Kaspersky Lab activation problem

I have recently purchased a 3 user version of kaspersky. 1st activation on my desktop was successful, but when i tried to activate on my laptop it says

" local time on your computer differs from the time on the activation server. In order to continue the activation correct your local time"

Right now if i try with the key it says " no of activations using this code is exceeded"

I have sent several requests by emailto zoomgroup which is responsible for sales and technical support in this region to rectify my problem, but there is no answer.
Their phone is 24 x 7 engaged or there is nobody to respond.

When i contact the kaspersky head office they will ask me to contact the local office, but there is nobody to respond.
Please don't sell this kind of products which offers only head ache to the customers after paying the money.

I purchased Kaspersky Pure 2012 from Best Buy and I had problems installing and getting it to work (I bought it to replace Kaspersky Internet Security 2011). When I installed the program and entered the activation code i got a code accepted window but when I tried to use the program to scan my computer I got a message that I need to give an activation code. Then I get a little message that I need to reinstall the software. I reinstalled, plugged in the activation code, code accepted but I get the same problem when trying to scan. I installed the program 3 times but I probably used up my 3 computer limit on the first installation. Another problem was the virtual keyboard I could get it opened but I could not make any entries the keyboard ended up being a decorative window with no function except to annoy me (annoy is really putting it lightly). I contacted the support people several times and every fix they gave me didn't work. Any fix they gave me was so different from what was on my computer. They told me to do a test and send the test results to them is a certain way but there was no way that it could be done. Talking to the Kaspersky support people is like having a Frenchman teach you how to read but the book is written in Russian. I was told that I could get a refund if I sent them my info and copies of the activation code and my receipt within 14 days of purchase. I hope they send me my refund or I'll be back here with more stories to tell.

I paid for a fairly basic kaspersky cover for the year [protected] over the internet. My order no was stated on the downloaded invoice, date ordered and cost £54.99 total. The activation code was copied very carefully, but each time I try to enter it I'm told it is incorrect! I am disgusted that you can buy this over the internet and get such a lousy result. I am an OAP and as such am unable to afford to go OUT and buy one; why should I when I've already paid - through the nose it seems - for something I'm unable to use?

Yes, and their customer support is exceptionally bad. I waited in line for an hour, 3 days in a row listening to a phone message stating that I was call number x in line and that my call would be answered in 1 minute - the cue barely even moved in that time - they obviously were not answering calls - 2 people ahead of me gave up and hung up in an hour, so I moved up in the cue by 2 before I also gave up and hung up! Then, at the phone message's suggestion, I left a message for a call back - which DIDN'T HAPPEN - they never returned my call. Then in desparation I e-mailed them, received a message that stated that a keyfile would be attached - it was NOT. Sent a further message stating it was not and FINALLY received the keyfile - on the FIFTH day of continual complaint, after wasting hours of my time, and attempts to get a solution. FIVE DAYS my computer was UNPROTECTED WHILE THEY STUFFED AROUND not bothering to answer their phone, INCOMPETENTLY answering e-mails and evidently not caring at all that my computer was at risk every time I attempted to contact them.

I WILL NEVER BUY INTERNET SECURITY FROM THEM AGAIN. THEY TOTALLY SUCK!

Kaspersky Lab non-working product/no customer support

I purchased Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2010 in Nov. '09. Had initial problems completing the transaction with Digital River/Element 5/Kaspersky that very day and should have heard teh bells go off. I did not and completed the purchase. It has been a worthless and regretable experience since. I have had to hire computer technicians on tow occasions. they have completely removed and reinstalled the program. Kaspersky keeps "losing" my key. The problem begins with a "blacklist is corrupted" window which suggests that I open Kaspersky and click the "fix it" button. At this point the error window appears saying that Kaspersky cannot find my user key and that the license dows not exist.

