Cancellation of Lebara mobile subscription in Switzerland

We have requested to cancel the above mentioned subscription several times on telephone, in November as well as in December 2023. we also received message that the subscription cancellation is successful but we are still getting the invoices of charges.

We tried several times on chat to request the subscription cancellation, but it the message appears that the Customer service is busy. Even by waiting no response is received from the Customer Service. They do not accept cancellation request by post mail or by email. It is so difficult to cancel the subscription and the charges of subscription continue month by month.

Incoming calls from Lyca
Ported into Lebara on 6 Nov 2023 from Lyca. Since then, incoming calls from Lyca network does not reach me. Tested via friends to understand incoming calls from Vodafone, BT, EE, Lebara are working fine. I had raised a request 4 days ago to issue me a letter for barrings and phone usage proof for my list phone for claiming the insurance, they said it will take 24 to 48 hours and today is 4th day and still haven't got it, called the customer service multiple times, reach time they say tomorrow, 24 hours and 48 hours. Ian really really struggling to get it because of their poor service and negligence they show towards the customers.
It's really really very very bad and worst service ever on the planet.

Where did my money end up?
On October 27 november 1 I recharged 50 swiss francs on LEBARA no money showed up on my iPhone. It has been charged on my UBS VISA GOLD CREDIT CARD. As the credit did not show up on my phone I recharged by SUNRISE another 50 Swiss francs still for my LEBARA top up. Please do not tell me it's a scam.

contract from 5 pounds for a year since 09/08/23
Since a have contract the year plan from 5 pounds I have problems with the Internet service of my mobile (number +[protected]).
I have made two new recharges, the 23 of August (from 3 pounds extra) and the 25th, 10 pounds more.
Today I had problems again, and we even have closed the first month of contract.
I wait for your response and hope to have resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Customer service
I called today to say I tried to call my sister and nephew a few times snd each time got a message saying ' You have used all your calling credits please arrange a top up'. I am on a sim only deal and pay monthly. I explained this to the customer service guy. He tried to blame me saying payment hadn't been made and that I probably didn't have enough money in my bank acc! I said I have more than enough. He was most unhelpful. In the end I told him I'm switching networks. I would definitely not recommend Lebara to anyone. Most disappointed. I have 2 phones on this network and have not a problem with other.
Desired outcome: I'm not bothered what you do. Just letting you know I am deeply disappointed in your customer service
payg sim registration
I bought a gold number on Lebara, and it won't register. I have the brand new pack, but someone has ported my number to Voda where it sits unused. I did chat to Jaffar online and was asked to send pics. I have heard nothing though, despite asking 5 times over the last month, from two different email accounts. This sim was £100.
The first email was sent 13/7/22 at 14:04 GMT. Titled "Real sim? Jaffar"
Desired outcome: I would like the number. Lebara use Voda, so perhaps have it left there. Where I can get some service.
SIM activation and Number transfer
Nothing seems to work after the network switch. I got my new SIM while there was a network issue with Lebara that had kept all the customers under the new network without any network. During that time I could not activate the new SIM that I received. As there was no network, no activation code was delivered. To activate the SIM using lebara.de I gave my wife's number to receive the activation code and it didn't work too. This is when the problem started. Unfortunately, that SIM number got assigned to my wife's mobile number automatically. After several follow-ups (1 follow-up is 100+ failed calls and on a successful attempt I need to wait for 50+ minutes = min --> 2+ hours of waiting on a working day), I could activate my SIM, and then the network started working with my number. I can make outgoing calls and others could reach me on my mobile number. I felt happy that it started working again. Two weeks later, my wife got the new SIM. She inserted her new SIM and then the problem started. Somehow my phone which had my SIM got automatically assigned to my wife's number (without any notice. It took a while to know that my mobile has my wife's number when people complained that they could not reach me). Again after several follow-ups, got hold of a crazy support guy, who promised that we would get a new SIM for my wife and my number gets activated. Now it's been 3 weeks since that call, I still didn't receive any SIM, and neither my number is activated. The problem didn't stop here. I thought that it was no more reliable and planned to switch to another network. I immediately applied for another one and asked them to activate that, but I wanted my old number. I again tried to contact Lebara (and this time via email). They don't read the emails carefully as in the 'opt-in' form, I couldn't fill SIM number for my mobile number, as I don't know to which SIM this has been assigned. I clearly stated that in my email and send the form being filled except SIM number. After a day or so, he replied saying that they cannot proceed as the SIM number in the form is empty. After that, there is no reply to any of my emails. To leave Lebara with the same number has also become such a huge trouble. It is a prepaid number too. Unbelievable service in Germany. All I want now from Lebara is just the number transfer to the next service provider. I don't want my balance money in the account. just my old number. Leave me alone.

