I have purchased 3-4 pair of Men's Arizona Blue Jeans in the past 6 months. Each pair have since started ripping out around the rear pockets. One pair has completely tore out from the rear pocket to the bottom . I'm not pleased with the quality of these jeans and as a result should receive compensation! There only has been normal wear to these Jeans and they are of normal fit to my body.. The denim material used for these Jeans are of sub-standard quality.

Regarding order #[protected] Order places 07/17/2018
I had ordered this recliner, as noted, on the 17th. On July 23rd I discovered it was on sale with the price being $136.00 lower. I promptly called your customer service. They essentially refused to do a price adjustment, repeatedly saying I had already used a coupon and could not use a second one. I, repeatedly stated, that I had not taken possession of the chair nor had it shipped so why couldn't they exchange "coupons" thus allowing me the lower price. They continued to refuse. I got the same answer from the Supervisor. She suggested I "refuse" the chair when it's delivered. I had to point out to her that I'd still be responsible for the $125.00 delivery fee. Her reply, "oh yea". This went on for awhile w/her stating she would "email " the distribution center and call me the following day. As of today, I have yet to hear from anyone.
I find this whole experience to be extremely upsetting. Where is the customer loyalty? If there is not a positive resolution from your company, the recliner will be the last time I buy from you.

A cashier named "Olivia" was very rude to me when I declined to open a JC Penney credit card. I repeatedly explained to her twice that I don't shop at the store frequently. When I was ready to make a payment, Olivia was asking for my Social Security number. I did not give her my number. Her tone of voice was very disrespectful there was no need of her to ask for my social.
I do not know her reasoning, but it made it sound like she was assuming I wasn't from the country and perhaps she thought I didn't own a credit card because I did not have documents such a SS number?
After I told her stores never ask for it, she tried to brush it off and pretending she couldn't hear my response.
It's irritating her assuming I was international when I'm not.
This was the worst experience I encountered at JC Penney last evening July 24th around 9pm. Other stores have never demand to give them my Social security number before making a purchase payment.

I received my order in a box that was open on the top & the bottom! When I picked it up off my porch, all of the contents fell out the bottom! There was also no packing slip, so I had to print the order confirmation email & check line-by-line if any items were missing from that ridiculous box! I've attached pictures on the top & bottom of the box prior to me opening it. Yes, these are pictures before I opened it.
I placed an online order on July 18th. Two days later I received an email that my order has shipped. I tracked the order to find it has shipped via UPS. I tracked that number to find that it doesn't exist. Contacted customer service, who in turn transferred me to a manager. I was informed that my item was being held for pick up by UPS and would ship soon and be delivered on the 30th of July. Twelve days to ship one small box? I informed the manager that I wanted my order or my money refunded. She informed me that I had to wait until after July 30th before any action can be taken.
This is all BS. Very poor business. It's no wonder that JC Penny is going downhill. This will be my last time purchasing from them.

I was just a customer in thejc penny store in grand forks nd. I purchased $125.16 worth of clothing items. I asked for the coupon discount that was being advertised for friday, Saturday & Sunday (30-50% off) & was told they ran out of coupons! I drove 45 miles to shop & was told that! Why do you advertise & then don't fufill it! I could have stayed home and saved milage & time and ordered off Amazon with free delivery!

I was in sephora and asked the associate if I could get a discount by returning items I just bought and using the credit card I was approved for in jcpenney. The associate told me that was against sephora policy, but I insisted she double check. She called the manager of jcpenneys, ed. He was very rude to the associate and berated her in front of me for even asking him. I spoke up and told him she told me, but I asked her to double check. He just persisted and told her she should have read and not called him, and she clearly doesn't know the policies. I felt bad for her since I was the one who asked her to check though she was clear in the policy. This man does not need to be in management. He has no customer service skills and is a poor leader.

I have darker hair and I came in to do a lighter ombré type deal. I showed the stylist a picture she glanced at it and said she could do it. Well instead I walked out with organge and white hair with black roots. (July192018) I agreed to come back the next day so she could fix it.(July202018) I asked just to take it back to my normal color. She tried but I still have orange spots. My hair is completely fried. Completely unstyleable. Unsaveable. The manager (Troy) was aware and told me it didn't look that bad at this point I was crying so hard I couldn't even speak so I had to leave. Maybe they could've fixed it, had I stayed to listen but after two tries my hair is completely fried doesn't even feel like hair. I could take no more. I wish I would have taken photos of before and after but emotional so damaged I just couldnt.

