Washer
I bought a washer for my mother with extended warranty. The washer broke, took the repair company just over a month to show up. Then told 7 to 10 days for the part and repair. Took another month of me calling and calling! They finally agreed to come on a day. My mother who has Parkinson's couldn't get to the door in time and the guy left. My mother said it took her about 3 min to get to the door.
Now I've been calling and leaving message no reply. I've been emailing try to reschedule, no reply! It's been almost 3 weeks now.
Now Leon's it's self are giving me the run around.
This is not the way a company should treat people that bought an item from them.
I don't recommend this company to anyone! Very very poor service!
Sofa purchase warranty service
I bought my sofa from Leon's with extended warranty. Nobody is honoring the warranty for long time stating the COVID as the reason and when the date passes by telling me the warranty has expired.
Shame on the customer service from Zucora and Leon's for ripping people money. You have looted money from us.
Fix my damm sofa, talk to Zucora Home to honor what they got paid for or stop selling extended warranty.
Product purchase and non delivery
I purchased a EDEN bedroom assembly with tall dresser and extra night table. I paid the full price of over $5, 000 dollars up front. I am the manager for this condominium and your delivery truck is seen dumping a stove on our private property at 9601 and 9621 Jane St in Vaughan. This is to advise that we have forwarded this matter the the city of Vaughan bylaw dept and we are hoping they will fine/charge you for this dumping and these drivers should be relieved of their duty for not knowing better. Dumping bylaws are clear in every municipality of public and private property.
Customer service
I bought a daybed from Leons for $563.87. When I called the NOTL store and spoke to Allen and Dustin in the warehouse I explained to them as a disabled person, I would need to ensure that it would be put together/asssembled. They assured me that it would be. the delivery guys dropped it off Dec [protected]@2:20pm, they refused to assemble it. I spoke to the manager at the NOTL store he refused to do anything to resolve the issue. I dont feel I was treated fairly. Now I have to struggle to put it together myself
Sofa I bought
I bought a sofa from Leon's in Toronto in August 2021 The Order No. is 08291TSRNXM and the Item Code on the invoice is [protected]. Immediately I noticed that the cushions were discoloured and arranged for replacement of the cushions. I understand that the cushions for replacement were ordered and the last time I heard from your Customer Service in early September ( 3 months ago) they were being shipped from somewhere else in Canada. Then I heard nothing for the next 2 1/2 months and my email to you Customer Service has not been replied. This is truly ridiculous and possibly the worst retail service I have ever experienced! Will NEVER buy from Leon's again!

Dining table
I am writing this email in a very desperate situation and hope you will help.
I have bought a dining table and chairs from an online order.
The week I was supposed to receive the table and chairs, I received a call from the store (Britania - Haeratland) that my order was delayed two weeks due to a defect found in the table.
Next week I received a table and chairs but I found deep scratches on the side of the table. I emailed the concerned and called and notified the store.
I was told that I is delayed due to backorder.
I was also told that there will be a technician to dissembled the defective table and I will get the new table.
The day of delivery is set up on the weekend Sunday. Delivery was at my door and the person asked me to return table, I told him that store supposed to send a technician to disassemble it, he said he is a delivery person, I asked him to wait let me call store but he left, so I suffered again due to store mismanagement.
After several calls to the store, the technician has arrived at my house and he told my wife that he will loose all the bolts/ screws. It was very unsafe since I have kids and the loose table will fall and can cause safety issues.
Anyway despite the heavy table and back injury, I disassembled the table and packed it into the box.
Finally, after a few weeks, my delivery arrived.
I suffered one more time when I opened the box and found only the table top and missing the bottom portion of the table.
Here I go again, calling the store since last two weeks and I am hearing technician assigned and don't know why he is not there at my house. This is frustrating. Since this is the festive season, I missed lots of families getting together due to the unacceptability of tables.
Whenever I called and wanted to talk to the supervisor, the operator told me either the supervisor is off or busy and supercell will give me a callback. No callback. Since last 5 months, I got the opportunity to link with supervisor - Barbara, and guess what she told me that my tabletop is missing. I have explained that despite tons of calls to your store and explaining every time, you are unaware of the actual issue. Then I realized why my problem is still unsolvable.
Anyway, long story short, the only purpose to send you an email in frustration is either you resolve my issue or return my money so that at least I buy a new table.
I am a loyal customer of Leon and previously bought a tv and was very satisfactory but due to recent experience, I won't recommend Leon to anybody.

