I would never pay for online advice. I checked my account today and see $46 has been charged to my bank account by this place. I call and the rude woman would not refund my money. She said she would cancel it, but no way give a refund. I really don't know how this membership would happen unless I was tricked.
Desired outcome: Refund
My Visa is being charged for the 3rd time for a one time service
The first charge was on my Visa dated January16 2021 and again on February 17 2021 and again on March 17th 2021.
I am willing to pay the January fee as I used it. I will not pay February and March.
TD Visa has been alerted and they consider these charges to be fraudulent. They have me to try and resolve this issue with Just Answer. If it is not promptly dealt with TD Visa will take action
Desired outcome: Refund of 66.00 for February and March 2021
Unauthorized credit card charges by Tech-support *justanswr 0808-168-4692 (45 EUR, already three times (30/1, 2/03, and 30/03
When checking our last VISA bank statement we noticed two withdawels, 45 EUR each, by TECH-SUPPORT*JUSTANSWR [protected] (see attachement). A similar withdrawel was found on a prior statement. We never subscribed to Justanswer. We can only guess Justanswer is making abuse of our search for on-line help, when we were installing a new HP laptop and transferring our Microsoft account.
Desired outcome: Stop withrawels, refund of 3 x 45 EUR = 135 EUR
this is a total scam
I only wanted the 7 day charge and told them to cancel and they charged my credit card $34.00 on 4-4-21 to my account. My second call on 4-6-21 to cancel this the girl kept saying she couldn't hear me and hung up on me. The next person I got Clarissa told me she couldn't help me because I didn't cancel which I did. I want a refund for $34.00 which was charged to my account on 4-4-21. I was unhappy with my initial contact which billed my account for $5.00 on 3-12-21. They were unable to help at that time. Why would I allow my card to be charged a second time when I was unhappy with my first call. I want my account refunded. I am contacting my bank to claim this charge as a fraud which it is. If this is the way you do business your company is definitely a scam.
Desired outcome: I want my account refunded for $34.00 which was not agreed to.
Dishwasher repair
logged on and gave credit card info. Took about 15 minutes for a "tech" to come on. What ensued was mostly a morning wasted trying to get an answer to my problem. The first guy could only keep asking me if I had checked the power supply; about three times. Each time he would ask a question I would answer and wait 10-15 minutes to hear back from him. Finally he completely disappeared and another "tech" came on asking me once again about my power situation and telling me that my answers did not show up on his end of the chat. I don't think they have anyone qualified to give answers on appliance problems. Also, each one is trying to converse with multiple customers at the same time making it a very slow process. Wasted time and money.
Tech Support and Membership Charges
On March 24, 2021 I was having trouble with my computer, not able to get on the internet after having uninstalled a driver. I asked for assistance and got a message from JustAnswer. I was told I could get help for $5.00, which I paid. That advice did not work so I was told the technician could do more if I paid $39, which I did, but we never connected to get the direct service. I had to take my computer in to a tech company. I requested a refund of the $39 and received a text from NikolayK222 stating that I would receive a refund. That has not happened. In addition I was charged $46 for a membership that I do not want or need. I'm requesting cancellation of the membership fee and refund of the tech charge.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. It was paid through PayPal.
Desired outcome: Refund of all charges.
Charging my credit card monthly.
About two months ago I was having sound issues with my V65 Vizio TV. I signed up for $1 and asked one question on-line. They keep billing me! I got one marginally helpful answer. I found and resolved the issue myself. This is a predatory business practice!
Desired outcome: Credit my card on file $46.00
unauthorized credit card charges
In August 2018 I asked a question relating to German taxation. I paid HK$ 460 in advance prior to submitting this question. I received a one sentence answer and need clarification. In order to get the clarification I had to subscribe to a 1 week 'free' trial. I did not provide my credit card details for this trial. I received another very brief answer.
The credit card is predominantly used by my wife. In December 2020 I noticed an ominous pending charge of 460 HK$ on the creditcard 'JustAns*'. I then remembered having used 'Justanswer' 2 years earlier. Only way to get in touch was to call the costumer service departmant in the US to learn that I had subscribed to 'JustAnswer', chosen rate: Unlimited, charge HK$460 per months. I want to reiterate at this point that the initial charge to my question of HK$ 460 was paid in advance of asking the question!
After many conversations with various customer service representatives and submitting a from for refund I was granted a 12 months reimbursement.
I did agree to a 1 week free trial in 2018 (having already paid for my question) and did not agree to entering a 'unlimited membership'. I am also not aware that I provided my Credit card details in order to obtain this service, the details were taken from my previous payment.
No agreement was signed in order to execute a subscription of significant cost, no contract was formally submitted by JustAnswer to verify this subscription. The subscription is null and void and my creditcard details were used without consent. I request a full refund of the remaining period from August 2018 to December 2019.
Yours faithfully
Desired outcome: Reimbursement of 'membership fees' from August 2018 to December 2019. Total amount HK$ 7,360.
Scamming money
Your company has been taking $29 out of my credit card since December 2020. I should have known better than to trust your services. Unless you arrange to reimburse me, I will see to it others know about my experience.
Desired outcome: REIMBURSEMENT
Billing
On my VISA I was charged: TECH-REVIEW *JUSTANSWR - [protected], CA $46.00
I thought this was going to cost me $1 for a trial. I asked a question and never received an answer. Now you want $37 to delete my account. I do not have an account. My email is: [protected]@gmail.com.
Why do I feel like I have been scammed? I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran and do not deserve this.
Take me off you list (and I do not want to pay for that).