I have attempted to solicit "customer servic e" from Kaspersky for resolvin g this issue. I call a toll free line, stay non hold for 10 minues (each time) then briefly speak with a "customer service tech" who promptly says they will email me instructions with the fix. After having done this now three times-each time having to send them information with which they do nothing, I have determined that Kaspersky DOES NOT CARE. They have my money and my computer is unprotected with no resolution in sight.

Kaspersky Lab new virus identifying delay

Hello,
I found a new virus, the executable file name is System.exe (364KB ), i got it from my colleague Flash drive.
I sent it to Kaspersky newvirus service, but until the date ( 10 day passed ) no results - no database update.
I am surprised with there service, i had definitely different opinion about the company!

I am sure that is is a virus cause i deliberately ran it on a virtual machine and monitored the registry and here's what i found ( i am not an expert in identifying virus, so the information is not full):
1- The virus copy's (fake Lsass.exe ) to Application Data ( attribute : Hidden System file )
2- Insert's a new value to the Registry ( HKLC ------------------------Run) pointing to the previously mentioned file
3- when systems restarts, you will find in the Task Manager two lsass.exe process one under system and the second under your name.

any body interested i can send him a copy of the file to check ( [protected]@mail.ru )

After I purchased antivirus software on 29th April 2017 my card details were hacked where as online purchasing is always secure. After the last purchase someone is using my card and has spent more than 10000 rs without my permission.Kaspersky being antivirus site is not secure then how can we expect to save our computer from virus. This is the worst experience i had with online purchase because I thought this would be the safest site but I was wrong.

Kaspersky Lab key blocked

I bought a digital download of Kaspersky Internet Security for 3 PC's in December of 09. I activated it on two PC's so far and on January 29 2010 I received a "Key Blocked" message. I contacted Kaspersky and they referred me to esoftwaredoctor since they cannot resolve issues from non certified digital download sellers. I contacted esoftwaredoctor and i have not received any reply. So I searched the web and saw many complaints about this company. This company is a scam and should be hit with a major lawsuit imo. It also says in my order confirmation to contact live help if I need assistance. I could not find live help anywhere. Do not buy from this website. It is cheap, but it is a scam.

I too fell victim to the clowns at Kaspersky Labs as well.. In 2009 I purchased a disk . In 2010 i DID A DIGITAL download from their site. the up grade was for two years therefor taking my through 2012.. I was billed through Digital River. At the end of 2010 my computer had a catastrophic failure. All of the computer techs. t spoke with suggested to me that it well could have been a horrible internet attack.
I ended up getting a new computer and no longer had the anti virus program loaded. I had kept all communications records receipts, passwords account information concerning this transaction. After many attempts to navigate the cumbersome kaspersky site I kept getting blocked by wrong password then no account message .I had them send me the password I was correct all along. Then I got the blocked the key message. After going through all of their do loops on the site I was able to send a message for help to a tech, the response was that I needed to order the disk and wait 7 to 14 days for delivery. I then followed the link and followed the instructions and was still blocked by their site. It would allow me to purchase the entire product again. I refuse to believe that they could not upload my computer from their site as they already had an account user pass word and an active key a digital download for the two year agreement and. OH yes and my purchase of their product. I am forwarding this exact complaint to the Better Business Bureau and a CC.of the same to Kaspersky If I may, suggest any further complaints do the same

I already sent a complaint but it doesn't seem to have gone through. I have been ripped off by Kaspersky and then requested a refund and they are ignoring all attempts at communication. I can relate to the people who have had bad experiences with Kaspersky. I'm now wondering if they are going to use our complaints to somehow try to sabotage our data because clearly they are not trustworthy and give other online service providers a bad name. It is fraudulent and criminal what they are doing. They take your money but don't give you the product and service that you have paid for. It is appalling. I think everyone who has a similar complaint against them should come together and sue the pants off them. I thought I was the only one but clearly they have a culture of ripping people off. I even purchased a back-up CD but they also ignore all inquiries about where this disk is. I have pursued this for 4 weeks now. I have no anti-virus protection as a result of it and am wary of purchasing another one in case I have a similar experience. I want my money back and I will never ever use Kaspersky again and make sure everyone I know doesn't either. It's a complete scam!