I have lebara SIM in Berlin. The New SIM card as a part of service provider change worked for few days and then suddenly stopped working today. I had followed all the steps for activating new SIM card, and I got message confirming my new SIM is activated etc. I am really not able to understand why it suddenly stopped working. I am not able to call customer care as my SIM card is not working and when I try to connect with an agent using chat box, I am put on waiting for hours without any response.
Desired outcome: I want my SIM card to work again as soon as possible, as this is costing me my work and a lot more.
Subscription
In this February, I purchased a SIM card at the Lebara store in the Netherlands. The SIM card was planned to be used during the week for the trip. In the first hour after arrival, all Internet traffic ended. I changed the mobile operator and forgot about this sim-card. But a few months later it turned out that I had a subscription! And the company billed me 16 euros monthly for communication services that I don't use at all! Even more at the same time, I can't cancel my subscription! I also can't pay the bills, since I have been in another country for the last six months and I have no way to pay with a Dutch bank card. At the same time, the company sends letters threatening to transfer my debt to collectors. In a reply letter, I outlined the essence of the problem and offered to find a solution together, but I did not receive an answer. I don't recommend it
Desired outcome: I'm asking Lebara team to understand my situation and finally both cancel both my subscription, which I did not know about, and bills for communication services that I did not use.
Lebara transition
I cannot activate my phone since the migration. The activation code is not recognized. My email address is no longer recognized. Their customer support is not responding. I waited for more than 2 hrs in the chat, watching the number of people ahead of me slowly go down until in the end no live person came on and I was just simply terminated. Unacceptable to leave customers that need their phone service so unsupported. I am switching service!
Desired outcome: Refund of June month subscription.
Prepaid sim card (lebara plus travel surf unlimited)
I bought a Lebara SIM card (60CHF) in the Geneva Airport on May 29th 2022. The card was marketed as having unlimited data and valid in all the European countries I was planning to visit for a month. I got a low balance notification after 1 full day of using the SIM (there’s no was I could have used all the data for an “unlimited” data SIM in one day). I found a number I could text to check the data balance to which I received a response stating that I still had 61214MB of data. That night the SIM stopped working completely (it said “No Service” where there’s usually a carrier listed). I have been unable to connect with customer service as all of Lebaras options involve calling or texting, both of which I am unable to do because I don’t have a working SIM. I finally found a number to call and was able to use someone else’s phone and was hung up on twice while on hold. I’ve tried to chat with customer service agents and the automated messenger informed me that a ticket was created and that I would be contacted soon for follow up however I haven’t received any response. I’m incredibly disappointed not only in the terrible quality of the product but also the inaccessibility of customer service and the poor treatment of customers. If this issue is not resolved I will never be using Lebara again and will actively tell every traveler I know (as well as ask them to spread the word) not to use this company as now I’m convinced this is a scam.
Desired outcome: I would like either my service to be restored (with a credit for the two full days I’ve now had without service) or a full refund (minus the one day of service I had).
The new SIM Card that got delivered as a part of network change is not working and not registered to network.

My SIM got deactivated because of the network change of lebera and the new SIM delivered by lebera is not getting registered to network. From last 20 days we are in a daily calls with the lebera customer care and non of them are helping us in resolving the issue. They always say "We create a complaint and issue should be resolved in 24 to 48 hours" . Standard response . Pretty hard to reach and if reached , receiving the same response.
Desired outcome: I want to make the SIM card working and my number usable . If not please refund my balance and my number .
Mobile 'services'
Lebara have been charging me for an account that I do not own. I have spoken with their Indian call center and, because I do not own the account they refuse to close it and refund my money. My only option now is to instruct my card company not to pay their demands and subsequently sue Lebara in the courts for extortion and racketeering.
Desired outcome: They need to contact me to resolve this.
SIM Card Cancellation not working!
I have acquired a monthly subscription SIM Card for a dutch number ([protected]) with Lebara, allowing me to cancel with only one month in advance.
Timeline:
- 14th of September 2021: I contacted the Lebara customer service (+31 6 [protected]) and asked for a cancellation.
- 26 of November: I was still charged in November. I contacted the same number. They confirmed I had a request made in September but it "didn't go through", I requested to cancel again!
- 21 of January 2022: Received an invoice for the month of January! I called same number and they confirmed the two previous contacts and requests with the same excuse that "it didn't go through". I am waiting for a response and they are still going to deduct this month 2 days from now!
These were phone calls, I have no documentation for this, but was told on the phone that they have the previous cancellation requests.

Migration of sim
Lebara France did migration to a new SIM card but before customers received it, they deactivated our current SIM cards.
When I called to complain, they said they would send me a new express SIM card that could be activated on same day but another advisor today told me it would not be possible.
It is really poorly executed migration and my friends' networks have deteriorated after changing to new SIM.
I have an ongoing plan till 17 Nov but they refuse to give me refund too.
Poor overall.

Phone contact
They are cheap for a reason. There customer service is almost nonexistent they have a chat system that is not fit for purpose. I spent 8 hours over 3 days trying to cancel my contact and retrieve my phone number that had been ported to them. I finally got a callback from a manager but the call kept dropping and he phoned 4 times. He was rude and when he found out I hadn't downloaded the transcript of the chat he hung up on me. Lebara is the worst experience I have ever had with a phone company and I just want to make people aware that when a company is on the I internet without a presence who are they accountable to and because if the are governed they don't care. I've now cancelled but until I transfer my number I'm concerned that these cowboys can mess this up.

05.06.2021 I Signed up to Lebara from Uswitch and the first three months was have price and then it went back to the normal price of £4.95, I noticed on my bank account that I was paying £4.95 instead of £2.49 so I contacted Lebara and they haven't addressed me but instead just ignored my complaint. I have asked Lebara to provide me with a right of access to I can have a copy of my order but they have also ignored my request.

Sim only subscription
I noticed that the Sim Only subscription is fraudulent as I don't seem to benefit much from such service. I want to cancel this service. I won't mind paying for the services I have used but I can't afford to pay for the remaining 22 months of service that I don't seem to enjoy or benefit from.

This meant that I am feeling very terrible like I have been scam.
Canceling the subscription by allowing me to pay for any services used before canceling only.
