I have been buying Lazy Boy chairs for over 50 years and I love them. However, as old as I was I never knew what bonded leather was until I bought a bonded leather chair, and within a few years the leather started separating on the arms of the chair. I kept patching it with vinyl patches and eventually covered the patches with chair arm covers, until I finally threw it out.
About two years ago my buddy was moving and he gave me a Lazy Boy chair, this chair also had bonded leather which I knew at the time, but since he gave it to me, I took it. It too started separating on the arms and once again I bought some vinyl patches. Since I am 81 I just hope it last until I die. The structure and comfort of the chair are great it is the cheap paper leather that you put on it that is garbage, and you should be ashamed of yourself for producing such garbage. It was my own ignorance that I did not know what bonded leather was, as I started asking other people if they knew what bonded leather was, most people did not know.
Desired outcome: I don't expect you to do anything.
