unfair treatment/illegal
I work at the KFC in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Our boss Shirley Robinson, clocks us out earlier than she should. She clocks us out, while we are still working! She, along with other managers make us stay, after we are clocked out, at KFC. We are not allowed to leave, until everybody else is clocked out. Which many times has taken over 20 minutes. By law, we are supposed to be payed. This is illegal and action should be taken.

Good day,
I would like to inform you that:
1. Heidelberg kfc's service is poor, but not as poor as
2. The food - if you buy the burgers it is so dry you can't swallow it.
3. The chicken is so oily, you can't get it into your body
4. And worst of all, yesterday we bought chicken, the pieces were not so oily but a green piece ball of hard fat or whatever was stuck under the chicken crumbs - I don't know what it was, but it look awful and we could not eat further - the pieces were not cleaned before cooked.
Why does this not happen to us at other kfc's, why is the service there so great and the food excellent.
Is it the quality of the workers?

I went in to huyton branch for round 6pm on tuesday last week for a family bucket for us. Bought 8pcs chicken deal family meal, got home looking forward to eating it and me an family, but the whole 8 pcs chickens ended up going in bin as all chickens had a funny smell as if it was off and very oily like if it was re-cooked and the fries look like been re cooked very bad condition and oilychips bags were oily and ripped in bits inside bucket.
The only thing was ok was the coleslow which was prepacked, all three of us in the family thought the chickens were off so we ended up going to macdonalds for fresh food,
I must mention that this is the first time im complainning from many bad things that I have experinced from this paticullar branch, this is my local kfc as I live near them and I do my best not to go there usually I go to other branches.
Also other problems in this branch is the place is always dirty, floor, tables are never cleaned, bins always have rubbish hanging out of them, the staff are very unhelpfull always having bits missing from ur order and forgetting to give u things like forks for coleslaw tissues, missing out the gravy, salt etc etc when u sitting in or take out and so forth.
U never see a manager in front incase u have a complaint only some young girls which when ur food is late or missing no apology or anything, eg they have missed out ur popcorn or miss pcs chicken and u have to come bak from car and wait in quee again to get them and with a bad attitude they just put it in the bag and handed to u as though the customer is in fault, no sorry or anything from staff, I get better service in the local chip shop if mistakes happen. There is always a issue with this branch I think the management needs retrainning properly like ur other branches.

My husband went in to KFC tonight & ordered me a 2 piece chicken dinner with what was supposed to be a breast & a leg. I opened the dinner & took a bite of cold mashed potatoes & gravy & told him they were disgusting, so he went back in & told them that the potatoes were cold & asked them if he could have an order of warm mashed potatoes & they told him that they were warm & they didnt have any more & it was close to closing time anyway & gave him an order of coleslaw which I didnt want an extra order of coleslaw or I would have ordered an extra one in the first place. While he was in there trying to get me some edible mashed potatoes, I seen they gave me a wing that didnt have any meat on it in place of the leg that he ordered. Then I couldnt even get the fork into the breast, it was so tough. The chicken tasted plum nasty also. I would suggest that they start closing earlier & go home, since they arent doing their job anyway.As far as I am concerned, not only did we get ripped off more or less paying $8.00 to $9.00 for an order of coleslaw & a biscuit ( the only 2 measly things edible out of the whole dinner), but whoever is paying the employees their wages there got ripped off too, because where I come from, if you are on the clock & you arent doing your job, you are stealing from the company & losing customers for your employer also, which neither my husband, my son, or I will ever go back. By the way, this event took place on Jan.23, 2010 in case the ONE who signs these particular employees' checks would be interested in knowing which ones of their employees are lacking customer service skills for a starter.