I just wanted to add that the exact same thing happened to me. I purchased Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 from esoftwaredoctor.com on 11/25/09, and my key was blocked as of 1/29/10, just like the rest of us. I called kaspersky and they said that since I purchased the key from esoftwaredoctor.com that I had to take it up with them. I have the email confirmation with the invoice number of my purchase that has that link to the "online chat support", and I discovered just like the rest of us that its a link to nowhere. I called my credit card company and they are officially disputing the charge right now. I think the best thing any of us can do is go to the better business bureau and voice an official complaint about this company. They seem to be protecting themselves by conducting their purchases through paypal. I know someone on here mentioned that you can't dispute a purchase on paypal after 45 days. Even so, that doesn't mean you can sell bogus activation keys for computer software. This is the second message board I've been to. I was on another site similar to this one where people described how they bought Norton software from esoftwaredoctor.com and the same thing happened...they're activation keys didn't work, when they tried to contact the website, no one contacted them, the same smoke and mirrors game. I guess there's a lesson to be learned here...if a deal is too good to be true, it probably is. We'll get them though.

I bought the same and paid through Pay Pal. I was not getting my product so I contacted Pay Pal. They started a dispute and all of a sudden I received my Product code to download, so I cancelled my Pay Pal dispute. On January 29, 2010 my key was blocked also. Something should be done, this company is a scam.

I also fell for it. And I paid by credit card and they sent me an email that it was paid through pay pal! I bought in 12/09 and sure enough 1/29/10 the key was blocked. When I look at Kaspersky, they have my registration as October 12th 09!
However Kaspersky is a difficult company to get ahold of. So not sure what to do. But I will be checking my credit card statements.!

Kaspersky Lab charged for unordered product

On 1/18/2010 I received an alert from the bank that issued one of my credit cards of a possible issue with this card. I called the bank and informed them that I had never ordered anything from Kaspersky and this charge was definitely bogus. The bank deactivated this card and will be issuing me a new one with a new number. It was a charge from Kaspersky for anti virus software which I had not ordered. Further, The next day, 1/19/2010 I received software in the mail from them. I called Kaspersky to complain, informed them what happened and to cancel the charge. They offered no explanation but promised to cancel the charge. I see I am not the only one subjected to this scam. Deal with this oufit at your own risk.

I have just discovered unauthorized charges on my checking account today 10/28/09 for yesterday. There were two charges for the same day of $87.75 each. Both were for DRI*KASPERSKY.COM and orderfind.com. I have used my debit card before online but it has been a few months ago. I am trying to contact Kaspersky by phone now ( I am on hold with them). I have alerted my bank and am disputing the charges. Don't really know alot yet. If anyone figures out how to get results please post it. Good luck to all.

I just had to do the same thing with my chase debit card an hour ago - I just happened to check my account and a charge of $86.35 ( dri*kaspersky.com orderfind.co mn) pending - I spoke to a woman at chase and cannot do anything about it until the charge posts - probably tomorrow. After looking into it further and seeing all the fraudulent charges that have happened to people I called chase back & was advised to cancel my card.

I am very disheartened by all this - My account is one that what little child support I get & $50 from my paycheck go into each week. I use this for groceries and odds & ends that we need. Good thing I grocery shopped already!