Broken tv
Purchased a tv from Leon's Scarborough location recently and noticed a large crack on the screen after unboxing it. Unfortunately, I couldn't get any help to unbox the 75" tv until a couple weeks later so by the time I reported it to Leon's, it was past the 72 hour reporting period.
Because I reported it late and after a month-long investigation, the manager (Joseph Castaneda) said they couldn't send a replacement or give a refund of any kind.
I understand that this is the company policy but I don't understand how a company like Leon's can't help a customer even a little especially when I've been a customer of Leon's for years.
It not only took over a month to get a decision but the most frustrating part is that through their investigation, he admitted that the delivery driver was suspended for not following proper delivery procedures.
In fact, when the delivery driver opened the back door of the truck, the tv box was laying flat on its side and not tied down. He slid it off the truck bed by himself into the side of the tv. The side of the tv is not meant to carry that amount of weight which is why the instructions on the box even say to lift the box in an upright position by two people... not one person and not on its side. It just so happens that the crack was on the left side of the tv screen.
How can that be a coincidence? I just don't understand how you can punish the delivery driver but still not take any responsibility and hide behind a 72-hour rule.
I'm not an unreasonable person so I even suggested a compromise of a partial refund but all he would say is he couldn't help due to the 72-hour policy. Can you at least help me out by picking up the tv and disposing it? Nope.
For those who are reading my review, I'm just telling you my experience and it's up to you to decide whether you would want to buy from a company that can treat a customer like that.
I never thought this could ever happen but, it did. For me, I can never shop at Leon's ever again or any company can do this to a customer.
I've learned a lot through this experience though. Most important is to always do research of the company's policies before making large purchases like this. For example, Best Buy has a 30-day return policy and after speaking with their returns department, their process is simple. Just call them and they will create a ticket, send a person to deliver a replacement, and pick up the damaged tv. It's that simple. No month-long investigation.
Second important lesson. Use a credit card that has purchase protection so that in case of any damage, you can be reimbursed the full cost.
Anyways, I hope my experience with Leon's helps anyone who is reading this. I know I've learned a lot and cannot recommend shopping at Leon's. It's just not worth dealing with companies like this. It's a shame.

Sofa's
To whom it may concern, I purchased 2 pieces of furniture at your Windsor store (Invoice#08261WIIIPT).
We waited for delevery for our furniture which was delivered to our location with no issues at all.
At the time they were delivered we were still not moved in yet we didn't have a chance to try them out until 2 months later.
My wife and I were seeting up the room and thought we would finally have a chance to see how the couches would feel.
To our surprise the couches were not very sturdy at all and it appears the the positioning of the legs are set in such a way that they cause the couches to sway side to side and front to back.
We had a closer look and it would appear that the legs are undersized for the couches and will eventually come apart.
The material and stitching is fine no complaints at all on that.
I have been having to motivate your Windsor manager Tory to get back to me with a response but it appears that she has been too busy as this is what she has advised me.
I did indicate that I would like these couches taken back and issue a store credit and I would by something else in your store. They are literally brand new as the day they were delivered.
I respectfully ask that you take my concerns as valid and consider that I am a past client not only for the couches and look forward to being a future customer.