I usually make fun of these complaints. I have been in management for more than 20 years. Mostly food service. The unfortunate reality is that the fast food industry is the toughest industry to find good help. The pay is poor, the hours are poor, and the truth is, you are relying on 16 year olds to cook your food properly and serve it with a smile. These same 16 year olds grow up a few years later and join the ranks of the management team. They do not change their views on you the customer. They just have better pay. It is unfortunate that this is the case, but it will never change. I find the restuarant that gives the best food and service in my area, and never change. I would suggest calling the store and requesting the corporate number or district managers number. If they will not give it to you, call another KFC in your area and chances are they are owned by the same people/company. In a NICE way, explain to them that you want to make a formal complaint on ANOTHER store. Tell them that their place is great, and the other store should follow their example. The management team at the "good" restuarant will be glad to help, because when you finally get the district manager's number, you will tell the district manager that you had to get the number from the "good" restuarant. Good luck to you. They will most likely appoligize and possibly give you coupons for your trouble. Give them a chance to make it up to you. They do not want to loose a customer.

I haven't eaten at kfc in a while, while on a business trip I stopped at the kfc in Gonzales, La. This was about the worst fried chicken I ever ate. I also ordered a Coca Cola and they didn't sell coke. I then cancelled the order for a drink and the server told me it comes with the meal. Therefore i was forced to have a pepis.Other than having soggy cooked chicken an d ridiculas pricing for a three piece meal, which I started eating and then discarded, I decided not to eat there anymore. I am a fried chicken lover and never thought there ever was bad fried chicken.

I am from peshawar and peshawar is a land of hospitality, on 11 jan 2010 at 11.24pm I called at peshawar office [protected] and booked the order for Admore pump old haji camp G.T road Peshawar of (2 Mighty Zinger, one Hot Shot and another discount package), your order reciever told me that it will reach in half hour and your bill amount is 985 Rs, After 35 mints i called again and they said that there is no order on your name, Dear sir we are pathans and we valued our guest and at that time guests were with me and i realy ashamed in front of them, and i booked the order for them and when i told your order reciever, he behaved so rudely.

I waited in the que for about 5 minutes. When ordering I was told that I had to wait 15 minutes because the chicken wasn't ready; I excepted this and waited patiently. When I got my food I was about to start eating when I found I hair on my chicken, the hair was a different colour and length to one of my own. As I investigated I found 6 more hairs. I took the two pieces of chicken that contained hairs up to the till and I issued a calm but stern complaint. I was arragantly and rudley spoken too and all the manager could do was refund the chicken that had hairs on them and gave me regular sized fries even though I had paid for a large. The manager said that he couldn't refund the whole meal. I was outraged and I wish to take the complaint further.

i went down to have my meal at kfc teluk intan today and very very dissappointed with the service given by staff and managers. I was there at 11.45 am to have zinger meal set and to my suprise, only 1 counter were opened! There are 6 counters available but only 1 counter in used! What the hell is hapening. I saw 2 useless managers, one of them wearing name tag with ZANA, i guess cause they are wearing neck tie with different colour uniform. What i observed that the managers not botherd, not cheerful, not friendly at all. Come on, is this the kfc standard employ such kind of people to manage the international restaurant. I saw a chinese girl managing the counter by herself with full of tension since there was a long que. If i not mistaken the cashier name was PIN.Why not the manager open the counter to clear the customers? I have waited for 15 min in the que and just cant tolerate anymore, i left the restaurant with full of frustation and angry. I'm just puzzle and want to know any higher management, country manager are looking on this service issue or they dont care what is happenig. Please wake up and do something to improve. Do not let your service run in the drain. I prefer to go to Mc D now.