My mom ordered me a couple items, which did not fit, so I went to return them at North Star Mall. My plan was to get a gift card and pour the money right back into some other items, which I did, but I will say that the man who helped me was incredibly rude. His name is Robert. When I requested the gift card, he rolled his eyes at me and then basically told me to wait rudely while he did it. I remained calm and tried to be pleasant, but the experience was horrible. I've never had such a terrible experience at JcPennys, especially when I was there to spend money.

Been to J C Penny to return product. Blew me off

Upon multiple visits to JC penny store Matthews where I did purchase the manager Lynn helped me to claim to insurance. Mean while for the rewards I was told that rewards will be added once we start paying. Finally Sunday 7/15/18 the rewards dept said they can't see any rewards. I went to Store where Lynn helped me getting it fixed. He had to call 2-4 people to take care of my rewards point which they said were expiring the same day! Lynn told me they will add 5 points on Tue and 5 on Wed& told me to call rewards dept.on Wed 7/18/18 to make sure they added. When I called Ashley did not see any but she added 5 point & told me to call on Thurs. When I called today nobody (Caroline, Tara, Brittney)was willing to help me. Deloris was rude, hanged up the phone. The Store never picked up the phone. Lynn helped me solve the problem. Lynn is always great, willing to help, great customer service. But I may not do shopping at JC penny in future from my experience with JCP 800 # & store phone system. Please give a reward to Lynn to get customer back to Matthews location. Hope 800 #s get some trainings.

Me and a friend was shopping at jc penny in lawton ok . and the workers swormed us . asked if i needed help i said no thank you. I continued to try my clothes on . they didnt fit . then i proceeded to askthe 3 woman in red who are watching me that i need help finding the woman shoes because i didnt have my perscription glasses on, an they looked at us dumb . And didn't tell me or show me where they was.. Then we went outside, to our car, and a security came out trying to take pictures of my license plate. I have money to buy everything in the store, they didnt have to treat us as if we are theives.

History: Hard to find suitable, reasonably priced clothes due to body shape, size, ease of use/wear, comfort & material sensitivity. Local, rural store rarely stocks plus size clothing that fits my needs/wants. Returning unsuitable purchases is such a hassle & frustrating, despite store efforts to make returns easier. Also, customer location seems it may be a big factor in obtaining sales prices before sales stock is sold out, due to a time difference between when the ad is placed in the east coast and when customers normally wake up in the western states.
I turned to JCP online & finally found pants that APPEAR to fit my needs/wants, and on sale. Regularly $50, on sale for $14.99. IF these pants would meet my needs/wants, I planned to buy more, even if at regular price if I couldn't find them on sale. The RIGHT pants are the goal. I placed my order, received a confirmation & an estimated delivery date. Over half way through the delivery time, I received a cancellation notice from JCP. My 1st call to JCP Customer Service gave me hope that JCP could possibly meet my needs if I were to call back in about a week & if the pants were back in stock. My 2nd call to JCP Customer Service was unsatisfactory in that it dashed 99.95% of my hope that JCP is willing to actually help it's customers 'remain' it's customers. Being that JCP does not obtain sufficient quantity of merchandise to meet high demand, especially in underserved areas, it SHOULD offer the same discounted prices to customers that tried to order during the sale, whenever the merchandise does come in. And JCP must make every reasonable effort to obtain that inventory for those customers. Otherwise, why should I, or anyone, remain a JCP customer?

I booked an appointment July 3rd at your Jcp salon in Andalusia Al location my stylist was Tyran. I had a certain I requested prior to booking I provided a picture and for a certain style which I was told he could do. My hair was medium length near my shoulder. I requested for a short style with color extension. I'm so disgusted my hair looks horrible like my five year old played with her doll and chopped all her hair off. It's no where near what I ask for. Now I'm have to find someone else to fix my hair. I attached a photo style requested I didn't take pictures of the hair afterwards I'm sure your company has access to security video to see.

Summited my order and hours later I was sent a e mail to pick up part of my order at the store. I would like to be compensated for my time and expenses of having to drive to the store, park my car, walk to the store, and let me add I'm 66 years and my health is not that good. The clothing products was to come to my home and that did not happen with part of the order.