unauthorized credit card charge
I used this service at an introductory fee cost of $1.00, asked a question, sort of got the answer, possibly intended to get back when ready to perhaps activate with more questions. I thought it may be a helpful business I may need for many items in the future. Today my credit card account was charged $46.00 without my authorization or approval. I would be very careful with these guys, count your fingers etc...we don't like shady dealings, "Oh you didn't know", watch out here...
Desired outcome: Charge to credit card to be zero, deleted...
Unethical Behavior/Rude
I was having a problem with my Printer last night. The JustAnswer Technician wanted $39.00 to remotely look at my labtop to trouble shoot the problem. I felt the problem could have been corrected in other ways than accessing my labtop and paying the additional fee. The Technician refused to help me because I refused to pay the additional fee. I did ask him to transfer me to another technician. He refused. I called Customer Service. The Customer Service person promised to transfer me to another Technician (last night) after we finished talking. It never happened. After the phone call and waiting to be connected to another technician, I gave the Customer Service person high marks in a survey, because I thought the situation was handled. It was not handled. I still have not been contacted by anyone. I used JustAnswer in previous years and was satisfied with the service. Now the service is a service of corruption. What happened?
Desired outcome: I would like to have my printer issue resolved.
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Services never received.
I requested a fix to my issue with a AVS system and they did not respond.
Advised me to check with the manufacture.
Since I was charged for additional services and there was not any clear notification that this was an on going service and that there is a monthly fee.
I had sent them an email stating that they did not answer the original question so stop sending me information about how they did. Do not continue to follow up and stop all services, as it was becoming more spam mail that results. I received a cc statement showing that they charged me for a reoccurring service. Called them and asked to have this cancelled and refunded.
1) did not get any service that met the expectation or results
2) received multiple emails asking how they did to the point on annoyance
3) continued to get billed for services they never provided.
Good luck to them but buyer beware.
Desired outcome: Refund of the post billing of services. I willing to pay for the original request.

JUSTANSWER *TECH HELP [protected] USA
I initially contacted Just Answer Tech Help on 26 Feb 2021 for an answer about my computer. I gladly paid the $1:03 trial money in the hope I would have my problem answered. That didn't happen and I ended up solving my own problem.
So when the review comments came up I just said I didn't need any more help as I had solved my own problem. The reviews kept coming which annoyed me immensely as it was totally unnecessary to keep answering the same question over and over again so I sent the lot to SPAM and deleted it.
Now I find a charge of $67.98 has been made to my credit card when I thought I had cancelled the subscription as I received NO service and NO help.
Have I become the subject of a rip off scam. Give me my money back!
Desired outcome: Refund of $67:98 to my credit card.

I placed an inquirery to Just Answer regarding a problem I was having with
programming a spread sheet using Microsoft Excel. I did not receive a satisfactory solution to my problem and within one week, I cancelled the service. I was assured that the application would be cancelled and that they were sorry that they could not help.
I have since been receiving regular charges against my credit card for a subscription of 'Home Repair ' which I have no need for nor did I subscribe to this service.
The charges are for $66.00 on a regular basis.

Desired outcome: Refund
Expert 877 604; bendigo bank unauthorized withdrawal attempt.
About a week ago I contacted a Justanswer expert.com re divorce information, I typed in my query and got the standard answer which I was happy, then the helpline assistant came on and I explained my request to her and she replied that she sort it out but I never heard from her again. The next day I received an email from their office explaining the answer I had got previously again and asked if I would like to talk to a solicitor and that it would cost me extra money above the $8.00 for the information I had already paid for, I declined. The next day again I was contacted and again I declined. Each day the contacted me asking me the same until I threatened to complain to the ACCC. To-day I was going to transfer some money from my account and noticed the Justanswer Expert 877 604 has a pending withdrawal amount of $70.21 from my debit card which I did not authorize. John R Braund [protected]@hotmail.com +63 [protected] I called my bank to try to cancel their thieving from me the bank said they would dispute the transaction then cancel my card and I would have to apply for a new one only it takes them months to send a new one overseas to the Philippines. Can you please assist. The expert calls himself John Melis PO box29045 San Francisco CA94129 last contact 26/2/2021

I want a $28 refund, an apology and a promise to change their deceptive ways.
Online looking for answers relative to the afib I had been experiencing, Just Answer popped up with a $5 trial. I accepted and got a reasonable $5 answer.
Then repeatable they kept sending me emails trying to get me to talk with the doctor I some more. I kept telling them "No" I don't want to talk any more for any more money. It happened at least three times or more to the point I just ignored them. That was 1/21/21. Sunday 2/28/21 I discovered a $28 withdrawal from my debit account and searching my trashed emails from Just answer I found one dated 1/25/21 - four days after my uncomfortable experience getting Just Answer off my back that I must have just thrown in the trash unopened when I saw who it was from. This email said that if I did nothing they would sign me up for a $28 account with them. That has got to be fraud or elder abuse or something criminal. I know it is just $28 but I live on $785 a month and every unexpected bit hurts.
Just Answer did cancel the fraudulent account but refused to give me a refund. They are a creepy sign of the times.