Dealing With Poor Customer Service
All companies are only concerned with their bottom line. All companies have very poor customer service representatives. My advice:
1. First try to settle the matter with the company’s CSR. It will not do any good but you have tried.
2. Be polite but firm.
3. Ask for the name, number and state the CSR you are talking to is from. If you are transferred to a foreign country ask to speak to a CSR in North America.
4. Keep written copies of all your correspondence. Insist that all replies from the company be in writing. Good luck on that one, companies don’t like to leave a paper trail.
5. If you don’t like writing, record the calls, advise the CSR that you are recording the call.
6. If you have an attorney and three-party calling, arrange to have your attorney on the line before you call the company. My attorney advised me that you are not required to inform the CSR or company that another person is monitoring the call .Keep copies of all of the bills you receive. The eventual lawyers, FCC, BBB and state attorney general will want copies of all of your paper work.
7. File a complaint with the FCC about your cell phone carrier, it won't do any good, but it's on record.
8. If it is not a cell phone carrier, file the complaint with the FTC, or whichever of thousands of government agencies that handle your issue.
9. Please realize that all government agencies are overworked and have been paid off by lobbyist.
10. Join any class action lawsuit against the company.
11. File a complaint with your local Better Business Bureau.
12. Contact your state attorney general.
13. During this prolonged economic rough patch all companies are out to make money anyway they can.
14. Join any class action lawsuit against the cell phone carrier. The lawyers will take the bulk of the settlement after years of ligation. When the company finally settles they will pass the cost of the settlement onto their customers, write if off on their taxes or both if they can get away with it.
15. Do this with any company or service you are having problems unresolved problems with that company or service.
16. I realize this is a lot of work, but it’s the only way to get things to change. Don’t expect overnight results, they won’t happen.
I give you this advice at no charge.

To whomsoever it may concern,
This is to inform you that I, Ameen Syed Mohammad and David D'Souza were at KFC, Quay Street Auckland on the 19th of December 2009 around 3:00 pm. We had
ordered 8 chicken pieces along with 2 fries which was $22.50.
When opening the containing packet, To our surprise there was an insect that was in the food! To our bad luck it flew away. Thankfully there was
another one that was lying dead in the food. We consulted the manager Sabah Moughal regarding this. She offered us a refund or an exchange for the food which
I personally believe is unacceptable.
Consuming this food would probably incur in our demise. We were fortunate enough to notice this or else you would probably read about us in the
obituary column in the newspaper with no one else to blame but you wonderful brand. I would also like to point out that she treated the situation like it
was an everyday event with no remorse.
I am OR rather USED TO BE a great follower of KFC and me and my mates were regular diners at your outlets. After this event I don't think that we
would ever dine at your outlets and the very thought of eating at KFC now makes me want to purge. I have the receipt of our order as well. We don't know if
you have security cameras at the branch but if you do you will clearly see us coming back with the order and returning it. Unfortunately we did not want to
create a scene at the moment so we took the replacement and left which I wouldn't eat even if it was blessed at my holy place.
To top it when we opened the new packet to look at the food I felt like I was in one of the gulf countries with more oil than the food. I seriously
believe that strict action needs to be taken against this and a reasonable compensation needs to be arranged or else we would take serious action. If any of us had to consume this food and died who would be blamed?

Today I was faced with a choice, to either sit in at my office and order a delivery from a free delivery service. But I finally decided that I have been in the mood for KFC for a while now, so I got into my car to specially drive after my craving. When I got to KFC in Orange Grove, I placed my order with a lady called Bongake. She took my order, as it was just one meal order, she asked me whether I would like something extra. Appreciating her upselling skills, and trying to be polite, I decide to order some veggie bites aswell. She gave me the amount owing, I then counted my cash and was R 5.00 short of the amount owing, show I wipped out my Cheque card. Just to get a filthy dirty look, because it would mean more work for her to process, I guess. Once my card payment was approved she turned around to pack my order. I called her twice to tell her I would like to sit and eat, not take away. Her colleagues working on the other till heard me say that I will be sitting down, shook her head, after asking her to please ask Bongeka to please bring my order for me upstairs. Sitting down, now satisfied with my decision, I go on doing the bit of work I brought out of the office. Twenty minutes later, after still waiting for my order, I realised there must be something out of place. Just to walk down stairs to the counter, and there is my order. With Bongake standing behind the counter with a comment "Oh, there you are, I was looking for you". As a huge fan of KFC, this is now the last straw. After several times, recently, being treated with a no care attitude, I've decided that KFC does not need my business, from now on, I would much rather go to a take away restaurant that care. KFC DONT CARE!