I visited the jc penny at the meadows mall in Las Vegas today and the supervisor Donna was very rude acting like I was going to steal something just cause I had nurmerous bags from other stores and one was breaking and they rufused to give us a bag even though we were going to purchase a couple items. I was looking for shoes at the Apple Blossom JC Penney in Winchester Va. I came across a beautiful shoe on clearance for $10.97. When the cashier rang up the shoes she told me they were $36. I showed her the clearance tag on the shoe box for $10.97. The young lady called for a manager, and when the lady came over she looked at the screen and said the shoe is $36. Not friendly, Not apologetic but asked if I wanted to buy the shoes for that price? I said no, I was expecting to pay what was on the box. The manager just shook her head to say No. I asked if she would honor the price since someone obviously had priced it that way. You can clearly see the ticket was not tampered with and the cameras in the store would show no such thing. She said no, someone must have switched the ticket. I felt like she was making an insinuation. She told the cashier to take the clearance sticker off the box. I stood there in silence for a few, trying to wrap my head at this disregard to me as a customer. The manager didn't make eye contact or ask if there was anything else she could do to try and rectify the situation. She just ignored my presence. I believe the manager name was Deb (not for sure of this). She never apologized, she looked annoyed that I was even there. Very unprofessional. The cashier did apologize to me. I shop here often and never had an experience like this before. I usually love going to this store. I was shopping for shoes for a wedding and this was such a disappointing experience.

I had my 3 small granddaughters with me today at the Enid, Oklahoma JC Penneys store. When we approached a cashier she advised us to go to the jewelry dept. to be checked out. All the time glaring at my granddaughters. My granddaughters are 6 and twins that are 1 1/2 years old. Yes they can get silly during shopping but they are small children. Her attitude sucked. We went to the jewelry dept. and there was no body there. I saw a young man walking around and asked if he worked there, he said he did. I asked if he could check us out. After rolling his eyes and groaning some he finally got to the cash register. He also was rude. I know this is probably not his goal in life but it is your job for now. I usually do not have patience for rude people, especially toward my grand children. Then as we walked out of the store the first rude lady was checking someone else out. She again glared at my granddaughters. Mind you this store had maybe 6 people in it including the workers. Now I can see why. I use to like shopping at JC Penneys but now will go out of my way to shop somewhere else. Even if it means spending more money.

Today I had the extreme bad luck of being checked out by an associate named Margaret #0047 in the women's department.
I have never Never been treated as rudely as she did. She was not just rude, she was Mean. Mean! I do not mean to sound like a child and say that it is not fair but she was over the top.
Everyone has a bad day and that is understandable. I nor anyone else expects nice from everyone they interact with but at least a little politeness.
She never greated me at the desk, I had to ask her if she was checking people out.
She huffed and rolled her eyes at me. Denied me a rightful coupon that the supervisor behind her said was correct. Threw my shoes on the counter. I asked the supervisor behind her a question and Margaret Leaned into my face and told me while Glaring that she did not need any help.
I know when there is a complaint against a employee usually the course of action is retraining them.
No training can fix what is broken or never been in this woman. She was horrible.
Watch your security video. She should be fired. The supervisor Chased me down as I was leaving and told me to call tomorrow morning to speak to a general manager.

I just bought a bra yesterday for my daughter, now mind you JCPenneys isnt close to me. She put it on today and it is ripped. I am not too happy about this, because it's a big inconvenience to me. 7/8/18-Went to Columbia Mall's JC Penney to try on and hopefully, purchase a bathing suit. After trying on several, I became discouraged and began to put on my street clothes. As I was zipping my jean skirt, I noticed a smiling male peeping at me from under the dressing room door. I grabbed the door and followed this 8 or 9 yr old Indian male to his female counterpart and yelled, "this boy is looking at me from under the door while I'm dressing!" She apologized and pulled the boy to her waistline. I was pissed. I buttoned my skirt and left the dressing room. On my way out of the women's department, I approached a manager and told her of my experience and I left the store. I am appalled! I have 2 sons-17 and 20 and I assure you, this has never happened while shopping, otherwise, we would be put out of the store!. I have lost my faith in JC penney, child rearing in general and putting myself in a dressing room alone. Maybe I should shop with a teenager who can bop little idiots in the face who want to participate in a peep show, starring Me!