I am still trying to figure out how they got the info -unless they did somehow breach chase's info - I almost never use this card online - and all recent purchases have been at the store and with the exception of today's subway purchase I swipe my card through the reader at the register and enter my pin - I thought I have been being careful and mindful in how I use my card - I don't know - maybe not

Kaspersky Lab fraudulent charges

On November 28 our Visa Credit Card was charged TWICE for $119.95 by DRI*KASPERSKY.COM. This was a fraudulent charge in that we did not order anything from this company. We did not notice this charge until reviewing the latest charges on-line (we hadn't received our monthly statement yet). When reviewing the statement, I noticed that our account had been CREDITED twice in the same amount on 12/14. On calling the bank, they yawned and said that DRI is a widely used billing service, which had obviously made a mistake, such as by incorrectly entering numbers, realized their error, and made the credit to rectify it. On reviewing all the complaints about this company, we are very uneasy about these charges, even though they were reversed. We are working on cancelling our card to have a new one issued.

On 11/26/09, I was sent an E-mail saying (and I'm going from memory) something about getting a refund for my Kaspersky purchase. They, for some reason had my e-mail address, and some woman's name, Jennifer Naranjo. My wife found this and was pissed, that I bought some woman anti-virus software. As I dug deeper into it, I found it was obviously a phishing site, asking the card info for the card I "Bought" it with. If you put anything in there, I'm sure it would have robbed me blind. Now, a year later, I'm getting renewal notices for the same software. Don't suppose any of you assumed your spouse or someone bought it, and entered your card numbers that way?

Yes, cancel your card and get a new one. I got the charge from this same company for $49.95. Then a $100. 2 charges of $25 and a $50 charge from Gamestop. I didn't authorize any of those charges. I reported it to my credit card, close that number and they will be sending me an affidavit to investigate and credit back those charges. I've been reading around and we are not alone. Other people are having the same problem, starting with the kaspersky charge. Honestly, I don't know how these people are stealing the credit card numbers. The lock on top the page is not secure anymore. Never use your debit card (bank account) over the internet. Use a credit card that has virtual numbers or pay with Paypal.

Kaspersky Lab unreliable product

I can remember hearing that this was one of the best internet security suites. Like heck!
Has started deactivating it's own protection following product updates. Yes, before you ask, mine is a legit 3 user copy. A current ongoing issue the forum says. Update to 2010 version it says, except that version apparently has the same issues. For an security product this is unforgivable!
Don't touch this product. I will not again

Kaspersky Lab fraud

On 12/2/2009 there appeared on my bank statement two charges made to Kaspersky.com. I had never heard of this company. On 12/4/2009, I received two CD's from that company. I haven't opened the CD envelopes. I have informed my bank that this is a fraudulent charge. However, what good was this for any scam artist. They had my name, address, and debit card number. I was charged a price that Kaspersky received, and I received 2 products I had not ordered. On the same day these charges appeared on my statement, 4 other charges were made for some games from other game sites. They are easy to determine as frauds, but this Kaspersky thing is very strange. I see that other people have had the same thing happen to them with this company. By the way, Kaspersky does not have a phone number that will let you talk to a human being.

I used the trial version of Kaspersky's Internet Security and liked it, so I decided to purchase the license for three computers. According to the company's web site, the purchase price had been reduced from $79.95 to $49.95. I clicked on the "Purchase" button and checked out, hoping that at checkout the reduction in price would be reflected. It wa...

On 11-21-09 in the middle of the night someone used my bank card to purchase something from Kaspersky.com. We found 2 charges for $108.02 to be charged to our account. We called our bank immediately and put a hold/stop on my card and was told we just have to wait and see if the 2 charges just get dropped or if they go through. So we sat and waited, then on...

And some apple me fraud for like 1.13 which is still pending. I was wondering what the hell was going on with my card and stuff. I called and that's what it was. I just received my debit card statement and I have two harges from DRI KASPERSKY for 59.36 each! I have no clue either who or what this is! And also did not authorize any of these charges. My next move is to the police department to make fraud charges!

Kaspersky Lab bad customer support

I had installed KIS 2009 (3 user version) after which my system somehow gt infected and I had to format it. Now after formatting when i went to reinstall KIS 2009 i.e enterr the acctivation code the software gives the error "Code activation procedure failed 4:14". I had sent a msg to the support team they gave me a no. and informed that they will respond in 2 days, which never happened! I'm really dissapointed with Kaspersky for this. I have been running the inactivated version, no updates! Ive paid a whole lot for this software n these guys dont have any proper customer support!