I purchased a set of sofa on Oct 31, the sale rep said give her 4 week to delivery my sofa, I got and email roughly two week ago saying the delivery will be on Dec 05, 2021, a couple day after I received the email she called me back and said the delivery will delay, maybe for another week or two she don't know, a couple day later I called her a receptionist said she is busy, I leave a message asking her to call me back, I waited until the next day, she didn't return my call, I called back and the receptionist said don't see her on the floor, I left another massage, and she never returned my call, I called again the next day, and again the next, I called her since Sunday until today, I'm pretty sure she answer my call, I ask to speak to that person and she asked me to hold, and shortly after someone else come on the line and asked me to called back, because she doesn't know how to transfer the phone line to the other person desk, how is that possible? That someone doesn't know how to transfer a simple phone line by just done click, anyhow I don't calling back, so I said ok I called back, I called back right after she Hang up the line, and no one answer my call, I called back 5 time in a roll and still no one answer my called. This is not the first time I purchased item from this store, I bought all my furniture and appliances from this Leon's and I never have this problem before, this is the worst customers service ever, I'm so disappointed, I would never buy at this location again or maybe have to think twice if I should buy again from any Leon's store, because the manager at the store don't seem to care about my complaints after I spoken to him and told him what happened, he doesn't even care to apologize and he doesn't seem to care if I cancel my order or not, well they just lost one customer plus $4600 sale.

I understand the supply chain issues but I do not understand that now the order (6 months = payments) is paid that someone at the Dartmouth store hasn't bothered a folloup or an offer a substitude.
Bottom line - you are holding almost $3000 on MY money and I have NOTHING to show for it.
I have been a Leons customer for many years and now feel that Leons has let me down.
Please offer me a soution.

Full bed box spring
We ordered one full bed with box spring for my toddler boy and expected the same as the sample in Ottawa store. The bed and box spring delivered yesterday but the box spring was high profile. It's absolutely ridiculous! Because when we ordered it, we clearly said for my toddler son who was there too and expected lower bed! Today we went to the customer service in Ottawa store and wanted to exchange one lower box spring, but the customer service lady refused and said we opened the plastic then we have to pay half of the price then returned it! The box spring is $217. That means we have to pay $108.5 then buy a new one!
We claimed the sales ordered the wrong one and we expected the same as the sample in the store and the sale man did not ask anything regarding to the box spring size and now we have to pay for their mistake! The customer service lady said very cool sentence: "You are the one who is responsible for what you need!" Cool!
We are very upset and left. We are so called your VIP customer. Most of our furnitures were bought from Leon and Brick. From now on, we decide not to go Leon or Brick to have terrible experience again. So annoying and angry. It's even very hard for us to climb up the bed, how come the sale man can order one high profile for my boy even we said very clear it's for him-my little boy?! Then we have to pay for his mistake?!
Just write it down here and express our anger and disappointment! So low service. There are many other brand furniture stores with much better service!

We brought sofa on 2019 the salesperson told for the extended warranty, that can cover 5years any repairs or any problems with this sofa, and we take bt after 2yrs when we ask to zucora, they told its not covered with this.. that's a bad service.. while we take the warranty the salesperson told me that all covered for 5years.. why the store make people ful, that's not expected.. as they take my extended warranty price

Horrible Sales Agent
My husband and I went to Leon's today to purchase a new high end washer and dryer. We stood by the machines for ver ten minutes and as we were leaving an older man with black hair, glasses, and an accident finally approached us. We asked questions but he showed NO interest in helping us, he wouldn't look up the machines for us, or help us with Financing application. When I called him on his treatment of us he told us to leave to just go! I was shocked! I couldn't believe I was socially profiled then treated with such utter discrimination and ignorance! I will never shop at Leon's again after this experience, maybe a discussion with sales staff is needed to keep customers in your store! I'll take my money to trail where I am treated with respect

I am writing to let you know that I am extremely disappointed in the service that my elderly parents are receiving!
I took my mother into the Bryne dr location and placed an order on September 7th. The sales associate Mike was very nice. He informed us that the delivery date would be beginning of October. When that time passed I called back to follow up, spoke to someone on October 4th who said it should be at the bryne dr location that week. It was coming from the Newmarket location, she said that she would make sure someone called me back on the Friday October 8th to give me an update. I did not receive a call and called again to follow up on October 11th and was told that information was not correct and it should be in the beginning of November! Not one apology for the late delivery or miscommunications from the staff. I called again this morning and was told that it might arrive by mid December, and again not one apology from the lady on the phone! This is a terrible way to treat customers! I need this figured out.