After my working day, i visited Bayan Baru XXX Fried chicken Francies to have my dinner, ordered the recent new item - HOT Rxxs, who knows, i found something unexpected, look carefully, ... it is plastic material.
Previously we heard of the fried bananas, in order to make it crispy, they will add in some plastic (e.g. mineral water bottle) who knows the i saw the same thing at this XXX Fried Chicken francies! Although plastic could accidently drop into the cooking place, but this is really rediculous. Just warning every of you, please be careful before you having fried foods outside.
My apologize on the bad english, I just hope people should know about this, KFC is worldwide business, if any one of the premise are doing this, might risking the consumer, it might be someone you love.

i have been working there at this company and they have recently cut my hours down to nil i have a family and need the work to provide for them . i havent done anything wrong as far as work wise and want this matter resolved i was employed in march of this year

Not necessarily, omg. When I worked for my last job (it was union, by the way), they cut everyone's hours to the bare minimum so that they wouldn't have to lay off their employees.
When a company isn't doing well, they can either lay off employees or cut hours to the bone. Especially since the poster hasn't been employed long, I'm sure more senior employees get more hours before newer employees do when they have to cut time.
For you to get your hours cut so dramatically means A) a manager does not get a long with you or B) you have managed to not follow some rule and instead of them firing you they would rather have you quit

Had problem with food was told that letters would be sent out were not told to go to store next time food would be on house, go there would not give me food gave me hard time with saying they new nothing of situation after contacting onder of franchise would said next time no problem be taking care of tlked to her manager was a ok, went there discused with manger on dudy said no such info was told to her there was nothing she could do basicly I was lying and was told because I was disagreeing with what she was twlling me she ask me to keave the store or she would call police because I was complaining and that was the way it goes. worms inside chicken
I had horrible incident with KFC sold me chicken with live worms inside, which I discovered until the next day in a 20 pieces bucket.. I did complain as well but they just didnt give a ***, they were just interested in making it very clear that they "follow all the procedures and blah blah" so implying that I jsut decided to put 55 hour live worms on my 15 hour after fried chicken... like just for funsies or something? It is the worst company ever and I will post this everywhere I can because it is ridiculous, they asre supposed to have this chicken fried under pressure and what not and still I have read quite a few comments about raw KFC chicken... anyway there is still no reason for my chicken to have any kind of eggs.

We placed the order immediately when reached around 11.45am. After 15 minute, we noticed that no staff attended to our order. I went to check the order status with the Restaurant Branch Manger named Mr. Wan Ahmad. He had treated me impolitely with below conversion:
Customer (myself) : Sir, can you please check my orders?
Wan : You just order right?! Can’t you just wait! (With frustration tone and moody face)
Customer (myself) : How’s long it will take as our company management staff are waiting for these lunch before go for Friday praying?
Wan : Could you please just wait? It will take around 20 minute! (Again with high tone)
After that, he grabbed the receipt and prepared the order reluctantly.
Lastly, he delivered the order to us without saying “Thank You” and apologies words.
We managed to get our food at12.50pm, about 1 hour after we stepped in the restaurant.
Is this so call “fast food restaurant”?
I puzzled.
Secondly, Is this the way KFC trained their staff.
Wan Ahmad is a branch manager.
I believe the staff under him might behave like him since he play the role model in the branch.
I spend my time feedback my negative experience this afternoon with the intention that KFC will improve your service.

lack of food
Went to kfc drive thru, ordered bucket of original, with 4 bisquits and 2 sides, 8 piece. We weretold did not have enough originalwould we take 2 pieces of krispy. Agreedto that. As we pulled away, checked the bag to find no bisquits. Drove back through, now 3 cars ahead of us, waited to find out they only have 2 bisquits to offer us. Obviously they di not have the bisquits to begin with, and though they would get away with it. They offered us a side, we did not want another side so they gave us 2 pieces of chicken. The whole thing was very upsetting. The workers should have been honest to begin with and not try and cheat us and waste our time.
