on, during another visit to the dealership, they showed me a van that was a year newer but had about 30k more miles on it. It was all dented, scratched, and the interior was worn out. The driver's seat even had a little tear. On top of that, they wanted me to pay extra sales tax and dealer fees again. I got really mad and started raising my voice. I refused to accept the van they proposed. Eventually, they agreed to fix the roof and gave me a 2021 Chevy Trax as a loaner car.
I left the van at the dealership on February 15th. I don't remember the exact date in March, but I called the dealer. I spoke to ***, the salesman, and he told me they had trouble finding a roof. ***, the sales manager, was now handling the situation. But I haven't heard anything from the dealer since then.
On March 18th, I went to the dealer in the morning, but the salesman and sales manager weren't there. So, I talked to the folks at the collision and body shop. The manager told me that the van couldn't be fixed because it had already been fixed in the past. She also mentioned that the sales team knew about this for weeks. She said she would talk to the sales department, but I haven't heard anything from them yet. I have pictures of the damage, though.