I bought a license for Kaspersky One 2013, 1-year 5-devices, and the license expired the next day. Despite many tries and something like 12 days dealing with their tech support, I got mostly canned responses, and the remainder was unhelpful. They generally refused to admit that this could happen, and continually told me to reinstall and reactivate/re-enter my license. Which I did. And sent screenshots of doing. I am highly displeased and am going to try to have the credit company reverse the charge. I will never use Kaspersky again.

This is my 3rd year using Kaspersky antivirus software, I have just recently purchased Pure 2.0 plus 1 free year. Until 2 weeks ago all was working ok until I ran a full scan and noticed that my laptop had shutdown and when I viewed the scan details "Failure unknown" was shown, this happened time and again. Kaspersky support forums suggested doing a full uninstall and reinstall which I have done 3 times with the same problem. I then created a rescue disc and ran a full scan in accordance with Kaspersky instructions and no virus's detected!. I used the "Get System Info" tool from kaspersky and generated a request with all details of my problems and my concerns that my antivirus is not working?. It has been 10 days since my request with no reply, in desperation I sent an email via their so called customer support and 3 days later still no reply. I live in Australia and when I try their phone support service it takes so long that it becomes unbearable to hang on!. I have spent most of my working life in mainframe service and support and can't believe Kaspersky's lake of customer support, the one thing I can do is never purchase a Kaspersky product again!.

Kaspersky Lab don't try to contact them

I purchased their product based solely on an available rebate. My wife tossed the box while I was installing the software and as luck would have it, the trash was picked up the same day. Since I was now missing the UPC code, I sent in the rebate with copies of the installation disk and installation code which they could verify was used by me, with an explanation regarding the missing UPC code. Since the purpose of the UPC code submission is "proof of purchase", it would seem that my submission satisfied the spirit of the offer. In fact, not so. No rebate. The main Kaspersky offices have no contact numbers that reach humans, using any tricks with various combos of 0's, *s or #s. I won't buy their security products again. I'll stick with McAfee.

I too am having difficulty with their CS. I had purchased a 1 year license through their website after my pre-installed trial had run out. Big. Huge. Mistake! Kaspersky screwed up several settings in Windows that not even the forced upgrade to 8.1 could fix! Once I saw that, I uninstalled their crap software and just decided to let it run out. Naturally I forgot until I received an email from them saying that the license was running out in about a month or so and that they would auto renew it for me. I then immediately followed their instructions to cancel the auto renewal and received the confirmation email that it had indeed been cancelled. A week later I get another email harassing me to renew. I ignored it. Yesterday I received a call from [protected] claiming to be from Kaspersky and asked for me by name. However, I was not at home to answer that call so I'm not even sure if this was a legit call from them. I then immediately attempted to file for a support request, telling them SEVERAL times in my request that I wished to no longer continue any use of their product. All I got in response was a standard email telling me how to renew if I was having trouble renewing! Obviously, their techs DO NOT EVEN BOTHER to read customers' support requests THOROUGHLY before responding. I am praying that I don't have to go through another unwanted CC charge. I would definitely warn people from KAV especially since you'd get just as lousy CS if you used a free AV.

ANY other rebate company would do exactly the same! Even McAfee! No UPC code, no check. I feel for you as i have gotten the worse end of the deal from these rebate companies before. Good luck getting your rebate

FYI- i believe kaspersky uses a company www.myrebateonline.com to do their rebates. The phone number on their rebate forms is [protected]

I was charged using my bank debit card for something i never ordered. An unsolicited package arrived the end of september or there abouts, and was returned via post office, to sender unopened. I am showing a charge of $88. 90. How did they get my debit card number? Who is hacking in to my account? There is something called dry river? How do i reach someone who can help resolve this issue?
